something i really really enjoy about garak's character every time i rewatch ds9 is how fucking messy he is. and like, obviously he is an incredibly interesting man who relies on ephemera and subtext to survive, taped together with trauma and his own convictions, but he's also a messy bitch in the real housewives sense as well. he would be so at home on a bravo reunion set with a glass full of wine. his entire storyline in 2x05 is him digging up dirt on dukat just bc he wants to be a huge bitch. character of all time.

GOD the fact that interior chinatown is all about willis' older brother, that's why willis became part of the investigation in the first place, everyone in town loved him, he was the favored child, kung fu master, cool suave sexy guy. he's the centerpiece of the whole story and he's never named. the narrative has such an emphasis on personal identity and roles and they never say his name. willis is a waiter is a witness is tech guy is "generic asian man" and his older brother is. the older brother. kung fu guy. the informant. they don't say his name. are you listening. he doesn't have a name.

#im gonna do the interior tmrw but im pretty happy with how these turned out #i used the volvo laplander as reference for the front and the rest is based on a honda mini pickup truck #the bars around the chassis was an afterthought.. partly bc i thought it would look cool and partly because i thought #it would be good to add something to keep the trailer attachment in place.. i think theyre used more for offroad vehicles though idk #the folding screen is also partly to block out the view of sleights room and its painted with stars to act as a backdrop #idk if the stage is strong enough to support her weight with just thick wires keeping it suspended so.. maybe smth like #a table or chair gets wedged underneath to support it from the bottom too. i just couldnt fit it on there #myart #my art #my oc #oc #sleight #concept art #doodles #vehicles #sketches #wip #idk if im gonna color this i think ill just leave it like this
