At least I now made it easier to draw and I managed to make it look good. Plus, I did a little eye-shape fenangling to basically make the wildcards a little more different.

Had one of my beloved listener rarepairs in mind and decided to do some sketches today, so! Formally introducing Wildcards, a listener ship that can be boiled down to "What if you put two Freelancers together in a room?"

We have my Freelancer, Zabdiel (he/they/doesn't care much but will say he to see what people say). He's Black Puerto Rican and (based on my headcanons) the shortest of the DAMN Polycule Crew. (Also because of @wingless-cupid, that is a guitar case on their back /lh)

And then we have the lovely @mr-laveau's Freelancer, Fern (they/xe). A Trinidadian menace to society (said affectionately /lh).

An alternate explanation of this ship is Popular (Fern) x Underground "Loner" (Zabdiel). I love them both dearly.

Space: Above and Beyond SABB The SA-43 Endo/Exo-Atmospheric Attack Jet ("Hammerhead") is the main-stay of the Marine Corps. Their SCRAM engines enable them to fly in an atmosphere and in the almost complete vacuum of space. Following in the modular design of aircraft of the late 20th century, Hammerheads can be adapted for normal combat, search and rescue, and possibly other missions. The canopies of the craft are also detachable allowing docking with space platforms. Systems that are known to exist in the Hammerheads include LIDAR (Laser Infrared Detection And Ranging), HUD (Heads-Up Display) and ODP (Optical Disk Playback). The 58th Squadron, also known as the "Wild Cards" is a United States Marine Corps Space Aviator Cavalry squadron, assigned to the 5th Wing. The 58th was formed in 2063, from recruits who graduated from the United States Marine Corps Space Aviator Recruitment Depot in Loxley, Alabama. The newly formed 58th were vital in delaying a Chig fleet from attacking Earth until reinforcements arrived from Groombridge-34. The 58th Squadron, assigned to the carrier USS SARATOGA were on the forefront of several major battles in the Chig War * Triva: Full-scale models of the "Hammerhead" fighters used in the series were created in Australia at RAAF Base Williamtown. An unverified report stated that, while they were being stored on board the freighter before shipping, crewmen from a Russian freighter were caught taking pictures of them after mistakenly thinking they were a new kind of advanced U.S. tactical fighter.

I feel its finally time to share, one of my personal favorite headcanons thats been well received by my friends.

Wildcards can hear personas outside of the metaverse.

(also personas talk and help their users think through things and converse with each other)

Imagine the chaos that can come from it, your persona confesses but you don't Or say Narukami meets one of the PTs and hears their persona, alerting him to the existence of another persona user group.

Any member of the p1 or 2 cast adopts one of the p4 or 5 kids and hears their persona.

The drama is endless!
