Ebook covers I’ve been working on since 2021.

I have one more chapter of the ebook series to refresh and then it’ll be completed when I finish the epilogue. As said in a previous post, I began compiling it all around 2021, but I did it in the order of which chapters required the least amount of work to update/refresh and everything Chapter 4 onward was pretty solid which meant i just slapped my PSD files together with some new cover art and called it a day.

The Prologue’s cover was posted back in 2021 over here and is now being considered Chapter 1. The original Chapters 1 and 2 is now combined as Chapter 2, and the rest pretty much stays the same.

I have 3 covers left to make and chapter 3 is the only one left to edit. Chapter 3’s cover (The one with the switchup between Fawful and Cackletta) will feature Lima, Chapter 5’s (how Fawful and Cackletta first met) will feature Cackletta, and I don’t know what the epilogue’s cover will be.

As for the the pages that were updated for the ebooks, I’ve retyped all the dialogue in the font that was used for Chapter 4 onward and re-wrote some of the spicier dialogue that totally did not age well 12 years later. All of the edited pages are uploaded to www.immortalfool.thecomicseries.com and the PDFs will be uploaded later this week to my gumroad page and cameronluna.deviantart.com

I’ll repost these as a complete set when the complete set is done.

I almost had Cackletta toss a kamek-dressed-as-peach jab in this panel but then i realized that this page was written in 2010 and having a 2010 page jab a scene to a game that didn’t released yet would be a time paradox—- except new SMB Wii came out in 2009! Whoops!

Originally, it was intended to be a re-occurring thing that Kamek didn’t like looking at Fawful when Cackletta’s possession made him girl-shaped, but that was handled better in the Chapter 4 fight scene and we’ll leave it that that.

But anyway, we get more jokes of Lima and Cackletta calling him a child because he’s significantly younger than they are.

I’d love to do commentary on more of this someday!
