#Why do the Avengers Books not touch on the twins reasons for fighting against Orchis

I've always said Wanda is the child with the most in common with Magneto personality wise and I stand by it. look at the above! Definitely channeling Daddy Mags. Love how she is drawn and coloured here too. Though I'm not sure why colourists deep giving brown characters and orange undertone?

However I was surprised by how little Wanda was on this issue. I know it's a big team but the big emotional beats for the mutants were with Tony and Carol and Wanda was just there to look cool which I think is a missed opportunity.

The few Wanda panels we got were great but it felt like this was all action and no character moments (this is a problem with modern comics in general - I said the same with Uncanny Avengers). Wanda has family in this fight. Her sister and son were directly impacted by it.

Her twin brother was one of the first "non mutants" on the front lines of the fight against Orchis and presumably is still fighting. For a long time Lorna was missing and she doesn't mention it at all? Feels odd. Maybe the next issue we'll get something but it feels strange that Tony and Carol are more invested than her. That we get to here their thoughts but not Wanda's thoughts given she was a mutant for 50 years, had mutant family members and a complicated past with them. Her waiting room is what brings Magneto back from the dead!

If anyone knows what the mutants are going through on the Avengers it's Wanda. Not to mention the sheer amounts of hate crimes she experienced as a Romani Jewish woman. Even Pietro is shown identifying and siding with the mutants to advocate that Rouge leads the Unity Squad in Uncanny Avengers and he is the only member of the team referred to as a "mutie" by Orchis which was significant and something. The narrative places him as one of the mutants even if he technically isn't one anymore (though I suspect that will change soon). But we don't get any of that for Wanda even which I think we should. This whole Fall of X event ignores personal stakes for our heros, their human reasons to fight, and the event is lacking for it.
