These sewers are also now the main way for them to enter the city forcing them to walk through filth should they need something they can't provide for thmselves. The person who would be their advocate, whatever Lord resided in the Sunset House was driven mad by chesty and burnt his home down with himself inside, leaving them with no one to help them.

And then they named it Mourning Wood making it so difficult to talk about.
