Another use buying a bunch of baby wipes online
Then it becomes an uncomfortable situation for you and everyone around you, and most importantly, for your baby. New born baby products come in varieties of brands and specifications in the Indian market, but like every other product based business, there are always chances of fakes or flawed product, which can prove to be very harmful for your baby.  Another use buying a bunch of baby wipes online, is that you can swab him and bath him/her, without doing the deadly weekly watch.  Baby wipes online have to be ordered after considering some basic points though like whether your baby is allergic or not to the material of the wipes.
To make sure this never happens to you, all you have to keep in mind are a few new born baby products, and a few articles of care for the mother as well, like readily available breast pump India. This is especially very rampant in India, where a large percentage of women suffer from post-natal health risks. It is at this time that you should know, the first thing to have right now for your baby, are some wonderful baby wipes online. The prime subjects of interest when making a purchase should be your baby’s exclusive needs, and the careful consideration to decide whether the products meet those needs correctly or not. You are not experienced, the baby is uncomfortable and it all smells.  Sometimes caring for the baby gets so much importance in the household, the mother often forgets to take care of her own health needs.
Also, mechanically pumping out the produced breast milk, increases the breast milk production as well as saves the mother from tenderness and heaviness of her breasts.  For the first few months, cleaning your baby after every diaper refill can be scary anytime. The baby wipes should be comfortable but light, and not inflame or create rashes on your baby’s tender skin. One of the newest and appreciated steps in the process to proper maternal Wholesale Custom Convenient Wipes Manufacturers care, is the introduction of breast pump India.com. Extra care thus, has to be taken when ordering any such product. Babies are allergic to a lot of things, so it’s imperative to check that none of the new born baby care products you are ordering contains anything that might be allergic to your baby.  Breast pump India is clearly gaining favors with the working woman, who needs to stay away from their babies for long hours due to their jobs and thus have to store their breast milk till they can feed it to their babies

Sex Toy Materials 2: What AM I Allowed To Put In My Butt?!?!
Check out part 1!
Did you know I’m writing this series of posts for a college class?
Anyway. “So what am I allowed to stick in my holes?” you may ask. As aforementioned, silicone is the only nonporous, body-safe material for sex toys that can be soft, but there are plenty of harder materials out there that are safe and much cheaper. Stainless steel (not a good example of cheaper), aluminum, glass (just be careful with anything that might be painted), glazed ceramic, wood (there’s a way to properly seal it to make it nonporous, don’t put a rocking horse up your butt), and certain types of treated stone (NOT anything sold by Gwyneth Paltrow) are fantastic materials for sex toys.
To sterilize your toys, you can easily wipe them down with rubbing alcohol or a bleach solution and rinse them off before their next use. If your toys don’t have motors, you can also boil them, run them through the dishwasher, or even bake them if they won’t fit in those options (and if you’ve reached such an advanced size of sex toy, then I trust you to research what materials are safe in the oven on your own). If you think that list sounds suspiciously similar to what you can do to sterilize baby toys, then you’re right! Also, I’ve had a talk with a brand representative from FemmeFunn who assured me that their waterproof vibrators (specifically using the Ultra Bullet, Booster Bullet, and Bougie Bullet as examples) can be boiled to sterilize them. I’d be terrified about voiding the warranty with that, but you can try that if you’re brave enough.
If you think that all that crap sounds like a lot of work (it’s okay, I’m lazy too), then you’ll be happy to know that plenty of toy stores sell cleaners in spray bottles that can also sterilize your toys (just be sure to rinse them off before using them again). Provided you’ve got the budget for it, UV-C sterilizing options are becoming more popular for toys (I own one and throw my phone in there when I think about it for good measure). And honestly, excluding anal toys, warm water and unscented soap are going to be just fine for your regular cleaning. It’s just nice to disinfect things that are going in or near your holes every now and again.
Thankfully, there are many more companies using exclusively body-safe materials than in past decades. Off the top of my head, these companies include Uberrime, Vixen Creations, Tantus, Fuze, New York Toy Collective, Pris Toys, Hankey’s Toys, SquarePegToys, Portland Toy Company, Creature Cocks, FemmeFunn (also includes Shaft, Forto, and LuvInc), Maia Toys, We-Vibe, Womanizer, LELO, Nu Sensuelle, Dame, LeWand, B-Vibe, Je Joue, The Rabbit Company (as far as I have seen), Aneros, Satisfyer (excluding some strokers), VeDO (excluding some strokers), Lovense (excluding some strokers), Swan, Pillow Talk, Fun Factory, Glas, Crystal Delights, Désirables, Njoy, Laid, and NobEssence.
So y’know, A Few.
I’d like to make a shitlist of companies as well, but honestly, most manufacturers are offering some form of silicone toys nowadays along with the regular cheaper options. You just have to know what to look for. Check out the box (especially the fine print), Google what sex toy reviewers have to say about it, feel it up, you’ll start to figure out what to look for. A few blatant red flags are if the toy looks sweaty/oily in the product photos (it will almost certainly be PVC if you see that), if it smells like a new shower curtain (again, PVC), if the toy looks especially shiny or powdery, if some ambiguous “body-safe material” is proudly proclaimed on the packaging, and if it feels rubbery. No official organization in the U.S. is keeping adult toy manufacturers accountable for what information they’re putting on boxes, but as far as I’ve noticed, if you’re not shopping on Amazon/AliExpress/eBay/some shady wholesale site then brands don’t tend to lie about toys being silicone anymore. Even the really gross ones like NassToys.
Okay, NOW you’re allowed to go stick things in your butt or urethra or whatever. Be free.

Red Orange Yellow Green Blue Purple
(For my friends, who endure so many things.)
+
In the night you are dreaming, and in your dream you see someone come out of the sea. They come in glory.
They ride a low wave and alight on the shore. A crack, like glass breaking, when their toe touches sand. Their eyes are shut. Their cheeks are rosy. Their lips curl slight, seeming to smile.
In their right hand: a whole pomelo, skin almost yellow, peeled open like a lotus blossom, the flesh pink and nearly bursting; In their left hand: a keris, blade down, dripping.
Their eyes are shut. Their coat is as satin, and ripple-simmers – a bleeding riot of colours: cherry, coral, gold, grass, sea-blue, plum. Sunshine.
You try to hide behind a boulder on the beach. Their eyes are shut. But you sense you have not left their sight. They see through the stone, and they see through you. There is a star on their brow. It glows like a neon sign of a shop, at night.
+
The next morning you find yourself unable to concentrate.
You forget the handbrake, so the car you are working on slides backwards, down the workshop’s incline – you chase and pull it to a stop before it slides onto the curve of the roundabout.
+
Lunchtime at Soon Heng Coffeeshop is unusually subdued. You sit alone, absently spooning soup. Wholesaler Sim and his brother sit at the table next to yours. They eat in silence. And then:
“Me and Ah Girl had a dream, last night,” Wholesaler Sim says.
“A dream? Me too!” his brother replies.
There is a collective skrrr-retch from the floor as a dozen plastic chairs are turned around, in unison.
“Did you dream about an old man?” Wholesaler Sim asks his brother.
It is Taukeh’s Wife Kim who raises her arm and answers: “I did!”
“He came out of the sea?” Sister Chin says. “I saw him too.”
“A star on his forehead,” Soft Khoo says.
“Who is he?” you ask.
“He is a datuk,” Wholesaler Sim’s brother answers.
“A datuk,” Taukeh’s Wife Kim says. “An admiral. Like the one under the tree, at the roundabout.”
“Clothes the colour of the rainbow,” Soft Khoo says.
“What do we do?” you ask. “I dreamt about him, too.”
Auntie Hong slaps her hand on the table – crack! – a smack that rattles the spoon in your glass of iced barley. “You young people,” she says. “Useless! We already had the dream. Meaning, no choice already! You want the god to be angry?”
“What do we do?” asks Taukeh’s Wife Kim.
“Cannot be helped already,” Auntie Hong says. “Must go and make the god.”
+
The factory waiting room has air-conditioning and faux-leather settees. You stand. The walls are covered with photographs – the god maker posing with priests, government ministers.
“Welcome, welcome,” the god maker says. He is a plump man. Slick-oiled hair. A cellphone clipped to his belt.
He points at a price list. “Nowadays, fibreglass is standard. We have many packages. If yours is a new god I recommend Golden Premium.” He points. “Basic level. And then in a year or two, take the Fortune Premium upgrade package.” He points again.
+
The god maker pulls out a form. “Okay, so. Male or female?”
“Male,” Taukeh’s Wife Kim says – but Soft Khoo says: “Female.”
The god maker looks at one, then the other. “Well,” he says, looking at Soft Khoo. “We do make male-female ones, split vertically down the middle. But that one is in our Hindu range.” He looks at Taukeh’s Wife Kim. “Slightly more expensive.”
“Male is fine,” Wholesaler Sim says.
“Standing?” the god maker asks, and you all nod. “Stepping on?”
“Tiger,” Sister Chin replies.
“Holding?”
“Keris,” Wholesaler Sim says. “And pomelo,” says his brother.
“Hm, no cane? Wearing a songkok?”
“Yes,” you say.
“And a star on the forehead,” Sister Chin says.
The god maker nods, taking notes. “Okay, now, painting. Usually this depends on race. If the god is very Malay, then we paint the clothes green. If Indian, we paint the skin black.”
He looks at Taukeh’s Wife Kim. Taukeh’s Wife Kim just shrugs.
“Clothes must be painted like a rainbow colour,” Soft Khoo says.
“Oh?” the god maker lifts an eyebrow. “Rainbow colour like a Buddhist flag? Blue-yellow-red-white-orange?”
“No,” Wholesaler Sim says. “Rainbow-rainbow. Red-orange-yellow-green-blue-purple.”
+
The god maker scribbles, scribbles, scribbles. Not looking up, he says: “That’s interesting. Never made this kind of god with rainbow colours before.” He cocks his head, theatrical, as if a thought has suddenly come:
“Nowadays rainbows are quite controversial,” he says.
“Controversial?” Auntie Hong asks.
“That LGBT thing,” the god maker says.
“Oh, ya, that gay-gay thing,” Sister Chin says.
“Gay-gay?” Wholesaler Sim says. He elbows Soft Khoo twice. “So your kind of thing, heh?” Soft Khoo glares back, eyes like forge-fired irons. “Sorry,” Wholesaler Sim says.
“Has to be a rainbow colour,” you say.
“But not just rainbow colours,” Soft Khoo says. “His clothes also need to have light blue and pink and white lines.”
The others nod, agreeing. Wholesaler Sim’s brother says: “See? No problem. Adding pink and white means it has nothing to do with the LGBT thing. This is a totally different thing!”
+
In the week after the new god arrives, your workshop gets three visitors.
The first is Uncle Rawa. He sputters up the incline. His engine dies. “My bike,” he says. “Difficulty starting.”
As you detach the spark plug Uncle Rawa lights a cigarette. He waves it at the street, at the fig tree filtering six-o’clock light coming from off the horizon, at the freshly-painted shrine. “Pink. Nice colour. You all just did it?”
You wipe your hand on a sleeve and nod.
“Got a new statue inside?” he asks. You nod.
Uncle Rawa sucks in air and smoke. He comes from across the bridge, from the Malay village. He is a type of shaman, people tell you. Sometimes, he travels into the city; rich people pay him to keep away rain.
“They are guardians,” he says, exhaling. “They keep the soil and the water. Of course, now, we don’t mess with them any more. Not supposed to. It’s wrong, religion-wise. It’s all superstition. Nonsense.”
You blow through the fuel-tank vent more forcefully than you need to.
“My neighbours tell me they have been having dreams,” you hear Uncle Rawa say. You sit up to look at him. He ashes, and watches the sun setting.
You start the bike, twist the throttle; the engine roars then grumbles. “The vent was getting clogged,” you say. “No more problem.”
“Thank you,” Uncle Rawa says. “For painting the colours.”
+
The second visitor drives a luxury mini – never before encountered, here, so some of the local boys stop to gawk.
The driver is a man in sunglasses. “On a road trip, driving trunk roads down the Peninsula. Good luck all the way. Then, today, flat tyre.
“Baby, baby!” his girlfriend shouts, in English. “Come, come!”
She has wandered across the street, into the shade of the tree. They inspect the shrine – the oranges and betel nuts and the palm-leaf cigarettes; the beef rendang Sister Chin left under a red plastic food cover, against flies.
“Oh my god!” he says.
“Right? Right?” his girlfriend says.
They pose with the shrine, three seconds still for his phone camera. And then – “Now again, just me,” he says. He stands in front of the altar, claps his head between his two hands, mouth frozen open in a look of mock-surprise.
You see his face again, two days later, on social media, in a post shared by the Oriental Press. His eyes are round, his teeth white. Behind him is the shrine’s new god, bright with new colour.
The accompanying caption reads: “OMG LGBT DATUK KONG!”
The small counter at the bottom right corner tells you his post has 17.4K shares.
+
The third visitor is a reporter from the Oriental Press: glasses, wide smile designed to disarm; quick-stepping, press tag out; hungry-looking.
“Excuse me, mister,” she says. “Please mister may I ask you – ”
“No comment,” you answer.
But her colleague is older,  maybe quicker to sniff out vulnerable targets. Because there he goes, trotting after Soft Khoo, who is trying to get away. “No comment,” Soft Khoo says.
“Mister, what is your response to people saying that this is the one of the covert strategies LGBT groups use to promote their lifestyle, their agenda?”
“Hey,” says Taukeh’s Wife Kim, chasing after. “Hey!”
“Mister, what is your response?”
Taukeh’s Wife Kim grabs the reporter’s arm. “Hey!” she says. “Don’t disturb him!”
“Mister – ”
“Don’t disturb him, you understand?” Taukeh’s Wife Kim says. “Ask me! I have a response. My response is this. Nobody here has anything to do with LGBT groups. With gay-gays. Okay?”
The reporter from the Oriental Press has his notebook out. His colleague runs over, her camera set to record. Both are trained on Taukeh’s Wife Kim.
She is screaming, loud as only taukeh’s wives can get. “Those people don’t know what they are talking about,” she says. “This is our place. Our god. Go away! Leave us alone! Don’t come here, making these accusations!”
+
Soft Khoo is true to his nickname. Afterwards you find him sitting on a step in the back alley, crying. You sit beside him.
You wait. Gradually, sniffing, hiccuping, he stops. “It’s not so bad,” you say.
“It will get worse,” he says. And you don’t know what to say to that, so you put your arm around his shoulder.
+
That night, Soft Khoo snoring beside you, finally you fall asleep. And you dream. In your dream you see someone come out of the sea.
They come in glory. Their coat is satin: billowy sails, gourami’s fins, a flag. Ruby and tangerine, saffron and jade, azure and amaranthine.
A white star, glowing. Their eyes are shut. Their lips are ruby. Cheeks full, blowing the whipping wind. Surfing a tidal wave to smash the shore. A crash, like tree-shattering lightning. The sand turns solid. Cracked concrete.
Their eyes are shut. You sense their attention, piercing through you. This time, you cannot cower. What would be the point? You step out, from behind the boulder. You bow. Fall to your knees.
In their right hand: a single egg, see-through like a heated cannonball, swirling with molten matter; In their left hand: a keris, blade down, gory.
You lift your chin. They touch the tip of their blade to your forehead. It burns, their dagger. You feel pride, approval. Piercing anger. Tenderness. Fierce tenderness.
+
(From an idea by Sharon Chin: A Datuk Kong for queer people, of and from the land; little shrines in this corner or that; seeded so deep they cannot be dug out; who the bigots fear, because you cannot mess with spirits and expect to get off easy.
She might have actually dreamt it.)

[production flow chart] - internal work
rattan furniture maintenance
1. In addition to the fine craftsmanship of rattan furniture, the most important thing is to check whether rattan chair material is excellent. If the surface of rattan is wrinkled, it means that the furniture is made of young rattan, with poor toughness, low strength, easy to break and corrosion. Besides the rattan from Yunnan, many rattan materials come from Indonesia, Malaysia and other Southeast Asian countries. These rattan materials are hard with the same head and tail thickness.
2. You can grasp the edge of rattan furniture with both hands and shake it gently to feel whether the frame is stable.
3. Brush the surface of the furniture with your hand. If it's smooth, it's right if you don't tie your hand.
4. See if the luster of the furniture surface is even, and if there are spots, discoloration and moth marks.
5. When using and storing, do not make it contact and close to the fire source and heat source, and do not expose to the sun for a long time; otherwise, it is easy to deform, bend, crack, loosen and detach.
6. Wipe furniture with light salt water, which can decontaminate, keep its flexibility for a long time, and also have a certain effect of anti brittle and anti moth.
7. Rattan furniture is most afraid of dust, not easy to clean, usually the surface dust can be moistened with a soft cloth. The dust between the gaps shall be cleaned with paint brush or vacuum cleaner. Do not use detergent or solvent which can damage the surface of rattan furniture. Avoid washing with water and direct exposure to the sun to avoid losing the elasticity and light of rattan furnitureCan make your bedroom exude both rural and avant-garde atmosphere, but if you do not pay attention to maintenance, rattan furniture may reduce life by one-third to two-thirds, so mastering some maintenance tips is essential.
avoid direct sunlight
ultraviolet rays in the sun will make the rattan brittle, long-term sunlight will make the white rattan furniture yellow, make the tan red and bright rattan furniture fade locally, and make the expensive bamboo rattan furniture dry, loose and detached. Therefore, it is very important to avoid direct sunlight in spring, summer and autumn. Might as well use translucent white gauze curtain to separate direct sunlight, protect rattan furniture at the same time, do not affect indoor lighting.
avoid being close to the fire source and heat source in the north, the heating radiator in winter is the enemy of rattan furniture. If the rattan seat is placed close to the radiator, about a month later, it will be found that the rattan near the position has long been dry and brittle, the toughness has become poor, and it is difficult to recover after sitting; some parts adhered with natural glue will fall far away. Therefore, remember that rattan products should not be close to the fire source and heat source. If you want to put hot pot, casserole and other very hot food on the rattan dining table, you must remember to put on the insulation pad.
keep the ventilation
the cross-section of rattan is full of fine ducts, so rattan furniture can absorb a certain amount of water. But if adsorbed too much moisture, furniture will become soft, loose structure, plane droop, and easy to breed mildew in woven mesh eyes. Therefore, if in the south, especially in the rainy season, the ventilation of rattan furniture is particularly important. On a sunny day, it's better to clean the furniture and move it thereTo "blow" in a draught place can avoid mildew and keep dry. Never ask for "dry" heartache, and lift it to the place where the sun is direct. In contrast, the cane is easy to deform or even break quickly.
to avoid moisture deformation
it is better to follow the principle of heavy on both sides and light in the middle, so that the weight of books can be placed symmetrically on the left and right, so as to prevent the bookcase from sagging and deformation due to moisture in the middle. The advantage of rattan furniture is that it will be fixed to its original shape after being affected with damp and deformation, and it will still return to its original shape and size after being dried or dried in the shade. Therefore, when the rattan furniture is wet and sagging, we should try to reduce its load and support it skillfully and evenly, so as to keep the original weaving shape and prevent the gap from deformation. If it is a seat, it can be inserted into the square stool or storage box under the rattan surface to help support the rattan surface and make it dry slowly without deformation.
moth proof
what to do when there are signs of local moth in rattan furniture? Pepper noodles or capsicum noodles can be insecticidal and mothproof, and have no damage to rattan. Stir fry and grind half two prickly ash and half two fine salt together, put them into the borer hole, and then wrap the borer face with plastic cloth or small plastic bag to keep the smell from leaking. It's the same way to use chili noodles. After the moth eaten surface is sealed for 24 hours, untie the plastic cloth, locally flush the moth eaten surface with boiled water, and kill all the remaining moths. Finally, dry with a soft towel to prevent the spread of moth.
● jieteng has a secret recipe
because rattan furniture is particularly susceptible to moisture and deformationNever "wash"! Once the "washing" is over, there will be a certain water storage force in the mesh depth of rattan furniture. The expansion force brought by humidity will support the mesh surface of furniture and make it droop. Therefore, we must be careful in cleaning rattan furniture.
△ it's best to use a small vacuum cleaner and a brush to remove the dust. The rattan furniture of primary color is loved by people with the temperament of "back to basics", but it's easy to accumulate dirt when it's not painted. Remember not to wipe back and forth with a wet rag when cleaning. You will find that the only function of the wet rag is to turn the dry dust into a big flower like stain and make it firmly stick to the cane because of the lack of protection of the paint surface. So it is the first step to use a vacuum cleaner or dry towel to dust from inside to outside. You can also use a clean broom, feather duster, brush, etc. The small manual vacuum cleaner (vacuum brush) can not only remove the floating ash on the coat, clean the fabric sofa, but also clean the dust on the net of rattan furniture. In addition, you can also use an abandoned brush to do a thorough dust removal, from the inside to the outside to remove the dust in the eyes of the net. Pay attention to different rattan materials, different specifications of mesh better use different texture, model of brush. For example, the white rattan <a href="https://www.sunmasterpatio.com/wa-5228.html">poolside bed</a> is soft, and it's best to use the pen as a brush, while the red rattan and the bamboo rattan are hard, so it's recommended to use the pen. After the dust is removed, wipe it with a slightly wet (three part wet) cloth. After it is naturally dried, polish the outer surface of rattan furniture with sandpaper, rub off the stains on the surface and restore the smoothness. Finally, apply a layer of varnish and dry it in the shade to make it fresh.
△ self made hard cleanerIf there is a lot of scale in rattan furniture, which mixes with the oil sweat secreted by the human body, and it is hard to clean it when it is deposited in the depth of the net surface, we may need a stronger brush and removal tool than the brush. We might as well cut off the roots of the toothed brush in front of it and turn it into a small brush with a more <a href="https://www.sunmasterpatio.com/china-outdoor-antique-vintage-loft-industrial-retro-aluminium-arm-cafe-fast-food-restaurant-chair-sm-816-3.html">coffee shop furniture suppliers</a> concentrated cluster of hair. It can also cut the hard hair of the paint brush into half a small brush, shaped like a nail brush with nail polish, and it is also a tool to handle the dirt deposited in the mesh. You can also choose the old wicker which is a little straight, remove the willow leaves, turn it in the pencil sharpener, sharpen one end of it, and use it to remove the filth embedded in the rattan furniture. It will not hurt the rattan, and it is very handy. Because the hardness of willow and rattan is very close, willow is slightly softer than rattan, so it will not hurt the luster of rattan furniture surface.
△ even if the stain is heavy, the cleaner should be carefully selected
do not use the cleaning solvent that can damage the surface of rattan furniture, because this will make the rattan furniture dark. The residual cleaning solvent adheres to the concave part of the mesh surface, just like wearing a "plastic coat" to the cane, which hinders its normal breathing, increases its brittleness and decreases its flexibility. The most effective detergent is pure natural light salt water. After using rattan furniture for a period of time, dip in a small amount of light salt water to wipe it, which can not only decontaminate but also maintain its flexibility, as well as prevent brittle crack and moth. Use a brush or brush dipped in baking soda, soapy water or trisodium phosphate solution, which can also help to remove the stubborn scale. It is better to dry wipe it twice at last, and the stain can be completely removed. ifIt's white rattan table, tea table and rattan chair. After cleaning with soap water, bicarbonate water or Sanna phosphate solution as cleaning agent, remember to dip a brush lightly in white vinegar, which can prevent the alkaline cleaning agent from remaining on the white rattan furniture and make it yellow and discolored.
due to the particularity of furniture, delivery, transportation and sign in are different from general products. Please read the instructions carefully before purchase. Thank you for your cooperation!

5 Questions with Michelle from Telulinen
The collection at Telulinen is beautiful simplicity, so pure and natural. It has us feeling quality family time and appreciating the little things. Reading the story of founder Michelle, it all makes sense. We so enjoyed reading her answers to our 5 questions and getting to know more about her! Read along to find out more about her business and where she gathers inspiration.
1. Please tell us a little bit about yourself, where you live and about your family.
I was born on a farm, the third of four girls, in South Africa. My parents created a wholesome wonderland for us. We had big vegetable gardens, workers spinning wool, grannies knitting popcorn sweaters, lots of pets, and lots of time spent on the grass learning cartwheels from my mom and holding running races with my dad.
My mom left her job as state prosecutor to raise us, and her passions led her to start what was probably the root of all my and my sisters’ loves in life. She believed that if you teach a woman a skill a whole family would benefit. This is especially true in Third World countries where single moms are very common.
My Dad contracted a German master weaver for her, bought some Angora goats, and she started a weavery making natural fibre carpets on our farm. She employed each of the unemployed women on our farm, and later more. Within the first year the weavery was more profitable than the farm and my parents both committed to the passion full time.
In the following three decades the business evolved to encompass many other products. They produce white label products for many big brands around the world to this day.
I met my husband whilst doing an accounting degree in Stellenbosch. It took me quite a bit longer to finish in the end, preoccupied as I was with falling in love!
His job took us traveling all around Europe for some years, and I was lucky enough to fill my days strolling the streets and getting wonderfully lost. To this day, I am inspired by those scenes and by the solitude.
We started spending more time in USA from 2012, the year our lives became complete when we met our first child Tehila.
Fast forward to 2017; we decided to take up our Greencards and move to the US permanently.
2. Tell us a little bit about your brand and how you came to create your label.
Telu creates luxury linen essentials for everyday living. I created my brand as an attempt to connect all that is in my sweet past with all that is in our future. My kids names Tehila and Lukas inspired the name. My parents and their factories’ capacities and abilities helped define my range.
3. What is important to you when designing and producing your products?
I love natural fibres: linen, wool, mohair, cotton, silk. These have worked through the ages and it just feels good.
My mom dries her Linen on her rosemary hedge. Linen is what you sleep under in their house; it’s what babies messes are wiped up with, what they are bundled into for a nap. My dad’s mohair blankets adorn every bed and couch and if a breeze settles in all the kids snuggle under it.
We have really lived in the products.
Producing more than the simple bedding range I started off with has proven a great joy. The bonnets are a favourite; they’re what we wore as kiddos too. That and the wool sweaters – so in vogue – are styles I’m sure all the late 70, early 80’s kids can relate to.
Tehila has taken a great interest in the business bearing her name and often brings me sketches for ideas, or little things she’s sewn. Lukas is more than happy to test-drive anything that gets him to snooze on my chest.
4. How do you juggle motherhood and your career?
We have only really been operating for a few months, although of course we have the decades-strong legs of my parents manufacturing facilities. I’m still adjusting and finding my feet. However, what has been amazing is the affirmation from every person who has held the product in his or her hands.
The online community of mom entrepreneurs has caught me very pleasantly surprised. I am learning every day the science that is online marketing, having found other moms willing to share and soundboard has turned out to be a necessity.
I do a lot of online reading and courses, which is difficult to do when the little ones are not used to my giving so much attention in another direction. But they, too, have pleasantly surprised me – with their excitement when we pack an order, their pride in the stickers bearing their names, and their grace with me finding my feet in a world so new to me
5. What’s next for Telulinen?
In the future I would like to harness the skills of other designers and makers in South Africa. As far as manufacturing goes, I don’t think international brands know how reliable and accessible South African factories can be. There are also many beneficial trade agreements in place to consider.
Since my focus is wholesale as well as retail, I understand what is needed to make it all work. Having lived most of my life in SA, I do have a lot of lovely connections there.
I hope that all who utilise our products will feel the history in them; the love of three generations poured into each piece.
