🖤Before Silver and Elinor went their separate ways, they loved each other with every fiber of their being.

🏴‍☠️After coming back from a voyage on a navy ship, Silver returned to his home planet. As he was searching through the market, he noticed a lady ursid working at a mechanic's shop. Immediately, he fell in love with her at first sight. Silver using his charm, asked her out on a date.

💚Elinor didn't fall in love with Silver right away because she only saw him as another ursid trying to smash. Although she did go on a date with him to humor him. It isn't until the moment her life was in danger was it when she realized she was truly in love with him. Elinor fell through an ice lake after not realizing the ice was thin. She could've drowned that day if it weren't for Silver nearly risking his own life as well to save her. Elinor ended up repaying him that night with a kiss and another date.

🖤After that incident, the two went on a few more dates. Getting to know each other more, little by little. As well as falling more in love with each other little by little. Then, the two finally decided to declare themselves a couple. (Nothing says like nearly dying is a great way to led into a relationship.)

🏴‍☠️Silver wasn't exactly the richest man since he barely made enough for himself to get by. Although, he would often get Elinor small gifts. Like flowers or small trinkets with value to her.

💚Elinor knew of Silver's financial situation, which made her appreciate the gifts even more because he was willing to get her something despite his situation. In response, she'd pamper him with lots of kisses and loving.

🖤A year into their relationship, they decided to move in together. Their house was relatively small and a but cramped at times but it was home.

🏴‍☠️ Unfortunately, Silver would have to leave most of the time. The only way he was able to make money was by being a gunner for the navy. So, he'd have to depart from his lover for a few months.

💚Elinor would be incredibly patient for his return. She'd long for him and wished he'd return sooner. Elinor would count the minutes passing by, awaiting her lover to return. At the same time, a few ursids would try to flirt with or court her but she'd always reject their advances. It was tempting but she knew it would be worth the wait when Silver would eventually return.

🖤It was always a special moment when Silver would return. Elinor would immediately embrace him and pepper his face in kisses as Silver would happily return the affection.

🏴‍☠️Silver loved to cook for Elinor. Nothing like seeing a satisfying look on her face as she's trying his food makes him happy. After Elinor would come back from a long day at work, there Silver would be with the table set with dinner.

💚 Despite Silver's soft protesting, Elinor would helping him during the cooking. She didn't want him to being do it all by himself now or what type of awful lover would she be? Sure, she was busy fixing machinery all day and didn't get a chance to have a break, but by god was she not gonna let him do all that work by himself.

🖤 A song the two liked to sing often was "the Dancing and the dreaming." It spoke to them in a way no other song would.

🏴‍☠️Their date nights mostly consisted of them having a picnic and enjoying watching the stars. Silver would always coax Elinor into playing a little game with him. Whoever could name the most star constellations would win. Elinor would often be annoyed with playing the game because she'd always lose. Yet, still played to make him happy.

💚Elinor loved giving Silver embarrassing nicknames. Especially in public. She'd refer to him as "teddy bear" or "cutie pie". This would rightfully embarrass Silver as he'd br talking to a couple of other ursids and all of a sudden his lover from heaven would call him "stud muffin". Of course he'd get his revenge by doing the exact same thing to her.

🖤 As happy as their relationship may have been, they clearly both wanted different things in life.

🏴‍☠️Silver was tired of living in poverty and nearly breaking his back out on the navy. He decided to fulfill his dream of finding Flint's trove and taking all the treasure.

💚 Meanwhile, Elinor wanted nothing more than to travel the etherium before marrying her lover, settling down, and having many, many children. She didn't think they were living in poverty considering they made enough to get by.

🖤 At first, Elinor would play off his desire to find treasure planet as a joke. Yet, soon enough she started to get worried. Silver would often end up being out late or staying up late at times. He wouldn't spend as much time with her as he used to. Things weren't too perfect on Elinor's end either as she began to fall into a toxic friendship.

🏴‍☠️When Elinor arrived to their home, Silver tried to convince her to joining him into becoming a pirate. That they could earn all riches they want and being able to make part of her dream come true by traveling the eitherium.

💚Just as Elinor was going to say yes, Silver added that this was all for finding treasure planet. Which caused Elinor to blow up at him.

🖤They two got into an argument like no other that they've ever had in their entire relationship. Elinor didn't want to waste her life finding some place that didn't even exist. Silver retorted that he didn't want to waste his life with her dream that wouldn't even come true. They separated that exact same day with Silver leaving on a pirate ship and Elinor crying her eyes out inside the home they once shared.
