Okay, so I've finished the first volume of Usagi Yojimbo, already reading the second, and I'm enjoying myself so far.

Speaking in regards to the TMNT 2003 version, I can see why a lot of people say that version of Usagi is actually supposed to be a teenager around the same age as the turtles? Because I'm currently reading the flashback chapters where Usagi is telling Gen about his days training to become a samurai, and I just got to a chapter where he's dressed VERY similarly to how he's depicted in the 2003 series.

Unfortunately, if 2003!Usagi is supposed to be a teenager around the same age the turtles in TMNT 2003... this is gonna sound weird, but I actually consider that a downgrade? And it's for the pettiest reason imaginable.

Usagi is regularly depicted as drinking sake in Usagi Yojimbo. I want him to drink booze with Casey, April, and Splinter.
