pairing: bts x reader ; kim namjoon x reader fandom: bts warnings: non idol!au ; historical!au ; princes!bts ; concubine!reader ; sex ; impregnation kink (they all have that at this point lol) genre: smut ; fluff ; angst word count: 2.4k+ previous: 1 ; 2 ; 3 ; 4 ; 5 ; 6 ; 7 ; 8
summary: even in times such as yours, you still led a privileged life with nothing to ask for. that is until first your father, then your mother died and you were left to care for your two younger sisters. the position for royal physician seemed to be open and with your father having been a general and your mother having been a maid for the queen, you thought you might be able to get it.. little did you know that your visit to the palace would put a completely different offer on the table.
a/n: it’s getting teeeeeense here!
The secret you've been trying to hide from the queen so desperately, exposed by one of the princes and so... casually. You were staring at Namjoon with shock and that seemed to amuse him more than anything.
“Don't worry. I won't tell, I know you've been taking them so that my big brother can be the one to impregnate you,” Namjoon said and you instantly let out a sigh of relief, that you quickly hid by gulping down. That wasn't at all what you were taking it for, but you'd rather have him believe this than know the truth, “And I think it's good, it let’s my brothers have their share and feel special.”
“But then why even bring this up?”
“It's not common knowledge that these herbs prevent pregnancies. I only know about it because I've buried my nose in books all my life. So that makes me wonder... how do you know?”
Would this be your chance to finally tell him about it? The fact that you were not actually a concubine, but a physician? Would this finally be over? But if you told him the truth, what would happen? What if he didn’t like it and then, if worse came to worse, killed you for treason?
You knew your time was running out and you had to finally come clean... to somebody. But would Namjoon really be the right choice?
“Well... my mother and father, they...-
But without knocking, someone slid open the door and your instincts kicked in, too afraid that whoever this was had heard what you had said and would then force you to go on.
This wasn’t something the wrong person should hear.
So you grabbed Namjoon's shirt and pulled him towards you, kissing him deeply.
“Oh.. I'm... sorry,” another physician instantly bowed a few times, but Namjoon was already gone, immediately kissing you back.
False alarm, but by the time she was gone, you realized that you had already pushed Namjoon over the edge, his eyes full of lust.
Not really what you had in mind....
“We'll have this discussion later... promise me,” he whispered against your lips and you nodded, but inside, you shook your head.
He wasn’t the right one for this. Prince Namjoon was the smartest of the princes, but he was also one of the most intimidating ones. You had such a heard time reading him, no idea how he would react to the news once he heard it.
So, it was still only prince Seokjin or the king himself.
You knew you could use his lust to your advantage and make him forget about what you had just said for now, pulled him between your legs on the mattress that was on the floor and grinned.
There wasn't much foreplay involved, despite you having thought that he'd be one of the few that would actually like it, but maybe he was just too excited now, because when he pulled down his pants, his dick immediately sprang up.
“Are you sure?” still, stuff like this made you happy. He probably meant because of what happened earlier with the queen, but you felt safe with him now, when he didn’t know your secrets.
Namjoon still leaned down and kissed you, a lot more gentle than what you had expected. His dick was sliding through your folds, entering you effortlessly within minutes because of how wet you got.
But then again... this man looked like a god on top of you. Who could blame you for that?
“How hard do you want me to go?” he whispered against your lips, only moving ever so slightly on top of you.
“You're the prince,” you brushed your hand through his hair, the other you grabbed his butt with, “Take me in whatever way you want.”
In a different situation he maybe would have taken his time, but Namjoon was so ready to do just that, that he got up on his knees and pushed your legs back, beginning to fuck you mercilessly.
The duality.
His eyes never left yours though, if he had seen just a slight flicker of discomfort, he would have stopped.
All he could see, however, was you biting down on your lip, trying not to scream from pleasure when he pushed your legs further back and hit the spot inside you, that made you see stars.
So that was a good sign.
He let go of your legs, only so that he could lean down and whisper in your ear once more.
“These herbs are great, you know?” he chuckled, his next thrust so deep that you did scream, “But I read that they don't always work...”
You were breathing heavily when he looked at you, confusion written all over your face.
“I can't help but wonder.. what it would be like.. to see you carrying my child.”
You didn't know what kind of books he read, but that was the moment that you realized that you indeed were smarter than him. Thankfully.
You grinned, “Why don't you try?”
Namjoon licked his lips and immediately pulled out, turning you around and then your ass towards him, so that you were now on all fours.
He fucked you from behind, as hard as before, his fingers digging into the skin of your hips.
Despite you knowing that his plan would fail, you didn't complain, not when he once again found that spot within you that made you scream unintentionally.
And to your surprise, when you screamed your final scream, so did Namjoon. He timed it perfectly and spilled himself inside you, filled you to the brim just like he wanted to. And he really made sure that not a single drip of his seed left your body.
Once he was convinced, he gently pushed your upper body down and pulled out of you.
“Stay like this for a few minutes. You'll be with my child soon, beautiful.”
Damn, you really needed to become the royal physician... who the heck told him that this would work?
“Of course, my prince,” you said nevertheless, needing to get on the prince’s good side no matter what.
The king was having dinner with his family later that night, pushing his food around on his plate, before finally looking up at his sons, more specifically at Hoseok, “I heard your concubine gave birth to a girl. Why not a boy?”
“His seed just isn't good quality,” Namjoon joked, making Hoseok get up and ready to fight him, but Jimin instantly pulled his big brother back down.
“What about you, then? Heard you fucked our favorite concubine today? One of the guards said you wanted to get her pregnant.”
That made the room turn quiet instantly, the king narrowing his eyes at Namjoon, “(Y/N)?”
Namjoon became smaller and smaller, but then he said: “Yoongi hyung, Jimin and Taehyung tried too!”
“Hey!” all three of them instantly started arguing that that was not true, in the meantime, Seokjin was sitting at the other end of the table, looking miserable as he forced himself to eat.
The king noticed, but didn't say anything for now. He let his boys argue this out and then disappeared relatively soon, only to ask for his oldest son in his chambers later on.
“You wanted to see me, father?” Seokjin bowed, then knelt down before his father.
“Am I under the right impression that all six of your brothers have had their share with this concubine (Y/N)... all but you?”
Seokjin lowered his head, but then he nodded, “I wanted them to spend time with her first. Since I'm going to be... you know.”
“The father of the future heir that she will have.”
Ah, great. All his responsibilities summed up in one sentence.
“Yes,” he said simply.
“Well, all six of them have had their fun. Now it's time for you to do your duties. I've arranged for her to come to your room tonight. I want you to finally do what you're supposed to do and give this kingdom a prince that will eventually become king.”
“Tonight?” Seokjin stuttered, “But... but Namjoon and her, they..-”
“Tonight, Seokjin. Every day you waste is another day less that this kingdom has a new heir.”
“But father, I don't think that we should..-”
“You dare to talk back to me?” with the way his voice got louder, Seokjin immediately flinched and shook his head, getting up and bowing a few times, way too afraid of his father to say anything else that would undermine his authority.
“I will do what is required of me. I promise you.”
But the moment he was out in the hallway, he felt like crying.

Let’s talk: RUN episode 130
by Admin 1
A week has passed and it’s time for the continuation of last weeks tennis episode, this time with BTS coming together on a tennis court to decide who the BTS Tennis Champion is, excluding Yoongi who was the MC and umpire due to his shoulder. He was joined by one of the coaches who’d previously given the members lessons at the club we’ve seen them at in last weeks episode.
Before I truly get into it, and let me tell you, for those who haven’t seen the episode yet but are still reading this anyway (thank you so much for that), there is a lot to get into. Especially when it comes to vmin. It was a feast this week, I can tell you that much (so fellow vminnies prepare yourself to get annoyed and upset with you know who again this week as is tradition whenever we get a lot of vmin, am I being shady/petty?). But the other members were comedic gold as well, especially Yoongi with his amazing commentary, and fellow namjinists, we got a few nice things as well.
Funny thing is about an hour after the episode went live, the following ask appeared in our inbox and, at this point, I hadn’t seen the episode yet so reading this made me giggle but also very curious to see what exactly even happened that led to Jimin carrying Tae, as well as how Jimin did that since I immediately thought back to that moment at MAMA 2019 where he tried yet failed to lift Tae.
From anon: Tonight's Run episode. Omg. When JM carried Tae and pretended to give him mouth to mouth, Tae gay panicked and said 'Hold on!' and swiftly got up and went back to the court. I cannot with these two. 😂It's always like someone is brave and then the other one panics. Come on VMIN you can both be brave hahahaha
But lets start...at the beginning (and make yourself comfortable because this ended up being a truly long one, also spoilers for who the winner is will be marked):
The episode opens with the members reminding themselves (and the viewer) why they are on that court again (as well as Hobi playing so much with his racket that he ends up dropping it, aww) and also letting us know that a solid 3-5 months have passed since the previous episode was filmed. Furthermore they talk about how, due to their schedules, they didn’t really have time for practice (as in they basically conclude they were bad at keeping up with this project and mostly merely went to practice once while Yoongi commented how they probably should’ve chosen something a little more approachable with a schedule like theirs), seeing as in the meantime Dynamite was released and they also had MOTS ON:E to practice for and perform. I do love how the editors flexed Dynamite’s BBHot100 longevity in the subtitles.
Since the members all spoke toward the center, mostly turned around toward Jimin and Yoongi, Seokjin commented how they should also talk toward him, which Tae took as funny invitation to stand exceptionally close to Seokjin making him laugh with a big smile on his face. When I tell you I adore their dynamic and bond, I truly mean it.
Yoongi is announced as MC and joined by Coach Kim, to whom the members apologize for forgetting everything he taught them. Next they move along to explaining the “rules” which basically ends with none of the rules actually being explained and the members making jokes about how headshots are against the rules. Then the order and pairings for the starting matches are chosen by chance by Yoongi and Coach Kim, though Hobi and Seokjin are separated so they won’t end up playing against each other since Hobi is the only one with past experience while Seokjin was the only one who actually went to practice four times between last episode and this one.
While that’s happening, we get a wide shot of the court and the RUN crew giving us once again an idea of just how many people are involved to film these episodes and how many pairs of eyes are watching them. (this is something some people truly should remind themselves of more often when coming up with...theories.)
The order is decided as Hobi vs JK, Namjoon vs Tae (can we please talk about how, when Namjoon is pulled as Tae’s opponent, Seokjin quietly comments how he wanted to play against Namjoon? Cute!), and Jimin vs Seokjin. After the pairs are decided there’s this small hilarious moment where Seokjin stands a little further back and pulls out his phone and is promptly snitched on my Yoongi. In his defense Seokjin says that his dad was calling him so it was a completely valid reason to check while the other members complain about him having brought in his phone at all. Namjoon even tells him that he shouldn’t use his dad as excuse to which Seokjin challenges him if he should show him his phone as proof.
Then, finally, the matches begin. Yoongi and Coach Kim settle behind their umpire desk while Namjoon and Seokjin sit in the stands behind them to the left, thus on JKs side, and Jimin and Tae on the right, thus on Hobi’s. Who starts the match is decided in good old BTS fashion with rock-paper-scissors and we are treated to Yoongi calling Hobi a dummy which had me howling with laughter.
We also get chaos immediately as Tae pretends to be the ball boy on JKs side, though quickly gives up his job and returns to his place. All signs point toward Tae being in a fantastic, comedic mood once again. We love to see it. As the match is happening, Yoongi comments on how it’s actually surprisingly fun to watch, with which Namjoon agrees (and so do I). They all get so into it making it double fun to watch and even easier to cheer along and get emotionally invested in what’s happening on screen.
During the second half of JKs match with Hobi, Tae asks Coach Kim what kind of player JK is to which he replies that he’s a passionate one, and upon prompting clarifies that JK always stayed longer after practice to practice some more. That certainly sounds very much like JK, and fits with what we’ve seen in the previous episode. Despite that Hobi wins the match!
Next up is Namjoon against Tae. Jimin playfully takes up the role of Tae’s coach, hands him a bottle of water and carries his racket while Tae ties his shoes and then approaches the net for rock-paper-scissors. Upon seeing their shenanigans, Seokjin jumps in as Namjoon’s coach, making sure he has spare balls and that he actually goes to the net as well.
Before the match even begins we get Namjoon asking first Seokjin, who says he doesn’t know, and then Coach Kim if he’s even holding the racket properly which Yoongi comments upon saying he’s holding it the way you would a knife while cooking. Honestly Yoongi is on fire this episode with funny commentary. Then as they get to rock-paper-scissors, Tae as the most endearing human ever asks upon his angels (with Yoongi asking the editors to add in actual angel graphics for his sequence) to help him win, which he does. He gets to start off the match.
Namjoon is certainly the funniest tennis player among the members adding in little hops and spins making everyone laugh so, so much. Coach Kim comments upon how, because Namjoon was so busy, he didn’t get to learn how to do backhand and thus only knows how to do forehand (please don’t ask me what that means and what kind of effect that has because I have no clue). Speaking of laughter, at some point Seokjin is laughing so much and so hard Hobi turns to him and asks “why are you so happy?” but we never get an answer. Interestingly enough, as they announce a serve change, so Tae serving instead, Seokjin immediately stops laughing and looks focused again.
Also at some point they realize that Namjoon was playing with someone else’s racket, leading to Namjoon switching to his actual one, while Coach Kim says that Namjoon had left his racket at their gym which Seokjin comments by saying “that’s Namjoon”. We’re also treated to Nam-derer (Namjoon + Federer) and Tae-kovic (Taehyung + Djokovic) by Seokjin. Honestly, extra points for creativity. The match ends with Namjoon losing, ending up at the net and immediately being ready to bump elbows with Tae accepting his defeat. Absolutely hilarious match!
Next up is Seokjin against Jimin and it starts with Seokjin promptly loosing three points one after the other with the other members commenting that tennis is a mind game and Jimin’s mind is good. Jimin loses the next point, thus the members idea of Jimin potentially winning a “perfect game” (without Seokjin getting any points) is gone. Although it’s meant teasingly, this is still really cute:
Upon being prompted by Namjoon to bring out his (Jimin’s) true tennis skills, the game turns around and Seokjin goes into the lead. Soon thereafter the score is 5 for Jimin and 9 for Seokjin which leads to Tae calling out the score to Jimin (saying Jiminie) as 5959 which apparently is both a lucky number and phonetically similar to something you’d say in a cutesy way to a child or someone you love in Korean, and on top of that it’s also 9595 backward. Unfortunately all that soulmate luck doesn’t help since Jimin still ends up losing the match.
Next up is Hobi against Tae with Hobi “teasing” Tae by claiming that he’s certain Tae will win. The match starts off with Hobi winning twice but Tae gets into it soon enough and they actually manage to get a few rallies going, as well as Coach Kim commenting on how you can tell that Hobi has prior training. As they reach 6:7 for Tae, Jimin and Namjoon start chanting KIM TAEHYUNG, with Jimin, Seokjin and Jungkook also doing some additional “cheerleader” moves. Very sweet and supportive! Look at their smiles, look at Jimin’s smile! He does that a few more times as Tae wins more points.
Then we get to the moment that had everyone, vminnies and non-vminnies alike, in absolute shambles: Tae hurts himself (though I’m still not 100% certain if it was a joke or he actually hurt himself even if just a bit) and falls to the ground, Yoongi rushes in with a big smile while calling for a medic and Jimin runs over saying he’ll carry Tae. Which he does, just like anon said. Look at him! How is it possible that somehow Tae turns so smol whenever he’s in Jimin’s arms? Also just how strong, exactly, is Jimin that he can just pick up Tae like that despite Tae being taller, and therefore also surely a little heavier than Jimin?
Also can we please talk about how Tae hooks his arms around Jimin, how he nestled his head against him, and also about that barely visible (from our angle and due to Jimin’s shoulder) smile on Tae face as he’s being carried? And also Namjoon’s face. Of course he’s there as well because what would be a vmin scene if Namjoon wouldn’t be there as well haha.
That’s still not everything (truly this episode is a gift that keeps on giving) since Jimin puts down Tae on the stands and proceeds to give him pretend CPR and acts like he wants to also give him mouth-to-mouth which makes Tae giggle/laugh, but not just any laugh, it’s his Jiminie laugh. Catch me crying. After that Tae gets up and ends up winning the match giving us the following (it’s not too visible in the gif but my heart melts at Jimin’s happy/fond smile):
And thus the final match is Kim vs Kim, place your bets now before continuing on. I do love how seriously Jimin is taking his “coach” job as he once again stands by Tae’s side before the match begins and carries his racket.
Since this is already getting outrageously long (and there are still 16 minutes left) I’ll just mention a few highlights instead of a detailed commentary. Also, if you don’t want to know who wins, I’d recommend skipping this part. I’ll add a bold Match Over at the end so just scroll until you see that.
Tae and Seokjin tease each other which Seokjin delivering the following line “I’ll prove that the underdog can’t make it to the top”.
Tae fails his first attempt at a serve, but upon second try, wins his first point.
Tae asks for more balls so he can keep some in his pockets which is commented by JK as Tae being greedy for balls because his mom didn’t buy him the toys he wanted as a kid. Another member, though I can’t for the life of me figure out which, asks what he’s talking about, and then Namjoon puts an end to the antics.
Seokjin rolls up his sleeves (things are getting serious serious) and Namjoon wishes him good luck (we love a supportive leaderbf). This is followed by Namjoon wondering if Seokjin is Shapovalov and Seokjin wins the point.
Seokjin wins the first set and they switch sides.
Seokjin tries to pick up the ball by hitting it with the racket just like they’d been taught in the previous episode but hits the ground instead. Yoongi wants to give him a yellow card but only has a yellow pen which he holds up instead.
They get a fantastic rally going but unfortunately Tae loses because he hits the ball too hard and it goes OUT. JK says it was so good there should be a slo-mo to commemorate that rally which makes everyone laugh.
Tae hits the ball into the OUT and nearly hits Jimin and JK which prompts Jimin to chant something in Busan satoori along with JK but Namjoon stops them by saying that they’re in Seoul.
The ball gets stuck in Tae’s racket, something that happens very, very rarely and thus the members decide to give him that point simply because of that. Namjoon also tells Tae he should buy a lottery ticket.
Finally, because “hard work never betrays”, Seokjin wins! He also wins, according to me for the cutest smile because honestly LOOK AT HIM, how can anyone not be endlessly fond, endeared and enamored with him? That’s scientifically impossible and should be a punishable crime. Am I exaggerating? Who cares!
Also Hobi gently, so very gently, dabbing away Seokjin’s sweat with his sleeve.
Seokjin receives a skinny little gold medal, which Tae sneakily steals from him like a little squirrel while Seokjin gives a speech while being the most humble and very Seokjin.
MATCH OVER
After the game the members gather at a restaurant with the bill being paid by Seokjin, which is something the members simply decide upon though Seokjin makes a joke about having forgotten his wallet at home. What a nice prize for winning, makes it totally worth it, right? The first dishes that are served are seafood which Namjoon comments on by saying that he can’t eat them, but he needn’t worry because there was plenty, and I mean plenty, more food to be tried and eaten.
Overall the dinner featured some funny and interesting moments such as:
Hobi, Tae and Seokjin playing the “tangsuyuk” game which Namjoon calls childish and yet makes a game out of him saying “child” and Jimin “ish” with a laugh and smile on his face.
Jimin and Seokjin having a funny/cutesy conversation in a mix of Korean and English which is followed by Seokjin saying they should now only talk in English, which Hobi accepts. The only ones who do it are Hobi and Seokjin (who shows off two sentences with great pronunciation) and then it’s over and they switch back to Korean.
JK saying “I wanna be a lobster” to the tune of “I wanna be a rockstar” from Interlude: Shadow.
An extreme closeup shot of Jimin trying Peking duck including some ASMR for those who like it.
JK and Seokjin reaching for Seokjin’s drink at the same time with Seokjin telling JK he should order his own instead of trying to take his (later we see JK still drink from Seokjin’s glass). Jimin also asks for a sip (though he might be talking to Hoseok since there’s a glass standing between them as well from which we see Jimin drink).
Tae wonders what they’ll be going through in the next episode of RUN which gets commented as “reasonable doubt” by the editors in the subs.
Jimin tells the story of how he went to a hair salon with Yoongi though at first he can’t remember when it was. Tae and his vault of Jimin memories though does, saying that it was for their profile pictures before debut. The story goes that Jimin got an asymmetrical haircut which apparently was so bad/funny Yoongi couldn’t look at him and left him behind to meet with his friends instead. Once Jimin arrived at the dorm, Hobi woke up from his sleep yet, upon seeing Jimin, “fainted” because he laughed so hard.
As final dish they get mattang which reminds them of the mattang JK made in an older episode of RUN which ended up basically being completely immovable and stuck to his plate. “First is cleanliness, second is cleanliness, and third is adhesiveness.” I’m not surprised that we remember these things, but looking at how much they do, see, and have to remember, I’m always amazed by the fact that they remember such small things as well.
Jimin asked how long they’ve been doing RUN for to which JK says “10 years” making everyone laugh. Yoongi though comes through saying that they started in 2015, which is correct.
In the end they get some coffee and Tae asks if they should leave for their next shoot now, something it seems they’ve been stalling on doing since Tae already asked that twice before and they came up with things they should/need to do or eat before that.
And that concludes the episode! Wow, this turned out way too long. If you actually made it this far, I truly applaud you and also thank you sincerely. I loved this episode and I just had a lot to say, I suppose. This might be one of my new favorite episodes, which I have a feeling I’ve been saying for the last couple of episodes as well, but what can I say, these episodes have really been amazing recently.

There's something soothing about the sound of crickets.
It usually brings one peace and calm.
Tonight, the sound is like grating nails against a chalkboard. It sets you on edge. To distract yourself you’ve taken to digging non-existent dirt out from underneath your fingernails. You don’t want to look up, to look at anyone because to do that you would have to truly take in the reality.
And, the reality is that you’re all fucked. Not a single one of you was safe. This family you’ve grown into, became a part of something with this amazing man who saved you from the treacherous slave circle you were sold into- you are all doomed.
For the first time, the meeting is taking place outside of the room you all convene in on the third floor.
All seven mafia men, their women- apart from your sister, and you were sitting in the sitting room.
You can hear the wooden boards of the floor creaking behind you as your husband paces back and forth. His hand is tucked beneath his chin as he stares off into the far distance.
Digging your toes into the Persian rug you bought not too long ago, you tilt your head back to the lip of the couch to watch him in his constant struggle. It’s heartbreaking to watch, to see him so stressed and know there is nothing you can do.
Even if you could do something, he wouldn’t want you to.
“What are you moping about?” Jeongguk slurs as he looks everyone over.
Your eyes flicker to him as he leans back against the base of the couch.
“What do you mean moping? We’re all in fucking danger.” You hear Taehyung mutter as he rubs his wife's stomach.
“Oh boo hoo. Danger. This is nothing. Like ducks off a water's back or whatever.” Jeongguk scoffs as he lifts his hood up.
You cringe at his words and cringe even harder as Tae sits up straighter.
“Yes. Jeongguk, danger. My pregnant wife is in fucking danger. Jimin’s pregnant wife is in danger. We all have someone we fucking care about who is in danger.” Taehyung says loudly, his hands turning into fists as he tilts his head to the younger man sat on the floor.
“Come talk to me when they die.” Jeongguk says, his voice uncaring and distant.
“What did you say?” Tae asks quickly as he stands up.
You press your hand hard to the youngest’s shoulder as he goes to stand up. He falters with a groan as the men around the room begin to creep closer to the action.
“I said come talk to me when they die.” Jeongguk says before chuckling to himself and looking over at you.
You grit your teeth before slapping the back of his head.
“I’ll fucking kill you. You hear me? Don’t you dare ever-” Taehyung barks out as he steps onto the coffee table.
“Oh, big man coming over here. Look at him. Y/N do you think he’ll really do it, noona? Will Kim Taehyung kill me?” Guk asks, cutting off his older brother.
Pulling out his knife, Taehyung begins to advance on Guk before being pulled back by Jin and Namjoon.
“That’s enough, don’t listen to him.” Jin tells the younger man before narrowing his eyes at Guk and pointing his finger at him. Jeongguk covers his face with his hood before snorting. A noise only you could hear and it infuriates you to no end.
“Shut the fuck up.” You seethe quietly through your teeth as he throws his arm over your thigh.
“Whatever.” He mumbles.
Although the silence is terrible, fighting amongst the family is worse.
“We just all need to think of someone who would do this an-” Namjoon begins to say before being cut off by Jin.
“But it doesn’t matter, does it? Because, whoever it is still has the upper hand. Sure we can think of a person who would do this to us but there are still a million questions. Why would it be us? What have we done to piss off another family? What the fuck does Kyul being on our payroll have to do with them?” He rambles and you stare at the polished glass of the coffee table as he speaks.
You look at your family as they begin to fight with one another. Watching them dog at each other like it was one of them that’s done it.
All the women are silent, visibly nervous and you can’t do anything. You are physically at a loss. Nothing you can say will help the situation, nothing that you do will help either.
As for your husband, he’s still pacing in lalaland. He could give a pacemaker a run for its money.
Eyeing Hyejin, you take in the way her hands are balled up into fists. The way she takes deep breaths as she looks at the ceiling. She’s about to pop a gasket.
“Hye.” You call to her as Taehyung fights with Yoongi.
Her eyes snap to yours and you can see them becoming glassy as the seconds tick on.
It makes you snap. Your best friend, in emotional turmoil and all this screaming isn’t helping.
“HEY!” You bellow at the top of your lungs.
Hyunah looks over, pursing her lips impressed before lighting her cigarette.
“That’s enough! You’re fighting amongst your family, don’t you realize that?!” You yell as everyone gets quiet.
Jimin’s head whips over to your screams before putting his head back to look at the ceiling.
“We are not the enemy! You yelling at one another, making small little digs and comments against your brothers is the absolute worst thing you could be doing right now. We need fucking solidarity! Not bitching and fucking fighting like you’ve stolen each others toys!” You tell them as they slowly sit back into their chairs.
Hyejin busts out into tears and her husband shuts his eyes before hugging her tightly to his body. With a thick swallow, you look them all over before standing.
“It could be a bunch of fucking families. It could be the Im’s. It could be the Kim’s. The Bangs. The fucking Yakuza from Japan- I don’t care. I need you all to get it the fuck together. Immediately.” You say as you slam your hand on the coffee table.
Yoongi clears his throat before wrapping his arm around his wife's shoulder.
“Hyejin, Jenny and Three. Go in the kitchen.” You point to the open door and without a second glance they’re off.
Pressing your hands together, you press them to your lips before turning to your husband.
He’s still contemplating, still muddling over what must be done. And, in the meantime, you need to get everyone on the same page.
“Are you all here? Mentally? Are we able to carry on without throwing toys out the fucking pram?” You ask them all.
Hyunah gives a gentle snort as she pulls from her cigarette.
“We received body parts of someone who was on our payroll. Now that’s a message. They could have come to the front door and written ‘You’re Next’ in lions blood and it still would have been as clear. Someone is against us and this isn’t the time to be yelling and screaming at each other. In fact, they’d probably like that. They’d love to see us fall apart. Whoever it is, they know about us. They know that we have families that we care about, people that we adore and they’re targeting us. We cannot- I’ll repeat that in case you’ve fallen deaf. We CANNOT fall apart.” You tell them as you pull your hands away from your face.
“Do we all understand?” Hyunah asks the boys as they all hum in agreement.
You walk over to the golden caddy, feeling all eyes on your back as you pour a glass of whisky.
“Well what do you want us to d-” Hoseok’s voice goes silent as Namjoon shakes his index finger wildly in his direction.
Your feet pad gently over your husband before extending the glass of liquor in his face. His eyes slowly move to you and in his irises you can see every stunted and wild emotion in them. He runs his hand lovingly over your cheek as he grabs the glass of whisky. You both stare at one another for a minute, his back deliberately to the guys as he bites his bottom lip nervously.
Your face never changes. You know they can see you and even if you have all these feelings fluttering inside of you, you have to stay strong. But, you let him go through his emotions freely.
He wants to cry. To scream. To run. But, you’re here. Keeping him tethered to this earth.
He takes a large gulp of the liquor as he stares at you, his thumb constantly caressing the apple of his cheek.
There’s this non-verbal conversation you’ve gotten into as you look upon one another. You’re drinking in his dread, pulling his fears from his heart. Just the sight of you calms him, brings him this gumption and drive to do what’s right.
Family is family.
You fight for it.
He finishes off his whisky before kissing your forehead.
Turning around to the guys, he takes in their hunched backs and their forms that are wrought with nerves.
Jimin holds his hand out to you and you take it willingly as he walks you both over to the couch. With a huff, he sits himself down on the couch before pulling you into his lap. His lips traipse over your bare shoulder for a minute before he leans back.
“We’re going to have Casino Night.” He finally says.
Not the first sentence that you thought you’d hear out of his mouth but, you’re intrigued to know where he’s going with this.
Everyone gives him their full attention as his hand lands on your flat stomach.
“We’re not giving in. We’re not showing weakness. And, I bet you that at Casino Night, we will see the family who is holding Kyul over our heads. It has to be someone in the Seoul circuit, they knew Kyul was working under our pay band- we will find them. And, we will make them pay. We live under the same roof, same neighborhood. We’ll call in some lions to come and stay at the house to make sure we’re feeling very safe. We will get through this, like everything- with guns and knives and give hell to pay.” Your husband says, his hand caressing at your stomach as he looks around at the other members of his group that he holds dear.
“No one is going to get the best of us because we are the best. We’re not going to let some small time pricks come into our house and tell us how to fucking cook. We’re going to do what we always do- Win.” He says as the front door opens.
Your sister and three little munchkins come waltzing in and it’s a sight for sore eyes.
You take in your daughter, chocolate ice cream smudged around her lips and cheeks. You melt at the sheer sight.
Wrinkling your nose, you stand up as she runs over to you.
“Watch the baby.” Jimin calls to her as she hugs you tightly.
“Did you have fun, buddy?” Jin asks his son as he pulls him onto his lap.
Jisuk nods happily as he hugs his father around the neck.
“What do you have in your hand there, Won?” Hoseok asks sweetly to your daughter as you wipe her face of the ice cream remnants.
Your sister tilts her head seemingly confused as she sets Minseok down on his feet. He takes small steps towards his father, earning bright smiles from Jimin and the others.
“Man gave me a paper, said it was for mommy and daddy!” Hawon cheers as you stop wiping her face.
Your eyes land on your sister who widens her eyes, “I didn’t- I didn’t see anyone give her anything!” She says.
Taehyung stands up before kneeling in front of Hawon.
“Give Uncle Tae the letter.” He says calmly.
She smiles wider before shaking her head and clutching her fist tighter.
“Oh Jesus.” Jimin mumbles as he hands Minseok over to Namjoon.
He darts over to his daughter before kneeling beside his best friend.
“Give daddy the letter please, Hawon.” She giggles loudly before shaking her head and running around the room.
“Hawon, this isn’t a game baby, please give daddy the letter!” You call to her, your voice peaking with nervousness as she opens the letter.
White powder falls onto her as Jimin grabs the letter from her hand.
The gasp inside of the room is audible, everyone scrambles to stand up and the two kids are out of the room with your sister in a flash.
“Oh my God!” You cry out as Jimin tugs off your daughters clothes.
“Is it anthrax?!” Hyunah calls as she stands up.
Your heart is beating so voraciously, you can barely hear her.
Like time is moving in slow motion, you pull your powder covered daughter into your arms knocking your husband out of the wag before dashing into the kitchen and turning the water on.
Tears brim in your eyes as you sit Hawon down into the sink. She can feel your nervousness, see your tears and she begins to get frightened herself.
“Mommy?” She whimpers as you douse her in the lukewarm water.
“It’s baby powder.” Yoongi calls from the living room as Jimin runs his hands over her small limbs. You can't even remember him following behind you.
He breathes a sigh of relief and you crumple to your knees before wailing loudly.
You feel arms wrapping around your body in an instant and you know it’s Hyejin from the feeling of her skinny arms.
“Shhhh.” She shushes you as she combs your hair behind your ear.
“I’m going to fucking kill them.” You cry out feebly as you press your hand to your heart.
Hawon begins to cry as Jimin kisses the top of her head multiple times.
“It’s okay. Mommy was just scared.” He whispers, his voice cracking as he holds her tightly.
Burying your face in your knees, your nails begin to dig into the flesh of your palms. No one would be getting away with this.
No one.

"Are you ready??" asks Sirius radio, "Louis Tomlinson week is in full swing!" The official announcement for We Made It came out and oh, it is beautiful! The picture is of Louis centered in front of the multi colored carnival wheel we saw in the video teaser. The image is evocative of Christian religious iconography with Louis as a saint with a rainbow halo; it's also evocative of Harry's Lights Up publicity shots with the green under lighting. The post has the same layout as the KMM one but switches the red color scheme for orange- a random seeming choice unless they're going to... dear god... keep going down this path for the rest of the singles and make a whole... ass... RAINBOW?? We haven't even got this single properly yet and now I'm dying of impatience for the next one just to see if it's yellow, fucking hell. Anyway it shows the worldwide release times, with a spot for Doncaster, aww. More promo spots are being announced, and it looks like there's going to be a Louis Fan vs Artist trivia video OMG that will be great. And while only one fan will get to do that one, Louis is going all out for all of us and I think given the publicity narrative for this song ("it's about the fans!") we can expect lots more amazing content- in the meantime the quotes about how much he loves us are truly incredible, just yesterday giving us him saying that while his biggest inspiration as a teenager was Liam Gallagher now it's his fans, and, no offense to other artists but that he has one of the best relationships with his fans, ever. So much good stuff! And then team I-don't-know-a-UK-time-who's-she over at LTHQ were like hmm not quite enough, this seems like a great time to announce a Late Late Show appearance (Oct 28!) and post the official single cover to Louis' instagram. Louis! In front of the rainbow wheel! It's gorgeous! Three more days...
Meanwhile, HARRY. It looks like he recorded a "Later... With Jools Holland" performance spot tonight, first of all. The 60 min show features multiple artists per episode performing more than one song each (and sometimes together). Harry's spot will probably air sometime in November and we were told he played Lights Up and a new song! Maybe called Watermelon Sugar! Well that was exciting enough to spawn a hundred Watermelon Sugar treatises and memes in about twenty minutes- but that wasn't enough for Harry, no. "Kiwi walked so Watermelon Sugar could run," he tweeted, scattering chaos like melon seeds. AND the doyouknowwhoyouare site was updated with a new theme (black on white!) and new compliments, a strangely high percentage of them food themed, and some seeming like song title Easter eggs (even more food!) Watermelon Sugar is in there, as is the conspicuously capitalized "Like That Summer Feeling." Harry also (earlier) liked a tweet begging him to say when his album was out, thanks very informative Harold, and a unicef commercial featuring Sign of the Times debuted: we're told he donated use of his song to support their work vaccinating children internationally.
Niall, fanfic trope notwithstanding, didn't have anything to say about food today unless you count the "I'd eat my own hand for a Grammy nom" quote, but he is snatching this week's King of Cute Funny Videos title from Liam, there's Nice To Meme Ya or Fan vs Artist Trivia, and of course, the Irish slang video! Is the best part him making fun of Americans (and scarily well) or him going "you know how English people will just be like lads lads lads" while waving his arms around (Louis texting him like lad do I have to give you a talking to as well I thought we covered this with Liam?) or is it how absolutely hysterical he finds the whole thing? You be the judge! Asked about whether he and his bandmates coordinate to avoid overlapping releases he says not at all and that's how you get this kind of pile up, and suggests that it happened because they all got in the habit of releasing new music this time of year and are still doing that. He posted an audio snippet of NTMY being workshopped, neat! He says he's delighted for Louis, that he's nailing a sound that's really right for him, and that Harry's album is really good.
Liam has a cover and interview for an Esquire Spain special issue, took a fan pic in London, and of course he still has cute funny videos coming out too! Just not as many all at once. He's chatting more about his Ant Middleton TV special/interview as air time gets closer, reminding us that we'll soon see him out there "enduring nature" in Nambia while being pressed for details about his personal life. The Hugo underwear packaging images are up now, as are cute bts pics and video from the Esquire shoot.

A night to remember -Chapter one
Y/N’s POV
“Flight 227 to Copenhagen departing from gate 11 in ten minutes.” I’ve been listening to messages like this for over an hour now, I’m still waiting for my turn. I’m going on flight 459 to London, boarding from gate 2. It’s 7am and I barely got any sleep last night, so I should be tired, but of course I’m not! I’m going to a concert tonight, not just any concert, this is basically a once in a lifetime kind of thing since, unfortunately, I was born in the wrong country. You guessed it, I’m seeing BTS tonight, and I couldn’t be happier! Well actually I could… my mom wouldn’t let me go and since my stepbrother had something he wanted to look for, I think it was a skateboard or something, in London, she decided that we could go together. My stepbrother is kind of… I don’t know, he’s really controlling and quite mean. He actually scares me sometimes, and now I had to go to London with him, at least he wasn’t coming to the concert. “Flight 459 to London boardi-” Yes! Finally, it was my turn! I’m pretty much running straight towards the line, I end up at 6th place in line so that’s not so bad. “Hey, you can’t board without Me come back here!” I hear a voice calling. “Well shit…” I think to myself as I start walking towards him. “What the hell do you think you’re doing!?” He grabs my arm, it hurts. “Are you really that excited to see those stupid Asians that you can’t even act like a normal human being, I can’t be held responsible for your stupidity but yet that is exactly what…“ I stop listening, he let go of my arm but it still hurts a bit. We get to the end of the line and show our boarding passes, a flight attendant points us to our seats after wishing us a great flight and gives me a vague smile, I guess she feels sorry for me, she heard him while we were waiting in line.
---
The plane takes off and I can’t believe it, I’m leaving my hometown to go to London, to see Bangtan, that’s crazy, right? Well I’ll go back home tomorrow morning but still. I plug in my headphones and put on some music, I prepped for the trip by downloading like a thousand songs, so I think I’ll be okay. Love maze starts playing and a smile covers my face, I sink into the music and let myself go for a while.
---
We land on Heathrow and take a cab to the hotel, we get settled and he says: “Don’t go anywhere while I’m out.” And then he just leaves. I’m 18 years old I can take care of myself, there’s still a few hours left before I have to leave for the concert and I’m hungry, so I go out to get something to eat. There’s some kind of pub right down the corner so I go in there and decide to order a classic fish n’ chips. I kind of have to, I bet it’s a law for all tourists, while in London you have to eat fish n’ chips. When I’m done eating I stroll down the street, just looking at people, buildings, really cute dogs… Then I decide to go back to the hotel and get ready for the concert.
---
“Where have you been!? I told you not go anywhere, you need to grow up, stop acting like such a brat and listen!” I barely made it through the door before the yelling started, apparently, he got back before I did. “I’m not a child, I can take care of myself, and I just went down the corner to get something to eat. You can’t tell me what to do, and who’s the real brat here!?” I yell back but instead of giving me an answer he hits me. His fist hits my cheekbone before I can even register what’s going down. I hear him swearing and then he storms out and slams the door behind him. By now tears are streaming down my face, he has raised his voice, even raised his hand, but he has never hit me before. I’ve always felt like he might do though so I’m not that surprised. Why now, I can’t deal with this, this day is supposed to be all fun, now I can’t even seem to get my crying ass up from the floor. “Y/N, you need to stand up, right now.” I tell myself. I stand and walk up to the mirror. Half my face is turning purple and my eye is swollen. There’s also a small notch on my cheek, it’s bleeding a little but fortunately it doesn’t seem to deep. I take a deep breath and try to push the tears away, this is nothing a little makeup can’t fix…
---
A little concealer later I’ve covered up most of the purple, of course you can still see the swelling and the notch, but it’s a lot better than before. I’m not gonna let this ruin my night. Right now, I’m gonna focus on having fun, everything else is just gonna have to wait. I finish my makeup, get dressed and go down to the lobby. One of the receptionists help me call for a cab to the concert venue. The whole car ride there the cabdriver is looking at me kinda weird, it’s making me uncomfortable, but at last we arrive, I pay for the cab and get out as quickly as I can. There’s a long line to get into the venue but as soon as the doors open everything goes by quite fast. I’m there pretty early and since I got a standing ticket I’m almost as close to the stage as one can possibly get, there’s just one row of people in front of me. There’s still over an hour until the concert actually starts so in the meantime I talk to some of the other fans around me since I came there alone. It’s a lot of fun and time passes by quickly.
---
The stage lights up with hundreds of spotlights and Taehyungs voice starts flowing through the arena in the beginning of Fake love. The crowd is singing along, screaming, dancing, crying, all at once, army-bombs are swaying in synchronized harmony. My whole body feels warm and I’m happier than I’ve ever been before.
---
Several songs later that euphoric feeling still hasn’t left my body, I think there’s only about seven songs left. In the middle of Yoongi’s verse in Outro: Tear I start feeling lightheaded, black spots are covering my eyelids and everything sounds as if I’m under water. Suddenly I can’t even stay upright, but right when I’m about to fall someone picks me up, I try to see who it is, but everything turns black and me head falls back.
---
I wake up on a black couch with two women and one of the security guards beside me. “Hey, are you feeling okay? Headache? Are you dizzy?” the women are bombarding me with questions. “I’m a bit dizzy.” I answer and try to sit up. “Was it you who carried me here?” I ask the security guard. “Yes, I saw that you were about to faint and just had time to catch you before you fell.” “Oh, thank you.” I say but can’t help but think about how incredibly embarrassing this was, he had carried me all the way here, not that I know where “here” is yet, with everybody watching… One of the women, whom I’ve now figured out are nurses, hand me a glass of water. “Do you know why you fainted? Have you eaten anything today? Have you had plenty of water?” “Yeah I have done both, but this happens sometimes, I get lightheaded really easily, I’ve gotten used to it.” “Well as soon as possible you should go see a doctor, you might have an iron deficiency or something like that, okay?” the nurse says, and I nod. Then I realize that I can still hear the music from the stage, and it’s loud, how haven’t I noticed this until now, I look around and I seem to be by the side of the stage, backstage, I guess… I still can’t really think clearly, my head is spinning. “I should get back to my position.” the security guard says. “Us too, but we’ll be right nearby if you need us, just call for us.” One of the nurses adds. “Okay, and thanks.” I respond before they leave. I can’t believe they’ll just leave me here, for all they know I could be a hired assassin, but oh well. Since I’m still quite dizzy I close my eyes and lean back. Just a short while later a voice interrupts me in my silent slumber. “Hi.”
So guys, the first chapter of my new fanfic “A night to remember”, I know this first chapter is really uneventful and boring but I will upload the second chapter as soon as possible. I just really needed this as an “introduction” to the story! Anyways, tell me your thoughts in the comments and feel free to DM me! :)

“The bell tolls
And suddenly
I can’t bring myself
To let you go
Anymore.”
The muggy strip club smelled of sweat, cigars, and testosterone; not unusual for a Friday night. I made my way through one of the private hallways, a curtain blocking the restricted section from any unwanted guests. By that, really any guest that didn’t pay the hefty fee first. I could practically smell the sweat off of the pigs as they got worked up because a girl wasn’t wearing a shirt in front of them simply to pay off her college tuition. Disgusting; but no matter. I make business off “disgusting”.
I made my way up to the bar, seating myself at one of the far ends of the room to avoid crowding. My bartender immediately dropped what he was doing, and made his way over to me in haste.
“Yes, sir? What would you like this evening?”
“Negroni, double.”
“Got it, sir.”
I nodded, watching him rush back to his station to fix me my drink as soon as possible. I looked around the room in the meantime, watching the men filing more and more into the club. The watch on my wrist said 11:30 PM, and a smirk of approval bestowed itself on my face as I once again watched the usual crowds make their way to the fronts of the stages, practically ogling at the dancers behind stoic faces. Some pulled out dollar bills, some catcalled the girls, as the dancers went on with their siren-like seductions. What to a man seemed like a smile, or a twinkling of the eye, was yet another game for money. A perverted sense of love to the core.
“Here’s your drink, as requested, sir.”
“Thank you, Bastion,” I said, handing him a tip. He smiled graciously as he took it, murmured a ‘thank you’, and went on attending to other customers.
I nursed the deep rose liquid, sloshing it around in my hand to let it soak up the orange slice inside. The mass crowds began to force the temperature to rise, and I could feel a cold sweat exude on my neck as I tried to cool myself down with the drink. I loosened the black bowtie that contrasted nicely with my velvet, midnight green suit jacket, and black suit pants, somewhat making everything more comfortable.
Suddenly, I heard a distant ring of a cell phone. I fished mine out of my suit jacket, noticing who it was that was calling me.
“Yes, Father?” I feigned enthusiasm as I spoke. Who the hell calls this late at night?
“Ah, Chan, I need you for a moment. Come to my office.”
“But, Father,” I fretted on the inside, however retaining that dutiful smile, “it’s so late, what could possibly not wait till tomorrow?-”
“Chan. Come to the office. I will not take no for an answer.”
I heard the click of the opposing line, ending the connection of the call. I let out a sigh of frustration, putting the cell phone back into my pocket as I shot the rest of my drink down in one gulp. Slamming it on the table, I dropped another bill on the table as I walked away.
“Bastion,” I commented on the way out, watching the newbie perk up from his station out of the corner of my eye. I tightened my bowtie and grabbed my Chesterfield coat off the wall rack. “You make a damn fine drink. I want you back in tomorrow.”
I could see his face brighten in astonishment. He quickly bowed and yelled a ‘thank you, sir!’ as I walked out of the strip club and into the rainy nightfall.
The rain beat tremendously onto the pavement as I made it to my car. The BMW shined vibrantly against the cold light of the city’s street lamps, and I quickly got into it as to not get too wet from the downpour. I started the ignition and began my travels down to the office. Fortunately, it was in the heart of the city; not too far away from the Jung-gu district.
I drummed the tips of my fingers on the steering wheel, anxious for what Father had to tell me. Why the hell couldn’t it just wait until tomorrow? I let out a frustrated sigh, further pressing my foot on the gas pedal. Knowing him, though, it wouldn’t have been without reasonable cause.
I made it quickly to his office, one of the larger towers in all of Seoul. It’s pristine look and contemporary design demanded attention from where it stood; a distinguished monument to the skyline of the city. A valet swiftly made his way to my car, bowing as I parked and got out.
As the valet seated himself in my car to park it, lines of employees waiting outside the front door to welcome me. One of the ladies opened the door for me as the others bowed out of respect.
“Greetings, Hae Chan II. It is a pleasant surprise to see you here.”
I shrugged off my coat, now covered well in rain. “It sure is, isn’t it?” I replied, straining a smile.
Apparently my eyes could not seem to mask the emotions I hid with my smile, as the lady suddenly looked down at the ground to avoid my gaze. I briskly walked into the building, ignoring the receptionist as she tried to sputter words before I got into the elevator.
I selected the highest floor as my destination, however frustrated as to why my Father had to have an office at the top of precisely twenty-six floors. I rolled my shoulders and let out deep breaths, attempting to calm myself as much as I could before I saw him.
Minutes later, the bell rang as the elevator doors slid open. I turned left and strode down the hallway to my father’s office, hoping that this would be a quick congregation.
I opened the door slowly, stepping inside as I asked into the room, “Father?”
“Ah, my dear boy. Come, sit down. Where did you come from? It took you longer than it usually would have to get here,” he said questioningly.
I saw Father sitting down in his large office chair, holding a drink in his hand as he looked out into the city nightlife. I tried to steady my breathing, sitting down into one of the cushioned chairs on the opposite side of his desk.
“I… came from Jung-gu.”
“Jung-gu?” he asked, eyes narrowing. “What on earth would you be doing there this late at night?”
“Just some errands for a friend,” I lied. He nodded his head, not saying another word on the matter.
It was time to put on the mask, I told myself. The façade. “What’s wrong, Father?” I asked, purposefully straining my voice. “What made the news so urgent?”
He sighed from the other end, taking a swift drink of what appeared to be a glass of bourbon. “There was an accident tonight.”
My brows furrowed and I sat back in my chair, crossing my legs in the process. “What sort of accident?”
“Well, apparently four of our men died today in a car crash while scoping the girl’s apartment.”
I sat up in my chair, my mouth left agape. “What do you mean?”
“What the hell else do you think I mean? They’re dead. They were chasing after someone who they saw scoping out the place. Some of our other men were on foot and weren’t in the accident, so they were able to report everything back to me.”
My tongue caught in my cheek, holding off a scoff of frustration. “So, what? You think that the ‘someone’ is the police?”
Father smirked, looking down at his drink. “Oh, I know it was the police.”
“How do you know it was the police?” I questioned, sitting further and further on the edge of the chair.
“It couldn’t have been anyone else,” Father said, grabbing a cigar from the cigar box and lighting it. “All the other surrounding gangs are in peacetime. Besides, the incentive wouldn’t be in their court, anyway. We have trade deals with Jongdae and Kyungsoo, as well as our friends Taeyong and the others in the northeastern prefects. By this point, we have over half of Seoul under our gang’s control. It wouldn’t benefit anyone.”
“Yeah, but you’re forgetting about anyone relating to (Y/N),” I replied, feeling accomplished that I now had the upper hand.
Or, at least I thought so. Immediately, Father laughed and brushed me off with his hand, acting as if I was a silly child. “Have you even looked into the background of this girl, Chan?” he said, slowly getting up out of his seat and walking over to mine.
I immediately turned nervous; that same, cold sweat making its way down the back of my neck. “No, sir,” I replied.
His voice began to rise little by little as he spoke, sitting on the edge of the desk to face me. “So, you did not know that she was an orphan, with no other relatives, and grew up in foster care for the remainder of her adolescence?”
“No, sir.”
“And so you did not know that your doubts against your Father were simply out of pure incompetence? Answer me!” he barked.
I cleared my throat, my shoulders stiffening at his words. “No, sir.”
Father let out a sigh of frustration, pushing his hair back with his left hand as he puffed on his cigar with the right. He relaxed his shoulders, making his way back to his office chair. “Besides, some of our guys are running the plates in the meantime. We’ll have absolute proof in the morning.”
“Do you think we could even go back again to see if they didn’t find any information on her?”
“No, it’s practically been compromised at this point. Besides, we have the information that Six got off her when they took her purse. That should suffice for now. We have her credit and debit cards, her license, a few other things. The license alone should be a portal of information, waiting to be used.”
He took one last sip of his drink before slamming it on the desk, the glass making a loud clamour against the dark mahogany.
“So what does this mean?” I question, a scoff leaving my lips. “That the police may have her? Is that why they were at her house?”
“They don’t have her,” Father stated, folding his arms as he crossed his legs from where he sat.
“I don’t understand,” I reveal, hands ruffling my hair in frustration. “How can you just be so sure?”
His eyebrow lifted quizzically, as if wondering how I couldn’t have understood something so simple. “Are you serious?”
“What do you mean?”
“What I mean is that of course the police don’t fucking have (Y/N),” he said, grabbing the nearest bottle of bourbon and refilling his drink. “Bangtan does.”
I sat back in my chair once more as I let the puzzles all fit together suddenly, remembering Six’s story about someone running off with the girl. “That’s the gang that’s in Six’s territory we’ve been trying to track down.”
“Yes, and apparently the last person that was seen with (Y/N) ever since was Min Yoongi; one of the runaways of Six’s claim- and one of the members of Bangtan.”
“While you’ve been running your business of all the clubs up here in Yongsan-gu, bringing in the establishment’s revenue,” Father said as he sipped his drink, “Six has been fucking up big time in Dongjak-gu. His members have been trying to track down Bangtan, but it’s been fruitless this entire time. For years this has been a recurrence. Now, we have a fucking dumb girl in the picture who could rat us out. Not just CHAN, though. Bangtan, too. That’s why they still have her. There’s no way they could risk letting her go, otherwise she’d simply go to the police and we’d all get thrown under the bus. That’s why it’s imperative we take her out. Six has almost fucking ruined this cooperation I have sacrificed everything to build, and if we don’t plan carefully…” he paused, gazing down at the glass in his hand, “it still might fail. We’re going to need to take more members from the other territories and bring them into Dongjak-gu.”
“It will be done,” I said, getting up from my seat and bowing. “It is getting very late, Father. I think I will make my way home, now.”
I looked back up at him to see his gaze penetrating mine, a sour look on his face as he nodded. “Chan, while this conversation is now over- or at least until next time, I need to tell you something before you leave.”
I straightened my jacket as I stood upright from my bow. “Yes, sir?”
“I… I think I will postpone my retire.”
My heart stopped as I stood there in shock. Moments of silence passed before I could utter any words. “W-what?”
“You,” he swiveled his chair to the side as he waved me off, looking through the windows of the corner office, “I don’t think you’re ready to inherit the position just yet. I think there’s much growing to be had. I’ve given this much thought, and I’ve decided that I will proceed to be the president of CHAN until my death. Then will you succeed the position.”
My hands began to shake as I balled them into fists, forcing a smile onto my face. My eyes screamed animosity though; resentment blooming in my chest. “Father, Father- I’ve done everything you’ve ever asked me to do.”
“That is the point, Chan,” he stated flatly, disinterested in the conversation. “You’ve yet to grow, and you just turned, what, thirty-six this year? You don’t know… how to take action. That type of drive… that’s what’s needed for CHAN to thrive. A man; not a boy who follows everyone’s orders. Besides, son, I am already an elder. I believe you can be patient in the meantime, as you continue to grow.”
My teeth clenched, the muscles in my jaw tightening. Suddenly, everything I had been working towards since childhood had been crushed to bits. The tightening in my chest couldn’t help itself anymore as I yelled out against my Father.
“How could you do this to me?” I snapped, my shouts uncontrollable. “I’ve done everything for you! I gave up my entire life for you, and this is how you repay me!”
I could feel tears of rage well in my eyes. “God, my own Father! All I ever did was what would please you!”
I silenced myself, waiting for a reaction from the old man.
“Get out of here,” he spat, swirling the drink in his hands. “Maybe this encounter will shed light on the realities of the situation.”
Dumbfounded, I stormed out of his office without another word. The downpour from earlier still persisted as I received my car from the former valet service; the men and women bowing once again at the door as I left.
I pushed the pedal as far down as I could, tears streaming from my face in fits of anger. I couldn’t contain it anymore, and I began shouting and pounding on my steering wheel, virtually losing myself in the process. It wasn’t until I could hear the honking of a car and the sounds of rushing wind that I realized I was passing every red light there was, almost crashing into another car at that moment. I floored the brake, halting to a stop as my heart beat out of its chest. Everything spun around me; the only thing that was grounding me suddenly ripped away from my hold. The adrenaline that flooded through me from the fear of crashing, mixed with the sudden anxiety, forced panic onto me as I began to spout nonsense as if it were a recited mantra.
I shouted in fright as several cars honked behind me, before each one of them drove around me and back onto the road. My shoulders trembled as I clutched my heart, my teeth clenching as I begged my body to calm down. I needed to keep driving, I told myself, as I slowly pressed down on the pedal and began to move the car again. As my mind began to clear a bit more, I suddenly turned a corner on one of the intersections- driving away from my house. The night wasn’t over yet, unfortunately; there was someone I needed to speak to first.
As soon as I parked my car in the cul de sac, I rushed through the rain and banged on the door of the gang house. I tapped my foot with impatience as I could hear people from inside bickering on who was going to get the door.
“Jesus- just let me in already!” I barked, hitting the door.
The door swiftly opened as I could see some of Six’s gang members in the living room and kitchen, seeming to just be relaxing for the night. I stepped in and shrugged off my coat, hanging it on the nearest coat rack.
“Where’s Six?” I asked sternly, fixing the cuff links to my suit jacket in the process.
“Downstairs,” one of the members replied. I murmured a 'thanks' as I made my way down into the basement, opening the door to see Six with one of his members, drinking and talking.
Upon hearing the sound of someone else’s presence, Six turned around to see me looming closer to him, and his brows furrowed in suspicion.
“Two, what the hell are you doing here?”
I played the act, the last time I would for the night, as I replied with a smile, “Please, Six. Can’t a brother stop by to see how the other is doing?”
The other slowly got up from the couch, and he made his way over to me reluctantly. I pulled him into a hug, patting his back lightly.
“See, just some brotherly love-”
I punched him in the stomach as I finished my words, watching him hunch over in pain. I took the lower palm of my hand and smashed it against his jaw, blood spurting out of his mouth as he fell to the ground.
“Six!” the black hair boy shouted, rushing over to him in panic.
“Just get outta here, Mark,” Six sputtered, attempting to push him away.
“What the fuck is your problem?” Mark screamed, looking up at me. “My problem?” I replied through laughter, “It’s this piece of shit that’s the fucking problem!”
I kicked my brother’s stomach, watching him cry out in sudden pain.
“You’re fucking stunt with this dumbass girl has now brought death to our own fucking men! Your men! And here you are, drinking up a fucking storm and chit-chatting like it’s fucking nothing. You. Fucking. Brat!”
I repeatedly kicked him at ever punctuation, his wailing getting louder and louder each time. I could see him coughing up more and more blood, but I couldn’t stop myself from laughing at my own brother’s misery.
I picked up Six by the collar of his shirt, watching thick lines of crimson trickle down his jaw.
“I hope you’re happy with yourself and your filthy existence,” I tsked, “starting up all of this shit just because you wanted some from a girl. You’re pathetic.”
I spat in his face before punching him in the nose, Six practically losing any fight he could have possibly had in him at this point.
“You fucking asshole!” Mark yelled, standing up to push me away from Six.
“You know, kid, you’re pretty fucking annoying,” I said, pulling out a pistol. The boy’s tall frame suddenly froze as his eyes widened in fear, looking down at the barrel I had pointed at him.
All of us went silent as soon as I pulled my gun out; all three of us waiting for the next move of the room.
“You really, really do not want to mess with me right now,” I flatly stated.
“Mark, get out of here,” Six began to groan. “Get out!”
The tall boy listened to Six, quickly leaving the room to just the two of us.
Six’s body was crumpled on the ground like a bloody ragdoll, not daring to move a muscle in fear of the pain that might ensue. I knelt down to him, placing the barrel of the gun on top of his head as I whispered in his ear.
“You better get your shit together, Six,” I chuckled. “You better get it together really. Fucking. Quick.”
I got off of him and walked out of the room, shutting the basement door behind me. Once I had made it up the stairs, I noticed all the boys crowded in one group, staring at me. Like small children, frightened by a monster.
“Goodnight, boys,” I smirked, grabbing my coat and heading out the door. As I got in my car, I took solace in the silence that wafted throughout the space. Just one last person I needed to speak to. I pulled out my phone, dialing the number.
“Hello?”
“Three, I need your help.”
“Um, what kind of help?”
“I need you to get me someone who can provide me a service,” I said, picking at my fingernails.
“Two, you know I don’t do that. I do arms dealing.”
“Oh, I think this is quite relatable,” I chuckled. “Not just any service. I need a hitman.”

❝ I love you too, Jungkook. ❞
Plot: You’re an idol and you’re dating Jungkook. You show up at one of his fan sign and he says to everyone that you two are dating.
Pairing: JungkookxReader
Words count: 1,8k+
Genre: Fluff
For anon, I hope you like it cutie! - M.
Gif isn’t mine, credits to the owner! ♥
Deciding to go meet your boyfriend during a fan sign didn't seem to be any more a great idea as at the beginning. The black mask covered your face and fortunately your eyes didn't reveal much of who you were. Yet the feeling of being perpetually observed didn't seem to disappear and so the anxiety increased to every minute that passed.
But you haven't seen Jungkook for weeks, and if that was the only way to change the situation, you'd be well-born to be discovered.
"Next time I'll close you in our room." Your best friend muttered, as well as the leader of your group and the worst advocate in the world; making you smile amused from underneath the mask.
"I didn't ask you to come.. Then we repeated several times that we're their fans, even if they discovered there I know hey couldn't see anything strange... "
"YOU KNOW? I swear that if I read another article where they ship me and Taehyung I shoot myself. "
"What a bad thing Unnie.... In short, Taehyung is an incredible guy. " You whispered in response, not understanding all that boredom towards that sweet and a little crazy boy. "Then he is also extremely beaut--"
"But think of your boy!"
"You Like him! That's why you're bored by the articles.... because you're ashamed to talk to him. "
The slap that came soon after on your shoulder only made you entertain more, while patiently expected your turn to go to get the album signed.
He was as beautiful as always but he seemed particularly cheerful that day, he could even not to bully his hyung and his smile could make you completely melt. It's been seven months since you started to date and you've already figured out you were falling in love with him, but you were too intimidated and scared to confess your feelings. It was your first serious "relationship", although not yet effective because he didn't really ask you to be his girlfriend and you were both so young that you were afraid that he could run away in front of your confession.
"Jungkook-oppa!" "Jungkook, you are beautiful!" "Jungkook I love you!"
Hearing all those screaming around you didn't help your insecure soul, but you could remain calm because Tara took your hand into her and smiled at you, despite the mask you could understand it from her eyes, and you smiled at thanking subheading.
"Who's calling me oppa? I'm not your oppa! Let me see your ID card! " He yelled, his voice amplified by the microphone, bursting the fan group to laugh; "Really show me your ID card!"
"Jungkook-ah, you were to be born earlier so you could really be their oppa!" Jimin said with a funny low tone, seizing the opportunity to be able to make fun of him, having to move immediately because the youngest gave him a punch on his arm.
After some laugh and joke on their part, finally came your turn so Tara advanced before you reach the first of the row that was Yoongi.
Yoongi, oddly enough, had been the first to push you to Jungkook. He had noticed your glances during the shows, during the reality that you were doing together, and knowing that his bandmates would never have done the first step he had told you to dare. He even advised you how to approach him, always with extreme kindness. You had always thought of Yoongi as an extremely introverted and closed person and instead had been your biggest help in the first few weeks with Kooks. Sooner or later you should have thanked him in some way.
You were behind Tara when he immediately recognized you and you laid the forefinger on the mask, to make him understand that they were practically incognito. He chuckled amused, passing a hand through his black hair, while he took the album and went to the page that you had marked.
"Who's the one with you? Tara-ssi? " He asked under breath, while you nodded and started acting like the other girls. He squeezed your hands, trying to keep his laughter while talking, or at least pretending to do so.
"I'm curious to see how the Golden Maknae reacts"
"Stop teasing him, Yoongi sunbae!"
He winked at you and you passed the boy after, Seokjin, who took two seconds to recognize you in spite of the mask. Yoongi whispered to him something in the ear and he made word of mouth with others, but they didn't tell anything to Jungkook, otherwise, the surprise wouldn't really succeed.
Every time you get up you were forced to put on your shirt, you hated Tara for forcing you to wear that outfit, feeling slightly uncomfortable but enjoying the moment when you finally stopped in front of your "almost" boyfriend.
His gaze slipped over the crowd, smiling at anyone and waving every person who called him; you didn't understand the reason for all that enthusiasm and joy, but it was beautiful to look at him at that moment. So beautiful that the girl behind you had repeatedly summoned you to advance.
By making her a little sorry bow, you closed fast the gap between you two and knelt before him who watched you intrigued, giving you one of his best smiles.
"Hi" He greeted you with kindness, taking the Photobucket from your hands and you would have wanted to beat him because he still didn't recognize you.
"Why do you keep the mask? Don't you grant me to see your smile?? "
"You do this with all the fans? Do you flirt shamelessly with all your fan?!?!?! "
He opened his mouth in hearing your voice and a nuance of pink colored his cheeks, completely caught by surprise and in total embarrassment. He bowed his head while you could hear Yoongi's laughter on the other side of the table while he made a small nod to Seokjin to observe you.
"Y/N.. W-What are you doing here..? "
"I wanted to see you..."
"Don't take off your mask, I don't want you to be bothered by the fans..." He murmured shyly, returning completely in itself; "Wait for me, okay? I'll ask Sejin if I can come away with you. "
It took little for him to go from embarrassed boy to confident boy, but he was Jeon Jeongguk and that sudden change didn't surprise you anymore. His eyes shone with his own light at that moment, filled with the happiness he was feeling because of you.
"Be quiet, I can wait tonight."
"But.."
"Shh, now say goodbye to your fans and go to rest a little." You winked at him, grabbing the photo bucket and getting up you greeted him waving your hand and reaching Tara, who was in the corner waiting for you and was oddly burgundy all over her face.
His gaze was upon you, as you descended the few steps to the stage with a fast pace reaching your friend, and he thought that he couldn't be luckier than that. He knew how busy you were and the fact that you had found time just for him made him completely crazy.
He took the microphone, waiting for the fan to end with Namjoon, clearing his voice.
Hearing his voice echoed in the crates, you turned to look at him curious to hear what he had to say.
"Today is a particularly special day, you know?" He said and the crowd erupted in a scream of joy, because knowing that their idol was happy was the only thing they wanted, while he waited for that scream to decrease.
You kept observing him, while Tara next to you still seemed totally lost in her world.
"A special person came to see me and made me realize how important I am to her. I have read many articles lately, although my hyung told me not to do so, where her fans kept saying that she was perfect for our sunbae. And you know, the anger in reading those articles was so much that I hid in the rehearsal room and danced till I collapsed to the ground by fatigue. "
The other six were silenced, because they knew his torment for that situation, while your heart almost broke, becoming aware of those details that he had never told you. Sometimes he was childish and you learned how to handle that side, but you never thought he could be so strong that he could endure that kind of problem. And to your eyes, Jungkook became even more special than he was before.
He cleared his voice again and took his breath, smiling slightly; "So I started to express my esteem for her during the interviews, praising her in any way. Childish right? I wanted you to start to say that I was perfect for her because she's so amazing that I can't let her go.. And so yesterday a fan on Twitter, yeah I check our twitter every now and then, " he emphasized making everyone burst of laughing and in the meantime you tried to hold back the tears, because by now you had understood what he was to do and that for you was almost a proof of how important you were to him.
"She asked if we were dating because in every occasion I talk about her. Well.. "
You held your breath, immediately feeling Tara's hand on your shoulder that offered you support because she knew you'd start crying in some way, failing to manage your feelings. He was embarrassed, in fact, he began to scratch his neck and biting his lip while Yoongi reached him, starting to rub his shoulders jokingly around.
"In fact, I and Y/N are dating and it seemed right to me to say it, instead of letting you find some photos on internet. I hope you can be happy for me because she's an incredible girl and always manages to understand my moods.. she doesn't make me miss anything and the more time passes and the more I understand how lucky I am. "
Immediately the room was overlooked by a roaring applause, shouting of appreciation and even the other BTS began to cheer, congratulating with him to be a little man grown now.
"However you'll continue drinking milk instead of alcohol, even if you're the only one with a girlfriend" Seokjin pointed out, making you laugh, hidden in your corner.
The tears had begun to slip quickly on your cheeks, wetting the mask and he turned to your direction.
Your eyes met and he winked, mimicking something with his lips that was able to make tremble your legs.
You lowered the mask and with a wire of breath you answered: "I love you too, Jungkook."

Hey there!! CONGRATS ON 500 FOLLOWERS 👏👏👏 You deserve it so much, Aaaahhh!!! The ships you do are so detailed and in-depth and so. good. I was wondering if I could get a drabble ship with SEVENTEEN and BTS? Sending lots of love and positive vibes!! ✨ I’m very cuddly, loving, motherly in nature. Really nice a friendly to everyone including strangers, good with kids (and animals!!), polite around adults. I absolutely love being around animals and people. I tend to be very empathetic and I love to encourage people through their hard times because I have been through hard times. I love that I can let go easily like moving on happily with understanding. People tend to describe me as sweet and charming with a very quick witted sharp tongue lol. In my spare time, I dance and work-out, as well as watching movie (horror, animation and romantic comedy movies) and cooking. I love cuddling and skinship in general. I am also really family oriented. I spend a lot of time with my family. I especially really love children. I really want to get married :D and be a mom someday. If I can’t be a mom, I want to be a mother to a bunch of puppies. Thank you very much and don’t rush. Take care sweetie 💗
Hello! Thank you so much!! 💛 I am going to try to keep writing the way I do, so thank you for the motivation! Here are your ships
In SVT I Ship You With:
Woozi!
Woozi came home tired. “I am tired” he sighed as he flopped down on the bed. “You cannot be more tired than me” you replied. “Tiring day?” he asked as he scooted closer to you. “The kids drove me crazy. I was running around all day after them” you sighed putting your book down. “Perks of working as a kindergarten teacher” he chuckled. You shook your head and put your arms his shoulder, hugging him.
He stroked your arms. “Its okay. I know how much you love working with kids.” You smiled in return and sighed in contentment. “Can we order in tonight?” you asked. He nodded his head. “As you wish my prince/ss” and kissed the top of your head. “I need to go shower” he said. You let go of him. In the meantime you ordered food from your favorite Chinese place.
As Woozi was taking his shower, your food arrived. You set up the plates, and made a fort of cushions on the floor. You sat in the midst of it with the food. You heard the bathroom door open. “Downstairs babe” you yelled. His footsteps alerted you to his arrival. “Whats all this?” he asked. You shrugged in response and patted the spot next to you. He sat down and you handed him the food.
Once you both had finished, you cleaned up. He turned on TV which was playing a very random movie neither of you had interest in watching. “Y/N, what do you think of our future?” he asked very suddenly. “What do you mean?” you asked puzzled. “I mean marriage, and kids. We have been together for 4 years now…” he trailed off. “Do you really think I am leaving you that easy? We are going to have a lot of kids, a big family. And we are going to be great parents and raise beautiful kids, just like our parents did” you smiled fondly at him. “Come here” he opened his arms. You walked straight into his arms and he enveloped you in a bear hug. “I love you” he whispered. “I love you a million times more” you laughed.
In BTS I Ship You With:
Taehyung!
It was beautiful Sunday morning, with the sun shining brightly. It was the perfect day to go out with your boyfriend. But he had been sulking around all morning. He hadn’t said a word and it was worrying you. It was very unlike the Kim Taehyung you knew.
“Whats wrong Tae? Hmm?” you cooed as you hugged his sulking body supported by the armchair in which he was sitting. “I am not sure, but I don’t feel all too well. My body hurts, my brain can’t function anymore and I just...” his voice faded. “You know what you need?” you aksed. He shook his head. “You need to sleep, eat, rest” you smiled at him warmly. Unconsciously he smiled too. “You forgot one thing” he replied. “What?” you asked. “I also need you and your love” he chuckled.
“Okay this is what we are going to do. I am going to make you some some food. Then you are going to sleep, for as you need to. Then when you wake up we can talk and cuddle, and I can give you all the love you like” you finished. “You are the best baby” he wrapped you in his arms. He didn’t let go for quite some time. “Okay my big boy. I need to fix you something to eat, so let me go” you patted his back. He whined in response. “Tae...” you said in your “mom voice” as he liked to call it. “Okay fine. But you have to give me lots and lots of cuddles and kisses” he looked at you with an innocent smile, almost childlike.
He woke up sometime in the dark hours of evening. “Good morning” .“Good night” he replied making the both of you laugh.”You look so much better now. You feel okay?” you questioned. He nodded his head. “Its cuddle time” he said as he pulled you in towards him by your waist. He kissed you sweetly on your lips. He led you onto the couch. He laid down. “Small spoon?” he asked, making the most pitiful puppy eyes he could. “Okay I’ll be the bog spoon” And so you spooned him as he laid there watching tv with you. “I always knew you were a baby” you whispered in his ear. “Yea but I am your baby, and you are mine” he smiled as he tightened your arms around him and fell back to sleep again.
I hope you liked your ships. I am so sorry for posting this so late. Feel free to request again! I hope you make the day ahead of you a good one
Love

Arbitrary: Chapter 1
Definition: determined by impulse rather than reason.
Word Count: 2154
Genre: Angst/Fluff (no angst yet)
Pairing: BTS Jimin x Reader
Description: Park Jimin is a wealthy CEO from London who is on Titanic because he is going to meet his arranged fiancee in New York. (Y/N) is an aspiring ballerina from Boston. She traveled to Paris with her brother Jin for an audition, but failed to get the part, and happened to win her tickets in a hustle. Both (Y/N) and Jimin are very impulsive and tend to make rash decisions, this worsens when they meet and get to know each other.
A/N: THIS IS MY OWN RE-POST it has been over a year since I originally posted this chapter. Holy crap. I am so sorry to all those who have been waiting for chapter two. It is now finished and I will be posting it later tonight. So please reread this if you like or if this is your first time seeing it, welcome! I originally came up with this idea about a year and a half ago while watching Titanic. I hope it turns out alright. I actually will try to post new chapters more frequently now that I have my own laptop. I hope you enjoy! And like I said chapter two will be out shortly
The air is fresh, skies are clear and the date is April 10, 1912. Park Jimin looks out the glass window of his automobile and sighs. He clenches his fist so his knuckles turn white under the pressure.
“Jimin, calm down. Nothing is certain yet, we will see how everything goes when we get to New York,” Jimin’s Vice President Kim Namjoon tried to reason with the stiff light haired man as he fixes the black coat around his shoulders.
“Yeah! And you never know, maybe in the time it takes us to get there she will meet another man, fall in love, and run away with him! Then you don’t have to marry her.” A very giddy Taehyung, Jimin twin brother and financial adviser interjects. Sometimes Jimin wonders if hiring his brother to handle his money was the best idea or not, he can be quite the… excitable one most of the time… okay, all of the time, but he is great with numbers and never makes a mistake even though he never seems focused.
“Taehyung, you of all people should know that that is never going to happen for one of two reasons. One: this is a business transaction, I need this to expand into the states, and their family needs it or they will drown. Two: that girl has been creepily in love with me for over ten years. She’s finally getting what she’s been dreaming of for the past decade. A big grand wedding with the person she has somehow been stalking from across the Atlantic since she was 12. There is no way on God’s Green Earth she is backing out of this. And knowing that makes me want to put a bullet in my head.”
“Park Jimin!” Namjoon exclaims from his seat staring at the other man with complete shock that he would say something like that.
“What Hyung?! You’ve met her before! She’s the biggest most spoiled brat to live this earth. Her personality is horrendous and she tries way too hard to look ‘attractive’ when in reality she looks like a cheap whore. She reeks of that foul perfume she makes her dad import from China thinking I’ll like it because it ‘comes from my country’, when one, my heritage is Korean, and two I have lived in England since I was two years old. She wears so much makeup you could scrape it off with a fork. I didn’t even know they made that much make up! She’s heard what I consider my ideal type and tries way too hard to conform to it! I guess she missed the part where I said I wanted a real genuine girl.” Jimin scoffs.
“Then why are you going through with this?”
“Because he has to. This is the best option for him financially. Plus, at this point, if he backs out of a business transaction like this now, he will become a complete joke. No one will take him or the company serious ever again. None of us can afford that right now Namjoon.” Taehyung states in a serious tone that catches the older men off guard. “In the meantime, we have over a week before we really have to worry about any of this. Guys we are traveling to America on the Titanic! The Unsinkable Ship! I can’t wait to see what the room looks like! This is going to be legendary, the first people to sail with the great Titanic!” And he’s back to normal. Well, as normal as Taehyung can possibly get.
Jimin grins at his brother with his famous eye smile and jumps up to exit the vehicle that had previously stopped in the middle of their discussion, “You’re perfectly right Tae! I need to live in the now! Enjoy myself while I can on the most luxurious passenger ship in the world. It's time to make history men!” Namjoon and Taehyung simply chuckle at their easily exited friend, who seems like a teenage schoolboy who’s crush just accepted his courting.
“Damn Taehyung, I’ll give it to you, you really know how to cheer him up and you didn’t even really do anything. I respect you so much right now, that guy can get really irritating and kinda scary when his temper is tested.”
Taehyung responds with a boxy grin, “What else did you expect Namjoon? He’s my brother, twin brother no less. We know each other like the backs of our hands. We’re practically inseparable. We can’t function without each other. We balance each other out. And that why I’m so apprehensive about this marriage. I know I spout a lot about finances, but that’s my job. And I know I need to be loyal to it for my brother, but that’s just it. Before anything, we’re brothers. And I know for a fact that that wretched family is just using him for the money. And that vile girl hates all of us except Jimin. She’s going to manipulate him to no end. He’s going to become a walking marionette.” Taehyung slowly loses his smile as he speaks and watches his brother who is animatedly speaking with the Titanic’s loading crew in the distance.
“This is when life starts to get hard. It’s either sacrifice happiness for success or sacrifice success for happiness. It’s hard to know which the right choice is at first, but I’m sure Jimin will know when the time comes. He’s smart. Even if he does choose to marry her I don’t think she’d be able to get rid of us. Like you said, you’re inseparable, he wouldn’t let some wench take that away. Plus Yoongi Hyung wouldn’t let that happen either, those two are too close for that, he’ll put the bitch in her place. My regret is that he couldn’t come with us so she knows from the start. But I guess it’s kind of a good thing he didn’t come too. If he were to say something to piss her off and she threw a tantrum it could all be compromised. Is there any way that we could do this merge without a marriage?”
“Jimin would have to buy them out. And knowing those greedy bastards, they will ask for 5x the cost that the wedding is going to be, maybe more.”
“Damn, and that an expensive wedding, I saw the numbers on your desk the other day.”
“She’s the one that planned it, that’s why. But I guess we are going to have to deal with the fact that this wedding is going to happen.” Both men slowly make their way to Jimin so they could all aboard the ship.
* * *
“Julius! Hurry up! We’re going to miss the ship if you don’t!” the obese woman with dark hair and upper middle class clothes yelled at who (Y/N) could only assume was her husband.
“Oooooooh! You two have tickets for the infamous Titanic?” (Y/N) smirked at the man sitting across from her, “How about this, I was gonna milk you for every penny you have, which I know is a lot. But, now I’m thinking I’d rather have your two tickets.” The air seemed to thicken around the American girl’s words.
“Not happening! Let’s go Julius!” the woman interjected.
“Oh, but your husband here already owes me two hundred. If he wins I’ll let the two of you go happily and you can go on your romantic trip across the Atlantic. But, you see, my big brother and I need a way home, so if I win again, I’ll forget about the money and just take the tickets. Simple as that.”
“Fine, I’ll take the gamble. What are we doing,” the agitated woman spits and sits next to her seemingly worried husband across from (Y/N).
(Y/N) grins knowing for certain she’ll win now, she was slightly worried Julius had caught on and was going to stop his wife, but it was too late now.
“It’s simple, beat me in a strength test,” the woman looks at (Y/N) with a dumbfounded look as if she is trying to figure out how her husband lost a strength competition to some girl. But nonetheless she puts her arm on the table ready for an arm wrestle. (Y/N) only laughs at her. “OH! Julius, I didn’t realize you married a man! No Miss, this isn’t an arm wrestle or lifting challenge. But now, since I know you’re in for the wager, there’s no backing out. This is how your husband lost the money too. You both should really listen to everything a person has to say before you rush into things,” the man sitting next to (Y/N) snorts at the hypocrisy. “Hush Jin! But, no ma’am, we will judge our strength by who can stand on their toes the longest.”
“And what exactly do you mean by that?”
“Exactly what it sounds like. Are you dense or just plain stupid? I guess just stupid since you made this bet with a ballerina that been training since she was five,” Jin cut in tired of all of the idiotic people that kept making the same bet with his baby sister.
“Wh-What?! NO! I’m out! That’s impossible!”
“If you pull out you have to give me double what I want,” (Y/N) taunts, “so I guess that’s $400 and the tickets for ‘The Great Unsinkable Ship’ right big bro?” The smirk laying on (Y/N's face makes the woman shiver.
“What!? You never said that!”
“You’re the one who wanted to gamble, you’re big bad husband made the same bet for $100 and backed out so that’s why he owes me $200. So are you going to hold up your end?”
The woman glares at the two people from across her as she searches her bag for the four hundred dollars and two tickets sliding them across the table.
(Y/N) snatches them off the wood surface and lets out a squeal hugging her brother, “Jinnie! We’re going home early!”
“Thank God, I miss my bed! Let’s go or we’ll miss our boat!”
“Wait, you’ll never make it! You don’t even have any luggage!”
“We do actually,” Jin states as the two pick up their suitcases from under the table, “we were on our way from Paris to London to surprise some family before heading home and thought it would be cool to see the Titanic off on her first sail, but now we get to be a part of it! I’m surprised that you took my word for it when I said she’s a ballerina really, she is one, but I was kinda hoping you’d doubt me so I could watch you try and miserably fail to beat her,” Jin laughs.
“Okay, okay, no need to make fun of them more, let’s go Jin! They’re boarding the last few people” (Y/N) giggles as they run out the door of the pub they had been sitting in.
Jin chuckles, “Well I’ll get there quickly, you might wanna use super speed shorty! You’re a ballerina, aren’t you supposed to be really tall and not a pipsqueak?”
“Sorry I can’t have three legs like somebody!” (Y/N) fires back and Jin bursts into laughter at how his sister’s face reddens in either embarrassment, or anger, he doesn’t know which, probably both.
“Wait sir!” (Y/N) shouts out to the gentleman boarding passengers as he’s about to close off the entrance to the ship.
“Oh! You two are pretty late, just barely made it. Do you have your tickets?” the man smiles at them. Both (Y/N) and Jin grin wildly at the man as (Y/N) hands him the tickets.
“You sound American, traveling home in luxury?”
“Precisely!”
“Safe travels! Have a great trip!”
“Thank you sir!” Jin calls behind as the two rush to board the ship.
Once aboard they run to the side of the ship to watch as they leave the dock and watch as the people on the ground slowly disappear.
“Come on (Y/N) let’s look for our room!”
“I bet it’s really nice! We’re in second class!”
Jin laughs, “Wow, you really do find the perfect people to hustle. Not very lady like might I add.”
“Oh hush, I got us free tickets to the Titanic! Be grateful!”
“Yeah, yeah. Let’s go!” Jin runs off not waiting for his sister.
“Wait a second you dork! You don’t even know where you’re going! I have the tickets!” (Y/N) starts to run after him but lightly bumps into a hard surface before she gets enough momentum, “Oh! I’m so sorry!” (Y/N) bows at the light haired man to show respect.
“Oh, it’s quite alright.” The man replies, but before she can get a look at the man she sees how far Jin had gone.
“I’m sorry, I really have to go,” (Y/N) interjects before he can say anymore, and shouts out to her brother, “Jin wait a second!” and runs after the tall broad shouldered man.

Bringing Hip Hop Back to K-pop: A Retrospective on B.A.P's Career
March 3, 2019 Qing
Following leader Bang Yongguk and youngest member Zelo, who announced their departure from TS Entertainment last year, the remaining four members of B.A.P have recently confirmed the non-renewal of their contracts as well, wrapping up B.A.P’s 7-year run as a group. The news comes as no surprise, given TS Entertainment’s poor track record of managing and retaining artists, as well as the exploitative circumstances prompting the lawsuit the members filed back in 2014.
What is perhaps more surprising, and less known, are the lyrical and musical influences they re-introduced to the K-pop scene, the effects of which we continue to see in their hugely popular contemporaries, including BTS and Got7, and in rising groups like Monsta X and Stray Kids. From the moment they debuted, B.A.P carved out a sonic niche, boosted by clever marketing tactics and lyrics that boldly veered away from familiar themes of romantic love.
For sure, B.A.P’s music may not sound all that revolutionary today. But to fully understand what was unique about their sound, it is necessary for us to go back in time for a moment to consider what the K-pop scene was like in 2011, the year leading up to B.A.P’s debut in 2012. Electro-pop and synth-pop were the go-to genres for male groups—think TVXQ‘s “Keep Your Head Down”, Big Bang‘s “Tonight”, and Super Junior‘s “Mr. Simple”. Theatrical dance pop with an emphasis on symphonic flourishes and melodic choruses were also in trend, epitomised by hits like Beast‘s “Fiction” and Infinite‘s “Be Mine”. Rapping was a standard feature, but rarely the centrepiece of title tracks. Predictably, most releases at the time spoke of attraction or heartbreak.
youtube
This was the scene that B.A.P broke onto, quite literally—at the beginning of the “Warrior” MV, a figure dressed as Matoki (the group’s mascot) smashes the viewer’s screens as the group launches into their song, a gesture symbolic of the boundaries their music would transcend. With its blazing synths, shrill whistles, Bang Yongguk’s deep, growling voice, Zelo’s rapid-fire rapping, and Daehyun‘s soaring vocals, B.A.P’s musical take on hip hop was decidedly militant. “Warrior” was a deliberate shock to the senses, and whether it was your cup of tea, it was clear that it hit one of the marks of a good debut: it was anything but forgettable.
Yet there was more to the novelty of B.A.P’s debut: they brought back to the K-pop scene not just the sound of hip hop, but its socially conscious spirit. They were by no means the first group to engage with this aspect of hip hop; hip hop and K-pop go a long way back. The very beginnings of K-pop can be traced to Seo Taiji and Boys, whose idiosyncratic take on hip hop in the 1990s proved wildly popularwith youths, and Deux, a duo also influenced by hip hop. Their success spawned the creation of first-generation idol groups like H.O.T., Sechskies, S.E.S., and Fin.K.L.. Social critiques pervaded the promotional tracks of the hip hop-influenced groups, with songs like Seo Taiji and Boys’ “Classroom Idea” levelling charges at the Korean education system and H.O.T.’s “Warrior’s Descendant” lashing out at bullying.
While hip hop maintained a presence in the early 2000s through artists like Epik High and Leessang, mainstream idol groups tended to favour other genres, especially ballads and dance pop. Socially conscious lyrics resurfaced briefly through TVXQ’s “‘O’-Jung.Ban.Hap” and Super Junior’s “Don’t Don”, and Big Bang’s experimental music fused the sounds of hip hop with pop and R&B. 2PM debuted with a hip hop sound with “10 Out of 10”, but like Big Bang, they were not as interested in the socio-political roots of the genre, and shifted to R&B and dance pop for subsequent releases. So for the most part, the combination of the sound and content of hip hop receded into the background as other trends took over in the latter half of the decade.
youtube
It was in this context that B.A.P geared up for their debut, preparing to re-introduce hip hop and its social consciousness to the K-pop world. Bang Yongguk and Zelo’s pre-debut release, “Never Give Up”, gave a sampling of the lyrical content to come:
Taking thousand-dollar private lessons This system that emphasizes grades over friendships This pressure called exams This burden called college The stress that is building up Would my parents know?
The lyrics, penned by Bang Yongguk, also held a more personal element:
My dream is to hold a mic and rap But again, I grab a pen and write down math formulas today Yeah, things that we learn at school Are losing dreams and always giving up
As a group, B.A.P’s lyrics are phrased more broadly, with less targeted critiques, but a similar galvanising tone — “Warrior” is a promise to “fight for the souls in this street” against “hidden system[s]”, while “Power”gestures towards a world with no justice that “surrenders to money” and urges, “Don’t yield in front of them / Don’t do that, lift your head up / We got the power / Stand up against them and fight”. The move to bring back the spirit of hip hop that their seniors in the industry once embodied is a fact the group were conscious of—the title of “Warrior” and its opening line, “Warrior is back”, are likely nods to H.O.T’s “Warrior’s Descendant”. (B.A.P also covered the song twice, for an MCountdown episode in 2012 and the 2016 KBS Song Festival.)
Lyrics aside, B.A.P also reworked hip hop to create their own signature sound; common features included a stomping beat, whistles, an aggressive rap style, and powerful, operatic vocals. These were often interwoven with elements taken from broader dance ballad trends, such as orchestral flourishes, best seen in their dramatic 2013 masterpiece, “One Shot”. Even in “1004 (Angel)”, which is as close to a conventional K-pop dance ballad as the group ever ventured, unexpected touches like blues guitar chords, and the effective pairing of silences with vocal refrains that gain momentum and soar, lent the track the sense of power that characterises many of B.A.P’s title tracks.
youtube
The road to realising their musical niche was not, however, without its potholes. After putting out a string of sonically coherent, distinctive releases—”Warrior”, “Power”, and “No Mercy”—the group suffered from conceptual whiplash with “Crash” and “Stop It”, seeing them abruptly shed their aggressive, anti-establishment image and transforming into boys swooning in love. Another worrying sign that our writers back then had picked up on was just how over-promoted and overworked the group was.
Still, the news of B.A.P’s lawsuit against TS Entertainment in 2014 came as a shock. In a cruel twist of irony, they found themselves living out the struggle their lyrics depicted, fighting against exploitative circumstances, including but not limited to being severely underpaid and forced to work in poor health conditions. From the time of their last proper comeback with “1004 (Angel)” and First Sensibility till they reached a settlement with the company and returned in November 2015, 1 year and 7 months had elapsed—a hiatus long enough to weaken the standing of even A-list K-pop groups. For B.A.P, who had only just begun to see the fruits of their labour—”1004 (Angel)” brought them their first music show win—such a prolonged absence was, needless to say, a severe setback for their career.
BTS, who had debuted a year after B.A.P and were also pursuing the sounds and socially conscious lyrics of hip hop, had been steadily gaining traction in the meantime. It was during B.A.P’s absence that BTS achieved a breakthrough with The Most Beautiful Moment in Life Part 1, securing a leading spot in the ranks of hip hop idol groups. Given this and the sheer length of their hiatus, it was understandably difficult for B.A.P to return fully to this niche and have the same degree of commercial success. Their first comeback after the lawsuit, “Young, Wild, & Free”, pushed a message with underdog vibes similar to “No Mercy”, but musically, it lacked the same punch, despite containing some distinctively B.A.P elements and a noticeably more controlled, mature delivery.
youtube
Despite the disadvantageous circumstances surrounding their return to the scene, the group persisted in their musical growth. They ventured into more uptempo, pop territory with “Feel So Good” and “That’s My Jam”; though neither were especially experimental, both were solidly produced and infectiously energetic. They soon followed up with Noir, the best album of their career, returning to a theatrical sound with its title track “Skydive”. Longtime followers of the group would doubtless have been heartened by “Wake Me Up”, a subtle return to their socially conscious beginnings, but with a more refined sound incorporating electronic beats, beautiful hooks, and falsetto vocalisations for a stirring, dramatic track.
Although B.A.P’s final title tracks, “Honeymoon” and “Hands Up”, didn’t quite meet the standard of their earlier releases, an overview of their discography from debut to date reveals that they’ve already left their mark on the industry. Their lawsuit and long hiatus may have held them back from achieving a level of commercial success on par with their potential, but their music rarely succumbed to trends. Their earlier tracks, especially, drew attention to the possibilities and value of a hard-hitting, anthemic, rap-forward, yet strongly melodic sound.
While it’s hard to assert that B.A.P had a direct influence on later groups, their debut clearly signalled the revival of K-pop’s interest in hip hop, and the beginning of experimentations with a heavier, more aggressive soundscape. BTS would take the renewed interest in the social consciousness of hip hop in a more culturally specific direction, pursuing a cleaner sound initially before weaving in rock influences; Got7 drew heavily from hip hop street styling and beats in their early releases, but pursued a more playful, pop-laced sound. Monsta X’s discography recalls B.A.P’s blend of aggressive rapping with soaring melodies, working in contemporary trends in EDM to produce their own signature sound.
youtube
Even as B.A.P’s future as a group remains up in the air with their contract non-renewals and Bang Yongguk and Himchan‘s impending enlistment, the end of this chapter of their career is also a sign of new beginnings. Bang Yongguk, in particular, is already a step ahead with the gutting pre-release, “Hikkomori”, and his first full album, BANGYONGGUK, due out on March 15. If the other members can find a similar artistic freedom—one that TS Entertainment never fully granted them—while still holding tight to their previous drive to find their own sound and voices, the possibilities that await them will be, indeed, as powerful as their music.

diamond maknae | I still want you.
pairing: jeon jeongguk x maknae!reader ; min yoongi x maknae!reader fandom: bts warnings: eight member of bts!reader ; maknae!reader genre: angst ; fluff word count: 1.3k+ other: for other dm content, pls check out my diamond maknae masterlist
summary: sometimes we don’t want to see what’s right in front of our eyes because that would make it real. but jeongguk had to face the reality of things. and more importantly, you had to.
a/n: it’s quite angsty, but I still hope you like it babe ♥
It wasn't that this was a recent thing.
Whatever this.. thing between you and Yoongi was, it has been going on for a while. The difference was that Jeongguk deliberately turned a blind eye to it because he didn't want to admit it to himself. That the one he loved was seemingly falling for someone else and not just anyone, but his hyung.
And to make matters worse, it didn't just seem to be one-sided either.
The way Yoongi was around you made that very clear.
Tonight, however, it only really doomed Jeongguk just how close you two seemed to be.
It started out as a concert like every other, every member doing their best, fans screaming and crying while you eight enjoyed yourselves.
Jeongguk was so focused on dancing and giving ARMY the best performance possible that it took him a little while to spot you.
And when he did, he immediately stopped. Everything stopped. It seemed as if the world stopped spinning for a moment and all he could see was how you were standing right in front of Yoongi, so close that he only would have had to dip his head down and his lips would have been against yours.
The way that Yoongi smiled at you and closed his eyes for a moment as your foreheads leaned against each other and the way that you grinned so widely, like you were the happiest person on this planet.
And then it all came crashing down right there and then.
All those past moments that he purposefully ignored and brushed off and told himself that you were only friendly with each other, they all came back to him in that second and he realized that no, this wasn't just sisterly or brotherly love and it wasn't platonic either.
And the longer he thought about it, the more his shoulders slumped, the more sad he became and if it hadn't been for Jimin wrapping an arm around him and pulling him away, ARMY's surely would have started to notice what was going on.
Thankfully though, the concert didn't last much longer, he only had to make it through three more songs until the end.
Until he could stop faking a smile.
Until he was allowed to be sad, because he had just witnessed something that he hoped he never would.
He contemplated on whether or not he should talk to you right away, but he didn't want to cause a scene in front of the members. He wanted this to be a private conversation and he especially didn't want Yoongi to listen in.
So he waited until you were all back at the apartment and you in your room, before he joined you.
“Oh, hey,” you grinned happily.
Like you had looked at him.. why were you looking at Yoongi the same way as you now looked at Jeongguk?
That wasn't fair.
Jeongguk just stood there, his shoulders slumped and his eyelids heavy.
“Are you.. okay?” you asked with a worried undertone, carefully approaching him and wanting to touch his cheek with your hand, but he grabbed your wrist before you could and lowered your hand again.
“I've been so stupid.. I thought if I ignored it, it just wouldn't happen. But that's not very realistic, is it?”
“I.. don't know what you're talking about, Jeongguk,” you furrowed your eyebrows.
“I just wish you had told me.. if you had just talked to me, (Y/N)..-”
“Hey, hey, hey,” you shook your head, “I can't help you if you don't tell me what this is about.”
“Yoongi hyung. This is about you and hyung. About whatever the hell is going on between you two.”
That made you blink at him in surprise, before stumbling back one, two steps.
“There's.. nothing..-”
“Stop lying to me,” he snorted, “I saw the way you looked at each other earlier. I’ve seen the way that he always seems to be by your side these days and if he isn't, how you're looking for him, wanting to be close to him. You used to do that with me, you know? You used to look for me when I wasn't there, but now it's hyung.”
The thing is.. you didn't even realize you were doing it.
Someone had to tell you like this for you to realize what you had been doing. How you had been acting.
“Jeongguk, I..-”
“Do you love him?”
“What?” your eyes widened at the sudden question.
“It's a simple question. Do you love hyung?”
“But it's not a simple answer,” you shook your head, then closed your eyes for a moment to take in a deep breath and calm yourself down, “Yoongi and I.. he.. helped me a lot these past months. Just like you always help me and just like the rest of the members do!”
“Ah, is this you telling me that you've been playing all of us? Who else have you been making out with then? Namjoon hyung, maybe?”
“This isn't fair, Jeongguk, stop this.”
“You know what isn't fair?” he raised his voice, taking a step closer to you, “Making me think you had feelings for me!”
“But I do have feelings for you!” you yelled back, surprised at yourself that you said it out loud, because that hasn't happened before. But now you had already started.. might as well go all in, “I don't know what I'm feeling for Yoongi. I know what I'm feeling for you, though.”
“Is that supposed to make it better? That you're still contemplating on whether or not you feel things for hyung too and in the meantime I can just wait and hope that you don't?”
“What do you want me to say, Jeongguk? You wanted the truth, didn't you? There it is. I don't know what I'm feeling, except that I hate myself for feeling whatever it is.”
Jeongguk clenched his jaw, then closed his eyes and shook his head, “I'm such an idiot.”
And with that he left.
“Jeongguk, wait..-” but running after him would not make any difference now.
He was angry at you and he had every right to be, there was nothing more that you could tell him. At least not until you've figured this all out.
And it wasn't that easy.
It didn't just take one night of you thinking about it, it took you weeks until you were finally confident in your emotions.
It took you weeks to figure everything out with Yoongi and it took you weeks of not talking to Jeongguk for you to finally realize what it was, that you truly wanted.
Or rather.. who.
“Can I sit here?” you asked quietly, Jeongguk not replying to you, so you took that as a yes.
He was on his own at the rooftop of BigHit's headquarters, a place that all of you often went to whenever you had to think.
It was hard for you to see him like this, knowing that you were mostly at fault for it.
But that's why you were here.
First and foremost, to apologize.
“You deserved better than what I gave you and how I treated you. I'm sorry about that, Jeongguk.”
“Is this it, then?” he asked after a moment of silence, not looking at you, but rather the skyline in front of him, “You telling me that you want hyung?”
“No.. I.. talked to Yoongi. We both agreed that things are better the way they are now. Nothing happened between us.. not yet, at least. We want to keep it that way.”
Jeongguk gulped down hard, tried to continue looking as if it didn't affect him, but his heart skipped a beat.
“If I had known how complicated all of this would be, I never would have asked you to kiss me that night,” you let out a sigh, “I'm sorry I did.”
Jeongguk waited another few seconds before he said: “I'm not.”
He still didn't look at you when you looked up at him, but the corner of your mouth curled into a smile and you dared to wrap your arms around his arm and lean your head against his shoulder.
You closed your eyes with a smile when you felt his head lean against yours.
You had no idea what the future would hold for you two, but this was a good start.
A clean start.

Bajan Newscap 11/20/2017
Good Morning #realdreamchasers. Here is your daily news cap for Monday 20th November, 2017. There is a lot to read and digest so take your time. Remember you can read full articles via Barbados Today (BT), or by purchasing Daily Newspaper (WN).
STUART’S CHALLENGE – Spill the beans, Dale Marshall. That’s the call from Prime Minister Freundel Stuart to Opposition Barbados Labour Party (BLP) spokesperson on crime Dale Marshall who on Saturday alleged that corruption in Barbados had reached startling levels. Marshall made the disclosure at a BLP press conference where he said “corruption appears to be at an unprecedented level” and said Prime Minister Stuart should have been “ashamed” to defend the 1929 Prevention of Corruption Act as “adequate to deal with today’s problems”. But last night at the Alexandra School, Stuart tore into Marshall, saying any parliamentarian who could say “empirically” that “corruption has reached unprecedented levels is basically saying not only that corruption exists, but that he knows who the corrupted are, because you can only say it is on the increase if you know who is causing the increase”. He called on Marshall to take his information to the Director of Public Prosecutions so people could be brought before the law courts. “I challenge Mr Marshall tonight, if you know where the corruption is and who the corrupt people are, I challenge you to assert the powers of your personal convictions and put your person where your mouth is. “Do not come to me and I would not advise that you bother the Commissioner of Police with it either. Go to the Director of Public Prosecutions whom no one can instruct and demonstrate to Barbadians, for a change, that you are prepared to stand up and defend the right of this society and protect its values,” he declared as those drawn from the St Peter and St Lucy constituencies cheered him on. He also urged Marshall to show he was willing to appear before any court to back up his claim that people had been open to corruption. “I can afford to challenge him because I know the (person) I am talking about,” Stuart said to rousing applause. “He cannot do it. But what he can do is drop remarks and drop these general statements in the hope that something would stick,” the Prime Minister declared, urging Marshall to take up his challenge. He further urged the BLP to take the media on a tour of the multimillion-dollar house it was alleging Minister of Finance Chris Sinckler had built in Rolling Hills, St George, since, he said, the allegation, which was circulating on social media, came from the “polluted lagoon” of the BLP. Stuart however refused to take any questions from the DAILY NATION after the meeting, particularly on the sudden announcement of St John Mara Thompson’s decision not to contest the next general elections. (DN)
POOR HANDLING OF MARA’S EXIT – Political scientist Peter Wickham says the impending exit of Member of Parliament for St John Mara Thompson was handled badly by the ruling Democratic Labour Party (DLP) administration. “I really don’t think that is an appropriate manner to handle something as serious as representation,” he told the DAILY NATION. Thompson, who has been representing St John since January 2011 when she won a by-election following the death of her husband, Prime Minister David Thompson in 2010, announced last Tuesday, just before entering the House of Assembly for the day’s sitting, that she would not be running for St John. “The whole thing was handled very badly by Mrs Thompson the representative,” Wickham said. “If we use as a point of comparison the departure the former representative of Christ Church West Dr William Duguid when he intended to leave, an announcement was made not only to the constitutents, but he also gave the party an opportunity to stage-manage the whole process a lot better,” he added. (DN)
BANKS TIGHT FISTED – The banking industry is under attack again for clinging to its money and not lending to various sectors for developmental purposes. The most recent criticism has come from church leader Bishop Dr Marlon Husbands, of Sanctuary Empowerment Centre, who lamented that even the church was facing difficulty in getting bank funding. Earlier this month, former Prime Minister Owen Arthur chided commercial banks for not bankrolling innovation as he spoke at Innovate Barbados 2017. He said Barbados’ financial system was very liquid but functioned in a highly risk-averse manner, and was largely devoted to underwriting consumption. Husbands said the banks’ actions were part of an overall decline in respect for churches across a “new Barbados”. He was delivering the sermon yesterday during a service marking the NATION’s 44th anniversary, as well as the Ministry of Transport and Works’ recognition of World Remembrance Day For Road Traffic Victims at the Country Road, St Michael church. (DN)
BARBADOS BELOW WORLD SKILLS STANDARD – Barbados is below the world skills standard. This was revealed by Executive Director of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) council Henderson Eastmond. “It is time to revisit our national TVET policy both in the Ministry of Labour and Ministry of Education. We have to look at things differently, because if countries are going to push level one and level two in the [secondary] schools and we are now pushing level one and level two in tertiary institutions then you can see where we would be falling,” Eastmond said Friday during a ceremony at the TVET office in Hastings, to present participants in the World Skills Competition with their certificates. The Executive Director said that Barbados failed to place at the competition held in Abu Dhabi last month, which resulted in its classification as falling below the standard along with 11 other countries. However, he noted that this was a problem throughout Western countries. “Western countries, with the exception of Switzerland and Brazil, did not feature at all. It says something about our educational system, we have a traditional educational system that supports academic above the technical skills,” Eastmond said. “These countries like Korea have invested heavily in their TVET systems and the fact is that when people leave school they can leave school with a technical diploma equivalent to what the polyclinic is putting out.” Eastmond believes that skills and better training can help to maintain the standard of living in the country. (BT)
BVTB ONLY ABLE TO ACCOMMODATE FIVE PER CENT OF APPLICANTS – Only 115 of the 2313 applicants this year for the top seven programmes at the Barbados Vocational Training Board (BVTB) could be accommodated. Director of Training Henderson Thompson shared the numbers in his report at the BVTB’s graduation ceremony last evening. “Bar and Restaurant, 585 persons applied, BVTB can only accommodate 13 trainees. International Cooking, 433 persons applied, BVTB can only accommodate 18. Care of the Elderly, 300 persons applied, the programme can only accommodate 16,” Thompson said. The situation was the same for Housekeeping, Electrical Installation, Heavy Duty Truck Driving and Cosmetology. “The deficit between the number of applicants and the number of trainees accepted is a serious matter and this is why the BVTB continuously calls for land, purpose-built buildings and equipment,” Thompson said, noting that specialized training requires purpose-built space. Meantime, the BVTB, a newly registered institution with the Barbados Accreditation Council, is expanding in many ways. Minister of Labour Dr Esther Byer Suckoo announced that the Ministry of Housing, Lands and Rural Development has responded to the request for land and she hopes the process of expansion is one which will run smoothly. “The Barbados Vocational Training Board continues to fulfil its mandate to train and certify persons for employment to the extent that today it is hosting its second graduation for the year,” Byer Suckoo. “The graduation earlier this year presented the CVQ award to over 180 persons, today 221 graduands sit before me,” she said, adding that she was heartened by the BVTB’s achievements thus far. The Minister added that the demand for vocational training has certainly increased and as a result, the Ministry will assist in obtaining more space and more resources. (BT)
LOOK OUTSIDE BIMAP FOR PARTNERS – With more than four decades of management training under its belt, the Barbados Institute of Management and Productivity (BIMAP) must tap into new partnership opportunities outside the island. The suggestion has come from Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade, Senator Maxine McClean, as she delivered the featured address at BIMAP’s 39th graduation ceremony on Saturday night at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre. Applauding the 1 452 graduates and BIMAP on their achievements, McClean called on the 45-year-old institution to look to such places as Sub-Saharan Africa to branch out. She said that region in particular was rife with opportunities for training in management development services. “To illustrate, I have selected a random agency with which such a partnership can be explored. The African Management Services Company (AMSCO) is a Pan-African private sector development agency that provides customised training solutions. It focuses primarily on partnership-driven capacity and service development to assist African SMEs (small and medium/micro enterprises). AMSCO is also the implementing partner for the African training and management services project of the United Nations Development Programme. “To demonstrate the real potential of doing business with Africa, let me share some additional things. Africa has 60 per cent of the world’s remaining arable land and millions of dedicated farmers who can benefit from the assistance in the area of managing their businesses. This, of course, will ensure the enhancement of commercial agriculture and agro-processing,” she said. McClean touted the Human Resource Development Strategy of Government, initially rolled out between 2013 and 2016, which she said could be adopted and adapted for any exploration of international business opportunities. She explained that the overall objective of this strategy was to support the Government’s effort to increase competitiveness, promote sustainable growth and poverty alleviation. Its main objective was to strengthen the country’s human resource capacity, aid in the reduction of unemployment and the increase of productivity in the workplace. “In essence, I see a situation where BIMAP, partnering with a team of local institutions and consultants, can deliver services which contribute to similar human recourse development strategies, in this case in Sub-Sahara Africa,” she added. LASHLEY SAYS PSVS MUSIC MUST STOP – Government will be cracking down on those who habitually flout the island’s traffic laws, and Transport Minister Michael Lashley said yesterday that he has public service vehicle operators in his sights. Addressing a Barbados Road Safety Association church service marking World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims at the Sanctuary Empowerment Centre on Country Road, Lashley pointed out that PSV operators play music in their buses though there is a law against it. Contrary the norm in Barbados for many PSV drivers to play music in their vehicles while transporting passengers, Lashley said to much applause, “the Road Traffic Act in its present form rules out the playing of music on public service vehicles”. “There is a law. It means that we have to enforce these laws,” he added, citing Section 44 of the regulations. Lashley’s reminder that this law already exists comes against a backdrop of him presenting to Parliament last Tuesday a Bill with comprehensive changes to the Road Traffic Act as it exists now. He however made clear at the church service yesterday that his proposed amendments do not affect the already existing Section 44 of the regulations. The Minister bemoaned what he sees as “the creation now of a Barbadian that believes that he can disrespect authority, disrespect the institutions that we’ve built so far, values and principles enshrined in our constitution, and values that we were taught not only by church but schools and families and persons in the communities and that it is all well and fine, that there is no law, there is nobody that can stop them”. (BT)
COCAINE WORRY – More Barbadian drug users seem to be turning to the “white lady” as the new drug of choice, and a former drug counsellor is saying education and interdiction are the ways to the stop the trend. In recent weeks a number of people, who have appeared before the District “A” Magistrates’ Court, have confessed to cocaine possession, or have spoken about being cocaine users who had relapsed countless times after they were caught stealing. Their numbers seem to have outstripped those who have been charged for marijuana, and it is a trend that has caught the attention of a former high-ranking drug counsellor. The drug counsellor, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said there has been a definite increase in cocaine use within the last three to five years “based on what we are seeing in court reports and also in the people reporting to drug treatment facilities like Verdun House and CASA (Centre for Counselling Addiction Support Alternatives)”. FATHER SEEKING REDRESS REMANDED – The fallout from an alleged case of bullying has landed the father of the victim in Her Majesty’s Prisons Dodds. Police public relations officer, Acting Inspector Roland Cobbler, confirmed that Trevor Callender, 43, of Unity Lane, Gall Hill, Christ Church, was charged with assault and trespassing on the premises of Christ Church Foundation School. Callender appeared in the District “A” Traffic Court on Saturday and was remanded for two weeks. He will reappear in the Oistins court. Information suggested that Callender’s son, who was in second form at Deighton Griffith Secondary, was attacked by a group of students from neighbouring Foundation School outside the Church Hill, Christ Church school two Fridays ago. A voice message circulating on social media, in which the author was asking for help, suggested that Callender went to both schools to represent the interest of his son, and that the principal of Deighton Griffith called the police because he “raised his voice”. DAILY NATION investigations revealed that Callender caused a disturbance at both schools and police were called in, but it was at Foundation that his actions escalated. (DN)
POLICE MAKE BREAKTHROUGH IN INVESTIGATIONS INTO SILVER HILL SHOOTING – Police have made a major breakthrough in their investigations into the shooting death of 34-year-old Andrew Prescod of Welches, Oistins, Christ Church. A 22-year-old St Michael man is currently in custody assisting police in their investigations. Prescod and two females, 21 and 29 years old respectively, were shot while liming in Silver Hill, Christ Church with other persons on Saturday, October 21. Prescod was shot in the head, the 21-year-old female was shot in her right knee and the 29-year-old female was grazed by a bullet on her chin. They were all rushed to hospital where Prescod died a day later. (BT)

Charles Bynoe, 64, was attacked and robbed as he returned to the planation with wages and payroll for employees. During this incident, Bynoe was shot in his left foot as the assailants fled the scene with a large sum of money. Police have identified the three men now in custody as 30-year-old Jermaine Kenneth King of #274, 4thAve, Windward Garden, St Philip; 30-year-old Ramon Jamar Goodridge of Waverly Cot, St George; and 30-year-old Damien Andre Collymore of Carmichael Tenantry, St George. (BT)
SIXTH MAN CHARGED IN KADOOMENT DAY SHOOTING INCIDENT – Police have arrested and charge a sixth man in connection with the Kadooment Day shooting incident which left 23 people nursing gunshot wounds. Shakeem Romario Clarke, 22, of Golden Ridge, St George has been charged with 23 counts of endangering life and one count of violent disorder He is expected to appear in the District ‘A’ Magistrates’ Court on Monday, November 20. Elijah Copeland, 17, of Chase Gap, Halls Road, St Michael; Raheem Grimes, 17, of Chadderton Road, Carrington Village, St Michael; Tristan Alleyne, 22, of Westbury Road, St Michael; Diego Rayshawn Wilson, 17, of Spencers Gap, Baxters Road, St Michael; and 21-year-old Tosharo Ricardo Rouse, of Murphy Pasture, Chapman Lane, St Michael were all previously charged in connection with the incident. (BT)
A GRAND FIGHTBACK – Defending champions St George South produced arguably the comeback of the tournament to date after scoring twice in a minute to force extra time and subsequently prevail on penalties against St John, when the final night of the round of 16 action in the David Thompson Memorial Constituency Councils Football Classic was played at Belleplaine on Saturday night. The holders eventually triumphed 3-0 on penalties, after the scores had been locked at 3-3 following normal time and neither could be separated after an extra half-hour. Goals from Deago Gittens, Romario “Pete Pete” Harewood and Akeen Rouse had given St John what looked like an unassailable lead going into the final three minutes, with St George South’s sole reply coming from Romario Drakes. SQUASH LEADS TO VIRGINIA UNIVERSITY – Local squash player Amanda Haywood has attained a full scholarship to the University of Virginia. The 17-year-old St Michael School student, who will be studying finance, told SUNSPORT she was grateful. “I’m very glad, grateful and thankful for this opportunity because it’s kind of a lifetime opportunity to get a full scholarship for four years. I’m also very excited to go to Virginia,” she said. Haywood, captain of the Barbados girls team that won 35th Caribbean Area Squash Association Junior Championships in Guyana earlier this year, explained that it was said that the way she presented herself as an individual and as an athlete would have allowed her to be considered for the opportunity. The squash player, who also has a passion for badminton, said she was aware numerous opportunities were going to present themselves during that four years and she was open to them since they were capable of allowing her to grow as an individual and in her sport. With more than six months at home before she leaves in August 2018, she is hoping to compete in some tournaments next year. She added because she would be playing squash at university didn’t at all mean that she was not going to still play badminton. Haywood added that now was the time to play since it was expected to be even more challenging balancing her studies and training. (DN)
CERTIFIED OLYMPIANS – Now sportsmen need a medal to be recognised at the Olympic level. All Olympic athletes, including those from Barbados, can now use the post nominal designation of “OLY” at the end of their names in recognition of their sporting achievements. Two-time Bajan Olympian Freida Nicholls broke the news yesterday as a board member of the World Olympians Association (WOA) that officially launched the designation during last week’s eighth International Athletes’ Forum in Lausanne, Switzerland. “This initiative by the World Olympians Association is designed to provide Olympians with the professional recognition that they deserve,” reasoned WOA president Joel Bouzou. “By participating at an Olympic Games, Olympians have achieved something unique, and for that, they must be recognised. They are true leaders and role models in society and act as ambassadors of the Olympic movement”. A post nominal designation like PhD and MBA, the OLY recognition can be used on official documentation, CVs, business cards, letters and social media. International Olympic Committee president Thomas Bach, a German medal-winning fencer at the 1976 Olympic Games, was the first to actually receive the designation just last week. The WOA’s executive board members were the next ones conferred with the designation, making Nicholls one of the first Olympians to be presented with the new certificate of recognition. Bajan athletes seeking to receive their OLY designation can simply go to the WOA’s website under the section “Olympians” and fill out a very short registration process. The WOA will then send the registration to the IOC for a background check before emailing the applic nt with their certificate of recognition that they can download for personal use. All Olympic athletes are eligible for the designation once they have not been found guilty of an anti-doping infraction or have a criminal record. “Being an Olympian, regardless of how one placed, is a globally acknowledged accomplishment,” explained Olympic bronze medal sprinter Obadele Thompson. (DN)

YOUNG MALE ENTREPRENEURS TAKE THE SPOTLIGHT – The Bureau of Gender Affairs on Saturday showcased some of the positive efforts being made by men at the International Men’s Day Exhibition and Symposium held in Queen’s Park Steel Shed. The exhibition highlighted young entrepreneurs in agriculture, agrotechnology and the service industry. Acting Minister of Culture, Sports and Youth Senator Harcourt Husbands commended the Bureau and others men’s organization for bringing the initiative to fruition. Members of the Men’s Educational Support Association, the Anglican Men’s Association of Barbados, Men’s Health And Educational Support Group, the UWI Youth Development Programme, the Samuel Jackman Prescod Institute and the TVET Council were some of the entities who organized and participated in the exhibition. Recognizing the importance of the theme Making a Difference for Men and Boys, Senator Husbands said that it was imperative that the public not lose hope because of the negative images of the island’s young males. (BT)
ST LUCY OVERCOMES – It was all for gran. Shortly after being announced as the Most Outstanding Parish Ambassadors for 2017 at the Gymnasium of the Garfield Sobers Sports Complex on Saturday night, Daimon Rock, who along with partner Jennice King took the fifth title to St Lucy, could not control his emotions. Yes, he was overjoyed at continuing the winning tradition in the family started by uncle Tito, who took the prize for Most Outstanding Ambassador in 2001, followed by a fourth place by brother Dario last year, but the feelings ran far deeper than that. Rock said thoughts of his late grandmother, Eudine Rock, came flooding back and he could not contain the tears. “She used to bring me to this show every year, every year . . . . I did it all for her. I feel good but I just remembering her all the time,” the still worked-up Rock told reporters. As for the beaming King, it was a case of perseverance paying off. “I try so many years to get in this programme and I was never successful. And then this year I finally got in, and we faced so many challenges this year . . . . We worked so hard and I just feel good that we won this award,” she said. On their way to being crowned, the new champs also copped prizes for Best Parish Project and Productivity. In what was a keen rivalry before an enthusiastic and supportive audience, the team from St Lucy beat Francois Carrington and Keshanna Leacock from St Joseph into second. The St John combination of Kyle Prescod and Leah Howell placed third, while Reeko Deane and Shaneika McAllister of St Peter were fourth. The St Joseph team also copped two second spots in the categories of Best Parish Project and Best Project Presentation. There was no open disapproval of the winners, but there were some who felt the Christ Church team of Shenise Marshall and Raymond Thomas, who took the top prize for Best Talent Presentation and Best Formal Wear, should have placed in the top four. A most anticipated section of this show is the parish talent and there was widespread approval for the people who took the top prizes. With her Dress Code of helmet, bullet-proof vest and chastity belt to protect all the important parts, it was clear that Tamia Reece of St Michael would be in the running for prizes. She ended up with Most Original and a third for the Spirit Of The Nation Prize. The Stringed Brotherhood was outstanding in the instrumental version of Gabby’s Emmerton and deserved the prize for Most Impactful Performance. The trio also walked away with a second place in the Spirit Of The Nation. Young Akea Burton performed like a veteran and belied her age and she, too, got a deserving first prize in the Spirit Of The Nation category for her cover of Shirley Stuart’s Walk Away From Love. Co-emcee Mark Anthony had a Steve Harvey moment during the announcement of one of the categories, but it worked for good. He announced St George for second prize in the Best Attendant category, and Paula Harris was forced to walk away empty-handed after shaking the hand of presenter Steve Blackett. Harris would return a short time later in winner’s row, however. The second spot was awarded to Jacklyn Broomes of St Thomas. (DN)

kim seokjin
“I just feel like it's not working out, you know?” you've only been doing this job for three weeks, yet you were already unsure whether or not this was the right thing for you.
There was just so much stuff going on, your anxiety thriving and growing with each day and you weren't sure if it was worth it.
“Give it some more time, Jagi. Maybe a month or two and if you still feel that way, then quit,” Jin said with a supportive smile, “Just don't give up right away..”
You fell back on your bed, sighing deeply, but smiling when Jin started kissing your neck.
“What are you doing?”
“Giving you something to look forward to every day when you're at work.”
If he treated you like he had treated you tonight after each work day, you might reconsider staying there..
min yoongi
“Take my advice.. enjoy it while you can,” Yoongi wasn't too understanding about your situation unfortunately. Quite honestly, if you were less stubborn, you'd appreciate this, because it was the truth. University, compared to working, was a lot better, but in your current state, you didn't see it that way.
Essays, presentations, exams.. your schedule was packed. And you were stressed.
“Oh yeah, I'm thriving right now,” you said mockingly and crossed your arms in front of your chest.
Yoongi sighed and got up from his chair, walking over to you to gently run his hands up and down your arms.
“You want me to give you oral? Would that make you feel better?”
“No,” you pouted, still trying to be stubborn. But when Yoongi shrugged and wanted to return to his work, you quickly said, “Actually..-”
And you didn't see it, but he started grinning.
jung hoseok
“The last semester is always the worst, (Y/N),” Hoseok said, his fingers running through your hair, “I know you're stressed out, but just remember that after this you will be done.”
“But what if I fail?”
“You won't fail, you've worked too hard for this. You just need to believe in yourself.”
That was a little hard right now, stress was literally crushing you and you were suffocating from it, crying almost daily now.
But Hoseok has made it his mission to at least make the hours with him the best that you’ve had. He treated you like a queen, made sure you ate enough and gave you massages until you were moaning.. or maybe the moaning came from his mouth between your legs.
Who knows.
kim namjoon
Last year had been hell for you.
You had never studied as much as you had last semester, have had so many sleepless nights and so many mental breakdowns that you were considering taking a semester off.
“(Y/N), I know that this is hard,” Namjoon sat down next to you on the bed and grabbed your hands, “But you've done so well last year. All your hard work has paid off, you were one of the best last year..”
“But it wasn't worth it.”
“Don't say that. Come on, babe, you only have two more semesters and then you're done. Finally done. Then you can show your uni the middle finger and walk out because you'll never have to set another foot in there.”
The thought of flipping off your uni did sound kind of nice. So nice that you had to chuckle, Namjoon wrapping an arm around you with a grin and kissing your temple.
“But you do realize that I'm going to need a lot of orgasms if I do this shit show again, right?”
“Is there ever a time where you don't orgasm?” his hand was already traveling between your legs and when you moaned, he couldn't help but chuckle, because the answer was definitely no.
park jimin
“Off,” Jimin said simply.
“What?” you furrowed your eyebrows.
“Take your clothes off.”
“Why?”
“Because I can see the amount of stress you've had at work today and you need someone to relieve your stress with. And..-” he pointed at his hard dick, “I'm more than willing.”
At first you looked into his eyes, then at his dick, then back into his eyes before you started laughing wholeheartedly.
But Jimin just confidently walked towards you with a grin and began undressing you.
It wasn't rough sex, but it also wasn't romantic sex. It was comfortable sex. You two were having fun and he made you forget about work. Which had been his aim all along.
kim taehyung
“Tae.. what do you think about kids?”
Taehyung looked up from his phone with his jaw already on the floor, “Are you pregnant?”
“Not yet.. but..-”
He knew what this was about. This was about you being tired of your job and wanting to be a mom. But Tae thought you were underestimating the job of a mother a little bit too much.
“Babe, I know that you want a kid and I do too, but.. it won't be easier just because you won't have to go to work anymore. A baby is a lot of responsibility and I'm too busy at the moment to be with you 24/7. I feel like you'd be more stressed with a child than you are because of work right now.”
He was right. Of course he was right. And it was unfair to get pregnant just because you hated going to work.
You sighed in defeat and nodded, “You're right..”
“We will have a baby.. just.. not yet, okay?” he smiled and kissed your cheek, but then he started grinning in a way that made you chuckle, “But in the meantime.. we could.. practice some more for it?”
jeon jeongguk
“I really want to quit my job,” you said out of the blue, Jeongguk looking up from his food, “But then I think.. better not.”
“Is this because of your boss?”
“It's because of everything. I have so much stuff to do and not enough time and I just want to relax a little again.”
Jeongguk understood that only all too well, but the difference was that he was passionate about what he was doing and you weren't.
“(Y/N), if you're unhappy, then change your job.. you know money isn't an issue, you can take your time and find the perfect job for you.. but.. sitting at home all day..”
“I didn't say that's what I wanted, I'm just not happy with my work environment right now.”
“Then change it,” Jeongguk nodded, “I'm supporting you, you know that.”
And you appreciated that.
So much that you wanted to show him just how much as you got up a few moments later and walked around the table, kneeling down in front of him.
Jeongguk immediately started to laugh.
“I'm still eating.”
“Yeah,” you opened up his pants, “So am I..”

something out of a movie.
pairing: personal trainer!jeongguk x client!reader fandom: bts warnings: non idol!au ; sex ; light dirty talk ; public sex ; language genre: smut ; fluff ; hints of angst
summary: to think you were special was probably stupid when he had so many others like you, but there was this.. spark between you two, that always made you hope he might feel something for you too. It only took one night for that spark to become a flame..
a/n: aaaah, omg this has been in my inbox for quite a bit, I’m so sorry my love, it took me really long to find the inspiration to write this. it’s a fucking amazing request, but I’ve had so many ideas that I couldn’t narrow it down! thank you for your patience, though and I hope you like it ♥

Your feelings for Jeongguk had developed a long time ago, but you've always been really good at hiding them. The real question was.. why did you think it was necessary to do so? Mainly because you never thought he'd feel the same way for you.
He was he and you were you. He was this hot, unreachable guy that you were lucky enough to call your personal trainer and you were just one out of many clients that he had who had fallen head over heels for him. Well, the others probably only had a crush on him, but you? No, you had to go all in and fall in love with this goofy, yet wonderful man, who had always been a source of happiness in your life.
He helped you reach your ideal weight, helped you work on your body so that you were now incredibly happy with it and continued to be a supportive friend through it all.
“Is it just me..-” one more push up, Jeongguk holding your legs like always, “Or is everyone..-” another one, “Gone?”
“No, I think they wanted to close the gym early tonight. Something about an inspection, I'm not sure.”
“Oh? Should we go as well?” you asked as you were lying on your back.
“No, you're good. We'll finish this,” he smiled encouragingly, “Do another twenty.”
“Twenty?!” you said, completely out of breath and supporting yourself with your elbows on the floor, “Do you want me to die?”
“Come oooon, you can do it (Y/N).”
It's not that you couldn't do it. It's that you didn't want to do it.
“What do I get if I do twenty?”
“Abs?”
“Already got those..”
“Alright, how about.. a kiss,” he laughed, leaning forward and pursuing his lips.
See, it was moments like these that made you think he might feel something for you as well. You had often seen him train with other people and he wasn't like that with them. He was professional and never even went past small-talk. But with you.. there were these flirtatious moments..
“Deal,” you grinned, wiggling your eyebrows and then laughing when he looked taken aback, like he hadn't expected you to agree.
And while you were busy doing those twenty fucking push-ups, you didn't see him blush. Because goddamn, if only you knew that you weren't the only one who has developed feelings in this friendship. Yes, he had a lot of clients, yes, a lot of them were female and good-looking, but there was something about your personality that he just fell in love with almost instantly. It was the way you were around him. Like you never tried to impress him, but always were yourself that made him fall in love with you. The real you. He loved you when you were struggling with your weight just as much as he loved you now that you’ve reached it. Your body type never mattered. It was your personality that he fell in love with first and foremost.
And once you were done and you sat up, almost touching noses with him, he couldn't help but lean back, suddenly afraid of crossing that line he wanted to close to desperately.
“Uh.. okay. I think that's it for today. I'll.. I'll see you next week, (Y/N).”
And gone he was, pretty much running out of the room like he needed to go to the bathroom.
And you were left there on the floor, sighing heavily as you turned your head to look at yourself in the mirror, brushing your hair out of your face.
“I wouldn't want to kiss me either looking like this,” you muttered to yourself, referring to your red and sweaty face. Your insecurities about yourself had gotten smaller, but they never quite left. It was moments like these that you couldn’t help but pity yourself..
You were hurt, despite not really having any reason to be.
This probably proved that he wasn't interested in you once and for all.
So you grabbed your water bottle and your towel and walked into the changing room, then straight into the shower.
That was probably the most important thing right now.
In the meantime, Jeongguk walked up and down the changing room of the gym instructors and tried to encourage himself, “Come on, you idiot. You can do this. She's right there.. she's alone, she likes you, you like her.. it's simple. You just.. you just tell her. No, don't tell her, you'll mess up. Kiss her. Right.. kiss her, that's.. good.”
And so with one final look into the mirror, he walked into the changing room that you were in, making sure that you were dressed though.
Well, you were only wearing a towel, but that was good enough.
“(Y/N)?”
“Oh, hey,” you smiled as you turned around, “Did I forget something?”
“Yeah,” he simply crossed the room without thinking anymore and cupped your cheeks, kissing you passionately like he had wanted to do for years, “This,” is what he whispered against them a moment later.
Smooth, Jeongguk. Very smooth.
If you hadn't wanted this for as long as he had, you would have asked a shit ton of question. But you were scared that if you did, he would run away again. You were scared you'd ruin the moment if you asked.. well.. anything.
So instead, you just decided to enjoy the moment.. whatever this was, and got up on your tiptoes to kiss him once again.
He pushed you against the lockers behind you and without either of you trying to remove it, your towel dropped to the floor.
Jeongguk wanted to say something, wanted to help you pick it up again, but you grabbed his chin and shook your head, “Leave it,” you whispered, “We don't need it.”
If this was your one chance to be with him, you'd take it. You'd cling to it, probably for the rest of your life. That's how hard you had fallen for this guy.
But this wasn't a one-time-thing for Jeongguk and he'd make sure to show you that. He pulled his shirt over his head but kept his eyes firmly on yours, before he caught your lips in another heated kiss. His hands roamed over your curves, until he cupped your ass cheeks and picked you up like you were a feather.
The perks of being strong..
“You're so beautiful,” he whispered against your lips.
“I've got you to thank for that,” you giggled.
“No, (Y/N),” he shook his head and leaned back, your hands now locked behind his neck, “You've always been beautiful.”
Oh god, how long you had wanted him to say something like that to you. And how much it meant to you, that he, attractive and handsome Jeon Jeongguk, said he thought you were beautiful even before you started working out. It.. really meant the world to you.
And so with a small smile, you leaned down again to kiss him, while your feet pushed down his shorts.
And the second the fabric was gone, was the second his dick sprang free, the tip already lying against your entrance.
“You're so wet,” he murmured against your lips, “Just for me..”
There wasn't any foreplay needed, both of you already being way too ready for this. Having been for years now.
And the feeling once he was finally inside you.. it was everything and more, seriously.
He filled you up completely, stretching you out so perfectly and fitting like he was meant to be inside you.
“Fuck,” your head fell back against the locker, Jeongguk taking that moment to leave soft kisses against your throat.
And as softly as he kissed you, he began moving inside of you.
His pace was incredibly slow, clearly wanting to enjoy this moment. He wanted to feel you. Really feel you. He wanted to see how he made you feel and he wanted to hear how good it was to have him inside you.
“Jeongguk,” you moaned into his ear, your legs tightening around him, “God, I've wanted this for so long..-”
“Me too,” he sucked on a sensitive spot below your ear that had you moan a little louder, already making a mental note of that for.. future references.
Despite the slow pace, he pushed inside of you incredibly deep. So deep, that he could feel your g-spot after only a couple of minutes, grinning slightly.
“Does it feel good?”
“Yeah,” you nodded, your head still leaning against the looker, “You feel good.”
“You do too,” he pressed a kiss against your chin, smiling at you when you smiled at him.
It wasn't at all how you had always imagined it. You thought it would be rough. You thought he'd manhandle you, pull on your hair and make you call him daddy. But instead it was incredibly loving. Soft. Gentle. But at the same time, so good. It was so much better than you always thought it would be, probably because the more he looked at you, the more you could feel it. Sense it.
And he felt it too.
This was more.
Suddenly he took two steps back and sat down on the bench in the middle of the room and without having to ask, you started riding him, your hands on his shoulders, but still staring into his eyes. His hands were on your waist, guiding you, until one of his hands snuck between your bodies and gently rubbed circles over your clit.
And it was as if he was mesmerized by what an effect it had on you. The way you bit your lip as pleasure washed over you and the way you tried to hold back your moans, but couldn't as soon as he applied pressure.
All of those images would forever be branded into his memory, hoping that he'd make more of them with you in the future.
“I'm close,” you moaned, moving against his hand.
And with a slight faster pace, he brought you over the edge, arching your back, as you clawed your fingernails into his shoulders, moaning your name as your orgasm washed over you.
Jeongguk himself couldn't help but moan either, with the way your walls started contracting around him.
“Shit,” he inhaled sharply, “Fuck, I'm close too..-”
And because you were already close to being overstimulated, you decided to get up from the bench and down on your knees instead, taking his dick into your mouth a moment later and finishing the job with your mouth.
And even if he didn't want to cum into your mouth, you wanted him to and made sure he came while your lips were firmly wrapped around him.
You didn't pull back, but took him in as deeply as you could as he came inside you.
“Fuck, (Y/N),” he brushed your hair back and watched you lick up every last drop of him, smiling as you swallowed it all, “You really did that.”
“I wanted to try it all.. at least once,” you got up from the floor, but before you could walk away, he wrapped his arms around your legs and kissed your belly.
“Go out with me..”
“Usually the sex comes after the date, you know?” you chuckled, brushing his sweaty hair back.
“Well, at least now we know what to look forward to.”
“So.. this wasn't a one-time-thing for you?”
“No.. definitely not.”
“Good,” you leaned down and tilted his head back to gently kiss him, “That's good.”

summary: what he wanted was someone he could have casual sex with. what he got, was a co-worker that he wanted much more from.
a/n: I literally posted part 2 and had to write part 3 the same day, even if it’s probably been a while since I uploaded part 2 and this will be sitting in my drafts for a while but omg, so inspired rn hahaha. hope you like it! - editing update: I was correct, it has been sitting in my drafts for a while lol(masterlist is in my description box)
“Hey Yoongi,” a regular walked up to the cash desk where Yoongi was currently sitting, texting someone on his phone, “Where's the pretty girl that works here now?”
“What's it to you?” he replied, not looking up, but continuing to type instead.
“Well.. it's just.. I heard she's really beautiful and I wanted to see her.”
“To do what exactly? She's not exactly your age, you know?” finally he looked up, his stare cold as ice, “So don't bother flirting with her,” his voice wasn’t angry, just filled with the right amount of threat for the guy not to try anything with you.
That was exactly the moment that your cheerful voice echoed through the store, a smile as bright as the sun itself on your face as you greeted Yoongi happily, “Hey! I brought you coffee!”
His heart skipped a beat at that. The fact that you cared enough about him to get him coffee in the morning.. and here he had been at first, completely against the idea of having a co-worker.
“Thanks,” after he had made sure that the guy was far enough away from you, he was able to relax and smile at you, “How was your day?”
“Oh, you know.. uni. Nothing exciting. How was yours?”
“Yeah, same,” he nodded, taking a sip from his coffee and looking back down to his phone when he got another new message.
And you knew it wasn't your business because you had only just started working here and Yoongi and you literally knew nothing about each other, but it was both curiosity and maybe even a bit of jealousy that made you ask: “Your girlfriend?”
“Girlfriend? No. No girlfriend.”
“Oh,” you had to bite down on your tongue to stop yourself from smiling.
It was good to know. Not that you thought about flirting with him or something like that, but.. you know..
However, what he didn't tell you was that the girl he was texting was someone he met on Tinder.
He doubted you'd be thrilled to know that he just scored a sex date tonight and it wasn't exactly something he wanted you to know in your first week of working here - or ever, to be honest -, so he decided to turn off his phone instead and give you his full attention.
“So.. a few new porn movies came in earlier. You could sort through them and put them in the racks if you want to?”
“Sure, I can do that,” you smiled with a nod and walked into the back of the store to get the porn movies that he mentioned.
And as soon as you were gone, the customer from before returned to Yoongi and said: “She's drop dead gorgeous.”
“And too young for you, for the second fucking time. Now buy what you want to buy or leave. I don't want you lurking around here and staring at her weirdly. Got it?”
It almost sounded like he was a protective boyfriend now.
God, why was he looking out for you so much? And why was it so important to him that you were always safe and that other guys didn't look at you weirdly?
Did all male co-workers do that for their female colleagues? Probably, right? It was normal..
You did what Yoongi had asked you to do and actually spent almost an hour on sorting through the movies. You'd be surprised how many new porn movies came out a day.
After that was done, you decided to fold the lingerie nicely again.
Truth be told, some of these things were actually really cute.
And if you had a boyfriend – or a sex life – you might lean towards wearing some of these, you thought as you picked one up and stared at it with a smile.
Yoongi quickly averted his eyes and shook his head, trying not to think about what you would look like if you wore one of these.. while you were teasing.. him.
Fuck, stop thinking about it, you have a date tonight. Focus on your date, don't focus on her.
He turned on his phone again and decided to sext the other girl in hopef of getting his mind off you, while customers were occasionally coming to him to pay for things. It distracted him slightly. Not enough to fully get the picture out of his head, but enough for him not to run around with a boner when he got up from the cash desk and helped you with a box full of new toys.
“Why are these so heavy?” you asked, completely out of breath.
“It's the fists.”
“The fists? Fists for what?”
“Well.. fisting.”
Here's a pro tip. If you're a virgin, don't know shit about sex and are a shy mess when it comes to kinks? Don't work at a fucking sex shop.
You immediately panicked and took a step back, letting go of the box, so that all of the 'fists' fell out.
Luckily no customers were around to witness it and Yoongi thought it was rather funny.
“I take it that's not up in your to-do list, then?” he crouched down and started picking them up one by one again, placing them back into the box.
“People.. they.. but.. where? And how?”
“You really don't know?” he furrowed his eyebrows and cocked his head to the side, “I thought people that worked here needed to be kinky.”
Oh wow. Here we go.
You instantly looked away, a blush spreading from your cheeks, to your neck, all the way down to your chest.
“I.. well.. it's, you know.. complicated.”
“How so?” he asked, his voice not filled with judgment, but with interest, “Are you a virgin, or something?” Yoongi laughed, as if he wasn't quite believing it himself. But when you didn't answer and only stared at your feet, his eyes widened and he shot up straight like a bullet, “Hold on.. seriously?”
“It's not a big deal, you know? A lot of girls my age are and.. I know that most of them don't say it, but well.. they are,” you pretty much tumbled over your words, thinking Yoongi would laugh at you.
But he didn't.
There was this wildly spread misconception that guys didn't like it when girls were still virgins. That they thought it was embarrassing and pathetic, when in reality, most men actually did like it.
Not just the fact that if they became your boyfriend, they'd have the privilege to be your first, but because it meant that you respected your body enough not to just sleep with a guy for the first time because everyone else wasn't a virgin anymore. It meant that you were smarter than most girls who did it just so the status of 'virgin' would be gone.
“You don't have to defend yourself for it, you know? I was just surprised..”
“Why?” you asked, your voice an octave higher.
“Well, I told you before that you're really attractive and I don't know if you've ever had a boyfriend, but.. if you didn't, then the guys you hang out with are absolutely stupid not to see what a great girl you are.”
The corners of your mouth curled into a smile as you finally looked back up at him, “You think so?”
“Yeah. Personally, I think it's great that you are. It just means you're waiting for the right person or don't want to just randomly sleep with someone to not be a 'virgin' anymore. I like that. Makes you an even cooler person, in my mind.”
Yeah, and you know what else it did? It made his fucking heart swell in his chest.
And that was a fucking issue.
How come this just added to the list of reasons why he liked you more than he should? The idea that you were still 'pure' and that if he was ever lucky enough to be with you, he might be the first to touch you and..- god he should really stop thinking about this.
“Thank you. Really,” you had been so insecure about it for so long. But to hear someone like him say something like that.. it felt good, really. It made you see that no, not everything is about sex.
“How about you let me handle the fists and you do the cash register in the meantime? I think most people just want to buy porn or lingerie for now anyways.”
“Yeah,” you scratched the back of your head, “I think that'd be good.”
You'd probably get accustomed to it eventually. You had to. But for now, it was probably the better decision to let him deal with the hardcore toys.
“Hey!” Yoongi walked into the living room of his frat house, all of his members currently drinking and enjoying themselves, “I told you to get lost, I'm bringing a girl over and I don't want you people sitting here like losers and drinking beer. I want her to at least think that we're one of the cool fraternities.”
“Oooooh, hyung is finally going to get laaaaid,” Taehyung laughed as he got up, clapping him on the shoulder as he ran past him into his room.
The others soon followed, all laughing and clapping him on the shoulder as well.
All but Hoseok.
“How's (Y/N)?”
“Seriously? You want to talk about her now? When my date comes around any second?”
“Yeah, why not,” he shrugged, crossing his arms in front of his chest, “You came home today smiling like an idiot. I think it was because of her.. am I right?”
“Hoseok, I'm not letting you ruin my sex night by talking about my co-worker. So do yourself and me a favor and go.”
“A tinder date versus our pretty co-worker.. and you go for the tinder date,” Hoseok sighed as he walked towards the stairs, “You're falling lower and lower, my friend.”
He knew that.
And if he wasn't so goddamn horny and needed to fuck someone hard against a wall right now, he would have taken the effort to really get to know you.
Actually, he still might do that.
But now that he also knew you were a virgin, he knew that if he actually did end up dating you – for whatever reason – he'd have to wait even longer for sex.
And he just really needed it now.
With one final glance in the mirror and a bit more perfume on his neck, he walked over to the door and let his date in.
She was as pretty as she was on her profile picture, had dressed up nicely enough, but then again, both of you knew why she was really here, so she had worn something that would be easy to take off.
Still, he didn't want to be rude.
He invited her into the living room and turned on the TV, both of them talking for the first hour, until he slid closer and closer.
And then they were finally making out, Yoongi pulling her onto his lap as she began to move back and forth on his already hard penis.
He let out a breathy moan, the girl grinning as she leaned down to his ear.
“Bedroom?”
Oh god, how long he had waited for someone to say that to him again.
Yoongi didn't wait for another invitation, he grabbed her ass and picked her up, carrying her into his bedroom and falling onto the bed with her.
After that everything became a little blurry.
He remembered clothes being taken off, remembered fingering her and then all he could remember as his eyes were closed and she was sucking him off was..
“(Y/N),” he moaned, his hands in your hair.
No.
Her hair.
“(Y/N)?” she asked, immediately sitting up, “What the fuck did you just say?”
“I.. I said..-”
“I'm giving you a blowjob and you think about another girl? Dude, what the fuck?!”
“No, wait, I didn't..-” but she was already getting dressed again.
And he didn't even have one freaking orgasm.
And a moment later, he could hear her slam the front door closed and he was left lying on his bed with his hard penis flat against his stomach and him staring up at the ceiling of his room.
“I fucking hate my life,” he whispered to himself, as he wrapped his hand around his shaft once again.
