Of course I'd finally mentally work out the intro chapter to a fic I've been rotating for ages, on the morning that I have to go back to work asdfgsdfghfg.
#We had allllllllll last week and now it clicks in HUH??#(It's a thriller in genre but also pkmn so I know I'm writing it for me at this point but I'm writing it anyway lmao)#(It's technically universe appropriate b/c I'm going off the back of some of the more ''fun'' pokedex descriptions like Phantump's)#(But the base is 'Protag doesn't hear from family for a while and decides to go back home to check up on everyone/finds village empty')#(and OF COURSE it's on a 'long trek to get to island where communication can get spotty anyway' lol)#(Protag is armed with only a kanto meowth and a rotom phone -- and occasionally Nanu when the calls get through)#Lozz blah blah
