Coffee Rant

Full disclosure: I’ve worked in the food service industry. 

Call it one of my pet peeves but it drives me nuts whenever I see people pour out coffee right after they ordered it! Literally pouring money down the drain (or in this case the garbage).

What? You received more than you paid for?

Oh, it’s too hot? Poor baby. God forbid you blow on it and then take a sip or two.  

And don’t get me started about how inconsiderate that type of behavior affects the staff at whatever Starbucks/Dunkin Donuts or any other establishment that serves coffee. As if emptying the trash isn’t bad enough but making it tougher by filling the bags up with coffee is just bullshit.

How many times in life do we get more than we pay for? Ugh. I know I might sound like a lunatic but I just think this type of behavior is symbolic of our society nowadays. 

I dunno maybe I’m wrong. That’s just how I feel.
