Ikora Rey is a Magical Girl confirmed and is Space Mom towards her Warlock Guardians, especially younger ones.

She's also a magical girl in her original life before she was brought back to life. She was pretty bad ass back then and was into space when she's younger. Her alter ego name was Starry Ikora and she had hair with colorful star pins and her theme colors were Purple and Black.

She doesn't have hair anymore but hopefully Bungie has something in mind about her original life. I mean, I know she's pretty bad ass with Crimble (I can't spell, sorry), but holy shit! Please Bungie, I want to know her OG life!

my guardians of the galaxy project... im calling it guardians of the galaxy: remix. i've been obsessed with this franchise for the past month and wanted to do my own spin on the characters. maybe ill make some posts going in-depth on their character and backstory changes LMK if you want that.

peter quill is a man child space cowboy in denial of his responsibilities and the fact that he's getting older. gamora is socially and emotionally stunted as a result of the whole daughter of thanos thing and is kind of finding herself again. rocket raccoon is unchanged and perfect. drax is a symbiote puppeteer-ing a dead guy (WITH CONSENT!!!!). rocket raccoon is mostly unchanged. groot is the ship. adam warlock does the cooking AND the cleaning

This has got to be one of my favorite shots of the whole movie. Because I mean, look at him. Look at this little dummy, this actual baby, witnessing happiness and family for the first time in his life. All he wanted was to belong, and now he does.
