And 2 becomes 3

I have been going through my outline for Coffee on a roof and with how much content there was. I may have possibly come to the conclusion that the main story of this series would actually be better in three parts. 

Technically I could just put everything into this one AO3 fic, but the vibes. TIAB had a vibe and so does COAR. Up to a certain point of the outline it fits but then it starts to not ‘fit’. And I do love to have nice organization so a third part seems like it will have to be added. 

Already came up with the title for the third part and so far, it just clicks in my head which, very nice :)

But now I gotta actually restructure my google doc and folders. That along with ordering things properly in the outline since some events will be pushed back or moved around. That’s the annoying part for me personally and cause of that, writing for the next chapter of COAR is kind of on hold seeing as things are up in the air. Makes me miss when I was literally just making shit up on the go with TIAB typing away on my phone while on a trip with the fam.

Even though it’s annoying it is also kind of relieving too. To be able to make a big story a bit smaller so it isn’t as overwhelming or as complicated as it seemed in my head. Also, there is the cool bonus of vibes. I love when I can maintain the vibe I was going for in a story. :D

HAHAHAHAHAHA just posted chapter 11, a nice chapter of 4,400+words >:)

The drought has ended! But yay feel much better having posted that and reaching one of the significant points of the story.

Still gotta work on the outline and so on and of course the next chapter which may take a while. But still feeling good. :D

On that note, I also made decent headway with multiple chapter drafts for the 'Wait, I'm a what?' dc x dp fic. Good time, good times, thank Beatrice. 💙✨️

After MANY MONTHS and my brain hooked on dp x dc stuff, I finally freaking managed to work on my bnha wip chapter draft for ch.11 of Coffee on a roof.

Technically, I already had a first draft, but very bare bones, in my opinion, and in need of major rewriting and editing. Usually, the first draft is pretty fleshed out, but ch.11 was giving me some trouble.

But today, by the Grace of Beatrice, I actually wrote what would essentially be half of the final version of ch.11 that I would post on Ao3. I'm sure there needs to be edits cause of misspellings and some other edits but essentially, it's halfway done.

Funnily enough, the 2nd half is much more fleshed out in the first draft, so there's not much needing to be done other than building onto that and, of course it's actually good enough and fits it with the rest of what I have written.

I'm hoping to meet a word count of at least 3,000, and from the looks of it, I think I'll meet it. It would be nice to be able to post a longer chapter after almost 6 months since the last update (December of 2022). Poor readers, I got a few comments about if I had abandoned the story. XD Sorry, my lovelies, I'm just slow.

Seriously, the dp x dc got its claws in me and did not let go.

I have a lot planned and outlined for Coffee on a roof. Kind need to reorganize that whole mess that's not really messy but feels messy. Either way, I'm invested in completing the story so no abandonedment is happening. Tho can't promise it won't take a long time. Still can't believe I finished TIAB so quickly, tho a lot of that was just free writing it in the sense that things weren't really planned at the beginning.

Things are a bit more complex with COAR and I'm really wanting go make sure it comes out good seeing as it's the 2nd major part of the main story. Gotta make sure it connects and all that jazz with the details and so on.

Kinda stressful tbh with the attention TIAB got, but I try to ignore that, less I want to feel the crushing weight of being perceived and judged...no biggie (I am small and sensitive)

Anyways, just feeling happy bout the progress that was made today. Feels nice.

Also, I just gotta remind myself that writing fics isn't my job or obligation. It's something I do for fun and enjoy. Gotta make sure I keep it that way :p

*FYI Beatrice is a character in one of my other bnha wips that has yet to be published and probably will be a big project if I ever get to rlly work on it. It's a whole chaotic quirked 'doesnt die' Izuku style fic (gotta love having multiple cakes). And to specify, Beatrice is a possum...no I will not expand on that.

I updated Coffee on a Roof!

This chapter titled Dog-piles and Cat laws.

Pretty fluffy and we get to see some lov interaction.

I have draft of the next two chapters but they still need some work.

I am delighted to say that I have come up with the preliminary main points of the rest of COAR which is SO HELPFUL for my brain.

I have to resist listing out in detail all the plot points and points below that point and more points. I had to think simpler in terms of it. And with that, there are basically 10 points to COAR. 4 of which have already been reached with the latest updated chapter :D

I am very pleased.

Also, the title of the third part was changed into something that is just djtdjgsjgsjgdjg perfect in my head. Before it clicked and was 'oo nice', but now I'm 'oooo nice'. Like I feel like an evil mastermind whose plan just fell into place.

Overall, just good stuff and a mental roadblock fucking jumped over this lovely day. Thank Beatrice <3
