horrible thought: but Gaia saying this from Moana to Percy when she doesnât even know sheâs a goddess
Far from the ones who abandoned you Chasing the love of these humans Who made you feel wanted You tried to be tough But your armour's just not hard enough
Yes
Omg yes.
Gaea has a phd in being Disney villain coded and tormenting Percy (Iâm listening mother gothel song and thatâs literally just Gaea about Percy in WTHB).

Mother's eyes
Sketched f!Percy and Milo to relax a little. Still struggling to draw f!Percy consistently, but she had to look younger because Milo isn't much older than three years old in this, so Percy is around 20-21 (*plays a mitski song and cries thinking of how young she is*). In the previous drawing she's the age she has in WTHB, which is around 26-28 (I'm deciding which fits better, because it depends on how old the boys are and I'm not 100% sure yet, so a I have different versions)
Yes, she's wearing a laurel wreath. You can cry, Gaea.
I love Milo... He's so cuteeeeeee

There are so many reunions to look forward to in WTHB: Percy and her babies/Apollo and his babies/ Percy and Apollo/Percy and her family/Percy and Annabeth, etc.
But none of them - none of them - fills me with as much unending joy as a hypothetical meeting between Sally Jackson and Gaea.
Sally takes one look at Mother Earth and decks her right in the face. Just punch after punch after punch. Forget Rachelâs titan-slaying blue hairbrush - Sally doesnât need tools when she has hands đ .
Just⌠Sally meets Gaea and itâs over for that daughter-stealing, manipulative bitch. The Second Gigantomachy is over before it can even properly begin.
My queen Sally beating the shit out of Gaea would be ⨠the moment â¨
With Poseidon cheering her up. Thatâs simply perfect.
No one (except maybe Percy herself) deserves to get that revenge.

Tbh with the WTHB x Athenide fusion everything could have been avoided (The prophecy of the triplets) had Zeus not made Perse fade back in WW||, so at the end of the day isn't everything his fault?
Also, Apollo has finally gotten with the goddess of his dreams but nothing ever seems to go right for this man lmao
Yeeees â¨â¨â¨
Like, if she never faded in the 40s, the triplets simply wouldnât exist and probably Apollo and her would keep her pining.
We didnât get to the point in which we understand how Percy and Apollo got together in WTHB, but I really wanted her to have agency and not just Apollo being the one to endlessly pursue her until she was too tired to say no. Weâll get to how this played out, but she wanted to be there just as much as him.
In WTHBxATHENIDE AU, a few things would have to be different, but not as much, because Percy was interested and she would make the first move in that context.
AND THEN SHE IS STOLEN AWAY BY GAEA AND EVERYONE FREAKS OUT BECAUSE PERSE IS GONE AGAIN.
Maybe the one different thing is that everyone would immediately suspect of Apollo, but putting that aside, the biggest change is that Athena would not back Zeusâ very desperate choices (that she only does because WTHB Athena is veeeery emotionally attatched to her dad, something that TTG Athena isnt because of â¨reasonsâ¨)
Alsoooo, a few things going on with WTHB Percyâs mind because of Gaea, but imagine this being Gaea being the reason Percy cannot retrieve her memories as Athenide.
Oh, the TASTE.

In the wthb au, just how strong is Percyâs powers? Considering the war with Gaea hasnât happened yet sheâs weaker than if it did? Or is it stronger because sheâs older? Does she have any powers anymore?
Well, Percyâs powers have their own storyline going on so I can answer đŹ
But theyâre different from previously, thatâs for sure.

What exactly was Hera/Junoâs plan in regards to Jason and Percy had none of the WTHB plot happened (ie. Percy falling pregnant and being ârescuedâ by Gaea)? Would we just have followed canon or would she have spiced things up a little by kidnapping the two of them, erasing their memories and just shoved them together somewhere like a Ken and Barbie doll, *now kiss*! Would we have a Jercy ending? Would The Little Three become The Little Three Graces? What about poor Apollo?
More or less, because Gaea is much quieter in WTHB (if we donât count her kidnapping Percy and all) than she is in canon. She doesnât want attention, yk? So Hera probably thought she had more time to set things in place, like, a few decades more.
Things wouldnât happen so hastened as they did in HoO. Think, even with Kronos (I donât remember the exact timeline rk, but give or take) it took at least 4-5 years just to get himself a body. Gaea needed to bring a lot of people from Tartarus, and doing it right after the first war would be a bit on the nose, since the gods were probably wary of what was happening there.
Gaea stayed as subtle as she could, and gave the gods one year of âpeaceâ so theyâd have the false feeling of security.
Yeah, Hera would probably put Jason and Percy together. But that would be much different, sheâd make it much smoother for both instead of just throwing them memoryless into a school bus. Sheâd probably make it as real as possible instead of simply making up memories for them.
Also, Leo and Piper get to camp in 2010. Hera was keeping an eye on them, but also letting them train and develop their abilities before throwing them in a war. Also, Frank and Hazelâs story happens in a different way from canon, too.
And no, the little three wouldnât be the little three graces 𤣠Even in this universe in which Percy did meet Jason, sheâd already be a mom. Also, sheâs way to involved with Apollo to find herself another blonde.

So, really enjoying Sad Beard Man Jason, I'm looking forward to seeing him soon. I feel like I can kinda guess his backstory: maybe Juno did the whole memory thing to him again, and he went to Camp Halfblood and that somehow led the to destruction of the old camp (my brain isn't letting me read the most recent chapter, so if you already said something like this, i swear its just a guess). Anyway, not to be Hera about it, but any chance of Jercy in this fic? I know its Perpollo, I want it to be Perpollo, but Jason is such a Sad Beard Man, he needs something good in his life and what's better than the most beautiful milf in the world and step-kids that are guaranteed to hate their bio-dad more than him?
Well, Jason's storyline in WTHB is strongly liked to the fact he never lost his memories. In this world Gaea created, the seven are in different sides of a war and they have strong opinions on each other already, because Hera never had the chance to start her plans. Jason is in a veeeery different position than he was in canon.
As much as I love Sad Beard Man Jason, I fear Percy is very much taken. She and Apollo are the embodiment of "matching each others freak", and y'all start to see it soon. Not that Jason won't have a crush on Percy. I mean... I MEAN!!!!! Unfortunately for him, there's already a blonde in that heart...

What do you think "When the Horizon Blooms" would have been like if Apollo HAD kidnapped Percy? Like the world is still falling to shit because Percy is missing, but it was Apollo who kidnapped her, not Gaea?
I mean, things would be much different. In this case itâd be less of a kidnapping that it is with Gaea, because WTHB Apollo wouldnât be gatekeeping info from Percy like Gaea does. Also, she wouldâve accept run away to protect the babies. So itâs more like an eloping sort of thing, and Poseidon might be mad about it.
Still, I can see Poseidon getting mad etc, but the level of destruction of WTHB is really a consequence of the absolute lack of information. So itâd depend about how much the other gods know. Would Apollo keep it as an absolute secret? Then yeah, I see the world getting destroyed to that point, but I think Percy would want to step up at some point and ask her father to stop, tho idk how.
But the thing is that theyâd (Perpollo and the boys) be very happy living their best lives đŠ I wish he had raised the triplets

I know is going to take a few chapters until we get to see Percy and Nico reunited but they both think that the other hates them just makes me cry man, Percy thinking Nico doesn't want to see her after everything and Nico thinking he was abandoned and then replaced, my mind is just imagining situations and that poor boy wondering why he wasn't enough đ˘ đ
I just know I'm gonna cry a lot when we get to those chapters, though that makes me question on how their relationship would have been if Gaea didn't intervene, maybe always joking on how he is the favorite and was there first
Very delicate topic!!!! (To me)
Like, Nico has no idea SHE left, as far as heâs concerned, sheâs been taken by someone and is now out of reach. Technically, thatâs what happened but Percy herself is yet to find out.
But then, the whole thing about WTHB Nico is that he was much more emotionally attached to Percy than his book counterpart. Not that book Nico didnât care about Percy, I obviously donât think that, but because the Giant War doesnât start immediately after the end of the Titan War, these characters had about an year and a half to get live their lives in a âpeacefulâ environment, and he finally got to live a ânormal lifeâ.
One day, Percy simply wasnât there anymore.
IF things had went differently, I donât think heâd react positively about this pregnancy at the beginning. Firstly, because heâs a demigod and he knows what being a demigod means. This shapes the opinion of many characters. Then, he developed a relationship in which sheâs pretty much the only maternal figure he has, but also sheâs occupying the place of a sister. With a baby in the picture (in this case, three) is natural that heâd feel somewhat threatened, specially considering Nicoâs abandonment issues.
I think Percy would try to work it out with him, but heâd feel hurt at first.
Then, once the babies are born, I do think heâd soften a little. Still, I donât doubt there would be a feeling of competition, for she canât give him as much attention as before.
Eventually, I can see him assuming this âolder brotherâ thing and taking everything more lightly, and maybe being part of a big family would make him feel less lonely after everything he went through.

CHEEEEERS IM ALMOST FINISHING CHAPTER THREE (Dust in the Wind) FROM WTHB
Here a snippet, this chapter is very much about Percy and Gaeaâs relationship, that's the reason it's taking so long I guess⌠Kinda hard and dense to write.
Gaea was cold, but gentle. When she visited, sheâd rock Percy to sleep and there wouldnât be nightmares. The pain she afflicted was something that soon became welcoming, grounding, for it was nothing compared to being violated and tortured with the knowledge her sons would face the same. Or worse. Mother Earth called Percy her sweet child, smiling as she dolled her up with flowers and gemstones, singing songs of ancient times and kissing Percyâs cheek when she correctly pronounced the words she was being taught, giggling at her pronunciation and helping her stand and walk once her belly had grown too heavy. Percy could stare at her for hours, in absolute awe. She looked just like her mother. Just like Sally Jackson.

I don't know why but I can't post a review on ao3 so I want to share my thoughts here if that is ok with you! I didn't really enjoy the giants in HOH, Gaea was too easy to kill, she was awake for like five-six pages and that was all (Kronos was a better ennemy imo) BUT I think your Gaea seems more strategic, patient and dangerous! She takes her time and I'm curious to see what you've planned for her!
I also hope the triplets won't be too mad with Percy keeping them away from the real world, like she has imprisoned them somehow :( I really enjoy the codependency between Percy and her sons (especially Luke, but I do think Milo and Hector are too) - I really like codependant relationship in ff! I hope they'll protect their mama and I can't wait to see them more powerful hehe.
I do not know if I missed it, but do we know Dennis' mom?
I hope you are ok and you had the time to relax yourself after this last big chapter you posted!
I felt the same reading HOH đ
Sheâs supposed to be a bigger threat than Kronos, but the giants war feels much more rushed and itâs even hard to tell whatâs going on sometimes. Like, I keep rereading HOH to remember things that I have to write, because a lot happens so fast and/or simultaneously. Gaea in WTHB is really taking her time in WTHB, and so far she got the gods to self-destruct while she does her things. However, she is taking some things for granted and theyâll come back to bite her đ
In a way, all the boys and Percy are codependent of each other one way or another, and theyâre deeply connected. Their growth in the story is deeply connected to finding their own sense of self (in Percyâs case, retrieve hers).
Dennis mom was a nymph follower of Dionysus. But he was never very close to her, Pollux being his primary caregiver until his death. Then he became Annabethâs heir and, technically, foster son.
Thanks for commenting đ

Thanks for answering my previous ask! My anxiety is easier to deal with when people are kind even though I'm also shy 𼚠I hope everything went well with your exam!
I mean Luke wouldn't ever consider Gaia an ally, in fact I'm sure that his hatred would only fuel up his plans to try and backstab her đ
I do love a happy ending so ofc I like imagining Percy seeing her kids are alive and getting therapy; as well as imagining Hector and Milo, who have been out in the world for years, teaching Luke everything there is to see (very disney like đ)
Btw, I thought someone would have mentioned it by now? Like we all know Annabeth is the last person who saw Percy but in chapter 3, as she is thinking about what she regrets not doing for her friends before leaving (like breaking her promise to Nico), she mentions (and I quote) "Percy would be forever sour that she never told Annabeth she wasnât really mad at her".
Does that mean that, not only was Annabeth the last person to see her, but also, that their last conversation was an argument or even a fight? đĽş
(Also, the Olympians would have more than two nickels for the scarred Luke's considering their demigod history before Percy đ
)
âĽď¸OnceMika
Youâre welcome đ
Luke is hard to conquer đ people will look at that chubby face, rosy cheeks, blue starry eyes and think heâs a cinnamon roll⌠well⌠He was slapping Gaea off vibes.
We ARE getting happy ending, that I can promise. Itâll take a while, tho. đ And I loooove the Disney like vibes, so weâre definitely getting some of this too. Especially in the boysâ POVs. I mean, who does better gut wrenching kid stories that will make you cry but will end warming your heart somehow đđ
About Percy and Annabeth, their specifc last talk wasnât a fight. The thing is, though PJO and HOO have a very little gap between the wars and PTSD is not directly addressed in the books. In WTHB the Giant War hasnât even started yet, and the kids are trying to cope with their traumas in ways that not always are, well, healthy.
They had an entire year of both great euphoria for surviving and also a lot of mental damage. Theyâre very stressed, to say the least. So at some point, people started to unleash on each other. Itâs not only Percy and Annabeth.
Without spoilers, what happened was: at the point it happened, Percy was already pregnant and already received the prophecy, and Annabeth had been so overworked with rebuilding Olympus and it turned out extremely emotional.
The topic, unfortunately, was also a bit delicate for both of them, in different ways.
