Some thoughts on this album, while I'm listening to it and waiting for my flight out of Japan:

1. Definitely not as good as Epcotia. But Epcotia was a masterpiece of thematic coherency and legit bops, as opposed to Johnny's-type bops. This one needs less interludes, more new songs

2. The song in the picture is my current crack.

3. Also my crack--Digital Love. I mean, that part when Tegoshi first comes in is 100% musical genius and his delivery is, as usual, perfect. Which is why I can't hate this fool.

4. Why are they giving us the Cristmas song we've all wanted and deserved AFTER CHRISTMAS?

5. LOL never thought the day would come when Koyama has the best solo song. That's a good bop.

6. I saw 1 truck driving in Shibuya to promote this album, and that was the extent of promotion that I saw. And mind you, I traveled across half of Japan, from Tokyo to Sapporo and back again. Even in the CD stores, there weren't any posters advertising the release of this album. When I went to buy the album, I could barely find it, found only the CD+DVD version, and I had to ask a sales woman where the CD only version was. She disappeared for a few minutes and ran across the store to get one. They weren't even being displayed next to each other, or with a big sign to help people find ot, or anything. IKIRO definitely had more promotion......
