Why I like them/why I don’t: goddd Vetrix is really like. i like him a lot even though i dont talk much about him these days. he truly has one of the Most viscerally unsettling things that's been done to a yugioh character happen to him imo. if i think too hard about him I start feeling sick. Getting your whole body warped by alien demon forces effectively turning you back into a 9 year old AND deep-frying your brain AND half your face is A Fucking Void AND you remember everything before. you remember your kids. youre younger than your kids now. jesus fucking christ. byron arclight. good fucking god.

What I like about their appearance: the Half Green Void Face goes fucking crazy hard. i also really like his little braid :^)

Do I prefer their dub names or original names? i do kinda prefer Vetrix I think.... Tron is Fine but Vetrix is so weird and disjointed and alien sounding it really drives home just like. this guys whole physical and mental form is fuuuuuucked. byron's fuckin gone, man.

Favourite moment they were in: "i guess im just a bad dad! 🤪" like his WDC finals duels against kite and yuma go fucking crazy. he's just being a little manipulative unrepentant asshole and his dub voice acting is going crazy. it fuckin rules!!!

Least favourite moment: it was fucked up when he was doing fucking rituals on Hart in that church basement. leave that kid alone!!!!

Something I associate with them: dripping and melting, especially in the face....

Why I like them/why I don’t: NISTRO ONE OF MY PEAK NICHEFAVS his design is just so 'guy I woulda designed as an OC'. I love his attitude and his dub voice (he shares a VA with primo!!! <3) His bond with Dextra is so sweet AND SO IS HIS GENUINE FONDNESS FOR YUMA ;__; GUY WHO CARES ABOUT THIS 13 YEAR OLD NOW. i just love yugioh guys who are jacked and gigantic and then also good with kids it hits every time.

What I like about their appearance: IT KICKS SO MUCH ASS. PEAK DANA DESIGN SENSIBILITIES. HIS HAIR AND EYEBROWS AND DUEL DISK RULE

Do I prefer their dub names or original names?: i do think i prefer nistro leaps and bonds over gauche sorry.... (tho i do love that they preserved the left/right name themeing for nistro and dextra in both versions!!)

Favourite card they use: EXCALIBER IS COOL BUT i really like his Bounzer deck he used under Mr. Heartland i think it's extremely funny. i love when yugioh monsters are just Buff Furries. Hammer Bounzer is so fuckin crazy looking.

Favourite moment they were in: his WDC duel with yuma is so fucking good and such a gorgeous episode but i gotta give it to the Spartan City duel when Alito was mind controlling him and fucking killing and reviving him over and over. absolutely insane never before seen levels of danabait going on in that duel what the fuck

Least favourite moment: i dont even know if i can think of one?!? i like him so much it's always a treat to see him...

Something I associate with them: INCINEROAR. HE MIGHT AS WELL BE AN INCINEROAR GIJINKA

Why I like them/why I don’t: SHES SUCH A GOOD CHARACTER WITH SUCH A COOL DECK AND IT'S BEEN SAID TO DEATH BUT WHY DID THEY DO THAT TO HERRRRR she couldve been SO cool in season 2 😭 she IS cool on the ark cradle!!! just wish she was GIVEN STUFF TO DO!!! WISH SHE GOT TO KEEP HER POWERS. AAUUGHH

What I like about their appearance: she has suchhh a gorgeous and solid design, i love her color palette and her hair and her OUTFIT. I LOVE YOU GOTHISH YUGIOH WOMEN

Do I prefer their dub names or original names? I LIKE BOTH AND USE 'EM INTERCHANGEABLY i think it's soo so charming when 5ds fics with the dub names have akiza use 'aki' as a nickname...

OTP: roseknight is so fucking good i want her and sherry to make out sloppy style. (yusei/aki and crow/aki also very sweet)

Favourite card they use: BLACK ROSE DRAGONNNN god. one of the absolute coolest ace monsters (and thats stiff competition in 5ds especially!!) and leaps and bounds probably the coolest Main Yugioh Girl ace monster to me. i love this fucked up noodle-necked scary plant dragon so much. blows a kiss to my BRD figure.

Favourite moment they were in: i need to rewatch the dark signers arc cuz her duel with misty in the mirror maze goes fucking hard as hell. also when she summons BRD to save her and crow and sherry on the Ark Cradle!!! And it's like IMPLIED HER POWERS CAME BACK FOR THAT!??! ELABORATE MORE RIGHT NOW IMMEDIATELY.

Least favourite moment: they really made her crash her bike and lose her psychic powers and it sucked ass. LET HER BE A GODDAMN PSYCHIC TURBO DUELIST!!! also her suddenly like 'im gonna be a doctor ^_^' right at the end. not my favorite narrative choice. idk

Something I associate with them: Home Depot Garden Center <3
