I LOVE YOUR WORKS SM!! Your version of south park confidential is the first ever ao3 fic I ever read and it was love at first sight 😭 I read the first chapter deny me or be doomed a few hours ago and finished it in one sitting. I love love love ur version of bunny and I think your an amazing writer <33
THANK YOU SO MUCH 🫶 the original south park confidential was my first ever south park fic too so it's wonderful to hear I've carried on that legacy for others such as yourself :) i was actually talking with a dear fandom friend the other day about doing a reflection piece on south park confidential since it's been many years and my understanding of politics has developed substantially since then - but despite it's flaws, i still have a lot of affection for that fic as my origin of sorts haha
im so happy to hear deny me and be doomed has lived up to your expectations as well! im in a big reading kick at the moment so haven't been doing much writing as of late but that specific flavour of bunny remains active in my mind and you can rest assured the next chapter will come when you (and I) least expect it 😈 thank you so much for your lovely message! :]

Hi, Fay! I just wanted to tell you that I finished reading South Park Confidential a few weeks ago and I loved it! The original fic is really well written but you managed to not only keep up the quality of the writing, but to transition from the original author's style to yours. And it's soooo smooth!
I really enjoyed the direction you took the story to and the way you kept fleshing out the characters over the course of so many chapters. I particularly enjoyed the way you portrayed Tweek and Craig, they felt very real and their relationship develops in such a natural way and it's so friggin' cute!
And also a big "holy shit, that was amazing" to the political/social commentary you weaved into the narrative. The whole Clyde arc is just... I don't know, I just love it. It's powerful! I often see stories (and not just fanfiction, I'm talking about published work) that try to explain or reflect on certain political/social themes using plot and characters, but the two feel compartmentalized, like water and oil. I think you did a pretty good job at creating a story that uses both elements in each other's favour.
Oh, and I laughed a lot too! Those Stan-Kyle dialogues had me giggling sometimes at two o'clock in the morning.
Sorry for the long ask and I hope to see more of your writing!
(ask is is in reference to this fic)
Ahh thank you so much for your message! I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed it :D
The original South Park Confidential was actually what got me into the fandom in the first place! I had watched a few seasons of SP on Netflix and thought "Huh, I wonder if there's any fanfiction of this stuff? Just kidding! ...Unless? 😏" And so I logged onto ao3 dot com, searched "south park" and clicked one of the first options that came up. I was so fixated on trying to figure out how the author might have planned on ending it, that I ended up laying out all my thoughts, and then went "Huh, this is actually solid enough for a fic of my own." The transition between Deephurting's fic to mine was quite chaotic from my perspective, involving a lot of fiddling with plots and plans, and tearing apart the original fic for every clue I could find. So I am glad to hear that it felt smooth from a reader's perspective! (-u-;)
I didn't have a whole lot to go off of with Tweek and Craig's relationship, as they hadn't had as much focus as Stan and Kyle in the original work. I knew I wanted to do a recovery arc for Tweek, and so much of Craig's character was developed with that idea in mind (that's where details like his previous job as a security guard in a psych ward sprang from). But of course I wanted to be really careful not to fall into the unfortunate trope of "and then they banged and his mental illness was cured forever 😌." I think what helped achieve that sense of realism was the fact that I didn't limit each characters' main conflict to be purely contained within their romantic relationship, which a lot of romance stories often do. Because real life is messy and complicated! I think the best kinds of relationships are those which help us make sense of the chaos.
Writing overt political comment in fiction can certainly be a tough balancing act! It's so easy to wind up coming across as preachy or patronising. To be honest, I think my biggest advantage when writing SPC was that I was largely only posing questions to the audience... because I didn't actually have the answers. That fic is a very interesting record of an author's philosophically consequentialist crisis, lmao. In many ways, Clyde's character epitomises this, but he also works in tandem with the deliberately two-dimensional Cartman as a reflection of the ACAB movement. I could go further into these creative decisions, but this answer is already getting quite long, and I'm aware you didn't actually ask how or why I wrote it how I did, haha ;)
The Stan + Kyle banter was a very fun part of the fic to write! A lot of it flowed very naturally because when you have two characters with differing goals who are still on the same side, their conflict winds up manifesting in little quips and jabs, instead of full blown arguments (most of the time...)
Thank you again for the ask, and do not apologise for the length, as I always love to hear people's thoughts! I have a habit of writing loooong responses anyway, aha. And I have many more fics on the way, so look forward to those I guess :)

AHHHHHWJRJAKKEDHJAKWK
it's pretty late where I am so sorry if this is a bit incoherent but oh my fucking GOD this is a MASTERPIECE im so overwhelmed and flattered and thrilled and ahhhhh (/^-^)/
ofc classic fay I did the thing where I saw the post went "woah woah woah mcfucking incredible art" then realised a second later "hang on... that's from MY FIC" ♡(> ਊ <)♡ I truly am dumb of ass. anyway I saw this when i was with my friends and I had to excuse myself to go silently scream in the bathroom because I was just so excited.
words cannot describe how looking at your drawings makes me feel so I'm just gonna gush about some of my favourite bits. firstly kyle wearing stan's hat looks EVEN CUTER than I pictured it whilst writing like omg stan was right it does suit kyle better 🥴 next their facial expressions are just ahh so tender and soft!! and the way kyle's head is tilted upwards, how stan cups his face, it's just so sweet and tender and dare I say it hot like omg 😳 and even the tiny details like the angles of their eyebrows, how kyle seems more surprised but stan's more concerned yet sincere, it just captures their emotions so well. also their clothes!! in both drawings!! perfect. literally perfect. and the colour palette?? I don't know much about colour theory but I can confidently say it's also the best most perfect palette ever. warm greens and browns that give that soft cosy faded 'vintage' feel, very fitting for the fic and helps it feel cohesive with the super cool and ambient background.
idk if that made sense but anyway GOOD ART THANK YOU SO MUCH ╰(⸝⸝⸝´꒳`⸝⸝⸝)╯

Ahh okay I know this isn’t a question but I love love LOVE your writing. The fic with the old timey gay detectives is what keeps me going from day to day. More writing should be written about gays in the early to mid 20th century and if you’re willing to I’d love a short story with more of that. Anyway thank you for your writing!
Thank you so much for your message :D
Writing about old timey gay detectives is what got me through winter 2020/21 lockdown so it's really lovely to hear it's what's getting you through today's hellscape as well! It's been a little while since I've revisited South Park Confidential, but I would absolutely love to write a small sequel one day. If memory serves, I left Stan and Kyles' time in New York as ambiguous as possible, to give myself room to play with a plot at a later date :)
In terms of other fics set in the mid-20th century, I have a couple other plot ideas! The one I've got furthest on was a 1960s Creek AU, vaguely inspired by the song "The Leader of the Pack" by The Shangri-Las, featuring a fashionable Mod!Tweek and bad boy (but secret softie) Craig. I got about 6k in before my laptop up and died and I lost it all :(( I certainly learnt my lesson about backing things up after that tragedy as I lost a whole host of WIPs along with it. Maybe once I'm done the current fic I'm working on, Dead End Mountain Town, I'll take another crack at it :)
In the mean time, if you're looking for more historical fics, here's a couple recs:
The Sound That Forevermore Separates the Old from the New by Juldas - "In the fall of 1957, Sputnik inadvertently draws two classmates together." (Style)
The Well and the Lighthouse by Effingbirds - "When Gregory is sent to France during World War II to assist the underground Resistance, he has no intention of surviving. Little does he know, once there, he'll find a reason to live." (Gregstophe, Style)
Amalgamation by Hollycomb - "In 1862, Kyle's family is forced to move from New York to a tiny mining settlement at the foot of Pike's Peak in Colorado. Kyle is sixteen years old and miserable until he meets Stan, a fellow transplant who has been in town for three years. Their feelings for each other are shadowed by the town's haunted history, and for Kyle the local legends begin to feel more like real nightmares." (Style)
I'm sure there are many other wonderful historical fics for this fandom (which I would love to read if anyone else has relevant recs!) but these were just the ones I could think of, off the top of my head. Let me know if you get around to reading any of them as I'd love to discuss them!! And thanks again for your lovely message (/^-^)/
#south park#south park fic#ask#wip: south park confidential#sp style#sp gregstophe#i recently had to turn my anon asks off because people were getting waaayy too invasive with the shit they were sending me#and i was worried in doing so it would mean people would stop sending nice messages as well#so its very reassuring to receive this!! <3

Ahh thank you so much!! I assume the fic you're referencing is South Park Confidential that I wrote a few years back, my first for the fandom. It makes me really happy to hear that you liled it!! At the time I had a pretty small reader base so it's always lovely to find more people who enjoyed it :) Thank you so much for taking the time to send in your message!! <3

i will love you for the rest of time for finishing south park confidential
[Ask is in reference to this fic]
Aw thank you!! I always feel obligated to redirect praise for SPC to DeepHurting as they were of course the original creator. But it does make me feel warm and fuzzy to know that people enjoyed my interpretation of the ending ^-^ Their work was the first South Park fic I ever read and it will always hold a special place in my heart, and I hope that I gave a little closure to those who also felt very attached to their open-ended fic :)

(art and response are here)
ahh thank you so so much!! this really means the world to me <3 reading the original south park confidential and then writing an unofficial continuation was what got me into the fandom in the first place so it's so lovely to hear that it renewed your love for the fandom as well. I really appreciate your kind words and am flattered that you value it as highly as you do!
I would be absolutely delighted to put your illustration in the fic!! I'll dm you to discuss details :) thanks again for blessing me with your talent!!
Hello @fayoftheforest ! I just wanted to tell You how much The SouthPark fanfiction "Confidential" You've wrote some time ago made me lately so happy and reminded me how I adore beeing in this fandom. Your style in writing is amazing and It's the perfect deffinicion of "show, don't tell". Onestly, I prefer some of your works more than most of the books I've read.
Anyway, You inspired me to draw again and I've made this art refering to Chapter 10. (Stan's and Kyle's first kiss on the graveyard). I really do hope You'll enjoy it and thank You for making it happen.
If You'd like You can put it in the fic itself, Like I've seen one other art in it but of course You dont have to. The importat thing to me is that You'll see it.
Thanks again!

I’ve not done one of these in quite a while! I wanted to wait until my main WIP, Ship In A Bottle, was longer, so that I could go sifting through it for all the wonderful words I have been given. I got tagged by @wannabeauthorzofija and @mel-writes-with-her-dragons.
Zofija’s words were...
Fun [WIP: Ship In A Bottle]: Upon the end of the third tune, he attempted to extract himself from the dancefloor, only to end up backing into someone anyway.
“Sorry, I—” Kyle whipped around. “Oh.”
“Having fun?” Stan was smiling at him.
“How did you—I thought you were playing?” He glanced at the stands, where a blonde had taken his place at the guitar. She started up a new song, on which, to Kyle’s great relief, was a ballad with a considerably slower meter.
“I felt like taking a break,” said Stan. He held out his hand, “May I have this next dance?”
“You know, you’re the first to actually ask,” Kyle said, eyeing the hand.
Life [WIP: Ship In A Bottle]: All around them, people were coupling up, with general disregard to gender. He was getting déjà vu, flashbacks to the many balls he had been forced to attend, all of which he had spent huddled in a corner with his nose in a book, avoiding eye contact at all costs. It was hard to believe that what took place both there and here could be considered dancing – the former devoid of life, the latter bursting at the seams with it. And somehow here he was, confronted by a pirate captain, asking him to dance.
History [WIP: South Park Confidential] (tw homophobia): Kenny and Butters seemed so different from how Kyle had expected queers to be, especially ones who were both whores. They were just… kind of ordinary, actually. They bickered and they bantered like any normal couple did, but they seemed to really care for each other, too. Hell, Kyle had to admit their relationship seemed more stable than any he himself ever had, though perhaps that was more telling of his unfortunate history than theirs.
Peace [WIP: South Park Confidential]: Stan sighed. He looked like he wanted to say everything and nothing. Torn between the two, he simply said, “Enjoy Shabbat.”
“Shabbat Shalom,” Kyle corrected.
“What?”
“That’s what you say. ‘Shabbat Shalom.’ It means Sabbath of Peace, or something. Like, have a peaceful Shabbat.”
“Oh,” Stan said. “Well. Shabbat Shalom.” And at that, he left.
Mel’s words were…
Speak [WIP: Ship In A Bottle]: Everyone else went off to get changed before lunch, and Kyle was left behind, soaked and shivering, with the terrible realisation that he had no other clothes to speak of. He paced the deck until his discomfort overcame his dignity.
He knocked on the office door, awkward. Stan opened it, shirtless, the tips of his hair still beaded with little droplets. Kyle swallowed and kept his gaze fixed rigidly on the space between Stan’s eyebrows.
“What?” said Stan, leaning on the doorframe.
“I—I, ah, I don’t… I haven’t got any, um,” Kyle shifted from foot to foot, skin crawling under the fabric that was slicked to it. His pride was a mighty large thing to swallow.
Again [WIP: Ship In A Bottle]: “Who are you to tell me what to do?” Stan said haughtily. He had neglected to don his hat or red topcoat again, leaving his white shirt rippling and dark hair tousling in the gentle breeze. He was every bit the perfect image of a dashing young sailor. It irritated Kyle to no end.
Certain [WIP: Ship In A Bottle]: He woke in a cold sweat, and for that one dreadful moment where fiction and reality are blurred, he thought he was still wooden, and lifeless. But then he heard someone sigh in their sleep, and he remembered who and where he was. And then it was dreadful in a different way. For a while, he lay, listening to the gentle creaking and groaning of the ship, like a whale song, out of tune. At one point, he thought he heard the distant sound of someone crying, but it was too faint for him to be certain. When he could stand stewing in his own thoughts no longer, he rose, and tiptoed out of the cabin.
Home [WIP: Ship In A Bottle]: Tweek watched blood pour from the gaps between Craig’s fingers with horror. When she spoke, her voice was small, and cracked at the end.
“You broke my heart, Craig.”
Craig gave her a look which could freeze over fire. “Yeah, well, you broke my nose. So I guess we’re even.” She tore through the circle that surrounded them and staggered off.
Stan stepped into the centre. “Alright, everybody, show’s over,” he said. “Go home.”
Weapon [WIP: Ship In A Bottle]: Why, these grenades do nothing but startle! Kyle realised. But none of Cartman’s crew was level-headed enough to figure that out. They were too busy scrambling for their weapons as more and more pirates spilled onto the deck. The sound of gunshots and metal clashing with metal rose above the din of voices, of cries of alarm as each and every sailor was disarmed by their piratical counterparts, one way or another. By the time the smoke had cleared, the battle was over. The boy in the tricorn had forced Cartman to his knees, the tip of a cutlass at his throat.
“Alright, everybody, show’s over,” he said. “Go home.”

Word Search Tag!
Combining two tags, from @google-plexed and @novanovelwriting. I have two new WIPs to draw from since last time, Hayloft (a one-shot) and Ship in a Bottle (longform) so that’s exciting or something!
From @google-plexed, whose words were morning, stomach, black, heart, routine:
Morning [Hayloft]:
“I just got back from Jersey, dude! I came straight here.” Kyle cranes his neck. “Did I wake you?”
Stan checks the clock on the wall. “It’s five in the fucking morning,” he yawns. “What do you think?”
“Well, I don’t know,” Kyle says, and though Stan can’t quite see his grin, he can hear it. “A farm boy like you should be up at the crack of dawn.”
“Don’t call me that!” Stan picks up the pebble from his floor and hurls it back at Kyle. He dodges it with ease, chuckling.
Stomach [Ship in a Bottle]:
The bread was stale, and the soup was cold, but to his painfully empty stomach it tasted like the best meal he’d had in years.
Black [Ship in a Bottle]:
With shaking shoulders, Clyde stepped forward. “Are you going to kill me?” he squeaked.
“That depends.” Stan tilted his head. “Are you going to lie to me?”
“No, sir.”
“Then I think we’ll get along just fine.” He wiped the blood off his dagger on the side of his black culottes before tucking it back in his coat.
Heart [Ship in a Bottle]:
“What’s your name?” Clyde asked, and like a fool, Kyle gave it to him.
“Kyle.”
“Do I know you from somewhere?”
Kyle’s heart sank. “That depends,” he said quickly, grasping for a lie. “Do you frequent male brothels?”
Routine [South Park Confidential]:
“Anyway, if you follow me, I’ll find you a nice little spot,” Heidi reset back to her old chirpy self. “Same as last time?”
“Uh, sure,” Tweek nodded, and he followed her to his table. He was not one to pass up an opportunity for routine.
Now, from @novanovelwriting, whose words were smile, float, scary and hungry
Smile [Hayloft]:
Kyle peeks out at him from cracks between his fingers, hesitant to let down his guard. At the sight of Stan’s attire, he cracks a smile. “Nice Terrance and Phillip pyjamas.”
Float [South Park Confidential]:
“And how about you?” Craig peered down at him, “You’re what, two feet tall? No, must be just shy of that.”
“I’m tall enough to reach the ground,” Tweek crossed his arms, “And that’s what counts.”
“I suppose you’re right,” Craig laughed again. It was such a unique sound, rich and warm and husky. “It would be a shame if you were so short you had to float.”
Scary [South Park Confidential]:
“It’s like he consumes me. Like I can’t tell where I start, and he ends. And it’s scary.” He looked up at Kenny. “It’s terrifying, actually.”
Kenny was gazing at him with a funny sort of expression. “Kyle,” he said, and he leant forward, resting his elbows on the table. “Do you mind if I speak candidly?”
“Uh, sure. Go ahead.”
“That,” he said, “is bullshit.”
Hungry [Ship in a Bottle]:
“Have you killed many men?” Kyle asked abruptly.
“Oh, heaps and heaps.” Stan leant forward in his chair and lowered his voice. “Does that frighten you, Kyle?”
Kyle observed the eager glint in his eye with distaste. “No,” he said, “not particularly.”
Stan sat back with a harrumph. “Neither frightened nor impressed. Just what exactly are you, then?”
Kyle thought about this. “Hungry.”

2, 14, and 18 for the fic ask!! >:)
(Ask is from this post . Thank you for the ask!)
2. Recommend a fic you've read that is at least 5 years old.
A solid 75% of the fics that I read are from 2013 or before XD This is mostly because I can be quite picky when it comes to writing quality, and so when I find a wonderful author I will just work my way through their entire back catalogue (looking at you, hollycomb and kuchi ;)
I bookmark all my SP fic recommendations as part of my South Parkfection collection, so have a browse if you're lookin' for a good time :D
I believe that the 2016 fic (yeah, yeah, it's not technically five years old for another two months, whatever) "Seven Days of Alien Summer" by applecrumbledore should be mandatory reading for all SP fic lovers. Not because it's educational or anything, just because it's fucking fantastic.
I recently read the 2012 fic "Flipside" by hollycomb and have not stopped thinking about it ever since. Please, god, someone read it so I can talk about it with them lmao.
Finally, my favourite non-SP fic: 2013's Calvin and Hobbes "Theories About Nuclear Winter" by hollycomb. This fic added ten years onto my lifespan and made me cry so god damn much. If you grew up reading Calvin and Hobbes like I did, or just like the comics in general, then you're gonna wanna read this! The catharsis is reallll.
If anyone has any recommendations for fics, please do let me know! I'm always on the lookout for more stories to devour :)
14. Tell us about the fic you are most proud of writing.
I'm split between South Park Confidential and Ship In A Bottle on this one. With SPC I was able to bust out a ten thousand word chapter every week and managed to finish the 130k word fic in a little over three months, which was a big step up for me! It was also the first novel-length story I'd ever completed, and I'm proud of that. Of course, the fact that I avoided making any plans or speaking to anyone outside of online lessons might have had something to do with the sudden spike in productivity pahaha.
However, my writing has improved since then, and I think SIAB is definitely of a better quality. I'm more conscious about the way I write and the language features that I use now, and more confident when writing complex plot and character arcs. But I think the main reason why I'm most proud of this one is that life has been pretty full-on and a bit rubbish for me at the moment, but I've managed to stick with the story and keep on chugging! :)
18. What are your favourite genres you like to read? Are they the same ones you like to write?
Since I'm so picky about the quality of the fic, I don't rend to have much leeway when it comes to the actual genre lmao. Historical fiction is my favourite genre (shocking, I know) but I really like sci-fi and fantasy stuff too! Anything that takes the SP characters as we know them and puts them in a different time or place is a win in my book. But at the end of the day, a good old fashioned home-grown high school or college au is hard to beat ;)

Word Search Tag!
Rules: Find the given words in your WIP[s]!
I was tagged twice for this game, so I figured I’d just combine the two! These are all from my recently completed WIP, South Park Confidential...
@wannabeauthorzofija‘s words were numb, sleep, eternity and peaceful:
Numb
They wandered around a little as they finished their drinks. Tweek laced his numb fingers about his cup and watched as steam rose from the surface of his coffee and danced up into the night sky. The tremors of his hands sent tiny waves rippling across the top of the coffee.
Sleep
“I, um…” Tweek slowly unwound his grip from his hair. “I usually sleep with the wireless on. The voices; the music. It gives me something to focus on that’s not, you know…” He tapped the side of his head.
Eternity
Tweek wasn’t sure if the best thing to do was to go looking for Craig, or to stay put, and just wait to be found. If he waited, he would avoid the grim fate of the pair being doomed to wander these halls for all eternity, each coming within inches of where the other had been, only moments ago. Then again, what if something terrible had happened to Craig? What if he was trapped somewhere? What if he was bleeding out? What if he was dying, slowly and painfully, with no one by his side, whilst Tweek stood twiddling his thumbs, waiting for a man who would never come.
Peaceful
“Shouldn’t do that,” Kyle yawned, then smiled groggily. “I’ll get wrinkles.” God, he really was out of it. He hadn’t been kidding when he said the medicine made him a little loopy. He snuggled in further to Stan, and fuck, he couldn’t handle this. This was too much to cope with, Kyle falling asleep nestled against him, so peaceful, so trusting. If this went on any longer, Stan’s heart would explode, or perhaps crumble into dust. He was too sober for this shit.
And from @mel-writes-with-her-dragons, whose words were shadow, water, morning and running:
Shadow
He could see it now with almost lifelike intensity: Craig, emerging from the shadows, brandishing a bayonet. In one swift moment, he’d slide the blade between Tweek’s ribs, and stand above him as he watched the life drain from his eyes and the blood drain from his body. His stoic expression wouldn’t slip for a second.
Water
Stark’s Pond was beautiful on a winter’s night, especially since it had not yet frozen over. Bright moonlight shone upon the water like a looking glass. Fresh snow drifts lined the edges, glistening and untouched. In the summer, when he was a kid, Stan used love swimming in its deep, warm waters. The idea of doing so now sent a shiver down his spine. As elegant as it was, it seemed almost abyssal. A dip at these temperatures would likely be deadly.
Morning
Stan patted him on the back, “Relax, Kyle. Wendy always stays late in the office on Fridays, even if she’s not supposed to, because her articles are due in first thing Saturday morning, and she likes to take her sweet time polishing them off. She’ll be here. Now, follow me. Walk like you’re meant to be here.”
Running
“It’s a speakeasy. Or at least, it was. A few decades ago, when prohibition was still alive and kicking, folk would come here to get pissed, and police were paid off to turn a blind eye. Times may have changed, but it’s still a good place to go if you want to avoid the long arm of the law. Old habits take a while to shake from the force.”
“So how come you’re here?”
“I want to avoid running into my buddy cops just as much as anyone else does,” he said. “Especially a select few. And especially tonight.”
If you’d like to be tagged in future writing tags so that you can play too, like this post and I’ll add you to my tag list! Tags below the cut...

ROYGBIV Tag!
Thanks for the tag, @wannabeauthorzofija! Idk why but word search style tags are like my favourite :))
Rules: Find all seven colours of the rainbow in your WIP(s).
These are all from my freshly finished fic, South Park Confidential...
Red (TW Blood):
He brought his arms up to shield his face as he fought against the wicked winds, barraged by books and bric-a-brac that had been swept up in the gale. Each page that past him sliced at his skin. Each pen drew a ragged red line. Blood ran down his arms like a waterfall.
Orange:
At his touch, Kyle’s eyes flickered open. He looked at him, and then the nightstand. His focus seemed lucid. “You brought me an orange,” he whispered hoarsely.
“Yeah, um, I just—For when you wake up. Vitamin C is important. Fuck, I don’t know.”
Yellow:
The room was small and dank. The wallpaper was a yellowish colour, stained and streaked by damp mould and cigarette smoke. There was a double bed, the only piece of furniture, and the mattress looked as if someone had thrown a sheet over a pile of rusty springs. The dim light of a lone bare bulb seemed to only accentuate the rundown, filthy feeling of the place. Yeah, it was a real classy joint alright.
Green:
The lobby of the Gazette was a pretty swanky. Decked out with plush green carpets and crisp white walls and furnished with dark oak coffee tables and chairs. On the walls hung framed editions of varying notoriety, and Kyle longed to linger, and pour over each one, but he held back.
Blue (double whammy):
Craig loomed before him. Everything about him was harsh edges: strong jaw, high cheekbones, a straight nose that started just a little too high on his face. His brow seemed to be set in a permanent furrow, and his mouth was a thin line with a thin cigarette poking out between his thin lips. He had on a blue chullo-style hat, pulled over his ears to fend off the bitter winter air, but tufts of his ink-black hair poked out from beneath, tousled. He was out of his uniform tonight, hands shoved deep into the pockets of his navy blue trench coat, collar flipped up.
Indigo is tragically non-existent, so I have picked pink instead!
“Thanks.” Tweek turned a lovely shade of pink. He swallowed down a few butterflies that were trying to escape from his stomach up his oesophagus.
No violet, so purple instead!
Wendy was sitting up in bed. He dark hair was matted, a dressing wrapped around her head, a bandage over one eye, with a deep purple bruise poking out from beneath. Her skin was a strange, yellowish-grey, and when she turned her head to look at him, she winced, as if even that movement was too much. Her cracked lips parted in a small smile as she saw Stan, and this was enough to send him drifting across the room to her side.

Word Search Tag
Thanks for the tag @fleetingfictions, and to everyone who’s been tagging me in different games over the past few days! They’re quite a bit of fun :)
My words were touch, soft, wind and glass. The following are extracts from my WIP, South Park Confidential:
Touch:
Tweek felt a shower of tingles rain down from where Craig had touched him and fireworks alight within. Without thinking, he shifted his head slightly, so that Craig’s hand was guided deeper through his hair. Craig did not seem to mind. He ruffled his fingers through it, captivated, as if it were made from the gold Rumpelstiltskin span from hay.
Soft:
For a brief, heart-wrenching moment, Tweek thought maybe… maybe Craig was about to kiss him. But he simply brushed a tear softly away. Still, his hand lingered for just a fraction of a second too long before he pulled back. It felt as if the mark of his palm had been branded onto Tweek’s cheek, leaving him smouldering.
Wind:
He squinted at Tweek - small, scrawny, Tweek, who looked like he was about one gust of wind away from snapping in two.
Glass:
“Are you gonna be this much of an asshole the whole evening, or am I just getting special treatment?”
Stan sighed and leant his head against the window. “I don’t know,” he grumbled, breath fogging up the glass. “What would you prefer?” He traced zigzags in the precipitation with his fingertips.
“I’d prefer that you knock it off, actually,” Kyle said. “I get that you’re not looking forward to this, Stan, but if you could pull up your big boy pants and just play nice for half an hour, it’ll be easier for everyone.”
I shall be tagging @wannabeauthorzofija, @writingamongther0ses, @witherednightmare, @regan-wickworre, @google-plexed, @tales-and-thoughts, @crystallized-ink, @moononherwings, @indecentpause, @teasenpaiwrites, and @depressedpoetess and whoever else wishes to partake! Your words are sweet, light, dance and kind.
