#WIP: Shippy McShipface

7 Deadly Sins OC Tag
Thank you to @the-golden-comet for the tag (x)! This was such a fun thought experiment.
Rules: which of your OCs would you assign to which of the seven deadly sins and why?
Greed:
Leda, international jewel thief turned almost upstanding citizen is definitely the greediest OC. She tends to focus on things she personally enjoys vs. cash value, but she often struggles to share...well anything, especially things she considers vital (food, water, shelter etc).
Sloth:
This one is tough. I think A’Navi of Shippy McShipface that fits the bill. She is certainly the least active of the OCs and tends to do most of her work from a pilots chair.
Wrath:
Quinn, ship mechanic and part time rough neck from Shippy McShipface. He, especially pre-story, communicates through anger and wrath quite often. He tends to see red and go without thinking things through.
Gluttony:
Shippy, the alien AI of Shippy McShipface. Shippy is a glutton of soap operas, fanfiction and trope-y media in hopes of finding a way to bring her pilot and mechanic together (with varying degrees of success). Shippy literally devours whole series of things to better understand how one makes humans fall in love.
Envy:
Maeve, my newest OC, is definitely feeling envious. Mostly of other people's lives and circumstances. She is also on the short list for wrath, but that wrath is almost always coming from a place of feeling slighted and envy for someone else's life.
Lust:
Forest, magical being and minor god of Haints Holler definitely has a lust problem. Lusting for power is his biggest weakness, but he’s also been known to lust after a particular witch.
Pride:
Chance, head of the murder fairy time police of Lady Luck, is a peacock of a man. Big, muscled and redheaded. Full of pride in not just his physical prowess but his ability to control any situation. And that he managed to land Theo.

Last Line/Out of Context Line Tag
Thanks to @aintgonnatakethis (x) for the tag.
I continue to write with questionable consistency on Shippy McShipface, the space opera romance with an alien matchmaking ship and two unsuspecting humans. We are currently witnessing our two stranded heroes dealing with the ever popular trope, sharing body heat/sub zero. Shippy really needs to stop reading fanfiction and watching soap operas.
He wasn’t sure he got that either, but it felt nice. She felt nice, even if they were both freezing to death.

Hello tumblr! I’m going to try to resurrect this blog to motivate my ass to write. So let’s get some fun stuff out of the way:
I’m Hannah. I’m a social worker/MH Therapist by day. Writer by night and general weirdo all the time. I don’t answer MH/Social Work questions on this page for confidentiality and boundary reasons.
(if you’re in the states 988 is free, confidential and now allows you to text)
I write in what little free time I find and generally end up writing things that make me giggle and/or angst. I'm currently diving head first back into fandom, so that's also taking up a lot of my headspace.
Current Fandoms: Stargate Universe, Babylon 5, Longmire
Current Active Project: Shippy Mcshipface
Genre: Sci-fi/Space Opera Romance with too much humor
General Idea in One Sentence: Two very not romantic people get stuck on a matchmaking alien ship. Chaos ensues.
Status: The roughest of rough drafts.
Other WIPS that I poke occasionally:
Hell Inc. (Humor Paradise Lost Retelling)
Haints Holler (Appalachian Fantasy)
Lady Luck (Paranormal Romance)
