sorry if this doesnât really fit on your blog, but while weâre on the topic, iâm curious. who do you personally think is the most attractive cast member? (not just in a âI recognize theyâre attractiveâ way, but in a, âIâm personally attracted to themâ way). Cause as a bisexual, I feel like the whole cast is distractingly beautiful!
1) Sadie
2) Finn
3) Noah
4) Caleb
5) Gaten
6) Millie
7) Winona
8) David
9) Maya
10) Natalia
11) Charlie
12) Joe
(I just realized there are 12 people here which doesnât leave room for anyone else or see results. so if none of them are personally attractive to you, just choose the one you neutrally/aesthetically see as âmost attractive,â however you define that)
Please note that the purpose of this blog is not to be creepy or to make anyone uncomfortable. That's why I created the #spicy byler tag (I will tag all polls with this). If you don't want to see this blog or anything related to it on your feed, please block that tag. Not everyone is comfortable with this sorta stuff, and that's okay.

His mentor had made Charlie's dress (Her favorite one). His mentor died and Charlie wanted another dress so she dragged him into the constant to make her another one. He did but saw what she was doing to the survivors so he destroyed it. She got angry at the act and had mutilated his face so no one could even look at him. She sown a mask into his skin where nightmare fuel seeped in and keeps it there. He had tried to take it off but died from blood loss. Nightmare fuel leaks from the mask slowly. His body slowly fell apart and so he made new parts from stone so he could move.
He sticks with Maxwell because Maxwell was a familiar face and could relate to being ostracized by the group. He doesn't know why Maxwell is being hated and he never told him due to the fact that it would make the boy shy away from him to.
He is scared of Winona due to her looking like Charlie but is warming up to her since she helps him make new parts when he breaks his old ones.
Sketches: Body horror (Kinda) TW

DS Fanfic: Tying Burnt Ends
The Survivors have finally returned to Earth. Everyone is making new lives for themselves. A fresh, new start for all. Among the glee of it all however, lies a firestarter's past once lostâŠ
â
This is for the Wicker/Willow hc I brought up the other day. Iâm not certain if Iâll fully commit to it, but I thought this would be an interesting idea to put out there.
â
TRIGGER WARNING - This fic contains slight gore/blood, graphic depictions of death, a witch hunt, voices/whispers, ghosts, visions of the past, swearing, and caps. If you arenât comfortable with these things, please donât read this.
The Survivors stand together, staring in near disbelief at what has appeared in front of them.
A portal.
A portal that actually led back home.
No one could believe what they were looking at. Not even the children.
âWowâŠâ Says Wilson. âThat's it. Right thereâŠâ
âOur ticket home...â Says Willow.
ââŠI cannot believe what I'm looking at...â Says Maxwell.
âI can't either, Maxy. Heheh.â Says Charlie, now having been freed from Their hold.
âNo one can believe it, sis.â Says Winona, looking over to Charlie.
âWhat're we waiting for!?â Says Webber. âLet's go home!â
From behind the crowd, Wendy looks over to Abigail with dread in her eyes.
She doesn't want to leave her. Abigail doesn't want to leave Wendy.
But they know they have to.
They have to move on.
âIâll miss you, Abby.â Says Wendy. âYou'll watch over me, right?â
Abigail makes a little noise, indicating a yes. Wendy smiles a little. ââŠAs long as I know you'll be there.â She says.
âYou ready, WX?â Winona asks WX.
âAS LONG AS I AM AWAY FROM EVERYONE ELSE HERE BUT YOU.â Says WX.
ââŠGood enough.â Says Winona. âWhat about you, Woodie? And Lucy?â
âOf course Iâm ready!â Says Woodie with a chuckle.
âOh, I hope our cabin is alright.â Says Lucy.
âI bet it is, Luce.â Says Woodie reassuringly.
âFriends!â Says Wolfgang. âIs time to return to home, yes?â
âMy dear and faithful ströngman asks the grand questiön!â Says Wigfrid. âAnd I shall be given an answer tö extinguish my yearning!â
Wes nods firmly in agreement with Wigfrid.
âI believe our time to return home is now.â Says Wickerbottom. âWe've stalled long enough.â She then turns to Willow and places a hand on her shoulder. âAre you ready, dear?â She asks Willow in a whisper.
Willow smiles. âYeah.â She whispers back.
âAlright!â Says Wilson. âEveryone... go slow. One at a time. Try to contain yourselves, is that clear?â
The group agrees in unison.
Wilson nods, a smirk lays on his face. He turns to face the portal.
âLet's go home.â Says Wilson.
â
It's been a few years since the Survivors have returned home. Everyoneâs new lives are coming along well.
Wilson is actually trying improve in his field, along with study new ones. Maxwell and Charlie got married and have joined the traveling circus Wes, Wigfrid, and Wolfgang had made. Wendy has reunited with her family and seems a lot happier. Webber reunited with his family, who were absolutely thrilled to see him, no matter how he looked. Woodie and Lucy have returned to their cabin, but are trying to get out more. Winona and WX live together now. Winona got a new mechanic job. WX doesn't do much, but Winona is trying to get them to work a bit more.
As for Willow and Wickerbottom?
âOh, isnât it lovely, dear?â Wickerbottom asks Willow.
ââŠItâs huge.â Says Willow.
The two stand in front of a library. One that Wickerbottom had finally been able to purchase and own. Wickerbottom was ecstatic to be a librarian again.
As for WillowâŠ
â
âHow are the visitors? Are they treating you well?â Wickerbottom asks Willow as she sorts some books on the shelves.
Willow is sitting behind a small counter. She has a small name tag clipped to her sweater vest. âYep! Theyâve all be great so far.â She says. âHowâre you doing up there? You need any help?â
âNo, Iâm alright, dear.â She says.
âGood.â Says Willow. âJust try not to throw your back out.â She chuckles.
âWillow!â Wickerbottom exclaims, although she doesnât sound necessarily angry. Not entirely.
âYou know Iâm just playing with you!â Says Willow, a little teasingly.
Wickerbottom smiles. âI know, dear.â She says. âIâm just messing with you back.â
âHey!â Says Willow, giggling a bit.
Wickerbottom chuckles a bit.
The two were practically like family.
â
Willow and Wickerbottom are beginning to close the library for the night. As they clean and work, knocking can be heard from the front of the building.
âIâll get it!â Says Willow. She hurries to the front door opens it. Itâs Wilson.
âHey, Wilson!â Says Willow. âHowâve you been?â
Wilson enters the library. He looks over to Willow. âIâve been good.â He says. âWhat about you? You havenât tried to bring upon a book burning, have you?â He says teasingly.
âIâve been greatâ Hey!â She exclaims, putting her fists to her hips.
âShe hasnât, not at all.â Says an approaching Wickerbottom. âSheâs been fulfilling her apology tenfold.â
Willow smiles. She had decided to help Wickerbottom out when she got a new library as an apology for burning down her old one. Both have seen past the past.
âThatâs splendid!â Says Wilson. âIâm glad youâre learning, Willow.â
âHehe, I am too.â She says, a smile on her face. âHow was that show, by the way? We got a letter from the performer trio about it. Sorry we couldnât see it, we were busy.â
âOh! The one Charlie and Maxwell joined?â Wilson asks. âThey were wonderful! And thatâs fine, theyâre very understanding.â
âAnyway, Wilson, what do you need?â Asks Wickerbottom.
âOh, just a book on botany.â Says Wilson. âAfter our time away from here, it seems to have grown on me.â He smirks.
âOh, come on, Wilson!â Says Willow teasingly.
âYou know I have to!â Says Wilson. âAnyway, do you mind helping me find the book I need?â He asks, turned to Wickerbottom.
âI donât mind, Wilson.â Says Wickerbottom. âAnd Willow, while I help Wilson, do you mind cleaning up the library some more?â
âOh, I donât.â Says Willow.
âSplendid.â Says Wickerbottom. âFollow me, Wilson.â
Wilson nods. He and Wickerbottom walk toward a nearby bookshelf while Willow goes to grab her broom.
â
Willow quietly cleans to herself as Wickerbottom and Wilson talk nearby.
âThanks for the help, Wicker!â Says Wilson.
âNo problem, dear.â Says Wickerbottom. âIâm glad to have been of assistance.â
Wilson looks down at his wrist watch. âI believe itâs best I be on my way, now.â Says Wilson. âItâs getting late.â
Wickerbottom nods. âGet home safely, dear.â She says.
âYou and Willow, too.â Says Wilson as approaches the front door.
âGet back to Ohio without a scratch, you hear?â Says Willow, looking up to the scientist.
âI will!â Says Wilson as he exits. âHave a great night!â
âYou too!â Says Willow.
The man exits the library, leaving it quiet.
Wickerbottom goes over to Willow. âAre you about done cleaning, dear?â She asks.
âIâve gone through every nook and cranny I think.â Says Willow, looking around the premises, smiling.
âGood work, dear.â Says Wickerbottom. âI believe itâs time for us to get home. Iâll put that broom up for you.â
âThanks, I appreciate it.â Willow says, smiling.
âNo problem, Willow.â Says Wickerbottom.
Willow hands Wickerbottom the broom. The librarian heads toward the tool closet in the library while Willow waits for her return.
â
Willow and Wickerbottom walk down the sidewalk back to Wickerbottomâs home. A full moon lays above the New York streets lit up by street lights.
Willow reminisces about how life had been. How all the others had been. She was happy, not just for herself, but for everyone. A large smile sits on her face.
Wickerbottom looks over to woman, smiling.
Willow looks over to Wickerbottom, still smiling. âYou ever think about how far weâve come?â Willow asks.
âI have.â Says Wickerbottom. âItâs a wonderful feeling.â
âYeah.â Says Willow, now turned away from Wickerbottom. âWe all met each other, survived in whatâs practically Hell⊠and made it out alright. Weâre all one piece. Our loose ends have been tied.â
As Willow finishes her sentence, she looks over to Wickerbottom. She doesnât look happy, sheâs frowning. She looks as if sheâs deep in thought. Willow frowns.
âHey, you alright?â Willow asks.
ââŠOh, justâŠâ Wickerbottom pauses. âThinking.â
âThinking what?â Willow asks.
ââŠAbout the past.â Wickerbottom answers.
ââŠDid something happenâŠ?â Willow asks.
ââŠIâd rather not talk about it, dear.â Says Wickerbottom. âI apologize.â
âNo, no, youâre alright.â Says Willow. âI understand.â
The two walk back home. The air begins to feel oddly thickâŠ
â
Willow and Wickerbottom have arrived back home. Theyâre preparing to get to bed.
âAre you ready for bed, Willow?â Wickerbottom asks.
âYeah.â Says Willow. âSleep well.â She says.
âYou too, dear.â Says Wickerbottom.
The two head to their bedrooms for the nightâŠ
Willow enters her room and enters her world of thought for a moment. She canât shake off that something is up with Wickerbottom. She tries not to press on it much. Wickerbottom did say she didnât want to talk about it. Why bother her with something she may not be comfortable with speaking about?ïżŒ
Willow approaches her bed. Bernie is exactly where she left him, sitting up against her pillow. She smiles, content with that Bernie is safe and sound. Willow climbs into her bed and slowly drifts off to sleepâŠ
â
Itâs silent. Barely any sound can be heard amongst the near deafening silence. Amongst this peace howeverâŠ
Willow tosses and turns in her bed, brows furrows and eyes sealed shutâŠ
~~~
Fire. Fire everywhere.
Willow would enjoy it, if torches and lanterns werenât practically being thrown at her.
People are screaming, yelling. Pointing crosses. Shouting Bible verses.
All at her.
âŠBut whyâŠ?
âWhat do you people want from me!?â Willow asks, unable to flee from the attempts to hurt her.
âDie, witch!â A voice would shout.
âBurn in the deepest pits of Hell from whence ye came!â Shouts the voice of a pastor. He holds out a cross in Willowâs direction.
Willow canât help but be utterly confused. Was this about her being a pyromaniac? âŠWhy even try to fight a pyromaniac with what they loved mostâŠ?
As Willow attempts to flee, the voices quickly become louder and louder, echoing around the dark space she was in. The fire begins to encompass the small spot Willow was standing inâŠ
~~~
Willow jolts awake with a gasp. She places a hand to her chest.
ââŠWhat⊠the hell?â Willow asks herself, her breathing beginning to calm. ââŠWhat was that?â
Willow begins to recollect herself. She glosses over the dream she hadâŠ
Sure, sheâs had worse nightmares, but they normally were related to her time in the orphanage. Or Shadow CreaturesâŠ
Never had she ever had a dream like thatâŠ
Willowâs gears begin to turn. Why in the world was she being called a witch? Who were those voices? Barely anyone knew her before she had come to the Constant, so why would these random people know her?
Willow looks to her side. Bernie lays there, still and stiff as a board. She picks him up. âHey. I had some weird dream where these creeps were throwing stuff at me and calling me a witch.â She says. âWhy do you think I had that dream, Bernie?â She asks the stuffed toy.
The toy doesnât respond.
Willowâs expression droops. ââŠOh, yeah.â She says. âYou arenât alive.â
Willow plops onto her back and lays there. She shuts her eyes and exhales, disappointed.
âŠSuddenly, Willow feels something twitching in her hand. She looks to her right hand, the one Bernie was sitting in.
Bernieâs twitching in her hand.
Willow brings the toy up to her face with both hands. She doesnât throw the doll away. She just watches it intently with wide eyes and a firm gaze.
After a bit, the twitching stops. The bear goes limp. Until it slowly lifts itâs head and looks up Willow.
Willowâs expression softens. ââŠHey, Bernie.â She says. She puts the doll down, allowing it to stand.
What was odd however, Willow wasnât in the Constant anymoreâŠ
Bernie didnât have the ability to walk before the Constant.
Realization quickly hits Willow. âWait⊠You never did this before I got placed in that hellholeâŠâ She says.
Bernie stares at Willow.
ââŠWelp, guess youâre alive now.â Says Willow. âDo you get why I had that dream?â
Willow watches as Bernie jumps off the side of the bed and lands on the floor feet first. He walks over to Willowâs door and points at it. He stares back at Willow.
ââŠBut, I need sleep.â Says Willow.
Bernie doesnât move.
ââŠOh, fine.â Says Willow. âIf itâll help me with that goofy dream. And whatever else was going on in it.â She gets out of bed and goes to her door. She quietly opens it.
Bernie steps out of the bedroom into a dark hallway. Bernie leads the way while Willow quietly follows behind. Bernie stops at the houseâs front door. He points at the door and turns his head to face Willow.
Willowâs brows furrow. âAre you kidding me!?â She asks in a harsh whisper.
Once more, the doll doesnât move.
Willow puts a hand to her face. It slides down her face until limping back down. ââŠSure.â She says.
Willow quietly unlocks and opens the front door. Bernie exits first. Then Willow exits. She closes the door behind her. Willow then bends down to the welcome mat in front of the door. She lifts it, revealing a key. She locks the door from the outside and places the key back where she found it. Her and Bernie head off.
â
Itâs been awhile since Willow and Bernie had left their home. Willowâs legs and feet are tired. Bernieâs trucking along just fine.
They walk through a desolate and empty spot of town. The landscape is mostly barren. Trees are sprinkled about. An eerie atmosphere surrounds the area.
ââŠBernie?â Willow asks. âWhere are we going?â
Bernie doesnât respond. He keeps walking. Willow continues to follow, ignoring her skepticism.
Eventually, more trees begin to fill the area.
Amongst the sounds of the night⊠whispers. Faint whispers among the trees.
Willow is shaken up⊠she almost feels as if she never woke up from that dreamâŠ
ââŠBernieâŠ?â Willow asks, fear in her voice. ââŠWhere are we? Whereâd you take me? Why am I hearing whispers?â
Bernie doesnât respond. He keeps walking.
Willow canât take it anymore.
Willow grabs Bernie from behind. She holds him in her hands. The whispers can still be heard. âWHERE THE HELL ARE YOU TAKING ME!?â Willow asks, anger seeping through her vocal chords.
Bernieâs head then turns to face forward. He points. Willow looks up.
Her eyes go wide.
In front of her is large clearing⊠within the clearing though are crosses made from sticks. Little pieces of fabric sit on them. It also appears theyâve been written on.
ââŠWhat⊠the hellâŠ?â Willow asks herself.
Willow looks down at Bernie. Heâs still pointing forward. Not moving at all. Willow looks back up.
Bernie appears to be pointing toward two particular crosses that sit side by side.
Willowâs brows furrow. She slowly begins to walk toward the crosses.
As she approaches, the whispers become more and more apparent, more loud.
'HerâŠ'
'The otherâŠ'
'Their precious little dollâŠ'
Willow eventually approaches the two crosses. She looks at the words written into their fabric.
Willowâs eyes widen in shock.
'Winslow Wickerbottom' and 'Waylon Wickerbottom'.
ââŠWHAAAAAT!?â Willow exclaims. âAre these her parents or something!? Why are they buried in a creepy ass clearing!?â
Bernie then suddenly goes limp. Willow looks down to Bernie, then looks to the ground.
A little doll, a beaten and messed up, sits there.
âŠThe doll has an appearance similar to WillowâsâŠ
Willow holds Bernie with her arm and bends down and picks up the odd forlorn doll. She stares at it.
It stares back.
Willow blinks.
The lighting then suddenly changes. The doll is no longer in Willowâs hands.
âHuh?â Willow looks up.
The clearing is no longer as barren. Around the area are multiple shacks and huts. Homes and small shops. People in witch-like garments walk around amongst the cluttered village. The village is lit up by wooden poles with small lights with fireflies inside dangling from them.
ââŠWhatâŠ?â Willow questions.
âIsnât she beautiful?â A feminine voice says from nearby.
Willow shoots her head over to the direction of the voice.
A man and woman walk together. The woman is holding something in her hands. Willow walks over to the couple to get a closer look.
The doll looked exactly like the one Willow had found. Although, it didnât look nearly as beaten up. It practically looked brand new.
Probably because it was.
âShe is, Winslow.â Says the man.
Willowâs mouth goes agape.
âŠDid she hear the man correctlyâŠ?
âŠWinslowâŠ
âŠWinslow WickerbottomâŠ
âI think sheâll grow up to be a great witch someday.â Says the man.
âOh, Waylon,â Says Winslow. âHow I cannot wait for such a day to come!â
Waylon chuckles. âI canât wait either, Winslow.â He says.
The couple then begins to walk further down the gravelly road toward a shack in the distance. Willow holds onto Bernie with her hands and follows the two and enters the shack behind them. She looks around.
The shack is lit by lanterns similar to the ones outside. Various shelves and tables full of flasks, bottles, and books lay about.
The couple walks into a decently sized room secluded by a curtain. Willow follows them and steps into the room. The couple doesnât notice her. Willow begins to believe that they canât see or hear her.
The same lanterns on the walls and a few shelves. In the middle of the room is a small baby bed framed by a decorated rocker. A window mostly covered by curtains near lays on the wall near the rocker.
Willow stares at the rocker, confused.
ââŠWhat are the hell are they gonna do with that doll?â Willow asks herself.
The couple walks over to the rocker. Winslow sets the doll inside it, tucking it in the blanket. Willow notices a little teddy bear sitting laying next to the doll.
Bernie.
So thatâs how she got him.
âHehe.â She giggles. She holds Bernie up to peak inside the rocker. âLook, Bernie! Itâs you!â
Waylon then walks over to one of the shelves in the room and grabs an unknown book from it. He walks back over to Winslow. Willow moves away from the couple and stands to the side. Waylon opens the book in his hands and eventually finds the page heâs looking for. He looks over to Winslow. âAre you ready, my dear?â He asks.
âYes, I am.â Says Winslow.
Waylon nods and looks at the page sternly. Both he and Winslow close their eyesâŠ
ââŠBy the Motherâs beautiful lightâŠâ Waylon begins.
The room begins to shake a bit. Willow moves back against the wall.
ââŠWe speak to thee on this silent nightâŠâ Says Winslow.
ââŠGive unto our babe, the light which ye giveâŠâ Says Waylon.
ââŠGive unto our babe, the gift to liveâŠâ Says Winslow.
The doll then becomes surrounded in a bright purple glow.
ââŠBless this babe, oh, dear Mother of NatureâŠâ Says Waylon.
ââŠBless this babe, oh, dear Mother of NatureâŠâ Says Winslow.
The room shakes even more. The light coming off the doll is practically lighting up the entire room. Willow squints and covers her head with her arms, worried that the roof could fall on her.
âOh, Mother of NatureâŠâ The couple says in unison. âBless this babe! Bless this babe! Bless this babe!â
A large gust of wind then blows. The couple and Willow gets knocked back a bit. The light coming off the doll then dissipates.
âŠThen, the sound of crying.
Coming from the rocker.
The couple recollects and slowly walks up to the rocker. They look inside. Willow opens her eyes and slowly follows suit.
Willowâs eyes go wide.
ââŠJust as I thought.â Says Winslow. She tears up a bit. ââŠSheâs beautiful.â
Willow stares at the crying baby.
It⊠or she, had dark, black hair. Long bangs that covered up her forehead. And the faceâŠ
It looked exactly like WillowâsâŠ
Because it was Willowâs.
Hell, even her voice sounded like Willowâs. Although pitched up, that of a babyâs. Even through the cries, the resemblance can be heard.
Willow couldnât believe what she was looking at. Her mouth was agape, her eyes wide. She felt as if sheâd faint on the spot.
âŠShe was born from a dollâŠ?
âŠWhyâŠ?
Then, amongst the excitement and confusionâŠ
CRASH!!
Waylon drops to the floor. Blood gushes from his head.
Winslow looks down to the dead man. âWaylon!?â She shouts.
Willow looks down to the dead man and panicking woman, then to the window, eyes wide and mouth agape.
A part of it was broken.
Someone had shot a bullet through the window.
âŠBut who?
âThere!â A voice from outside shouts. âThe domain! The domain of the Unholy!â
âThe witches!â Shouts another voice. âTheyâre here!â
Realization hits Winslow and Willow hard.
Witch hunters.
ââŠOh, noâŠâ Says Winslow. She gets up to grab the baby.
As she gets back on her feet howeverâŠ
BANG!!
Winslow falls. Dead on the floor. Willow looks down at the body in shock.
From outside, what sounds like a crowd rushing toward the village can be heard. Willow attempts to grab the baby, but her hands phase through her. The sounds from outside quickly approach. Shadows can be seen out the broken window. Willow moves back as someone lights a match and sets the shack ablaze. A few men then break through the window and begin to break down the house. Willow stays in the corner, looking upon the scene before her.
One of the men in the room looks down at the baby in the rocker. âThatâs a baby!â He says.
âLeave it there.â Says another man. âLet it slowly experience the punishment of witchcraft.â
The other man sternly furrows his brows and nods, obeying the other man. The men in the room trash it and leave.
Willow sneers.
She was left here to die.
Or so, she was supposed toâŠ
Willow begins to ponder over how she survived. Maybe it had something to do with Willow not being able to get injured by fire?
Willow then snaps out herself out of her world of thought. She then hurries out of the destroyed shack and returns to the village. She gasps. Her eyes go wide.
Carnage and discord everywhere. Shacks being burned down. Various villagers being brutally killed left and right. Gunshots, screams. Everything happening everywhere.
And Willow has barely anywhere to run.
Willowâs brows furrow. She bolts through the fire, carrying, Bernie in one hand, trying to find a way out. The destruction seems endless. âHelp!! HELP!!â She shouts, panting a bit. âGET ME OUT OF THIS NIGHTMARE!!â
Amongst the chaos however, someone quickly passes by Willow. Willow turns.
The woman looks back. Willow can see her face. It feels as if time has stopped.
Her eyes go wide.
Itâs Wickerbottom⊠yet younger.
Her hair is partially orange. Various areas of the hair are streaked in gray. It also looked a bit longer. It was more puffy and put up in a ponytail.
âŠHow long ago was thisâŠ?
Wickerbottom then turns back around. She runs off into the forest nearby, trying not to be seen.
Then, as Willow watches the young Wickerbottom run off, the fires quickly dissipate. The sounds go away. The land is covered in debris and dead bodies.
The only sound left being the sound of a crying baby.
Willow looks in the distance. She squints and walks toward the source of the sound.
She sees a baby crying on the ground. The dead bodies of her parents beside her.
Itâs baby Willow.
Willow looks down at the child. She frowns.
Then, footsteps are heard. Willow steps back a bit.
Two very familiar woman come into view⊠Willow sneers at the sight of them.
âŠThose disgusting women from the orphanage. The ones that Willow hated to the bottom of her very core.
The taller woman looks down at the child and picks the baby up. âSister, look!â She says. âA child.â
âSomeone mustâve abandoned her here.â Says the shorter woman in a more raspier tone. âUnderstandable. She looks like a rat.â
âYouâre correct, but that doesnât mean she canât be saved.â Says the taller woman.
âMaybe if we bring her into Godâs light, sheâll look nicer.â Says the shorter woman.
âNot just that.â Says the taller woman. âSheâll be one of Godâs children. A blessing worth entering Heaven.â
âMaybe.â Says the shorter woman. âShe looks like a pain to raise though.â
ââŠYes, but we do need the money.â Says the taller woman.
âAgreed, we do.â Says the shorter woman. âLets just bring her back to the orphanage.â
âMm-hm.â The taller woman nods.
The two woman head out from the ground and into the forest ahead.
Willow staresâŠ
The she blinks. Once she opens her eyes, she suddenly finds herself back in front of the crosses, not holding the doll she found. Bernie sits in her grip.
She stares into the distance.
Sheâs absolutely speechlessâŠ
Everything that happened⊠it was so muchâŠ
Her being born from a doll. Her belonging to a family of witches. Her home and family being torn apart and killed.
But the most overwhelming thingâŠ
She was a Wickerbottom.
âWillow!â A voice calls from behind.
Willow is smacked out of her world of thought. She looks back.
Itâs Wickerbottom.
âWhat are you doing out here!?â Wickerbottom asks. âWhy arenât you asleep back home!?â
Willow doesnât answer. Tears well up in her eyes.
Then, she snaps.
âWHY DIDNâT YOU TELL ME I WAS YOUR GRANDDAUGHTER!?â She exclaims. âWHY DIDNâT YOU TELL ME ABOUT MY FAMILY!?â
Wickerbottomâs eyes go wide in confusion. ââŠWhat?â She asks.
âMy family⊠they died in a witch hunt! You LIVED here! YOU were related to them, and YOU DIDNâT TELL ME!? WHAT IS YOUR DEAL!?â
ââŠWillow, I donât understandââ Wickerbottom begins.
Willow cuts the librarian off. âYES, YOU DO!â She exclaims. âYOU ARE LYING TO ME!â
âNo, Iâm not!â Says Wickerbottom.
âYou didnât want to tell me because it would 'overwhelm me' didnât you!?â Says Willow. âBecause, apparently, I canât handle the truth, right!?â
âWillow, no! That isnâtââ Wickerbottom gets cut off again.
âTHEN WHY!?â Willow exclaims.
âBecause I didnât want you getting involved with family matters!â Wickerbottom exclaims. âThis is a personal matter between me and my family!â
âBut I AM your family!â Willow exclaims, pointing her hands toward her chest.
âNo, we arenât!â Says Wickerbottom.
âYes we are!â Willow retorts. âI saw it! I saw the past!â
âHow?â Wickerbottom asks sternly.
ââŠSome⊠weird doll!â Says Willow.
âShe is not wrong, mother.â Says a voice.
The duo look back.
Near the crosses, the spirits of Winslow and Waylon Wickerbottom hover. They stare upon their living family.
Wickerbottom and Willow slowly walk up to the couple.
ââŠOh, WaylonâŠâ Says Wickerbottom. ââŠMy boyâŠâ
âYouâre Wickerbottomâs kid?â Willow asks Waylon.
âYes.â Says Waylon nodding. He looks over to Wickerbottom. âI see you want an explanation for what she saw.â He says, then turns to Willow. âYou do too.â
âYeah.â Says Willow.
âYes, dear.â Says Wickerbottom.
Waylon nods. âWillow, your motherâŠâ He hesitates. He looks over to Winslow; who puts a hand to his shoulder, smiles, and nods, indicating that she doesnât mind him sharing this particular fact about her. ââŠYour mother is infertile. She canât have kids.â
âBecause I wasnât able to give birth to a child, we thought weâd see a doll maker to assist us.â Says Winslow.
Willowâs brows furrow. She tilts her head. âWhatâs a doll maker?â
âA doll maker makes dolls that a wedded couple can make if the wife is infertile. Or if it was a same sex couple that wanted a baby.â Says Wickerbottom. âThose specific kinds of dolls contain what makes up both the mother and fatherâs genes. Meaning that although you werenât born by normal means, you still have the genetic makeup of your parents.â
Willow nods, understanding what Wickerbottom said. Wilson had talked about genetics so much during her survival days that it practically got burned into Willowâs brain. Wickerbottom also helped with cementing that knowledge in more.
Waylon nods. âThe night that you had been given life, as you sawâŠâ
âWe were killed. And our home was taken down. Along with many villagers.â Says Winslow.
âBut what about Wickerbottom?â Willow asks.
âShe had run off.â Says Winslow. âShe was able to get away safely.â
âAnd start a new life as a librarian.â Says Wickerbottom. âIâve kept this secret with me for 20 years. Since I was in my 40s.â
âWhat about me?â Asks Willow. âHowâd I live?â
âOh, thatâs because of the doll.â Says Winslow, smiling a bit. âTheyâre fire resistant.â
Willow smirks. âI kinda suspected that actually.â She smiles. âSick.â She says to herself. She then looks to Wickerbottom. âBut how come you didnât know I was granddaughter? I thought youâd know?â
Wickerbottomâs expression droops a bit. âI was on my way to see youâŠâ Says Wickerbottom. ââŠBut then the attack happened⊠I never got to meet you⊠I had no idea that my granddaughter had been by my side all this time I had known her.â
Willow smiles. âAs long as I know you werenât trying to lie to me.â
Wickerbottom looks to Willow sternly. âIf I had known you were my granddaughter, I wouldâve shared this with you.â She says. âI never intended to lie to you.â
Willow smiles. âYouâd never do that, would you?â She asks.
âIâd never hide my roots from my family.â Says Wickerbottom, smiling.
Willowâs smile grows. She almost feels tears forming in her eyes.
âAnyway, would you like to stay?â Asks Waylon. âIâve been wanting to see how my family has been doing.â
âI have as well.â Says Winslow.
âThatâs why I came here.â Says Wickerbottom. âTo say hello. Talk with you both.â
âWhat about you, Willow?â Winslow asks, looking over to Willow.
Willow smiles brightly. âSure!â She says. âIâd love to get to talk to my actual parents! Anyway, whatâs up with Bernie?â She looks down to the bear in her grip. âIs he magic? Why was he moving on his own earlier, if you know? He normally doesnât do that.â
âOh, we casted a spell on it.â Says Waylon. âOne that allowed him to protect you. A little gift from us to you.â
âAnd I had possessed him.â Says Winslow. âI wanted to help you discover youâre past. Youâre family.â
Willow smiles. âCool!â She exclaims.
â
The sun has begun to rise. Willow and Wickerbottom head back home from the clearing after having said their farewells to their family. They plan to see them next year, exactly a year after having discovered they are family.
âItâs crazy to me that I had known you for ages, but never knew you were my grandma.â Says Willow, looking over to Wickerbottom.
Wickerbottom chuckles a bit. âSame here, dear.â She says. âI never expected a future such a this to be true.â
âNeither did I.â Says Willow. âItâs cool though. The fact that Iâve got witch blood in my viens.â Willow says as she punches the air in front of her a bit.
âIt is, dear.â Says Wickerbottom, smiling softly.
The two walk back home, talking about their family, their relations.
And how everyoneâs loose ends have finally been tied.

We can all use a little comfort from time to time, so whatâs the first thing that comes to mind when you see the following:
Song: Not a strong start.....I donât really have one?
Band: Oh boy...
Movie: Ummmm..........
Actress: Dammit you guys....
Actor: Nope.
TV Show: OH! I got two!! Scrubs or Brooklyn 99!Â
Concert Video: I actually have one of these too. @whatwouldmickeydo this is Jeremy Jordan
Book: I know Dr. Seuss was a racist dick, but Oh the Places Youâll Go just makes me feel things.
Author: I wouldnât say she gives me comfort, but I have a deep respect for Margaret Atwood and I dream of running into her on the streets of Toronto. Iâd fully shut down.
Poem: Oh I got several of these! The Road Not Taken - Robert Frost (it was the first poem I ever analyzed for a paper); The Cremation of Sam McGee - Robert Service; Point B - Sarah Kay; Tearaway - Winona Linn; Annabel Lee - Edgar Allan Poe

Meal: fried chicken
Snack: All dressed chips or chocolate ice cream, depending on the mood

okay i have so so so so many thoughts.
i was ALSO very surprised that ben was there. actually even more so about ben than beckett, charlie, or xander which i think is very telling and definitely would not have been true a few books ago.
i was also (i guess pleasantly?) surprised by eastonâs presence and im really interested about this whole situation of him living and lily and loâs house and i wish we could see more of that.
the beer thing is also kind of surprising? only because the last patreon bonus we got (KINNEYS POV!!!) of the girl squad drinking the parents did NOT receive well (i mean that was secretly so itâs different but this was still an interesting switch up). particularly interested that xander is drinking with his own history and his parentsâ but i think it makes sense that he feels comfortable around family. i canât believe theyâre ALL sleeping at the penthouse?! lmao (i bet charlie will leave though)
but also. ALSO!!! i am so sad for ben âčïž what is happening to my boy âčïž and whatâs happening with him and winona. they were such an iconic duo in their youth and now abruptly had this weird falling out that everybody ~knows~ about but is also extremely vague about and maybe doesnât even know what happened? reason 1827272829 i need benâs book STAT
whew i just finished rereading my ulu reading thread so you know what that meansâŠ.last time ever doing this for the like us series (đ„ł)âŠâŠnobody like us reading thread starts now!!!
#repair ben and xanderâs relationship 2k24!!!! repair ben and winonaâs relationship 2k24!!!!#ACTUALLY WAIT I TAKE THAT BACK#NOT THIS YEAR NOT THIS YEAR#kbr hear my prayers and DO NOT. UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES. fix these relationships until itâs actually one of their books#iâll be sick to my stomach if it happens off page again like truly#these rifts are too important to me and too long in the making for them to just write it off#juli reads nlu

Iâm all for more Jonathan-Joyce scenes in general but Iâm not sure why so many (and Charlie himself apparently?) think that the 2 of them having a big conversation is so essential to Jonathanâs development. We saw Joyce waiting anxiously for his admission letter to Emerson so she wants him to move on. Itâs consistent with her mentioning NYU in S1. She also has apologized for relying too much on him after her divorce. And she seems to have less trouble than him trusting a few people to help her (and boss them around, lol) : Bob, Murray, Hopper. Jonathan has to work on himself and his insecurities, Iâm not sure what else Joyce could do or say that would help him.
Hmm idg this take at all. First, Joyce and Jonathan scenes were such a fantastic part of s1âthey were so complex and developed. And then the show just completely dropped it. It def feels like they need to talk; Jonathan is still under tons of stress, was self medicating in s4 (which she didnât know somehow), doesnât feel comfortable leaving his family (he also changed his whole college plans which she doesnât know abtâaltho btw I wonder if she wonders why he didnât apply to NYU), he has been parentified for a long time, is still dealing with the lingering effects of Lonnie, and is about to get a new Dadâthey could or should discuss any of these things. The idea that Jonathan just has to work on himself and his insecurities so they shouldnât talkâhe does have a mom he was close with and what about âyou think youâre all alone but youâre not alone?â Joyce and Jonathan talking would be v useful to Jonathanâs development bc we havenât seen it happen since s1 and thereâs a lot there to talk about.
I def think talking to his mom would help himâit would help him feel more that the family is safe and he could be apart from them, and it would check in about how he is. Itâs not that it solves all his problems; heâll still have a lot to work on, but how weird would it be to come full circle to s1 and not have these characters interact? Itâs so weird they havenât interacted for multiple seasons as it is. I think the actorsâlike Charlie saying he wants to see Joyce and Jonathan talkâare also baffled such a complex relationship was dropped and it would just be so weird if they didnât talk before the show ends. Plus who wouldnât want to work with Winona lol. Itâs also just been a way the show has minimized all the Byers and the complexity of the Byers.

The other day I went in the DST files to go see all the lore âtipsâ that now show up during loading time (because the game usually loads so damn fast so I donât get the chance to read it xD) so I leave them here if it can interest someone:
TIP_TIME = "Time moves differently in the Constant. Instead of a monotonous forward march, seconds and eternities seem to throw caution to the wind and do-si-do backwards and forwards as they please.",
TIP_WILSON_UNI = "Wilson chose the path of an independent Gentleman Scientist after finding the university environment to be too stifling for a man of his ambitions. (The enormous bill the university sent him to pay for repairs to the chemistry lab had absolutely nothing to do with this.)",
TIP_WINONA_CHARLIE = "Growing up, Winona always looked out for her younger sister. Even now, she can't help but feel that one day she'll be able to reach out into the darkness and pull Charlie back.",
TIP_MAXWELL_SURVIVORS = "Once the King of the Nightmare Throne, Maxwell now finds himself surviving alongside the very people he once tormented. Needless to say, it makes for a bit of an... awkward atmosphere.",
TIP_MAXWELL_PAST = "Maxwell (né William Carter) was once nothing more than a humble stage magician, until the discovery of a mysterious tome changed the course of his life forever.",
TIP_DARKNESS_CHARLIE = "In the Constant, the darkness has a name. Have you met Charlie yet?",
TIP_WARNING = "\"Nothing here is what it seems. If you're reading this, keep an eye on the rabbits, don't trust the statues, and don't mistake that thing hanging in the night sky for the moon...\" -W",
TIP_WOODIE = "Even with all the steps Woodie has taken to control his were-curse, there's little that can be done on nights when the moon is at its fullest.",
TIP_WILLOW = "Nothing brings Willow more comfort than snuggling her faithful teddy bear Bernie, and committing a playful bit of arson.",
TIP_WICKERBOTTOM = "Wickerbottom is of the firm belief that the pen is mightier than the sword. Words hold great power when used correctly.",
TIP_WENDY = "Nothing could ever come between Wendy and her twin sister Abigail. Some bonds transcend even death.",
TIP_WEBBER = "Once upon a time, a little boy was swallowed up whole by a big hungry spider. Now they share everything; a body, a mind, and the name Webber.",
TIP_WALTER = "Walter's time in the Pinetree Pioneers has made him more prepared than most for surviving in the wilderness. Unfortunately, this is undermined somewhat by his blind fascination with monsters.",
TIP_THEM = "\"You can't run from Them forever. Take it from me, pal.\" -M",
TIP_PORTALS = "\"It seems that every time we discover a doorway out of this terrible place, it just leads to more strange worlds with new horrors to endure. Still, I can't give up hope that one day we'll find a doorway that will take us home...\" -W",
#these are really cool for new players#don't starve lore can be a bit obtuse a first if you dont go stalk the wiki and the trailers xD#so this definitely helps#I wasn't expecting this new Wilson lore though??#it's hilarious#also signing almost all of those -W is absolutely so funny and I love it#these are also only the lore tips there's a bunch more but they are more for playing the game#anyway you can find them in the strings.lua file if I recall correctly if some wanna see them all!#dont starve#dont starve stuff#lore#dont starve together#apologies if someone already posted this!!

Maybe Winona (dst) concepts where you got sucked in with her at the factory so now she protects you with her life? :)
I can try, sure! I was today years old when I learned she's related to Charlie.
Yandere! Winona Concept
Pairing: Romantic/Platonic
Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Yandere-like behavior, Obsession, Overprotective behavior, Manipulation, Mentioned trauma/relative 'death'
- Winona and you most likely worked together in the factory.
- You two were really close, Winona probably even liking you a little more than she should have.
- Then the whole portal incident happens.
- Once she repairs it, you enter the room to save her from the disaster happening at the factory.
- "Winona? Come on! We don't have time!"
- That's when you see the portal take your friend, you rushing in to grab her hand before being dragged in too.
- Now, you both are in an unfamiliar place, only having each other to survive.
- Winona when she enters the Constant with you is already quite shaken up.
- Before entering the portal, she saw her long lost sister.
- The one she thought had been lost forever-
- That's not the only thing that scares her, either.
- You're both in an unknown place.
- She's both relieved and scared that you're with her, but she now knows she needs to keep you safe.
- She can't lose you too....
- So she'll do anything to keep you with her, even in this unrecognizable land.
- "It's just us now, I guess.... Let's find a way to survive, alright?"
- Unsurprisingly in this situation, Winona is protective of you.
- She's scared for the safety of both of you, often tinkering with what she has to make defense mechanisms around the base you two create.
- Having it just be you two can be somewhat of a comfort to Winona, but she is still rather stressed about threats in this realm.
- In this realm she'll do what she can to have you safe.
- She may even be able to tell you how she really feels.
- When you two are more situated, at least.
- The more you two gather, build, and fend of creatures... the more your bond strengthens.
- You see Winona as someone you can trust.
- Someone you feel you can lean on.
- While Winona only falls even more in love with you.
- She liked you before the fall of the factory, but now she feels herself spiraling more and more into her little obsession.
- Winona is Protective and Obsessive over you.
- No sadism in sight, just a smart and strong woman protecting who she cares about.
- Winona can get anxious about the safety of you and her too, which feeds into her anxiety.
- But she's happy she at least is stuck with you.
- In this realm, she loves and protects you, you'll just have to accept her feelings right?
- Not like you can leave her if you didn't, you'll die out there alone.
- "We've built this base from the ground up, together. You won't leave, right? I can't lose you...."

Now that I understand what your saying I 100% agree. The only scenes I can think of that really showed how much Will loved/cared about Jonathan was in season 1 when he was in the hospital yet was more concerned about if Jonathan is ok and when he kept singing the song Jonathan played him when he was scared in the upside down as a way to comfort himself. Joyce was always more focused on Will then Jonathan(plus she put way too much responsibility on Jonathan) and I canât think of a single scene where Mike showed love and concern for Nancy(or anybody else in his family for that matter)
Indeed. It's really a shame. I don't understand why they seem to be actively avoiding it. Charlie (Jonathan's actor) said Winona was literally going "wth why can't I hug my other son" while they were filming season 3 and they just straight out refused her.

Tell me about your favorite film!
This ask made me realise how much I am Not a movie person. My instinctual response to "what's your favourite film" would be "Monty Python and the Holy Grail" which is sort of like being invited to a gastronomy conference and loudly announcing your favourite food is sausage pizza.
In any case, I will talk about a Selection of four movies I've liked, Monty Python included. (long-ish rant ahead)
1. Sense and Sensibility (1995):
Starting with Sense and Sensibility as it is my favourite Austen adaptation! It happens to star many of my favourite actors so I am biased in my judgement but I find it to be so marvelously entertaining. I like that it doesn't feel too sprawling and grand, it has this sort of restrained yet delicate feel to it. Like an old chest filled with handmade lace tablecloths. I enjoyed how the differences between Elinor and Marianne were accentuated yet both of them were treated with the outmost love by the narrative. I enjoyed their dynamic a lot!
2. Monty Python and the Holy Grail (1975): I wonât offer any analysis on this but I will simply express how much I love it. I will also say that I am so glad (almost) everyone likes this movie because it deserves all the appreciation in the universe. It will Never be overrated. Even if every single person in the world watches it ten times a day and quotes it from morning to night, it wonât be over-appreciated. I think itâs such a classic silly movie, a comedy staple! The acting is, of course, excellent (especially my beloved Graham Chapman), the gags, the costumes, the music, the concept!! Everything is a colourful, hilarious bombastic Arthuriana parody and itâs simply perfection. It has influenced so many other movies and shows and it will always be one of my top comfort movies ever.
3. A Man with a Movie Camera (1928): OKAY SO, this one has been on my favourite film list ever since I had a constructivist phase like a year and a half ago. It technically doesnât have a plot but I find it very interesting how it shows a progressive narrative, sort of like the âlife cycleâ of the cities it depicts. It portrays the city sort of like a living organism, being born and waking up, breathing, moving, dying etc. It doesnât use any actors just actual footage from various cities and the director used so many cool and creative and very new techniques for his time (which I find very interesting). I also like seeing industrialism being explored in art in general (so it was definitely relevant to my interests).
4. Little Women (1994): I watched this rather recently and I was blown away! The actors did a marvelous job at portraying family relations so full of tenderness and love, especially Winona Ryder and Trini Alvarado. The performances had this incredible authentic feel to them and the atmosphere of the movie was that of a Christmas feast and a cozy living room. Having watched the 2019 little women movie, I believe that this one truly managed to explore in depth Jo and Meg as characters (Florenceâs Amy will always be my favourite though). Winonaâs performance encapsulated this, raucous and fearful pain of adolescence and the overwhelming chaos in the face of all the unknown possibilities, alongside intense determination fuelled by love and the desire to live as widely as possible. Loved this version of Jo March she was great!
Bonus - so-bad-it's-good movie: Bonnie Prince Charlie (1948)
Do you like hammy acting? Bad costumes? Drawn-out plots? Obviously fake scenery? Idealised portrayals of historical figures? If your answer to the above is âyesâ, then Bonnie Prince Charlie is the movie for you! A dramatised depiction of the 1745 Jacobite Rebellion, itâs objectively Baaaaaad at being a serious historical drama. However, if you forget itâs meant to be serious and just watch it as a comedy it suddenly becomes so entertaining. It does have a lot of comedic elements, see: the washerwoman disguise, and ~zee obnoxiously fake German accents of George II und zee Duke of Cumberland~ but other than that it is a pretty entertaining movie in general. The lead actor absolutely despised filming it, and itâs rather obvious which makes it even funnier. It does have some pretty good scenes but trust me, if I ever recommend it, itâs not for its quality.

Hell Here
Netflix has finally released a trailer for the long awaited Wednesday and i have to say, i love it! Listen, I've been a fan of the Addams Family for years. Long before those two excellent films (I'll get to those in am minute) i used to watch the old Fifties show religiously. It came on during the afternoon, right before Fox Kids Club. I watched The Munsters, The Addams Family, The Andy Griffith Show, and The Beverly Hillbillies. The standout for me was, of course, The Addams Family. When the Nineties films released, i was all over them. Already accustomed to the macabre shenanigans of these gothic good-fellows, i absolutely gravitated toward these more campy, eccentric, takes on the characters. I loved these films and my favorite character in them was, Wednesday. I literally fell in love with Wednesday Addams and developed an actual crush of Christina Ricci, one that I've held to this day. Suffice it to say, i am looking forward to what Netflix had planned but, more than that, it was cosigned by Tim Burton.
I really have to get around to that list of my favorite directors because there are plenty but Burton is up there. I love this dudeâs style. I love the approach he takes to making his films. Burton basically makes live action cartoons. Thatâs it. Thatâs the draw. It makes sense as he got started as an animator at Disney but got canned because of his WAY too gothic sensibilities. The man crafts amazingly visual fairy tales and you absolutely have to respect the f*ck out of that. His films, however morbid, macabre, or weird, never disappoint. Even his stop motion work puts others to shame. Beetlejuice, James and the Giant Peach, A Nightmare Before Christmas, his two Bat-flicks, Corpse Bride, Edward Scissorhands, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Mars Attacks are all favorites. I trust in this manâs ability to craft a wonderful cinematic experience and look forward to what he contributes to Wednesday as a producer. I enjoy Tim Burton and, as a black dude, some cats might find that odd. Others, problematic.
Tim Burton doesnât cast black people in his films. Hell, he doesnât cast anyone of color, really. Like, Billy Dee Williams got to be Harvey Dent in the first Batman but, of the top of my head, thatâs it. Everyone else is either Johnny Depp, Winona Ryder, or Helena Bonham Carter. For me, i get it. The aesthetic Burton uses does not lend itself to those with melanin. In this manâs entire filmography, four films have had people of color in them. Cats are piling on the dude for being literally anti-black, which can be a thing. When asked about this lack of diversity in his films, Burton did himself no favors with his ridiculous answer but i get it. Dude leans heavy into German Expressionism. Striking whites to contrast exaggerated sets and costumes. Colors are as much a character as the actors and the palette Burton chooses to use does not allot for a lot of wiggle room in the melanin department. I get it. I donât like it but i get it.
Burton is an artist. He is, by definition, an auteur director. If he doesnât want to cast colored folk in his lily white films, thatâs fine. I canât be mad at a guy for following his creative inspiration, even if that inspiration is devoid of anything resembling representation. Does this mean Tim Burton is racist? I donât think so. I donât think Burton hates black people. I think heâs just comfortable with his deathly pale white folks. Do i think his films are problematic for their lack of diversity? Personally? No. If you get mad at Burton, you have to get mad at Peele because itâs kind of the same thing. More than that, Burton is really f*cking good at his goddamn job, man. I never once questioned why there werenât any black folks in his movies because they were, very obviously, cartoons to me. Everything was surreal and exaggerated, so it was easy to accept that no one who looked like me, lived in those worlds. Besides, what black person is going to live in a place like Sleepy Hollow? What person of color is about to hire f*cking Beetlejuice to exorcise some ghosts or whatever?
Ultimately, i donât think Time Burton has malice in his heart when he excludes people of color from his films. I think he just doesnât believe they fit the look of the narrative heâs trying to tell. For me, itâs as simple as that. But I'm not a Zoomer and i did grow up on this manâs stuff. I have a much thicker skin for things like that because i grew up during a time when i needed one. I do love the fact that the youth are questioning the sh*t i took for granted, though. I love that they are challenging the status quo. Burton should be called out on this bullsh*t. He deserve to answer these hard questions but does his lack of diversity tarnish his filmography for me? Not at all. Heâs still one of my favorite directors and i thank him every day of my life for vacuum sealing Michelle Pfeiffer into that catsuit.

Right so Iâm gonna post my mood boards and MC content for my fic primary. which I have yet to publish but am hella excited about. This is a lot so if you donât wanna read it thatâs completely fine.
"Winona, send a selfie to the islander that you think is the most attractive."
Winonaâs smile doesnât quite reach the panicked look in her wide eyes, her hands fumbling at the strap of her strawberry patterned bum bag out of nervous habit.
"Oh, okay! Iâm not good at selfies, so if itâs really iffy Iâm dead sorry!" Winona chirps, brandishing the instant camera looped around her neck before Hope gently prises it from her hands.
âThey meant your phone, babes.â
Winona blinks.
âOh, okay!â
There's a complete pantomime of her scrambling to find her phone in her bag and then once she finds it, an even longer ordeal with her fiddling with her phone before she smiles in relief. After pressing her screen a cacophony of buzzes emit - she'd forwarded it to everyone.
âYou were supposed to pick one islander." Lottie bemoans, to which Winona smiles in a way that is wholly innocent, her cheeks faintly flushed.
âOh, I couldn't decide! I think you're all lovely!"
Winona Wright
A 24 year old trainee Primary School teacher born and raised in a caravan park in a tiny rural town all the way in North Wales, Winona has unfortunately been given the reputation of being unlucky at finding love on the one show where finding love is the one thing youâre meant to do. Ceaselessly enthusiastic and at times way too forgiving, Winona has the tendency to back everybody but herself and will put her own feelings on the back burner for the sake of everyone else to the point it has escalated to where sheâs mediating everybodyâs relationships while her own deteriorates. Believes that nobody is a lost cause and definitely has the whole âIâm not mad, just disappointed.â thing down to a t as itâs very rare to get a blow up from her. In the rare instances it happens itâs absolutely monumental and from a place of hurt and thatâs when you know youâve fucked up. Best friends with Hope and is the driving force behind her taking risks and doing whatâs right for herself while being the one person Hope feels comfortable enough to be vulnerable around. Besides Hope, sheâs really close friend with Rahim and is the first person to stick up for him and boost his confidence. The other islanders (even if they arenât close with her.) know who to go to when theyâre feeling down and need somebody to lend an ear. She jokes that sheâs been put in the Villa because the budget for on site mediators had been cut but hey, on site mediators donât make a cup of tea and call you âsausageâ affectionately. Sheâs still in the throes of trying to get over her unrequited crush on her best mate(đđđ) and more often than not when people couple up with her itâs to spite their partner because âoh youâre such an antagonistic fuck that Iâm coupling up with her for relief đĄđĄđĄâ and while it irk her a little bit that every coupling sheâs had has crashed and burned, she knows that sheâs there for a reason and that even if it takes a bit of time, sheâll find the right person for her.
Style wise sheâs got a hankering for anything kitschy, bright and eye catching. Itâs kind of an ingrained habit from her job but also because she wants her style to reflect her personality as much as possible and she absolutely lost her mind when she saw the strawberry dress for the first time. Open to listening to just about anything if somebody tells her about it with enough enthusiasm and is a keen listener to the point she smashes most of the challenges as she remembers the silly and somewhat insignificant details about whoever sheâs partnered with. She wants everyone to feel important and listened to.
And the two new Casa Boys bc primary. Is so far from canon aidjsjdsj
Charlie Booth
The fourth boy saunters across the poolside with an assured austere that carries from his posture all the way to his expression. Heâs rather pale, incredibly tall and yet he carries himself with a careful elegance to compensate for the clumsiness that would befall somebody with his frame. His hair is dark, not particularly neat but cut in a way that makes it a lot easier to style. He radiates the energy of an old film star with a transatlantic accent and a statuesque austere, or perhaps the quintessential British gentleman - the kind whoâd don Saville Row suits and drink whiskey, pure curated class in every sense of the word. He was somebody who exudes confidence in a more refined and astute manner in a vein similar to Lucas. He doesnât brood like Lucas however, as the beginnings of a broadening smile presses itself upon his lips as he carefully assesses the row of girls. Winona noted that never seen eyes like his before, such an intense and arresting shade of jade green framed by stark, thick black lashes. Theyâre light and striking yet gleaming with kindness rather than a piercing look - he seems to sense that the girls are just as nervous as he is.
âWell this isnât fookinâ Butlins, is it? Iâm Charleh.â
The Mancunian accent that escapes him is the starkest juxtaposition Winonaâs ever bore witness to - she absolutely loves it. A hum of chuckles from the girls seems to satisfy both Charlie and production, as the door opens again.
26, born and raised in Manchester but based in Kensington. Raised with a very working class upbringing and raised in one of the seven sisters apartment blocks, Charlie originally intended on getting a job at a building site to help support his Mother and siblings but ended up becoming a tailor who helps run his estranged Fatherâs business after his health steadily began to decline and he could no longer run the shop. The working relationship between the two was rather contentious at first and there was a lot of resentment for obvious reasons, but nonetheless Charlie is very dedicated to everything he does and worked hard to learn how to properly make made to measure and bespoke garments. While it wasnât something he was initially passionate about, heâs found a deep love and appreciation for the craftsmanship that was put into it and his sense of style definitely evolved from the laddism tinged stuff he was used to. Iâd say heâs pretentious but unintentionally, he really loves climbing and hiking and Henrik is very surprised because heâs so put together and refined looking. Charlie can be very playful but thereâs a front you kinda have to ebb away first because he has a hard time trusting people. When it comes to conflict heâs more keen on subtle remarks/muttering shade about the perpetrator into the ear of the wronged party and making it an inside joke, he can be very petty when he wants to be. Charlie is a mf enigma honestly. Bisexual legend (and figured it out while on the show, although heâd always put it into question but pushed it aside bc our workaholic king was like âthis is a problem for future me.â)
Favourite Music Genre: he was pretty much reared on the Madchester genre and has a whole catalogue of vinyls from the Factory Records label because of his Mumâs influence but heâs def got a soft spot for 90s girl groups and 70s Pop (although heâd have to trust you A LOT to tell you this because he wants you to think heâs this very refined pretentious mf when in actuality he lives off Bernard matthews Turkey dinosaurs, potato smiles and beans.)
Wren Ellis
"I- Oh gosh, I'm so sorry. I'm usually not this bad at the chat stuff, please don't think I'm always like this." Winona blathers. Wren cracks a sympathetic smile, reaching over to pull her in a gentle embrace. She's engulfed with the comforting aroma of smoky, rich cedarwood thatâs warm from settling into his skin while offset with wafts of apple from his shampoo. It's a clash yet it's befitting for the character that Wren seemed to be.
"Don't worry about it, it's just a silly little thing, I'm not gonna think you're some asshole 'cause you didn't get some shitty little chat up line I come up with. If this is making you really nervous, I could always ask somebody to give you a breather for a bitâŠ"
He stares pointedly at the huddle of crew.
"I understand this is a lot, I'm only calm 'cause I had a few shots before all this and-"
The sharp ding of the bell ringing out interrupts his stream of pleasant chatter. A cameraman gives him a sharp look to which Wren scoffs with a roll of his eyes, ever the contrarian.
"Fuck the bell, I'm not moving until you're alright."
As for Wren, heâs definitely Charlieâs polar opposite. Where Charlie is completely controlled and curated, Wren is chaotic and a lot less put together. Wren is a Freelance Artist/Barista who graduated from Goldsmiths with a degree in Fine Art, heâs completely dedicated to his craft and has a keen eye for all things creative even if his process and approach is a bit more balder-dashed. He believes that his best work comes from when he is stricken by inspiration in the early hours and the idea absolutely will not leave his mind until he etches it down. Heâs 26, from an unorthodox Jewish family and lives in Brighton, but lived in New Jersey up until he was 13. Heâs still slightly got the accent and he definitely gets a bit homesick sometimes but he found so much happiness and made so many good memories in Brighton that he doubts heâd go back there permanently. Heâs covered in stick and poke tattoos made by his artist friends and he loves every single one of them (and can recant the stories that led up to each one off by heart.) Despite his sort of scatterbrained and playful front, he can be very patient and attentive not to mention heâs very outspoken and vehement in his defence for the people he cares about and just about anybody in general, if he perceives something to be wrong he will gladly stick up for the wronged party and will throw hands on their behalf if pushed to extremes. He dislikes pretentiousness and hates the sneering pomposity that seems to permeate in some aspects of the art world (because most of the time itâs a thinly veiled attempt at making things a lot less accessible for people.) although he very much tolerates Charlie because he understands that his pretentiousness is unintentional and heâs just genuinely passionate about his craft to the point that he tells everyone about it as if they donât understand it because the amazement he had the first time he learnt about it kinda carried over, it has this whole air of mystique thing. Also bisexual (heâs known since he was about 16.) Wrenâs music taste is very âIâm a former punk but trying to hide it by listening to folksy stuffâ PACK IT UP REN FAIRE PRINCE AND GET YOUR MF BAD BRAINS VINYL OUT!!!

begging for synopsis of deceased dennis folie analysis fic
okay okay okay i love talking about her so much and have spent all day trying to piece bits together but in all honestly i do not remember it all :( . here is my best run down âŠ.
basic outline is that each chapter is based off of each song from folie (however the fic was unfinished for many months before the author deleted their account </3 . i have a vague memory of it behind eight chapters long so far but am still very foggy on when it was actually last touched - i know for sure there were no chapters for 27 or tiffany blews because i was really looking forward to them) .. dennis reynolds character analysis !
disloyal order : âhey doctor iâm certifiableâ . this chapter was based around dennisâ diagnosis in physco pete returns .. heâs having a hard time accepting the diagnosis and wether or not he should take his meds - if he Needs them . calls dee and asks for her opinion, very interesting look into their sibling relationship there
i donât care : (i know there were Two charden back office hookup chapters i canât really remember which ones which though) charden back office hookups !!! mentions of how charlie and dennis have been doing this for ages it was always casual just what they needed whenever they needed it - Until the year mac and dennis were hooking up . i canât remember if This was the post north dakota charden back office chapter or not but . âsay my name and his in the same breath i dare you to say they taste the sameâ dennis says macs name instead of charlies and things get heated . this is not the first time heâs done that âŠ
sheâs my winona: set during suburbs !!! ânever the same person when i go to sleep as when i wake upâ moment of intimacy or more realistically vulnerability . dennis canât sleep and despite like everything he wants to be (i canât word this right sorry) he goes across the landing and crawls into macs bed for comfort . thereâs mention again of that year they were hooking up how good it all was and then how frozen it had been since . cuddles ?? i think
americaâs suitehearts : (i THINK) set during north dakota . dennis is in his car, as he often is, smoking crack . mandy doesnât know about any of it . âiâve got a lot of friends stuck on classic cokeâ ⊠contemplates going home . i think this was when he decided he needed to go back . mentions of how dee was the only person he kept in contact with properly . had asked about himself at the bar maybe and the reaction was disappointing.. i guess they donât miss me that much huh kind of . maybe . this ones very foggy it came back this morning though
headfirst slide : i cannot remember at all what this chapter was about but i know the lyrics were âitâs a sign what if you peaked earlyâ And âhead like a steel trap, wish I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I didn't, I don't just want to be a footnote in someone else's happinessâ âŠ. :/
shipped gold standard : again i canât remember it at all iâm sorry . iâm pretty sure the lyrics were the âi want to scream i love you from the top of my lungs but iâm afraid that someone else will hear meâ and was ab macden but . guesswork
coffees for closers : continued trend ! i canât remember! i think the lyrics were âwhen they made me they broke the mould, girls used to follow me around and then i got coldâ . i think this Might have been the other charden back office hookup chapter but i really canât be sure . iâm just going to talk about that here then . again one of the charden chapters was post north dakota i canât remember which iâm just going to keep pretending and say itâs this one . but . mac has brought some guy he likes into the bar and theyâre flirting .. den gets jealous - takes charlie into the back office âat least i have the dignity to not flirt infront of the whole barâ type deal . charlies worried like hey come on theyâre all out there anybody could just walk in. something happens ??? and dennis is Crying - like theyâre still hooking up but charlie notices that den Is Crying and stops despite dennis not admitting it . something something comfort . charlies used to dennis being Mad or not feeling anything - but recently heâs just been mad all the time - doesnât know quite what to do with an upset dennis, but i think den eventually lets charlie look after him in this moment .. hurt/comfort things. i think that mightâve been two chapters mixed into one but i canât remember straight.
i canât remember anything past this i do think that mightâve been the last chapter uploaded despite my memory of âeightâ ⊠anyways as usual here is a post where i have linked the fic incase anyoneâs smarter than me and iâve actually just been lying for the past month or so . we can see how wrong iâve remembered this </333
#iâm not checking over this itâs just directly what i can remember actually happened in so sorry
