if you could have a limited comic run (batgirl 2000-esque) for ANY minor character, who would you choose?

I have this little fantasy that in s3 Aziraphale and Crowley have to go into hiding (just for while) to escape The Metatron's wrath and decide to disguise themselves by fem presenting.

But instead of just femming up Michael and David, we actually get two female actors portraying Aziraphale and Crowley for like one episode. Now - they would have to be British, and they would have to be older or middle-aged. This love story needs the wisdom and experience of millenia - hot young things just won't cut it. We need the assured sexiness of a woman who's lived and knows her worth. But who could bring Aziraphale and Crowley to life with Shennant levels of chemistry! It would be a big ask!!

For me, the one and only choice for Aziraphale would have to be Olivia Coleman - can't you just see it! The effervescence of Michael's Aziraphale, she could definitely match that! We know she'd bring the heavy emotions if needed. And fem!Aziraphale (Olivia) and male!Crowley (David) we already know that chemistry is tried, tested and perfect. But fem!Crowley...

I'm struggling with my Crowley...

My first thought was Kate Beckinsale, you know, keep it in the family and all! And that woman can be sexy as hell! Then I thought Emma Thompson, she can sex it up, and she's absolutely bonkers hilarious! But in the end, I settled on Helena Bonham Carter, if she can't bring Crowley to life then no one can! Plus, we know that her and Olivia have great chemistry, but would it work as lovers rather than sisters mmmm....

RMD RMD!!! I must know! You are on a 12-hour trans-ocean flight, and you’re stuck in the middle seat in coach. Would you rather be trapped between David and Alexis, TK and Nancy or Alex and Nora? Please explain why. Oh and also they are fighting over something dumb. Thank you.

The first thing you need to know is that I am small and can curl up in an airplane seat no problem, so being in the middle doesn't really bother me at all. Also each of these options has me stuck between two very hot people, so this feels like the opposite of a problem!

Okay, I am ruling out Alex and Nora first because Alex talks far too much and while hearing his filibuster on orcas might be interesting, I don't want to listen to anyone non-stop on a 12-hour flight. Nora is less of an issue because I feel like if she was fighting with Alex, she'd eventually just tune him out and busy herself on her laptop.

While I am short and don't take up much space, TK and Nancy are both very tall with long legs and that might get annoying. Also I can't imagine that TK is a very calm flyer these days and that wouldn't be fun for me, especially if he and Nancy are arguing.

Which leaves David and Alexis as my choice. Now, this might seem like an odd choice to some people, but hear me out. It's been a long time since I've flown long-haul (basically everywhere from Australia is long-haul but I haven't flown internationally at all since I had kids). When I did travel more often though, what I always did was pop on a face mask to make sure my skin didn't get dehydrated and read or watch movies. Do you know who also likes face masks? David and Alexis. I think we'd be able to have a mini pamper sesh and then watch romcoms together. Alexis would probably talk through the movie just to annoy David, but eventually I'll fall asleep and I'm sure David's sweater would be very soft for me to rest my head on (once I've washed off the face mask of course). And he might seem prickly, but David is actually very kind so he'd probably let me keep snoozing.

This is tough. Suddenly all of my favorite actors just fell out of my brain ;alkds

But okay. My first thought was Jamie Clayton, who is my longtime crush from Sense8. I feel like she would play a minor antagonist and love interest along the lines of how Asha was introduced - maybe Nancy's ex?? Honestly, I'm dying to meet one of Nancy's ex-girlfriends. Jamie is 45, but they could age her down a bit and have her be the hot older woman Nancy had a hot fling with a few years back. (Sorry but Jamie would need to play a wlw because I said so, and she would NOT be Owen's love interest.)

Also Grace Park, because I miss her from my H50 days. She could play a hardass police or fire captain. Maybe she bumps up against Owen at a scene or two, but then they end up trapped somewhere together and have to work together to get out. She would be super competent and very good at her job!

Being forcefully raised as a woman is not any less traumatic and emotionally repressive as being forcefully raised as a man. Femininity is not inherently pure and safe. Coercing someone to perform femininity is not any less toxic than coerced masculinity. Being dysphoric around femininity or having trauma from women doesn’t make you a misogynist.
