Calm theory anon here!! I see that Jade ended things with her BF and now people are thinking that L and J will get back together. When a couple decided to end a relationship normally it happens for various reasons. It's never just one reason. So when L and J ended their relationship they had their reasons and those reasons are still I'm sure in play still. Whatever reasons they had aren't just going to solve themselves. If J and L truly loved each other then they could've fought for their love before the decision was made to end things. Also jade was before Nicola. Guys he has his soul mate. Yes they didn't date right away and I say this with all understanding Nicola is not a rebound type girl. She is a forever type girl. I am not one to ship actual actors. I have never been on a ship before. Guys I didn't even watch Bridgerton. I hardly even watch TV. Yet I came across an interview that Luke and Nicola did and was floored that they were not together. The type of connection they have is what most people yearn for and never get. They were able to drag me who doesn't hardly watch TV into their lives. I've become a first time shipper in my 40s. What they have is real and strong. As much as jade seems like a sweet girl she doesn't stand a chance against that type of love. I wish her well and that she finds what she looking for. As for Luke he is Nicola's.

I've said this before, but I will say it again. I'm almost certain N was part (and I'm saying PART, not the ONLY) reason L/J didn't end up working out. I can't predict the future, but N seems to be the one who has L's heart, and I think J knows this too. I think the L/J ship has sailed...

J breaking up with her boyfriend has no DIRECT connection necessarily to her current relationship with L. L/J broke up almost 2 years ago, and haven't seemed to interact in a longgg time, sooooo... there you go.
