RYUU my friend RYUU. Ryuu just-some-guy’d so hard he became the protagonist. Ryuu is, as many have said, a completely normal guy who’s completely unhinged. Ryuu is funny. He is completely nice and polite and regular, and he hates doctors and medicine and always takes medicine all at once, and he hunts down and exposes government secrets in like, a public court, in kind of a “well, I’m curious now” manner. He’s the guy ever. He’s stupid and smart in his own, novel, unique way. Ryuunosuke would hear about someone falling for a scam and go “they really should’ve seen that coming, it was obvious”, and then fall for the same scam himself. They should put Ryuunosuke in Smash.

All in all: he’s cool. I like his arc of always feeling like what he’s doing with his life is for the sake of other people and then just one day sort of suddenly realizing that it really is what he decided and what he wants. It makes me emotional. He is also like a little plate of pudding to me. He’s epic & my friend & I want to put him in a purse and carry him around and he gets scared because he is not supposed to be purse sized, thats fucked up

#the phrase ‘ryuu my friend ryuu’ is ingrained in my skull PERMANENTLY #intermittently i have more Advanced and Sane thoughts about him but #the only dgs ive seen in a few days is bits of 1-1 #so he’s temporarily receded in my mind #PEOPLE DONT APPRECIATE HIM ENOUGH THOUGH #and his relationships with other characters #WHEN HE INTERACTS W PPL ITS ALWAYS ASOUGI.
