Eurydice woke up. She felt like she was somewhere… all she remembered were three voices, almost mocking, almost similar, talking at the same time.

Gotta think quick. Gotta save face.

She gasped for air as she felt a hand on her shoulder. She looked at her arms, no child. Was this just some sick nightmare? Some sick vision?

She heard the chants. She felt blood run down her nose, she let out a yelp. The hand was gone, she stood, shaking.
