BRUH we just were on a meeting and one of the senior animators casually dropped that she had done some work for a relatively well known university and tHEY NEVER PAID HER?? like she was like "oh yeah, the co-producer and I know each other very well, we work together all the time, like earlier this year for that uni that never paid me lmao". On one hand I'm VERY glad the co-producer in question Immediately stopped and went "wait, seriously? Let's talk after this" because she's a veteran and has Actual Leverage so it'll probably get solved, but on the other. The fact that nobody in that meeting except for the co-producer was surprised. And the fact that not even SENIORS are immune from this kind of exploitation. This industry is fucked and greedy companies are all behind it i HATE it here man
