All my dnd games have just involved my character being me with funky powers a different name and different pronouns to me. Which considering that most of the ccs have different names that aren't the same name as their user + therefore character,, yeah it's really not that different from your avg dnd game. Some of them even use diff pronouns for their characters, eg Punz, who uses only he/him irl and almost exclusively uses they/them for his character, even though most ppl use he/they for his character.

yeah lmao the only dnd group ive been a part of where the characters werent based off us was like. this really snooty one run by this uber rich kid i was in when i was like. 10. and we had to come up with totally original characters and i hated it so much i quit after the first session. i think its pretty standard to make a roleplay character based of yourself lmao but that doesnt like. reduce the rp aspect
