Volvo might have designed a smaller vehicle, but it’s big on features and specs. Both configurations of the Volvo EX30 boast a 69 kilowatt-hour battery that supports 275 miles of range per charge. That’s a very respectable range, especially at such an affordable price that is sure to attract attention from customers(..).
P.S. Volvo EX30 will kill a myth that EVs are expensive to manufacture and suitable just as rich people toy cars...I think the big oil business will soon become desperate and they will try to start new anti-EV disinformation campaigns. Fortunately, the USA is not the only car market in the world, and in countries that do not have their own oil reserves, the Volvo EX30, especially in Europe, will gain quite a lot of popularity...

Cars Made in China, Sold in America - News from Test Miles on Vimeo.
As you cruise down the freeway, the next car you pass might be from China. Yes, the lineup of vehicles made in China is growing, and it’s not just about affordability anymore—it’s about advanced technology and competitive features. But this surge brings with it a complex brew of economic, security, and technological considerations that American consumers and policymakers must navigate.
Currently, American streets see models like the Polestar 2, Buick Envista, Lincoln Nautilus, and Volvo EX30—all manufactured in China. These models are just the tip of the iceberg in terms of what’s available globally. High-tech innovations are becoming standard in these vehicles, with features that could outpace Silicon Valley’s offerings. For instance, consider the Yangwang U8—a luxury electric SUV not only capable of swimming but equipped with state-of-the-art lidar technology, a 360-degree turning capability, and an eye-catching side-lighting battery status display.
Despite these advancements, the acceptance of Chinese cars in the U.S. market is mired in controversy. Senator Sherrod Brown of Ohio has vocally opposed the influx of Chinese-made electric vehicles, citing significant economic and security threats. His concerns aren’t just about market competition; they extend to national security. The intertwining of China’s automotive and technological growth with its government policies raises red flags around data privacy and geopolitical leverage.
Senator Brown argues that tariffs alone won’t stem the tide of Chinese automotive imports. His stance underscores a broader anxiety about China’s role in the global auto industry and its implications for American technological sovereignty. Given China’s rapid rise as a global economic power—projected to potentially overtake the U.S. by 2035—these cars are more than just machines. They are harbingers of shifting global power dynamics.
China’s automotive industry has seen exponential growth, supported by hefty government subsidies and bold technological strides. In 2023 alone, China outpaced Japan by exporting five million cars worldwide. This is not just a victory lap for China’s auto industry but a clear signal of its burgeoning dominance in global markets.
The debate over Chinese cars is complex. On one hand, these vehicles offer advanced technology and competitive pricing that challenge American manufacturers. On the other, the potential for foreign control over American consumer data and the broader economic implications cannot be ignored.
For American consumers, the choice isn’t just between different brands or models. It’s a decision about the future of American industry, technology, and security. As China’s cars park themselves into American lives, they bring with them questions about innovation, privacy, and economic independence.
This burgeoning reality forces a critical examination of what it means to be an automotive nation in today’s globalized world. Will America’s drive for innovation steer us toward international cooperation or turn us back toward domestic production? As the engines of the future rev up, the road ahead promises to be anything but straight.
With this evolving automotive landscape, the question remains: Are we ready to shift gears into a future where the lines between technology, territory, and trade are increasingly blurred? As these vehicles roll off production lines and onto American soil, the response from U.S. consumers and policymakers will set the course for the automotive world’s new normal.

P.S. There are already more than enough toy electric cars for the rich on the car market, ‘Ludicrous’ vehicles no longer solve much and buyers are no longer excited about yet another toy car with little practical value...!
It's not 2008 anymore, not even 2013...! The car market is waiting for mass-produced, practical everyday electric cars at a reasonable price......or otherwise will we continue to use the old smoky and semi-reliable diesels...because that's what most of us can realistically buy and use...or best alternative - the Chinese made affordable EVs!!!! Volvo EX30 is far more exciting EV...

Auto market reviewers forget that Europe is actually big and consists of MANY COUNTRIES! Unfortunately, the MG4 is only available in a few European countries. For this reason, the upcoming Volvo EX30 can become a real competitor for the MG4 throughout Europe...
