Vrindavan for vacations

Travelling to Vrindavan was something that you had always wanted to do so when your family finally made a plan to visit Vrindavan for vacations you couldn't be happier afterall you needed to visit the land of Krishna and who knew maybe you could find him there?

However travelling a long distances do make you tired easily so here you were outside your hotel already wishing to go to your hotel room and sleep as soon as possible.

Your father was currently taking out the luggage from the car as you waited for him along with your mother and siblings. You were feeling very happy and excited inside afterall you would finally see Vrindavan's beauty with your own eyes rather than just seeing it on phone or in pictures. The vibe of Vrindavan was totally different than your city. It was so calm and peaceful there. You could hear krishna's bhajans playing at a distance.

You looked around taking in a deep breath which had a cleansing effect on you. Looking around you saw a forest with tall trees standing at it's entrance. You didn't know why but you found that forest very enchanting.

Soon you father collected the luggage as you all made your way into the hotel and dozed off as soon as you entered your room and lied on the bed.

Suddenly in the middle of the night you woke up. You looked around to see your siblings just sleeping peacefully. You sat up on your bed and looked at the table near you gor water when suddenly something outside your window caught your eyes.

You saw a flash of light coming from the forest from your window. You got up from your bed and moved closer to the window to see what the source of light was but obviously you couldn't see.

You became more and more curious as you just decided to go out of the hotel and check for yourself. You made your out of the hotel and walked straight to the forest and honestly, you weren't scared because you knew nothing bad could happen to you, a krishna devotee on the land of krishna himself.

You walked into the forest making your way towards the direction the light was coming from. Walking closer and closer to the light when suddenly you heard the sound of flute. You stopped in your way. The music of the flute was too melodious. too sweet. It was as if you were hypnotized instantly.

You started moving again. The sound of the flute came from the same direction where the flashing light was. Strangely though the more you moved closer to the light the more it felt to move further away from you.

Soon you were tired but you still hadn't reached the source of the light and realizing you had walked too deep into the forest you cursed at yourself. Yeah you weren't scared of something happening to you but you were scared of your parents waking up and finding you sneaked out at night. Your mother's anger was scarier than anything.

You sighed as you sat down under a tree for a few minutes before you heard the flute music again but this time it sounded closer than ever. You quickly got up and ran into the direction you heard the sound of flute from.

This time the more you walked the more closer the sound of the flute felt until you reached a waterfall.

You looked around but there was no one there. You were devastated realizing you walked all that distance for nothing but your mood instantly got better when you saw the beautiful waterfall in front of you. The water was sparkling as if it wasn't water but a divine elixir. You walked closer to the waterfall sitting in front of it and taking a handful of water in your hand. You looked at the sparkling water in your hand before drinking it. You don't know how but it was the tastiest water you had ever had. It was water but it was sweet like nectar making you que if it was actually a divine elixir.

“miracles of Vrindavan huh“, You spoke to yourself as you took another handful of water before drinking it.

“arre who is it that is drinking water from my waterfall without my permission? being a theif is not good“, You suddenly heard a male's voice behind you which quite literally gave you a heart attack.

You snapped your head to look behind at who it was when suddenly you eyes met with the eyes of a incredibly divine looking man who was wearing a pitambar dhoti. A beautiful flower crown sat on his head with a peacock feather tucked to it. A golden flute tucked on his waist with a beautiful bejeweled waistband. His eyes big and sparkly shaped like lotus petals. His nose tall, sharp yet so pretty. Lips as if it were rose petals itself stuck to his face in the form of lips. his features soft yet sharp making your jaw drop on the ground.

Looking at him all ypu could think of was, “Krishna....?“, You spoke not believing your eyes.

“you even know my name? who are you lady? are you some apsara that has come down on earth?“, He looked at your face as he spoke giving you a teasing smile at the end.

You hadn't noticed it before but looking at him again you saw a glow of light that was radiating from his body. You were feeling dizzy. You did not know if it was reality or you were just dreaming but if it was a dream it was very real.

You stood up from where you were sitting and turned fully towards him as the man in front of you walked closer to you before standing just a few meters away from you. He smiled at you before plucking a beautiful red yellow flower from his crown.

“i think this flower suits you more than it suit me“, He said before taking your hands and putting the flower into your hands. You were already in speechless from whatever was happening in front of you but what made you even more speechless was the fact that you were no longer wearing the jeans and t-shirt that you wore when u entered the forest rather you were wearing a red lehnga with a beautiful bejeweled dupatta draping over your shoulder.

You were convinced now that it was all a dream. There was no way any of it could be real but a part of you wanted it to be real. However, after convincing your mind it was all a dream you felt more relaxed as you took the flower that Krishna gave you.

“why are you here Krishna?“, You asked looking at him.

“what do you mean? I am everywhere don't you know?“, He chuckled.

“you came here finding me and i came here finding you“, He said as he motioned his hand towards you.

You grabbed his hands without hesitation as he turned around and started walking with you following behind.

No one said a word. It was just you and Krishna walking in the woods hand in hand as the cold night breeze made your heart flutter and the thought of being with Krishna gave you butterflies.

Soon Krishna let go of your hand and took out his flute before playing the sweetest and most melodious tune that you had ever heard in your life.

The music was so sweet that you didn't realize but you had started to sway with the music dancing to the tune that Krishna played. You danced adound him like a peacock as he just just stood in the middle playing the sweetest of the tunes. You were so into the music that you had closed your eyes and were dancing without a care in the world.

You didn't even realized when the sweet night had come to an end and when you opened your eyes you found yourself in your bed sleeping beside your younger sibling. Getting up all you could think about was the events of previous night still questioning if it was a dream or reality but your thoughts got interrupted by the kock on the door of your room as your mother called from outside and told you to wake your sibling up and get changed.

You sighed as you woke your sibling up and got up to get fresh as well. You walked to your suitcase which contained all your clothes for the vacation. You opened up the suitcase to get your clothes however what you saw shocked you to the core. You saw the red lehnga with the bejeweled dupatta you had worn last night in your suitcase on top of all your clothes and a beautiful yellow flower sat on the lehnga as you just looked at those beautiful clothes with pure shock and confusion.

“was it real afterall?“, You asked yourself when suddenly you heard the same sweet melodious flute music coming from the same forest.
