For just $25.00 Presenting this hand thrown pottery lidded casserole dish. Has a beautiful slightly raised Dogwood floral design on the lid. The knob is offset to one side making it quaint and unusual. It appears that during firing this piece cracked a bit on the base and went through just a slight bit to the inside allowing the inner glaze to seep. . I tested it and it does not leak in any way. I show this in the pictures so please have look. The lid does not fit quite flush. While her home studio pottery making skills may not have been top of the line, her glazing techniques were spectacular! I love the Dogwood design on this casserole dish, the blue glazing on the inside and the earth tones of the outside. Unique handles on each side. I promise this will add charm to your decor! This is a very heavy Studio pottery item, weighing almost 5 pounds. I adjusted the price lower to hopefully help with shipping costs. Signed on the base Nancy D Bell ? ( hard to read) 10/ 79 Bon Appetite and numbered. No chips. Measures 4.5" tall with lid. It has a 9" inside diameter and an 11" diameter rim to rim.
