And while they might sometimes be nemesis' with Janet from two villages over cause last time you went to the communal church they "accidentally" stepped on your new shoes tho you know that really, they were mad jealous; if Harry's kid from the 17th village gets lost in the forest they will forget all and move as one, cause they are still your people

And on 4th july they come together and have like competitions on skills like sewing and looming and chopping trees and cooking and throwing rocks far and the big highlight is the wrestling pit that usually turns into mud wrestling by the end on the day and winners get bragging rights until next year and that's HUGE in a village setting

Yeah I'd just make it a village drama book
