  He’s typically pessimistic and sarcastic but he doesn’t mean to be. At least, not to everyone. It’s a defense mechanism for him in a way. When he was first transported to Twisted Wonderland he was pretty mean to a lot of the other students but over time his shell got cracked and he began to actually relax in the strange environment. Staying at Ramshackle before it got cleaned and fixed up caused his health issues to flare up so he more often than not would bunk at Heartslabyul. 

  He grew up in a strict household with many heavy expectations placed on him as the eldest sibling. Often times he would argue with his parents about what he wants for himself and his future but they only paid attention to the parts they wanted to hear. They were definitely not fans of his “witchy” hobbies. For a long time before coming to Twisted Wonderland he felt an immense feeling of loneliness. Sure he was around people and he thinks he had friends but he always had to be careful. Careful with what he said and did, constantly gauging others reactions. Whenever he was free from school and chores he would head to the stables he went riding at and spend as much time as possible there. Any time away from home was a gift to him.

Fun facts: The tarot card deck he brought with him was able to be enchanted so he can use them to cast spells. He joined the Pop Music club when Lilia saw him strumming a guitar that was left in the club room, Lilia insisted to hear him play more and soon enough he was a member. He misses his horse so if he’s not busy then he’ll stop by and help at the Equestrian club. He feels immense guilt for preferring Twisted Wonderland over his home world.

Cater: An unlikely friendship where they realized how similar they are. Cater helps him become more outgoing and Rory helps him with not hiding his real feelings.

Lilia: That duo that need to be separated. They can’t be left unattended or something bad is bound to happen. They share a lot of common interests and Rory loves hearing about his time as a general. 

Vil: Mother hen with an ugly gosling. They first met after Rory had a Mental Breakdown and decided to chop his hair, Vil was not a fan. He fixed his hair himself and they formed an unlikely friendship.

Azul: They did not get along at first, like at all. With the events of Book 3 Rory assumed that he was an egotistical and selfish person but, following Book 4 he started seeing through the charade he puts up. Rory begs to see his merform one day.

She was planned, Ginny was planning on getting pregnant and having a kid. Ginny was extremely diligent about prenatal care and making sure she was keeping herself healthy during the pregnancy. She was so, so excited for this.

Sunshine is Diego's, they can tell because her hair is black at the roots but silver at the ends, kind of like the iconic de Vil black-and-white hair, only her hair is silver instead of white because she has Ginny's magic. Of course, the plan was to raise her with both Anthony and Diego as her dads, and Harriet and Ginny as her mums, the same way Aeden and Faolan were being raised. Diego got so, so, so excited when they found out Sunshine was a girl. He wanted a daughter so much (he loves the boys just as much, of course, he was just thrilled because now they had two boys and a girl.)

Aeden and Faolan were already being pretty good brothers to her. They didn't quite understand the concept of what was going on because they are also babies but they accepted her pretty much instantly. They just know the boys are going to grow up to be such good older brothers.

So far, Sunshine has been a pretty easy baby. She sleeps well, eats well, and she's perfectly healthy, no concerns for any part of her health.

Unfortunately, the malnutrition Ginny has grown up with means she can't feed Sunshine, and there's no formula on the Isle. That's why she needs to send Sunshine away, because it's either that or let her starve. And Ginny is Sunshine's mom, she wants the best life possible for her baby girl. Even if Sunshine having that best life means she has to live a life away from her mother. Besides, the Isle is getting too dangerous to raise a baby on, anyway. Especially when Sunshine is the baby of such a high-profile person, founder and leader of the Silver Cross, former leader of the Forgotten Children Ginny Gothel. And Ginny's "grandmother" is getting kind of weird, Ginny was worried she'd find out about Sunny and react negatively. So Ginny needed to send Sunshine to live with Ginny's birth parents, Sunshine's grandma and grandpa. She'll be safe there, and they'll have the resources to get formula to feed her. It breaks her heart, but she'll do anything for her baby.

And by the way, when Ginny finally gets to visit Sunshine, her baby recognized her immediately. Ginny had been so scared she wouldn't, but the way Sunshine lit up, her joy glowing as brightly as the light she'd been named for, told her that her little girl recognized her mommy. And Ginny definitely didn't cry (she did but Anxelin didn't mention it.)

Seeing the nursery her parents and sister had set up for not only Ginny's baby but for the boys (Jasmine housed Aeden and Faolan with Rapunzel and Eugene because she knows that Harriet and Ginny are together, so Rapunzel and Eugene are basically their grandparents, too,) and she knew she'd made the right choice in sending her baby to live with her family. Sunshine and the boys would be happy there, healthy, safe, cherished as all children deserve to be until they could reunite and be a family again. It was the biggest relief of her life.

And finally, Sunshine's name comes from the fact that she's the biggest, brightest, most beautiful light in her mommy's life. That little girl is loved beyond belief.

Character info:

Perse is a character whose story intertwines with Idia and Ortho; Perse and Idia's family go way back, ever since the first Shroud who got cursed. Basically, a descendent from Perse made a deal with this Shroud family member to help find a way to get their lover back safely from an overblot, and in exchange they swore that each generation of the Achillea family would serve and help each generation of the Shroud family to research about blot and to take care of Tartarus. In short, Perse is Idia's "servant", for lack of a better word. She doesn't like that, Idia doesn't like that, but it's their relationship and Perse is very insistant on the fact that they are not friends — though they both have been harboring feelings for one another ever since they were kids.

Perse has a very strong personality, she's very sassy and is a bit isolated despite what most people think given her appearance; given her position as an Achillea and the path that's already chosen for her, Perse has difficulty letting loose and actually bringing her walls down to have close friendships and relationships with people. However, she gets more comfortable with the students as her years in NRC go by and gets really close to Cater, weirdly enough; Perse is often seen as unapproachable, but she can be really nice and a good friend once you get to know her.

Fun facts: she has been a fan of Vil ever since she was young and he inspired her to take care of her appearance from a young age — and deep down she aspires to be an actress like him; despite that she is easily annoyed with people who tell her she can't be an Ignihyde student and should be a Pomefiore student instead; she's extremely book and street smart and is a closed gamer, Idia joking he's gonna tell the entire school her little secret one day.

They know a lot about each other, but Perse has always been very insistant on keeping her distance from Idia and Ortho, so before book 6 their relationship was very heavily defined by their family's relationship; after book 6 Perse realizes how easy it would be to lose both Idia and Ortho and decided to be finally honest with her feelings. After that book she becomes more friendly with him, flirting too. Idia has no idea how to handle this shift, often saying how it was way easier when she put that wall between them, but he's somewhat grateful for this change because now he can finally get close to her without remorse; they're gaming buddies, have been ever since they were kids but people at school have no idea of Perse's passion for gaming and she intends to keep it this way, which makes things easy for Idia when he wants to ask her for a favor since he can just threaten to tell the entire school — he would never, but she doesn't need to know that.

Ortho Shroud: both real and humanoid Ortho have always viewed Perse as an older sister, often clinging to her for everything and asking her to play games with him. After book 6, when Perse finally lets down her walls, Ortho feels ecstatic to finally be able to get close to her and to not worry about calling her "big sister" since now she admits she also has always viewed him quite fondly. Simultaneously, Perse is extremely pleased to finally be able to get to know Ortho as a person and not as just a robot his brother created.

Vil Schoenheit: ever since she was young she has admired Vil. As a devoted fan she knows how hard he works for his roles and for his appearance, and he inspired her to work hard to help Idia and Ortho as much as she could by studying and understanding more about magic and blot, — since despite saying the contrary she always cared about them — and obviously, to take care of her appearance. Vil didn't realize she was a fan until Rook put her on the spot once, and she had to admit she at first got into the Film Research Club because of him, but grew to love the world of movies and now aspires to be an actress. He was very pleased when he heard that he had such a good influence on someone and now they're somewhat friends.

Cater Diamond: Cater and Perse are kind of alike, both put walls around themselves to keep people away in order to protect themselves, which only ends up harming them; they got to know each other on their first day at NRC, they saw each other a lot on campus and happened to get closer and become friends. Perse and Cater became really close and were one of the first people to open up to the other, because of that they're basically best friends and know every single thing about the other.

He even manipulated Qourra into turning against her fellow people as an exchange for revenge for her mother.

Lá Smaragdus: A jewel-themed super villainess who was once a Latino tv star, until her salary was cut and she was fired from her show. Her powers are turning people into diamond statues and making minions out of rare gems.

Screech: A muscular super villain with the power of brutal strength that can tear apart objects and innocent people.

Platinum Belt: A manipulating spiritual cyborg controlling a superhero named Blue Belt, and is known to manipulate innocent bystanders by taunting them over their issues and fears and their flaws.

Pinball Brat: A teenage super villain based on a pinball machine that traps people in her house size pinball machine and makes them play the game.

Madame Luna: A witch villainess that was a former meteorologist that has powers based on the moon.

The Rose Triplets: Madame Luna’s manipulative minions who are colored in different shades of rose and are good acrobats.

Qourra- A former water bender who goes rogue and tries to blood bend people for revenge on the death of her mother. Only for her to caused an Unwitting Instigator of Doom which led to the arrival of the Silver Spades.

The Silver Spades- A villainous team of dangerous silver-shaded multi-colored villains that blew up Earth and are actually apprentices and allies of the Silver Cops that are after the Solar Opposites once they heard about their arrival on Earth and later Earth-4. The members are Maverick, the silver-green leader who is determined to take down the Mighty Solars, Loo-Loo, the silver-yellow member with the power of dangerous lightning, Bullet, the silver-purple member with strength powers that rivals Mighton’s, Zelda, the silver-red member with the power of lava and Aqua, the silver-blue member with the powers of controlling water.

Carl Rockwell: A dangerous most wanted criminal that is going after the Mighty Solars’ allies.

Dr. Van Gurbin: A scientist that tested on steroids but was kicked out of his college for testing it on innocent people. Now he is gonna use Mighton’s strength for revenge.

Sister Sisto/Black Mirror: A returned foe from the Wall, who has been revived as a super villain of dark magic and mind control.

RUTH: An evil AI assistant who is red and AISHA’s evil counterpart created by Sister Sisto. *Her voice actor is also Eden Espinosa*

Anthony/Sand Beast: A rogue Wallian who develops the power of sand and moon sand, and has the ability to turn into a monster.

Lava Master: He was originally a teenage boy who is Mark’s former crush has gone rogue and became a villain that turns into a lava monster.

HIII!!!!!! Thank you so much for the ask ^^ and for answering mine!! Throwwwwing it under a cut bc I can never talk about Vizzie without talking about Angst so TW for child death/murder <3 also mention of Weed/stoner (not Vizzie)

Who would your OC say is their best friend?

Vizzie:

If she's being honest with herself, she would say it's the childhood best friend Kai, which uh. She. Killed. When they were 8. But in TWST...I think the way she qualifies "best friend" is who makes her happiest to be around. So even though he's more of a little brother figure before a best friend, Ortho is her lil buddy. She adores him. But if we cut out the familial bonding (so Leona is out of the picture too), I think she would consider her best friend Deuce. (They end up being metamours in the future which is even better). But he's relatively quiet when it's just him without Ace, which is nice for her. She likes to help him study, and he lets her speak her notes out loud so the lessons stick with her easier. They both struggle with emotional regulation to varying degrees, and in her canon she's the one who collaborates with Vil to get Deuce and Epel Gremlin Bells for their blastcycles ^^ Aspen:

Sam, lol. They were roommates together (to me, both in Pomefiore). They've been inseparable since their first year. I recently wrote a silly little ficlet where Aspen is involved ^^ Cory:

Epel!! Fellow Short First year struggling with gender identity and orientation while also being scouted by Vil OTL. While Cory considers Epel his best friend, Epel does not see him the same way, mostly because he barely knows the guy! Cory is very awkward and isn't used to interacting with folks, as a firefish mer, he rather enjoys hiding away. So just one or two positive interactions will have this guy believing you're BEST of friends.

His SHAZAM! figurine. 10/10 comfort item, and he can hold it while his (adoptive) papa Vargas is carrying him. Who is also his best friend. Vizzie is a big sister figure so he's chill with her too, but thats about it.

Vizzie:

Rollo. He can't wrap his head around why she would ever forgive magic users, especially when he clocks her vambraces having been put on her by force via a magic user. She can't even hate him back, because she sees so much of her old self in him by the time they meet, she just hopes that one day he can free himself of the hatred he carries, because she knows deep down it's internalized guilt and a coping mechanism.

Aspen:

Crewel hates my stoner half fae dude with a passion. Crewel worked hard for everything he achieved, Aspen is a gifted kid. Crewel tries to be protective and nurturing with his students, but they all choose to go to Aspen instead. Crewel very desperately wants to have buy in with the student body like Aspen does but tries to hide it.

Cory:

It's not that Vil disrespects him, he just feels like Vil pushes his boundaries a little too much for him to be comfortable around Schoenheit. He knows he's cute but gods Vil, he hates the cameras and having attention on him via social media.

Headcanons!

It's canon that they were childhood friends so-

They built Snowman together every time it snowed regardless of how tiny the snowman ended up

Vil helped teach Jack's lil sister how to catch fireflies and she laughed like the baby laugh babies do and it was the cutest thing EVER(totally not based on my experiences)

Jack was Vil's little protector.

Vil did not need protecting.

Eric Venue(Vil's father) was like Jacks second father.

Eric was always there after a long day in the snow with two piping hot cups of cocoa

Nowadays Jack and Vil and a little distant but they've stayed close

They meet up every morning to run together (Canon)

Vil helps Jack with schoolwork whenever he needs it

Vil comes over to Savanaclaw and once he leaves Ruggie is just like "So who's your friend! He was so sweet😊"

Jack was flabbergasted.

Apparently since Ruggie grew up in the slums he's never seen any of Vil's movies.

PART ONE OF A LOT OF PARTS!

Also I’m still new to drawing animals so I know it doesn’t look great but hey I’m proud of it-

This is a really cute AU idea me and @marrondrawsalot came up with- Grims family of Hell cats finds him, and decide to stay at NRC with their long lost family and new human kitten.

Grims mom and her sisters are hell cats that each represent the types of magic in game!

First up is the oldest- his Aunt Sage- based on a sphinx cat she can control water. She and her kittens made a second home in Octanvile. Who doesn’t love free pets and snack? Azul saw a business  opportunity ofc but hey Sage gets a side hustle and free childcare since the tweels love to play with her herd of kittens underwater- she taught them a spell that lets them breathe underwater- basicly their first breath bubble gets big and that lets them swim underwater!

Yuu gets them pool rings, foam noodles and all kinds of toys for the kittens and tweels to play with in the tank

Also if she was human this is what she would look like

She’s the oldest and a widow. She might not be the best at expressing her emotions and feeling but she loves her family deeply and sees her nieces and nephews as if they were her own babies respects miss Yuu/ Yuu for being magicless and surviving in a world of magic.

Next is Grims mama- Ember, she and well… grim are based off Russian blue cats

She and her mate whose name I haven’t come up with yet are very much still in love ( think mufasa and sarabi) both wield fire magic and live their kittens deeply.

Also fun fact Grim is the middle child- he has an older brother, ash, an older sister Spark, him, triplet brother born two years after him, Cider, Koal, and Haco. The triplets want to be good henchmen to their big brothers henchman so grim thinks they’re trying to steal Yuu away

He also has a toddler age baby sister later lovingly named Princess by Vil, and six baby siblings almost a year old, and one baby sibling born shortly after they’re all reunited…

Ember loves and adore miss Yuu- and yes shes big enough to ride- which she happily lets her do. Not that she’d admit it but all of the first years are her babies now- Ace and starts some shit? Boinks him on the head and drags him away by his collar, then does the cat thing where she lays on him as she falls asleep- someone makes fun of epel- she shows them what a full grown he’ll cats fire is like- Ember and her mate love you and can’t thank them enough for caring for their kitten. The least they can do in return is welcome a slightly less fury member into the pact-

Also Idia is a guilty kitten stealer- they all love him and demanded attention from him. Doesn’t usually make it further then the gate before one of the mamas drags him back by his hoodie with all the kittens enjoying the chaos. Idia isn’t complaint, this is dream come true to be picked up by a big cat! To be suffocated under a million little kitties?!?

Idia and Yuu are guilty of poking the kittens lil potbellies since they sleep on their backs and are so cute and the sweetest little faces- the kittens are to deep in sleep to care but it adds an infinate boost to all of Idia’s stats that he needs to do it at least once a day now to function

OH @marrondrawsalot showed me a bit of this a little while ago! It's so cute! I love expanding on the lore of characters like Grim whose background is left to be a mystery and thus you can kind of do whatever you want.

I assume Azul business is to have Mostro Lounge essentially be an aquatic cat cafe. lol Maybe have a kiddy pool somewhere for you to pet the kittens like those tanks at aquariums or something.

I also love the concpet of Grims mom adopting everyone. It makes me think of those stories of mama cats immediately taking kittens that have been abandoned because the instinct is strong so they become a surrogate. Idk if that was your train of thought but that's where my mind goes. I think I also mentioned this to Marrondrawsalot, but the big fire monster cat thing reminds me of Kirara from Inuyasha.
