Meads On Me!

AU inspired by Vikings/northmen, but with dragons, one of my favorite themes. xD

Vygo's name here is Sigmund while Indrys' name is Signý (based on the names of the characters from the Saga of the Völsungs). They are Viking lords. ;)

Sigmund is celebrating something here, what could it be?

Rivalry

Aahhh men and their desire to prove themselves superior to other men, they always have to fight. xD Too much testosterone in a small space haha!

Meanwhile their women are just talking to each other and sharing a drink like civilised beings. xD

But a good celebration party is not complete without some brawl haha. Sverrir (Viking Dew, black hair) has a rivalry with Sigmund (Viking Vygo, red hair) because Sigmund raised his son and now the boy likes him more hahaha.

How did Indrys get her big face scar?

Depends on the AU! The scar is present only in some AUs (I'm not sure if it's going to be in the canon yet, still deciding).

In the Viking AU, it was caused by a flying splinter from a broken shield, when she was defending Vygo. There's a sketch sequence showing that on SubscribeStar and Patreon.

In the Selkie AU, happened when she was still young and had never seen a fishing boat or fishermen before, and ended up getting tangled on the net and injured by a hook.

aaahh i'm so happy to hear the wyvern designs are still in use in an au! viking au is a perfect choice... wyverns and noodles are best dragons hehe 🤝🏻

I really love their wyvern designs, the heads and Vygo's scalebeard are too good to be abandoned! And now they're badass Viking wyverns!
