Me and my friend have been watching bbc ghosts so I decided to make an oc for it lol

I’m still working out his design and story but here’s what I have for him so far:

- He’s American and he moved to England for more medical schooling

- Big fan of Robert Liston

- Died in the late 1800s bc of tuberculosis (don’t ask me how he got to the house I’m still working on that…)

That’s about it for now, hopefully I’ll post him again with more info

As it is Halloween today I ended up thinking of Victorian fancy dress parties (costume parties) so I drew my 2 Victorian girl ocs, Irene and Ruth, dressed in they’re costumes. Irene is actually rather merry in this picture usually she’s kind of scary.

This is what they usually look like btw I just wanted to show for comparison..

Also this is completely unrelated to anything but I just wanted to talk about this, I got BANNED and unbanned on YouTube the other day for like “scamming and fraudulent behavior” or something idk which isn’t even true I don’t scam people on YouTube guys.. basically I just woke up and checked YouTube and I was logged out for some reason so I tried to log in and it said my channel was “removed” so I was really confused and they literally banned me I didn’t even get any warnings or nothing so I sent them an appeal because I have like 300 videos and I need to watch my old animation memes as my life support. I kind of freaked out a bit but it was actually kinda anticlimactic cuz they unbanned me at like 8 pm so it was fine. It’s still weird though I keep thinking about it, I kinda hope it was just some kind of bot mass reporting ordeal that’s going on on YouTube because if I have actual opps on YouTube that are trying to take me out by false reporting me that’s INSANE 😭.

Also if anyone cares I was Charles ii of England for Halloween this year

A curious patron at the grand reopening of Palais de L'Opera after the mysterious disaster regarding the Opera Ghost, delves down into the lowest basements of the opera house to investigate, carrying a death's head lantern to scare away any ghosts, wearing a wide brim hat to guard against his magic lasso.

A Midnight Dance

first version and notes under the cut!

So a little while ago, this concept came to me - of an 80s/early 90s goth girl who'd fall in love with a Victorian ghost she's accidentally summoned (or maybe she's the only one who can see her.) At first, I wanted to try a different style, lighter and more cartoon-y I suppose, which began to look like this:

But as I was struggling to render it, I realized it wasn't working and I didn't like the result at all - so I completely changed the whole sketch and vibe, and switched back to my usual style - which was for the best I think! 👻👩🏾‍❤️‍💋‍👩🏼
