If I had a nickel for every time I found a piece of media in the 2020s with breathtaking imagery and inspiring storytelling for writers everywhere, but ended with such a DREADFUL CLIFFHANGER that pushes my buttons in the right ways…

I’d have two nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it happened twice, right?

#spiderman across the spiderverse #arcane #I love these as much as anyone #But I have to admit I can kind of see where Arcane’s story goes from here #Jayce and Viktor are the only survivors of Jinx’s attack #And their new ideals will escalate into a bitter rivalry #Sevika will take over Silco’s business #Jinx will be out for blood on everyone #Caitlyn will become a main character and come to her own as a righteous general #Ekko and Heimerdinger will be allies #Vi will have a character arc about her goals being shattered and the life she had being over #Vi and Caitlyn will have drama #Vi and Caitlyn will make up #Vi and Caitlyn will bone #Vi will call her sister Jinx and avenge her sister in this new war #Vi and Jinx will be enemies #The end #I hope I’m wrong tho #But with Spiderverse?#I have NO IDEA where any of this is going #How is Miles gonna escape 42?#Is Miles gonna end up being wrong?#Is he gonna fail?#I don’t know. For a PG movie #That’s fantastic #Both of these are fantastic either way
