Verna Marie Harvey, age 82 of Malaga, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, in her home with her family by her side.

Verna was born in Meadville, PA on July 28, 1940, to William LaVerne & Melissa (nee Camp) Morse. She married Ralph V. Harvey of Daretown, NJ on March 9, 1963, following graduation from Bob Jones University. Ralph and Verna departed for a missions career in Austria in July of 1964. They retired in 2003 and took residence in Malaga. Verna was very gifted and had many hobbies, including painting, water colors, photography, needle-point, stamping, and sewing. Her great cooking was known all over Austria as she cooked for the Austrian Bible Institute, camps, conferences, and other occasions.

Ralph and Verna have three children, Ralph Jr. of Harrisburg, PA; Richard & his wife, Martina of Laakirchen, Austria; and Becky Pallmann & her husband, David of Frisco, TX. They have seven grandchildren and are expecting their first great-grandchild any day now. Verna was predeceased by her one brother, William L. Morse Jr., who passed in 2017. A private graveside service was held in the Salem Baptist Cemetery in Salem, NJ.
