You mentioned that Klyntar do still bond with others. Does it work the same and they share a body and all that or is it more of a spiritual thing? What’s the purpose of doing so if they can survive on their own?

To explain that, let me tell you the story of the First Godly Codex

Long ago, two titans came together, Rhea the mother of Klyntar and Chronos the Titan of time... And with their union, they formed the Godly Codex... And the first Godly codex was created, from a bond so strong ... And with that Extensions gods were formed, Hades, Zeus, Poseidon, Demeter, Hera and Hestia

With that they grew in Olympus together until the prophecy came to Chronos in a dream. He was to be murdered by his own Extension God. He knew not of who it was but began to devour the weak amongst them with Zeus being the only one that survived.

Zeus after years of training, returns to free his Extension God Siblings as they fight together and trap Chronos in the depths of Tartarus with the help of Rhea's Codex sacrifice.

To explain how a Godly codex is formed it needs to be a union with a Klyntar God. human gods can't make it with each other but they can make it with a Klyntar God. A Klyntar God possesses power that can harness a successful bond creating a Godly Codex

A Godly Codex can be formed in three forms of a bond

A Contract bond, states that there is a partnership and understanding made between the two parties. It must be a strong partnership with equal sides being active players in it. Poseidon and Amphitrite are a good example

A Control bond, states that the equal parties seek to have power and grow it in their own realm and is usually out of selfishness and vanity of the two parties. You need to make a lot of bonds to achieve a Godly Codex and they don't need to be legitimate or recognized by the two parties. Zeus and Hera are a good example

A Consent bond, states that two parties must be emotionally in agreement with one another and that their bond transcends deeper into a working and functional dynamic. They must both be consenting to each other, and the stronger the emotional tie the stronger the Godly Codex. Hades and Persephone are a good example.
