#younger me was so right to not like or try MMOs and live service games I'm so tired#le whiny text post#Veilguard came at the best time I was experiencing Genshin burnout so bad in every way#the only issue is I'm so far along in the game I feel deeply compelled to complete it IF it ever fucking ends#and I'm so fed up with story decisions that are just Nomura levels of cringe shit writing#then I go back to a game like DA where complexity and nuance is actually the norm and I feel my brain cells returning from their grave#also deeply fed up with its fucking waifu marketing with that fugly ass male protagonist. like yeah DA def defaulted to male but at least#there's mixing it up 🙄 the level of Ick with him always there#the way the game frames every female character fawning over him and his fugly ass design#meanwhile their gorgeously designed female protagonist is shelved into the antagonist 🙄🙄#got those insufferable Girlboss Feminists who think a woman lacking in complexity but is Just Strong is perfectly adequate 🙄
