Regina: [heavy sigh] I wonder if you can still tan in this season. Varvara: [disinterestedly watching the pool]

Veronica: [signing] Good job, Varvara! I could tell that bothered you, but I’m glad you were able to do it. Varvara: [signing] Thank you! But wait, you know sign language? Veronica: [signing] I do! Sorry I didn’t try earlier. I must’ve been embarrassed. Before getting into acting, I thought I wanted to teach, with a focus in special education. I took several sign language classes, and I get chances to use it when I have meet and greets with my fans.

Veronica: [signing] Varvara, what do you remember from last night? Varavara: [signing] Regina wanted to learn more words in sign language, so I taught her. After a while, I was getting tired, so I went to bed. Regina went to go freshen up as I got into bed.

Varvara: [on her phone] I had a conversation last night with Regina through text. Beth and Marnie were also there. Here’s a look at the messages we exchanged, in case you need it. We both went to bed after we were done talking. Veronica: [nodding to show she understands]
