I do have a Werewolf AU I had began to play out with a friend. That McCullum ended up bein bitten by a Lycan durin an off balanced hunt, instead of turned into a Nemrod by his own ill doin, or by Reid in the end.

I have yet to list this in the verses because I haven't really got to play too much on it. Flesh it out better. If interested though, don't hesitate to private message me and we can discuss it.

So, the waif-like Puck was true to the part she played. No wonder he felt so drawn to her. It wasn't the smell of her fear that pulled him; he was a modern man acquainted with fundamental scientific principles. It was her biological makeup that produced the intoxicating… aura, one might say. In her very being, she held the one thing that could heal him. And he craved it. But he wouldn't seek it—not here, not now. Lord Ren glanced about the theatre hall, the glimmering pairs of gentlemen and women standing in clusters beneath decadent nouveau sconces; he was surrounded. Ren was going to have to take his time. And that was just as well since time was all he had.

In the flurry of terse, disagreeable moments that transpired between them, a cast member swooped in on the conversation, looping a puffy arm through Puck's and declaring, in a voice that assaulted Ren's senses, that they'd be off to the dive any minute. The woman surveyed him with an alarming, gluttonous stare and ambled off. Because he didn't feel like one, he often forgot that he looked just like a person. He was only a few shades shy of a living man.

"You drink with these people? Unusual. Well."

Lord Ren withdrew—he had to—until, at last, he could drop his hand from his mouth. His mien was begrudging; his gaze hovered over her accusingly. If she wanted to confirm her suspicions, she would have to open the wolf's maw herself.

"The pleasure is mine," he said. "I suppose I should leave you to it."

Yes, he could hear her racing heart like he heard the drubbing rhythm of all hearts. The young actress's fear was evident, but of course, he couldn't read her. She was impenetrable, and yet she looked at him as though she were no more than a mouse and he a snake. He couldn't help what he was; Ren had tried to prevent it, tried to fight it, gotten the bleeds, and eventually, he had become it. Surrendering to nature was easier, as she would soon find out.

"I'll see you at dawn when you arrive," he said without smiling. With barely a breath or a heartbeat of his own but with the color of ardor in his eyes, because he had placed her, because he knew. She was not the debutante; she was the farmer. The new girl Agatha had hired to tend the lady slippers in the glasshouse. He'd seen to the care of his mother's exotic plants well over a decade after her passing; a capable gardener was hard to come by and harder to keep.

"Tomorrow then." Not a threat but a simple declaration. He would have Stuart bring her to him the moment she got to the grounds. It made no difference to him whether she came willingly. After giving the new girl a reproachful look, he turned and marched out.
