Day 6.

The pilgrim set out then from our blessed church, riding atop the saint's swine with the holy relic in tow, bound for the glorious Holy See at the top of the world. Though the road ahead be fraught with perils and woeful, the gods watch the way unceasing. May our pilgrim arrive at the threshold of matter unchanged in form or purpose, and may the Holy Hand reach its appointed place in time.

Day 5.

The pilgrim was called Godswille, and upon issuing from the cloister had been given custody of the Grandfather's Paw.  This device of holy cleansing was formed after the hand of Our Lord Who Screams, and for the pilgrimage ahead an auspicious omen.  Let the talons of the Grandfather Beast cleave all abomination and disorder from the path of the pilgrim, that the hand of St Thorough be delivered untested.

Day 4.

And so a member was elected from among the peregrine orders, and given a sign that they should take up the path. In times bygone, these orders were trained to walk unceasing upon the road with few concerns of interference. Now in the land dwell those who have stolen the practice and methods of the first angels, and so the pilgrims have found need of bloodier disciplines.

Day 3.

...and keep you here a swine, fatted it must be upon my material remains that it shall not die, and will be strong to carry the appointed emissary who will bear my relic north."

And so the hand was kept and the swine was made to feed upon the body of St. Thorough, who slept then the bodiless sleep of the gods and ascended. The swine grew strong, and did not die though its age was great.

Day 2.

In our keeping was the blessed hand of St. Thorough, and by its holy power are all manner of seals maintained.  The inextirpable edict of the saint came to us thus:

"Keep you now my hand upon the altar, until which time it is called from here to the vaults of Black Heaven...

Day 1.

At that time the augur showed as a storm of holy light. Celestial alignments called for the presence of our sacred relic at the edge of the world, where the primacy of matter and form relents its grasp and there rises the blessed void - the dwelling place of our Lords. Though their designs are obscure, the call was clear. A pilgrimage needs be made.

Here we go! The choices will start day 4, for now we're just setting the stage."
