Personally I think it was when he tried to shoot Vader on Bespin.

Like imagine grabbing your blaster like the quick draw you are, and shooting before the guy should be able to react. You aimed it right at him and pulled the trigger at least five times.

But every shot missed?? It shouldn’t be possible, you know your luck, your blaster, and your abilities. Those lasers should have landed, but something made them stray off course.

You also have a death grip on that blaster. Why wouldn’t you? You know this man is one of the most dangerous enemies in the galaxy. And yet something ripped that weapon out of your hand.

Vader catches your blaster and you realize he did that. It’s gotta be the Force Obi Wan and Luke swore by, there’s no other explanation.

I don’t know that Han really got to process the idea that the force is real until later, what with getting tortured in Imperial custody and frozen. But I think he knew since he felt and saw his blaster get taken right out of his hand.

anyway sound off. at what stage do ppl think Han figured out the Force was real. the boring answer is after seeing Obi-wan vanish but i think he could rationalise that away as his eyes playing tricks on him. what do we think.
