every once in a while a regular ass song with regular human vocals gets enough vocal synth covers to be added to vocadb, and it really puts into perspective just how differently producers are talked about in the vocaloid scene vs 99% of other music. imagine if every song was listed on spotify and shit like this

sometimes i wish there was a more convenient way to search tracks on vocadb by filtering 2 or more vocalsynths at once. what if i wanna search duets between [Synth 1] AND [Synth 2]?? i can only do [Synth 1] OR [Synth 2] at a time :(

VocaDB has the tag "Len dies" lmao

There’s a tag on Vocadb where they list songs by human singers that have a lot of vocalsynth covers. However, they still keep these in the style of Vocaloid songs, where it says composer feat. singer, which leads to hilarious examples, like this.

Hey does anyone know for how long vocadb will be down? I think it’s down for maintenance (or at least that’s what the website I’m using says) but I’m just curious as to how long it’ll be?

I bit late but vocadb.net came up with 3 Hebrew-language UTAUs: Hana Chikako, SIO, and Meipoid.

(if you don't know how to use UTAU unfortunately I can't really help you cause I don't know either 😎)

(if you do decide to try it then I recommend using OpenUTAU because regular UTAU hasn't been updated in decades, and, in my experience, tends to break if the program or your computer aren't set to Japanese 😭)

Of course, the lack of official support hasn't stopped people from making Miku and other Vocaloids sing in Hebrew or in Yiddish.

Do Jewish vocaloids exist....chat...chat...I gotta learn how to tune...I gotta...It'd be so hard HELP...

Almost two decades ago. It's still so catchy and fun and just an amazing Miku song, It came out when Miku was barely over a week old. This is probably wishful thinking, but I like to think it help set the tone for everything that was to come. Just an overall vibe of sincerity and fun. This is like, a sacred text to me truly, I teared up listening the first time eheh

(To be clear, the song came out sep 9th 2007. The animated music video came much later, which itself is incredibly charming and fun and campy in the best way. Just oozing pure love for Miku and the song.)
