As far as the world was concerned, Lara Dorren was dead--or at least that was the story she had wanted to be told long ago. It was better this way.

With all she had done-- leaving behind all she had known, falling in love with a human, and setting a target on him, it was best if the world believed she had died. It was also best for Riannon so she could live a full life, one away from constantly looking behind your shoulder or having ties to a destiny to fulfill. But of course, things didn't go as planned...when did it ever when it concerned her?

She couldn't return home, and Lara had no where else to go, but there was only one person she could think of--one person still alive that she could turn to. "Crevan..." she wasn't sure how to tell him, but it was what she owed him. "I know you're surprised to see me. You probably think I'm a figment of your imagination, but...I can tell you I am real and I am...alive."

Wanting to confirm his suspicions, Lara reached out towards him, hesitating at first, but then reaching gently for his hand.

Malcolm Bright (;Brightish;): FC Tom Payne,Canon plot-Malcolm is the son of famous serial killer known as the surgeon and works as a special consultant with NYPD. Due to his history Malcolm suffers from severe PTSD and commonly experiences tremors. He also some sociopathic tendancies. 

(;LikeSurgeon;) In this verse Malcolm takes after his father, inheriting the traits that canon Malcolm feared having. The surgeon was never turned in and Malcolm learned the tools of his trade.  

Martin Whitly (;surgeon;): The father to Malcolm Bright, A serial killer known as the Surgeon, who is currently locked up in the Claremont psychiatric hospital. (or other plotting him can put him after he succeeds in escaping (or prior to being brought in.)

Doctor Who:

Victorian-Clara Oswald (;Victorian;): FC Jenna Coleman, Clara is barmaid in Victorian london, who also double as a governess when she meets the Doctor. In this AU she doesn’t fall and travels with the Doctor. Other AU’s can include her having adventures with Vastra’s gang, modern day AU’s, or anything we want to plot.

Jack Harkness (;harkness;): FC John Barrowman, Jack is still doing jack, aka always looking for the doctor and/or adventures but this jack takes place after losing Ianto.

-Alternative verse (;mirror harkness;) Is set in universe where Jack was a companion to a darker doctor. While he retains much of his personality, he is a bit darker. (Plotting can weed out specifics!)

Mr. Clever (;cyberplanner;): Clever managed to beat the Doctor at chess, and managed to take over completely. Or so he thought. While he did take over control of the body, the Doctor is always there as an extra (annoying) consciousness. He does have the TARDIS, but half the time she doesn’t behave for him.

Amy Pond (;thelegs;): The other half of Amy and Rory! In canon after being sent back she lived her life with life with Rory. Outside of canon? She can be placed anywhere and in anytime. Probably would be pre-angels. 

Fob!watched Missy (;Disguisedsleuth;): FC Lara Jean Chorostecki, After being shot by simm!master, She still managed to regenerate and hid her self, becoming tattle-crime writer Freddie Lounds. Even after opening the watch she still tries to be good, hoping the Doctor finds her. Or she can horribly fail and revert to her old ways.

Tenth Doctor (;allons-y;): The main timeline is post end of time where he is fighting of regeneration. But very much not set in stone!

Hannibal:

Freddie Lounds (;crimesleuth;): Freddie Lounds is journalist for tattle-crime, not afraid to push boundaries when she wants something. Most come to believe its for a sense of Justice. But Freddie has a dark secret, too. (AUish) 

Hannibal Lecter (;ripper;): Hannibal Lecter, also known as the chesapeake ripper is a therapist who also doubles as a cannibal?? Plot wise he can be anywhere but will primarily placing for surviving the fall if not specified. 

Will Graham (;Graham;): In canon (formerly) works as a special consultant for the FBI. Primarily putting him in season 2-3. Can also be post surviving fall.

Baldurs gate 3:

Karlach {;Infernal Engine;): Karlach is tiefling set in the world of baldurs gate 3. She is red skinned and has two horns, however one of her horns is broke off. Her heart? Yeah its engine thats only getting hotter. She served for ten years in avernus, unwillingly a champion to Zariel. Until she escaped, but is she ever really free?

Lara Dorren’s Verses Moodboard: Lara Survives (AU)

Lara and Cregennan were hunted down by humans for their relationship. Cregennan died protecting her in order to give her time to escape. Lara managed to survive, but started going into labor soon after. With no other choices in where to go and in shock from all that had just happened, Lara looks for help from her good friend, Queen Cerro. After Lara manages to safely give birth to a healthy daughter and names her Riannon, she makes the hardest decision of her life, having Cerro adopt Riannon so she could live a normal human life and not be hunted down. 

Although the world thinks Lara Dorren died, she is in fact, very much alive. Now on her own in the world, Lara goes into hiding, hearing the tales of her fate from both humans and elves. However, after everything she’s been through, she’s determined to take the reins of fate and destiny and write herself a better story.

Details/Headcanons:

1. This verse is pretty flexible on how things can go down depending on what we choose to roleplay with it. The most important thing of it though is the fact Lara is alive and didn’t die. 

2. No matter what, Lara will keep an eye on her descendants, either secretly watching them or being a part of their lives in some way. She cares for whoever carries her blood because they are family to her. 

3. Since I will be roleplaying with this verse the most on this blog for obvious reasons, I have more headcanons on it in my HEADCANONS TAG.

Alright, time for a series of posts about Runeterra Licensed AUs, with ratings of course, in case people want to do a Into The Spider-Verse style fic.

First of, to explain, we have 4 kinds of AUs here:

RUNETERRA AUs: Those are Actual alt timelines that could be happening in Runeterra proper had things been a smidge different (Example, the AU where Pilltover and Zaun were never divided and it was but one city)

PAST AUs: Those are AUs that happened in the main continuity and are now not a thing anymore (Example, the Ruined Skins of Champions from when they were under the Ruined King control during the Ruined King Event)

IMPOSSIBLE AUs: Completely removed from the main continuity AUs, usually set in their own universe (Example, the Star Guardian skinline where Jinx is a Magical Girl in high school).

IRL AUs: AUs set in modern day earth, usually without any fantasy or sci-fi elements (Example, the KDA skins where a couple champions are in a K-Pop group).

We start with Caitlyn Licensed AUs.

Resistance Leader Caitlyn. Runeterra AU. This is an AU where SPOILERS FOR ARCANE S2 Viktor snapped and managed to convert the rest of Runeterra to machinery under his own iron fist. The few still Human members of the resistence try to survive in the now blighted world of industry and cogs, and Caitlyn is their leader, always blaming herself for not having stopped Viktor while she could.

We do not have a Vi Skin in this event, but it might be implied that she didn't survive the Glorious Revolution, hence Caitlyn blaming herself.

4/5 for the angst and her being Atlas with the world on her shoulders.

Impossible AU. Western AU Caitlyn with her being the new Sherif in Town. Pretty self explanatory. Vi lacks a corrective skin here too, but we can work it as a outlaw/Sherif enemies to Friends to Lovers scenario that can lead to either one dying or one leaving their life for the other's.

Impossible AU. Lara Croft Caitlyn. If you want this to work, you need to play her as OG Lara Croft as in a British aristocratic psychopath who plunders historical artifacts for fun and profits because she is bored and has nothing better to do. This is a complete 180 with Caitlyn's main personality of course but hey, it's in character for the character she's cosplaying as. No Vi Skin but you could recreate that old Ship from years ago and do a Wonder Woman Vi X Lara Croft Caitlyn here.

5/5 in aesthetic and girlboss attitude otherwise 2/5.

Half Impossible Half IRL AU: Soviet Sniper Caitlyn. This one does have a Vi Skin believe it or not with Vi as a black ops operative on the opposing side.

Send Help: Addicted to Roleplay and Chipotle

Greetings from Earth! First time poster to this blog and stoked to meet some new partners. My name is Chris and I'm a male nurse (Yo, you're going to get some medically accurate roleplay) in his late twenties. I have a lovely wife and two stupidly handsome animals (Pictures of the animals available on request) but manage to maintain a pretty active roleplay life due to the fact that I work nights. The Basics: I tell everyone that I'm a professional. I try to reply 1-3 times a week and the length of posts depends on amount of characters in play. If I'm going to take longer, I always try to let you know. I'm willing to write male and female characters and focus on M/F as the male and F/F. M/M just isn't my thing, sorry y'all. My limits include pedophilia, rape, and animal abuse. Anything else can be discussed. I prefer e-mail for writing (Chrisx104@gmail.com) but have Discord for plotting (NurseBatman#3674). If we get along really well, you can convince me into discord roleplay. The text limit just drives me nuts. I do use faceclaims pretty aggressively. Is there anything else? Central time zone?

Onto the roleplay stuff. I'll start with originals and then dive into fandoms. I put extra *s by the lines that I will literally lose my mind if you approach me about. Searching hard! -The Social Media Age****** A m/f line that I've given a little thought to, looking for someone to write a young woman that is pretty much making her living being an instagram model/fitness person, etc. I think the proper term is *Influencer*. Meets and starts dating a successful guy with no presence online, the two falling for each other but at odds over their differing attitudes towards the world. -This American Life Something set in the 1970s, focusing on a roadtrip. A group of teenagers leave their small town behind to head out west. I love this time period. Can be supernatural, supernatural lite (think Twin Peaks weirdness) or totally natural. -Stranger Things inspired A group of four to six friends enjoy their last summer together in a remote town as strangeness begins to unfurl. I'd be willing to set this in the present but think it would be way more fun in the 70s or 80s. I have an idea for one of the kids having lost a sibling in a strange way when they were young and possibly some sort of cult in town.

I know Reylo is all the rage these days, as is Qi'Ra/Han. But, man ALIVE, I really want something focusing on the core four: Luke, Leia, Han, and, ya boy, Chewie. Something taking place in that three year gap between New Hope and Empire as they work among the rebellion. Strange new worlds, getting into scrapes, sharply running from the empire, avoiding Vader, bounty hunters, and all sorts of things. This time period is far from explored and we can really thrive in the galaxy. Primarily I want to focus on the budding relationship between Han and Leia and Luke's training, pre-Yoda. In a perfect world, I'd want to write Han and Chewie (If anyone thinks Chewie is just a NPC, get out my face) while my partner takes on Leia and Luke. I'd be willing to switch out Chewie for Luke if need be, I guess? We could also split up C3PO and R2. I also would enjoy writing a young Amilyn Holdo and a few other soldiers. Let's real build out the resistance and delve into the 'WARS' part of those big yellow letters that never get enough attention. On top of all of that, I also have an original love interest in mind for Luke if someone else plays him! She's a spitfire. Alternatively, I'd be down for writing something set in the clone wars. Perhaps two jedi that broke the order's relationship laws and then survived Order 66 together? -Preacher Seriously. Love this show, love this comic. Would happily write Jesse or Cassidy against Tulip. Just definitely looking for a Tulip -The Boys Would love to write Hughie against Starlight! Currently working my way through the season that just dropped. -Marvel -I will love you forever if you write an Elektra against my Daredevil. They are toxic and in love and I love it. Whether it be the comics or the Netflix series, I don't care. Someone please write me an Elektra. Netflix did a good job of portraying this one -Alternatively, I'd also be happy to write against a Black Widow, either with Daredevil. They were a mainstay OTP in the comics in the 90s and I'd love to write against Scarlet's Black Widow. -Has anyone seen the trailer for the neverendingly delayed New Mutants movie? I would love to write something based on that horror aspect of the mutant universe.* -I'd love to write an older MCU Peter Parker (like college) running across a MCU version of Black Cat. Or just a Spiderman roleplay in general. I've always wanted to write Peter but have never gotten the chance! I have a ton of ideas for this, plus faceclaims for a few of the villains. Would also be willing to play him against Zendaya's MJ, Spidergwen, or Silk (Deepcut)**************************** (I so badly want to write Peter) -One of the pairings that was done for a time in the comics was Star Lord against Kitty Pryde and it was actually a lot of fun. If anyone would want to do a MCU version of this, I would so *DOWN* to play Quill, Xmen hijinks a plenty in space -If you write Jessica Jones, I'd be willing to write almost anyone against her (NOT KILGRAVE). Just let me know. I'd be super down to write Luke Cage or maybe Matt Murdock. I do a mean John Constantine, which, let's face it, is a cross company illustration of the two most terrible people together -Hawkguys! I would love to either write Clint against Kate Bishop (This would be a slightly skewed MCU vibe) or Kate against America Chavez. I would really love to do either of these lines. Or a poly version if someone is willing! -I'd love to write Logan as an active member of the MCU Avengers, possibly as a partner in crime/wetworks/murder with Black Widow. Those two could cause some mayhem. -Honestly, any X-men relationship could be sold to me. Just try it. I would love to find a Kitty for Piotr, a Rogue for Remy, or almost anyone for Kurt.

-DC I'd love to write Batman against Catwoman, please. Or John Constantine against literally almost anyone -Hannibal I've been dying to do a sort of season 4 for a while now, focused on Clarice Starlings interaction with Will Graham and later Hannibal Lecter. Just need to find someone willing to create an original style Clarice. -Resident Evil I'd like to write Leon against Claire Redfield or Jill Valentine in an original outbreak or a new one. I know this is an old school fandom but I'm a diehard fan. -Star Trek Okay, so first up, I am not the most well versed Trekkie in the world. Never watched any of the TV shows but am a massive fan of the trio of rebooted films and would love to give Kirk or Bones a try against Uhura, Dr. Eve, or maybe a female Vulcan OC? Hit me with ideas! -The Matrix Another obscure fandom. Maybe just an original crew, set during the movies, after, or an AU where they're the only survivors of Zion? Im not sure but I could plot something out!

-Uncharted I'd love to write Chloe Frazier against Nadine Ross, continuing their adventures. I'm pretty wide open on what we can do with this one. RANDOM CRACK SHIPS! Caught in a Web: I would love to write an iteration (Daniel Craig or an original) of James Bond/007 against a non superhero version of Natasha Romanoff/Black Widow. Spy vs spy shenanigans as two people working for different governments. Totally impossibly but putting it just in case: Did anyone see all that Wonder Woman/Lara Croft art that was floating around the internet earlier this year? I would love to dive into that. I'd prefer to write Lara but I'm definitely not picky. If you made it this far, you're a hero and I owe you a beer. Hope to hear from some great writers! Let's create something *EPIC*

Ghost/Bones AUs:

All of the AUs? 

At the moment, the AU I am working on the most is a Mass Effect AU, so naturally this is my current favourite. Here, we have Lara as a disgraced N7 operative with a lot of baggage, forced to stay behind on the Citadel and teach at the Academy whilst the rest of her unit runs and guns amongst the stars. Grounded and bored she meets a mercenary Simon Riley, who is a soldier of fortune with some dodgy ties to the Alliance himself. They meet in Chora’s Den and end up launching into an unlikely friendship which unsurprisingly becomes so much more. 

Next up, is the werewolf verse that me and @smashinterrupted have been working on. There’s a lot of lore there that I can’t go into here, but basically imagine a world where werewolves are basically humans who can shapeshift into wolves, live in packs and are connected by deep psychological bonds. Lara is a human who is turned by a pack who proceed to rip the rest of her human friends apart. She escapes, but is lost in a world where she has lost her own humanity. She ends up stumbling upon a feral ( a wolf without a pack) Riley who despite his better judgement ends up taking her in and becoming her stand in alpha. Although they are outcasts, the pair get dragged into bigger wolf politics and end up assimilating into a much larger pack in order to survive. 

And then we have the Vikings AU for these two. Lara is a shieldmaiden, devoted to the Gods and desperate to win the favour of her patron goddess Freyja. She fights for her Jarl, but ends up being overwhelmed and expects to die at the hands of Riley, a mercenary fighting for the opposing Jarl who no longer believes in the Gods. Finding her faith disturbing he refuses to kill her and allow her the glory of Valhalla or Sessrumnir. In the end, they become reluctant allies and later friends/lovers. 

There’s so many more but this post is already becoming far too long :P 

Bones/Soap/Ghost:

Here is where I contradict myself. 

Ok, so I don’t ordinarily ship Soap and Ghost anymore, but I do have a secret love for all things polyamory and ships with more than two people and for me, this one could really work. For Lara, I can definitely see her being capable of loving both men at the same time but just as much. I mean to a point in CITS, she already is at this point. She loves them for very different reasons, but shares an incredibly strong bond with both men.

As for the boys, in my headcanon at least, they have got a lot of love for each other as best friends. Riley sticks his neck out for MacTavish when he knows how much stress his mate is under and Soap watches out for Riley and is one of the few men he can genuinely talk together. If there was a world where they could come together and somehow be at peace with loving the same woman, and somehow loving each other just as much, then that could be a really awesome three way relationship, with a lot of love on all sides.

The thing I wanted to do for Day 1 that I ended up not having time for because of moving was an au where Kara was still sent to earth and raised by the Danvers, but Krypton never died (a civil war or invasion or something similar made her parents decide to send her away). Kara and Alex return to Krypton as adults (either they received a signal that the disaster was over, or adult Kara wanted to go back and help), [1/2]

and that’s when Astra and Alex meet (Astra may have spent time in the phantom zone in this universe as well, I never worked out the details). So, um, if you’re inspired? [2/2]

Kara looks like she’s about to cry when a response comes through the radio, giving her the okay to dock their ship on one of Krypton’s stations, and it’s hard to tell if it’s because she’s back on her home planet, or because she’s (hopefully) about to meet her family again.

When Alex looks at the planet, all she sees is the ruins of a raging war.

Kara’d told her about that, about why her mother sent her to Earth, about how Krypton and Daxam had always disagreed on what was an acceptable way of living, but how they’d kept a terse peace despite it.

That had all changed when a certain General - who happened to be Kara’s aunt - had gotten fed up with their keeping of slaves and led a rogue mission to rescue a great many of them. It had been viewed as an act of war on Krypton’s behalf, and Daxam had been merciless when they struck back, as evident by the crumbled buildings and the craters scattered across the planet.

The General had been sentenced a decade in Krypton’s maximum security prison for the reckless actions that had started this war, stripped of her rank.

By the lack of current action, Alex thinks Kara had been right in her initial assumption in that the war was over now. A call to her spy beacon for her to be able to return safely, not a distress call as Alex had feared.

The moment they land Kara practically jumps out of the spacecraft, and Alex can see two near identical-looking women waiting for her. The main difference between the two is the color of their robes: a rich blue one with golden accents on the one Kara embraces with a force that should have knocked the wind out of her, who Alex guesses to be her mother Alura, and a black one with silver accents on the one standing on the side, fidgeting impatiently, who must be her aunt Astra.

That, and the matching silver accent in her hair.

Alex remains at a small when she exits the ship herself, crossing her arms and leaving a few feet between herself and where Kara detaches herself from her mother - both of them in tears - to connect her beacon to Astra’s.

Upon closer inspection Astra appears somewhat younger than Alura, though her eyes speak of the same if not more experience. Alex makes a mental note to ask about that later if she gets the chance.

Kara is beaming a tearful smile at Astra and crushes her in a similar hug, one that is graciously accepted, and she cradles her in a way that she must have done when Kara was smaller. Astra doesn’t look much better when it comes to tears, although she appears to keep them at bay.

They stand like that for as long as Kara and Alura had, which must have been a solid minute, before Astra speaks.

Kara agrees before she pulls away. Alex can see how reluctant Astra is to let her go, but she does.

Alura looks in Alex’s direction, then at the empty ship, back to Alex, and finally back to Kara. She sounds concerned.

Kara reassures.

The relief is instantaneous and palpable, but the corners of Alura’s mouth tip down ever so slightly despite it, and it’s clear the answer is a disappointing one.

Alex shifts her gaze to look at Astra, see how she’s taking the news, and is startled to find the woman is staring at her intently. Her gaze holds an intimidating fierceness that makes Alex straighten her stance, challenged rather than intimidated.

Astra asks, not removing her gaze from Alex, and Kara turns her head to look at her before remembering herself.

she tells them, before turning to Alex and switching languages effortlessly, “Alex, this is my mother Alura, and my aunt Astra.” Kara gestures to each respectively as she says this, and Alex gives them each a respectful nod.

Alura frowns.

Kara shakes her head,

Rough landing was an understatement: the military had thought the ship was a threat and hadn’t hesitated to fire a missile at it, which created a big gaping hole in their ship. Kara happened to be standing too close to it and fell out, her Kryptonian physiology the only thing that made her survive the fall.

Lara and Jor-El thought she’d died, and by the time they’d found the Kryptonian family Kara had already grown attached to the Danvers family.

Astra interrupts, her eyes still locked onto Alex.

Astra’s intense gaze softens a little at that, her lips quirking up slightly. “You’re a soldier?”

The English syllables falling from her lips take Alex by surprise, but the surprise passes quickly when she remembered it had taken Kara all of a single day to learn the basics of the language.

She wants to argue that she isn’t a soldier, despite the fact that the DEO did recruit her, despite the fact that she’s definitely been out in the field. Her mouth opens to do just that, but it snaps shut promptly when Kara interjects.

“Oh no, Alex is a scientist, she’s just very protective of me,” Kara says, grinning at Alex at the latter statement.

But Astra gives her a knowing glance, her expression turning appreciative and almost admiring. While Kara doesn’t know she’s DEO, Astra would not fall for any excuses.

Then again, Alex doesn’t think Astra would have been able to hide that from her either, had the roles been reversed.

“Brave and intelligent, then,” Astra remarks, her voice almost a purr, and Alex can feel herself flush slightly.

Before she can respond in any capacity Alex can feel herself get drawn into a hug, and it takes her a second to process that Alura is embracing her. She sounds choked up all over again when she thanks Alex for taking care of Kara, for not leaving her even now, and countless other things Alex can barely make out.

When Alura eventually releases Alex she quickly regains composure and, after reassuring Alex she is more than welcome to come with them, leads them home. Kara’s walking ahead with her to catch up on things Alex would have been interested in hearing, had Astra not been beside her to capture her attention instead.

Lara gave her descendant a ludicrous look for even saying such words. The Aen Elle princess couldn't just leave her to face everything Lara herself had endured growing up with her people. No, it wasn't going to happen. "I appreciate the thought, and I know you mean well, child, but I'm not leaving you alone to face my father or our people." She grabbed her hand before glancing at the shinning palace of Tir na Lia in the distance. "We will face this together. Not alone."

It was her new purpose in life now---to unite humans and elves. To help make this a world where non-humans and humans no longer had to live in fear and hate of one another. It was a dream Cregennan had stirred inside her long ago, and something she would continue to fight for even if he were gone.

Taking her descendants hands into her own, the elven princess smiled at Ciri. "It won't be easy. It never has been when you're trying to make a change, but it's worth the fight. You must stay strong. I think you know that all too well, dear child. Now...tell me about your adoptive parents. What are they like?"

The Princess of Alders sighs, looking at her descendant sadly. "I've been here and there, just trying to lay low and off the radar of the Dearg Ruadhri. But I've also been in other worlds," she pauses, studying Ciri with sympathy, knowing so much has been put on her simply because she shares the same blood in her veins.

"I'm so sorry, Zireael, but you must understand. I thought things would be better if the world believed me to be dead. I never wished for this to befall onto you."

𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐚 𝐃𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧-- 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐫 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐜 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐥𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐩𝐞𝐨𝐩𝐥𝐞?

Crying because during my re-play of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt when Geralt and Keira go on their quest to find the magic lamp that Keira gave to the Mysterious Elf (aka Avallac'h), they discover a monument bearing the Sign of the Gull (meaning it's for Lara Dorren) and something that Geralt says is something I didn't notice before until now...

Keira Metz: "Whose grave is it-- what do you think? No inscription, sadly." Geralt: "Hmm...Sign of the Gull. If I didn't already know where she was buried, I'd guess this is Lara Dorren's sepulcher." Keira Metz: "Perhaps it's a monument to her?" Geralt: "Can't see the elves commemorating her this way. Heroine of a tragic legend to some, but...most see her as a traitor to her race, who got her just desserts for marrying Cregennan of Lod." Keira Metz: "Perhaps the elven mage is Lara's kin. It would explain why he's helping Ciri."

I think this just adds more to my AU verse I have for her where she ends up surviving and is afraid to return home because she assumes (just as Geralt does) that she will be seen as a traitor in the eyes of her people because of the fact she is their princess and was expected to provide them with a savior, but instead, ended up going against everything she was taught, essentially abandoning her own people in their time of need, and falling in love with the enemy, much less having his child.

It also plays into the whole thing of Lara having her story told from two different sides-- elves and humans-- who either make her into a tragic heroine or a traitor who got what she deserved. And yet, just like both versions, it could be true or false.

But to have her own people-- the elves-- seeing her as BOTH, it's a lot for her, especially after having it drilled into her head for centuries that she will provide them with hope and a savior, only to turn her back on them and leave them to find another way.

However, I think it's beautiful to note that Avallac'h still honors her despite having every reason to be the most hurt by her. And that last line from Keira says it all-- it would explain why he's helping Ciri.

𝐖𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐋𝐈𝐒𝐓 for Lara Dorren:

Lara Survives AU--- I have an AU verse on here (and it's pretty much my main for Lara), where she ends up surviving and going into hiding and having Cerro spread a story that she had died with Cregennan before giving her Riannon to adopt so her daughter has a chance at living a better life. Instead of returning back to the world of the Aen Elle since she thinks she would be seen as a traitor, Lara lives on the run, hiding in the shadows and secretly watching over her descendants through the centuries. This verse is FULLY flexible on where we could start and how we could change the story too. You can read more on it HERE!

Children of the Elder Blood/Lara's Descendants--- Give me all the feels over Lara meeting her descendants! They are her family and she will always see them as such. Just give me the angst.

Lady of Worlds & all the Crossovers!--- Just like Ciri, Lara has the ability to travel to other worlds and times, also being a girl who travels through time. Crossovers are no problem at all.

The Princess of the Aen Elle Elves (Throw your elf muses at her!) --- I am begging you to throw your elf muses at Lara! It doesn't matter what world they are from, just do it! Lara carries much weight on her shoulders feeling like she has to save all elves (it's just part of her upbringing), so I'd love to see how the dynamics play out. Also if you have any Aen Elle or Aen Seidhe from the Witcher world, just come at her. I'd also love to see how she interacts with one of the Scoia’teal…or the Dalish elves from Dragon Age.

Exploring the Origins--- I wouldn't mind exploring things that happen in Lara's backstory. After all, we don't know too much about her and being an elf (especially a time traveling one at that), there is plenty to work with and explore. Feel free to hit me up with that. Okay, so it’s time I finally post this headcanon, however, it’s still tragic in someway. Obviously starting with what’s in canon lore: Riannon is the biological daughter of the elven sorceress Lara Dorren, and human mage, Cregennan of Lod. Orphaned at birth, she was adopted by Cerro, Queen of Redania. Everything concerning Riannon in lore is REALLY freakin tragic. 

As for Lara’s thoughts on her daughter (especially in my��‘Lara Survives AU’ verse): Riannon is the only part of Cregennan that Lara has left. Her daughter means the world to her and after everything she has lost, Lara will do whatever it takes to keep Riannon safe and make sure she doesn’t end up following the same tragic fate. Hence, despite it being the most difficult and heartbreaking decision of her life, Lara ends up leaving a newborn Riannon in the care of Cerro, her best friend. However, it isn’t easy on Lara being parted from her daughter. As the years go by, she tries to take glimpses at the young princess, curious to see what her daughter has become. But all Lara see’s is a reflection of herself and Cregennan and it’s enough to tear her heart apart in both joy and agony. The real heartbreaker though is when Lara finds out she has even outlived her daughter, who died at only 38 years old after the grief of losing her own children. In that moment, Lara can understand the pain Riannon must have felt because she is now feeling the empty hole in her chest from her loss and it feels like it’s enough to end her…but there is a curse with being able to live a long time as an elf, and this is it. 

However, if things go different in the verse and Lara ends up going back to Cerro and taking her daughter back as a young babe, then Mama and Daughter are happy and there will be no tears. And Riannon being a half-elf may be able to live a long time, at least to somewhere in her 100s-200s? 

I also honestly think that if Riannon was allowed in the world of the Aen Elle, that she would also be a Princess of the Alders alongside her mother. You can’t change my mind on that. Thanks. Oh, also, Lara has affectionately nicknamed Riannon ,“My Little Princess and Butterfly”, because of this fact.

Lara Dorren’s Verses Moodboard: Princess of the Higher Vampires (Vampire!Lara AU) 

In an alternate universe, Lara Dorren is the daughter of a royal Higher Vampire (an Unseen Elder). Because of the rarity of higher vampires, as well as the unique abilities they often possess, Lara tends to live a pretty sheltered life away from humans, especially after the loss of her mother when she was younger. However, growing tired of being a princess locked away in a tower like a precious pearl, Lara starts to venture out to explore the world beyond her castle. She can be playful and come off as vain, but her heart is as true as the words that fall from her lips. 

True higher vampires can look exactly like a human being and can even evade detection from a witcher's medallion, only revealing themselves at their own convenience. Higher vampires are also incredibly intelligent, and possess numerous - and often unique- abilities. Unlike their lesser cousins, higher vampires do not need to drink blood to survive; however, the consumption of blood offers an experience not unlike the consumption of alcohol. Not all higher vampires are dangerous to humans either; many even avoid human contact altogether, and some even work altruistically, if clandestinely, to aid humanity.

Details/Headcanons:

1. Lara is the daughter of an Unseen Elder (a group of older higher vampires who serve as leader figures for their brethren.) 

2. Her mother was killed by another Higher Vampire a long time ago. It was the reason the Unseen Elders made it taboo for other vampires to kill each other.

My name is Chris and I'm a 28 year old roleplayer with 15 years experience writing! I'm an ICU RN in my free time with a beautiful wife and an even more beautiful cat and a fairly brand new puppy. I write mainly over email and reply 2-3 times a week with anywhere from 5-16 paragraphs, depending on the characters and actions in the scene. I also communicate over various messengers if that is at all your jam for plotting purposes and the like. I write M/F and F/F lines. And, since I'm a ICU nurse, I can always promise painfully medically accurate roleplay. I put extra *s by the lines that I will literally lose my mind if you approach me about. Searching hard! Figured I'd start with original lines: -This American Life Something set in the 1970s, focusing on a roadtrip. A group of teenagers leave their small town behind to head out west. I love this time period. Can be supernatural, supernatural lite (think Twin Peaks weirdness) or totally natural. F/F True Detective line A line about a pair of detectives from the city taking on a murder in a small down that isn't jazzed about two women taking the reigns of such a large case. Fandoms! -Star Wars** I know Reylo is all the rage these days, as is Qi'Ra/Han. But, man ALIVE, I really want something focusing on the core four: Luke, Leia, Han, and, ya boy, Chewie. Something taking place in that three year gap between New Hope and Empire as they work among the rebellion. Strange new worlds, getting into scrapes, sharply running from the empire, avoiding Vader, bounty hunters, and all sorts of things. This time period is far from explored and we can really thrive in the galaxy. Primarily I want to focus on the budding relationship between Han and Leia and Luke's training, pre-Yoda. In a perfect world, I'd want to write Han and Chewie (If anyone thinks Chewie is just a NPC, get out my face) while my partner takes on Leia and Luke. I'd be willing to switch out Chewie for Luke if need be, I guess? We could also split up C3PO and R2. Let's real build out the resistance and delve into the 'WARS' part of those big yellow letters that never get enough attention. On top of all of that, I also have an original love interest in mind for Luke if someone else plays him! She's a spitfire. Alternatively, I'd be down for writing something set in the clone wars. Perhaps two jedi that broke the order's relationship laws and then survived Order 66 together? -Preacher Seriously. Love this show, love this comic. Would happily write Jesse or Cassidy against Tulip. Just definitely looking for a Tulip -The Boys Would love to write Hughie against Starlight! Currently working my way through the season that just dropped. -Marvel -I will love you forever if you write an Elektra against my Daredevil. They are toxic and in love and I love it.
