Was bored and curious about what other Skya and Jaques (Skyques??) kids I could make. So far, Ushio II is still the only canon child to come after the story, but seeing as none of the Azafuse holders age, I can see them have more than one kid over the years. Might make some more kids for Yu Lee and Manolo, but we'll see.
Note: Azafuse born kids stop aging at 20

Happy Birthday Tasuku Hatanaka (Aug 17)
Happy 25th birthday! His whole live was on Bilibili. It’s gone now. Dang. I could’ve shared it but Tumblr has a 5min video limit while that show was around 2 hours. Trust me, he has the moves. He has been going so far as a seiyuu! I’m proud of him. I see a bright future and possibly a “Best Rookie Seiyuu” Award!
He was self-conscious in the early stages of his career. He used to run a personal Twitter but found himself too drawn and found it wasn’t great for his self-esteem. Since then, he has grown a lot and now has an official Twitter. He’s affiliated with Ken Production and performs music under Lantis.

When people ask what is my favorite anime, I say: Natsume Yuujinchou Sengoku Basara 2009-2011 Code Geass But I know when people ask for my favorite series, they actually want to know what my tastes are, and just 3 series isn't really it. Or, it’s such an incomplete picture, I'm not sure it's truthful. For example, I may be into almost exclusively the iyashikei genre now, but I used to watch primarily Shonen anime, particularly "demon hunting" and martial arts anime. I’d give them their own sections on my shelves.  And a lot of my manga collecting was about yokai/supernatural/suburban-fantasy, gender-role bending, and Rumiko Takahashi.
This old post is a good list: (https://mysticdragon3md3.tumblr.com/post/183775613247/that-does-sound-fun-but-i-dont-like) "Name an anime you like for every letter of your name!" Mushi-shi Yu Yu Hakusho Sengoku Basara Tiger & Bunny Inuyasha Code Geass Devil Hunter Yohko Ranma ½ Azumanga Daioh Get Backers Ouran Koko Host Club Natsume Yuujinchou 3rd: the Girl With the Blue Eye, The
The figures I buy are also good indicators of what series I loved throughout the years. Though, there are a bunch of Nendoroids in my collection from series/characters I don't care about, and I just wanted their wardrobes or figures as beauty pieces. Weeding those out, and looking at the Nendoroids in front of me: Sengoku Basara 2009-2011 Touken Ranbu Kill la Kill Puella Magi Madoka Magica Persona 5 Hetalia Kingdom Hearts Nichijou Ushio and Tora Kimi ni Todoke Naruto Fullmetal Alchemist Knight's & Magic Mega Man Bleach Inuyasha Code Geass Slayers Haikyuu Attack on Titan (season 1) Vocaloid (Len, Rin, Luka) Kantai Collection Rumiko Takahashi anime/manga Tiger and Bunny Kamen Rider W Dramatical Murder Free Iwatobi Swim Club Ranma 1/2 Kamen Rider Fourze Kamen Rider Gaim Lucky Star My pins and keychain carms are also good indicators: Persona 5 Bleach Aquarion Age: Juvenile Orion Get Backers Azumanga Daioh Slayers Ranma 1/2 Hetalia Free Iwatobi Swim Club Kingdom Hearts Haikyuu Inuyasha Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Outlaw Star
Series via my plushies: Bleach Street Fighter II Fullmetal Alchemist 2003 Azumanga Daioh Inuyasha Hetalia Ouran High School Host Club Kingdom Hearts Naruto Code Geass Fruits Basket
My DVD/bluray collection is a little misleading because I bought most of it, back in the day when you couldn't preview a series through free streaming first, to see if you wanted to actually buy it.  Back then, you'd buy some disks, then the completionist itch and "sunk cost fallacy" set in, and you might even convince yourself that you liked a series, just to rationalize DVD purchases.  So I'll try to screen out the series I didn't really end up liking.  Here are my favorites, though there are still many series I haven’t bought yet:  Slayers Naruto Real Bout High School (Samurai Girl Kyoko) Yoroiden Samurai Troopers Samurai 7 Sengoku Basara 2009 Shadow Skill Street Fighter II the Movie (Tenjyo Tenge) Tsukikage Ran Yu Yu Hakusho Bubblegum Crisis/Crash Code Geass (Eureka 7, 2nd half) Gad Guard Gankutsuo (Gunslinger Girl) Iria Outlaw Star (The Third: the Girl With the Blue Eye) Trigun Bleach Claymore Mamono Hunter Yohko Devil May Cry Hellsing Hellsing Ultimate Mushishi Night Warriors: Darkstalkers Ushio & Tora Vampire Hunter D Bloodlust Yami no Matsuei (Final Fantasy Unlimited) Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Final Fantasy VII Advent Children Complete Fullmetal Alchemist 2003 Get Backers High School of the Dead Those Who Hunt Elves Tiger & Bunny Azumanga Daioh  Ouran High School Host Club Haikyuu Gakuen Heaven Hetalia Kamichuu Kare Kano Lucky Star (Maho Tsukai Tai) Midori Days Nichijou  Magic Knight Rayearth  To Heart Uta no Prince-sama Revolutionary Girl Utena  X Kimi ni Todoke Natsume's Book of Friends Rumiko Takahashi Anthology (Urusei Yatsura) Maison Ikkoku Mermaid Forest Ranma 1/2  Inuyasha
It's pretty interesting to go through my shelves and see what I used to be obsessed with.  And my manga should be the best indicator.  But I've rearranged my shelves so much to prioritize figures and display cases, that most of my manga is buried in the back of my shelves, behind everything else. Though, my most favorite manga is still in the front, and I have old photos of what used to be in the front rows:   Rumic World Rumic Theater Maison Ikkoku Mermaid saga Ranma 1/2 Inuyasha FAKE By the Sword Tenryu Until the Full Moon Land of the Blindfolded Penguin Revolution Sweet Rein Magic Knight Rayearth Clover X Natsume's Book of Friends Claymore Aquarian Age: Juvenile Orion Kieli Mugen Spiral Yokai Doctor Her Majesty's Dog Category Freaks Buso Renkin Trigun Parasyte Bleach Kamikaze Girls Revolutionary Girl Utena Girl Got Game Pretty Face Your And My Secret Otomen W Juliet Ouran High School Host Club Mame Basara Hetalia Kimi ni Todoke Kare Kano A.I. Revolution Ballad of a Shinigami Yume Kira Dream Shoppe Start With a Happy Ending Time Guardian Nightmare Inspector Soul Rescue Gate Hibiki's Magic Translucent

Fall 2018 (part 9)
Beelzebub-jou no Okinimesu mama.
Other Titles: ベルゼブブ嬢のお気に召すまま。, As Miss Beelzebub Likes
Source: manga
Studio: LIDENFILMS
Genre: slice of life demons
Beelzebub is a great demon lord who rules over several millions of demons. Myurin, who decides to serve the demon lord, learns that not only does Beelzebub lack the poise of a great demon but is also a laid-back girl who likes fluffy things. Thus begins the daily-life comedy revolving around the many villains in the demon world.
It seems cute, if not to the level of Hoozuki. I’m curious. -Ace
Karakuri Circus
Other Titles: からくりサーカス, Le Cirque de Karakuri
Source: manga
Studio: VOLN
Genre: shounen
The protagonist, Masaru, has just inherited a big fortune after the death of his father. However, people are trying to get their hands on it by any means necessary, even if it means killing him. Narumi helps Masaru from being kidnapped after fighting strange figures. He finds out that they're not humans, but wooden puppets with amazing strength. After a hard fight, Narumi is forced to admit that he's no opponent for them; and just when he starts to think that Masaru will be captured, Shirogane, Masaru's watcher arrives from France with a weapon, the puppet Arlequin. Here begins the story of Karakuri Circus.
A somewhat somber shounen story with some creepy-looking dolls. The mangaka and studio are the same as Ushio to Tora. -Ace
Tsurune: Kazemai Koukou Kyuudoubu
Other Titles: ツルネ ―風舞高校弓道部―, Tsurune: Kazemai High School’s Archery Club
Source: light novel
Studio: Kyoto Animation
Genre: sports
The story follows Minato Narumiya. Minato played Japanese archery in middle school, but after a certain incident, he ran away from the sport. In high school, Minato meets new friends, and together as part of their school's archery club, they aim to win the prefectural tournament.
KyoAni always delivers decent stuff but I don’t think that this’ll be more than decent. -Ace
Hangyakusei Million Arthur
Other Titles: 叛逆性ミリオンアーサー , Treacherous Arthur
Source: mobile game
Studio: J.C.Staff
Genre: shounen?
Based on Square Enix's massively multiplayer online role-playing game.
I’m assuming a lot, but the premise appears to be that there are a million ‘King Arthur’ candidates trying to become king. A shounen anime set in the historical UK. -Ace

Blog Updates and Plans for 2020
Tumblr media
It’s no secret that Zero Changes has been pretty much dead for the latter half of 2019. Explaining the recent inactivity of my blog is a bit of a long story but the short version of it can pretty much be summed up in two words “I moved”.
Since about May of 2019 I began the long and arduous process of moving across the country. It started relatively stationary enough to be fair; I didn’t really leave my house until about the middle of October, but the time it took to pack all my belongings, clean and repair the house so it was in tip-top shape, and list it on the market for sale, was enormous. Between working and moving I had very little free time for myself. My writing naturally fell to the wayside during this entire endeavor and it shows.
Even after I moved things were still in limbo for quite some time. Starting up a new life in a new city was hard, and getting the new house cleaned, repaired, and in tip-top shape was an ordeal all of its own. And this has nothing on the horrors of bureaucracy and dealing with the bank which left my family fairly exhausted and not to mention homeless for some time in-between the sale of the old house and the purchase of the new house. Mooching off of relatives for a month is just not fun, I will tell you that.
Tumblr media
By late November everything was finally settled and yet things only got worse from there. I had to organize family events, Thanksgiving happened, and then the Christmas holiday swept up everyone like it always does. It was crazy. There was very little time to myself and I even got sick somewhere in there which I account to the stress, really. It’s only now that December is entering its end that I feel I finally have a bit of breathing room and space back to myself. It is still a bit strange, and it’s hard to get back into the groove of things, but I am finally starting to feel at ease. So with that my blogging will start to resume again ever so slowly. I really would like to get some writing done for my own personal story I have been working on and there are a few end of the year blog posts I really hope to make. It will be a slow process but things are finally starting to come back.
Tumblr media
Organizing all my gaming and anime collection has been both the highlight and hardest thing about this move. Without a basement I really do lack my old game room I used to have and storage is limited which means sadly a lot of my older games are now going to have to settle to live in storage in the garage for the time being. But I have managed to get a respectable level of display space in my room for my portable gaming collection and current generation titles which feels good enough for me now. Gone are the days I was able to flaunt some Limited Editions sets, but let’s be honest, those limited editions really were just huge space takers and dust magnets.
Tumblr media
Anime faired a lot better and I feel I got a majority of them out. My DVD media shelf really grew into a nightmare all its own--and what I thought was enough space was not nearly enough. I wanted there to be room to grow for the DVD shelf but there wasn’t enough room period. I got a large majority of my favorites on display and seeing all my old Gundam DVDs out of storage really felt special. Alas Gundam and Dragon Ball pretty much destroyed any chance of reasonably displaying other DVD sets so it is what it is, I have to admit. For the time what I have is fine and the DVDs and Blu-rays no longer have to share the same storage space which is great.
Speaking of blu-rays I am really happy with what I got for them. There are still tons of room to grow my budding blu-ray collection and I was even able to get my Legend of the Galactic Heroes and Ushio & Tora sets out. Now the LotGH set was quite possibly one of the most stressful things I ever had to move in my entire life surely because of how fragile it is and how much it costs! There was no way I could let it be damaged and went above and beyond when I secured it for the move. Seeing it in perfect condition when I unboxed all my anime set me at ease like a long struggle was finally over.
Tumblr media
The last little display piece I feel good about right now is my toy shelf, or perhaps more apt my amiibo shelf. It’s nice to have a lot of space to display my amiibo collection and I look forward to growing it in the future as well. I was also able to get some spots cleared at the very top for my model kits and I plan to grow that even more in the future too--I don’t have nearly enough Gundams!
In closing, I moved, it was tough, but things are finally starting to get comfortable again. There are a few projects I would like to tackle in the upcoming future for my blogging; a long overdo Bravely Second analysis is definitely one of them. It’s been something I planned ever since I did my original Bravely Default analysis and a lot of factors kept causing me to put it off. Now that we had a Bravely Default II announcement though I feel there is no better time than to get around to it. Look forward to that in 2020 and much more.

New Releases 8/29/17
Happy New Release Day!
This is the big one folks. The one we’ve all been waiting and training for.
The Lion King, The Lion King II: Simba’s Pride, and The Lion King 1 1/2 is finally freed from on the vault. I missed picking it up the first time it came out on DVD/Blu-Ray but I am not missing out this time. Unfortunately for our wallets, all three will have to be bought separately. Which is mildly frustrating since Pocahontas, Lilo and Stitch, Mulan, and The Fox and the Hound were all released with their sequels in a combo pack earlier this year. For the same price as what one of these alone will be. Yet I can’t blame Disney for wanting to cash in while they can though they really don’t need to. I’ll definitely be getting the first two later today. I’ve never seen the third and I don’t particularly care to.
In Books --A Song for Quiet (Persons Non Grata #2) by Cassandra Khaw “Deacon James is a wandering bluesman straight from Georgia, a black man with troubles that he can’t escape, and music that won’t let him go. On a train to Arkham, he meets trouble - visions of nightmares, gaping mouths and gasping tendrils, and a madman who calls himself John Persons. According to the stranger, Deacon is carrying a seed in his head, a thing that will destroy the world if he lets it hatch. The mad ravings chase Deacon to his next gig. His saxophone doesn’t call up his audience from their seats, it calls up monstrosities from across dimensions. As Deacon flees, chased by horrors and cultists, he stumbles upon a runaway girl, who is trying to escape her father, and the destiny he has waiting for her. Like Deacon, she carries something deep inside her, something twisted and dangerous. Together, they seek to leave Arkham, only to find the Thousand Young lurking in the woods. The song in Deacon’s head is growing stronger, and soon he won’t be able to ignore it any more.”
I have not read the first book (Hammers on Bone) in this series yet but I don’t think you will necessarily need to in order to read this one. John Persons was the main character in book one but it looks like he’ll be taking a back seat in book two. It was actually this book that made me interested in this series. I love it when music is a form of magic.
--Akashic Records of Bastard Magical Instructor Volume 1 by Tarou Hitsuji and illustrated by Aosa Tsunemi “Lumia and Sisti are mages-in-training at a prestigious magical academy where they hope to be taught by the best of the best. However, when their favorite instructor suddenly retires, his replacement turns out to be a total jerk - he’s idle, incompetent, and always late! Can Lumia help uncover their new teacher’s true potential - and can Sisti still learn magic and unravel the secrets of the mysterious Sky Castle with such a terrible mentor as her guide?”
I watched the anime of this series on Crunchyroll, though I still need to finish the last episode or two. If you ever decide to try it out, give it two episodes. It does a complete mood change near the end of episode two and from the there the show really starts getting good. The volume showed up a little early at my work so I flipped through it at the end of my shift. The end of episode two is where the volume ends. Or maybe it was a little into episode three?
There is some mild fan-service in this series. And the new teacher is a perv. But other than that I really enjoyed the show and I’m excited to read the manga.
--Kigurumi Guardians Volume 1 by Lily Hoshino “Hakka Sasakura’s life it about to turn upside-down. She comes home from a day of admiring her student body president to discover that a mysterious creature resembling a man in an animal suit has taken up residence in her home. What’s more, she has been chosen to work with this strange being to fight off invaders from another dimension and save the world...and she has to kiss him to do so?!”
Really drawn to this series because of the art style. Which this series is written and illustrated by the artist of Penguin Drum. Which then makes me think of Utena and Yurikuma Arashi. The first chapter is available to read on Kodansha’s website. It covers how Hakka and two other students (one girl and one boy (yay more magical boys!)) are recruited and become involved in a short fight with one of the weaker dimensional beings. Though none of them fight in the first chapter, it was set up for them to see that such beings are indeed real and threatening their world.
In Movies --A Journey Through Fairyland “Michael is a gifted oboe player, but his heart’s not in it. He ignores his musical studies to lose himself in the garden, playing for the benefit of his beloved flowers. Michael’s frustrated teacher gives him an ultimatum: Be serious, or leave the music school forever! Despondent, Michael prepares to say goodbye to the garden. But the floral fairy Florence, so bewitched by his music, bestows a powerful magic wand on Michael, and whisks him away. Will Michael’s astonishing adventure with Florence in Fairyland help him rediscover his love of music?”
Really want to see this. It was directed by Masami Hata who also directed Little Nemo Adventures in Storyland and The Sea Prince and the Fire Child. Which I have also never seen. But all three just look amazing. Especially Little Nemo.
--Marmalade Boy Collection 1 “Miki Koishikawa’s parents have always been strange. While deeply caring for their daughter, they’re prone to wasteful spending, oversleeping, and even taking extravagant trips. And their latest trip to Hawaii has brought back something truly outrageous: love. Not for each other, but for a different couple entirely! With her parents planning to divorce and swap partners with the Matsuuras, Miki’s life is turned upside down with a new, highly abnormal family all living together in one house. To top it off, Matsuuras have a son named Yuu exactly Miki’s age, and he’s too gorgeous for words. For better or worse, this is Miki’s life now, but adjusting won’t be easy when jealous rivals and old flames enter the mix!
Collection 1 includes episodes 1-38 of this classic shoujo series. I have never seen this series but two of my friends are very excited for this re-release. At first I thought this would be a more drama shoujo series but after a second thought I realized that it is more of a romantic comedy. After all, with both families under the same roof but staying with the others spouse there is sure to be a lot of funny, awkward situations.
--The Nutcracker Fantasy “After a young girl, Clara, receives a nutcracker from her enigmatic Uncle Drosselmayer, she finds that her precious present is stolen by thieving rats led by Mauslynx, the double-headed rat queen. To win it back, Clara enters a surreal land through her family’s grandfather clock. One of her stops is the Kingdom of Dolls, where she finds the king grieving over his cursed, eternally-asleep daughter, Princess Mary, a doppelganger for Clara herself. She and Franz, the captain of the guards and Mary’s suitor, infiltrate the army of rats in a desperate attempt to dethrone the despot!”
A stop-motion film from 1979 made with dolls. It reminds me of the classic Christmas films of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer, The Year Without Santa Claus, and so on. Which I watch every year so this title would be a nice addition to add to my yearly movies. Also, film wise, it looks very impressive. I looked up a trailer on YouTube and it has some pretty great camerawork that I don’t think I’ve seen in other stop-motion films of that era.
Those are my top picks for this week. Other great titles are also coming out today like Gotham S3 and Ushio and Tora (the new series). What is everyone most excited for?

My Favorite Anime of 2016
In the final installment of my 2016 entertainment round-up, let's cover my favorite TV anime of 2016. Since I ended up watching quite a bit, I decided to remove any sequels (since people generally don't jump in the middle) as well as restrict the list to my Top 10. Unless mentioned otherwise, all series completed their runs in 2016. Anime listed are not ranked, but presented in the order I watched them. Erased Erased has a killer premise. Satoru has the uncontrollable ability to go back in time (in his own body) to correct the past before someone is hurt or killed, but when his mother is murdered he's sent back a shocking 18 years in time to when he's a 10-year-old kid. He thinks by saving the life of a classmate who was murdered he'll be able to save the life of his mother in the future. If the ending had lived up to the first half this would have made my top 3 of the year, but it couldn't quite pull it off. Prince of Stride: Alternative This is apparently based off an otome game, but I actually watched it for the sport (and there is surprisingly no romance in the show either, so it's either the pretty boys or their athletics). Stride is a fictional sport that works like a cross between an obstacle course and a relay race. Honan High School used to have the best stride team, but has fallen on hard times until our intrepid first year students manage to fill up the remaining team slots and revive the dream of winning the End of Summer championship. I don't watch much sports anime so I can't compare to others of its genre, but as someone who ran track and field in high school this rang true for me. Schwarzesmarken I never watched Muv-Luv so I can't speak for Schwarzesmarken's place in that universe, but the spin-off is fairly stand alone and I didn't feel the need to watch the parent series. In an alternate 1983 aliens have landed and are slowly wiping humanity off the planet in a grueling land battle. It's a mecha series and despite all the political shenanigans, it never forgets it is a mecha series, with a pivotal battle every episode that never feels like filler. Every round of combat has a purpose and moves the story forward, resulting in a lot of plot and character development that other series wouldn't be able to fit in a similar amount of time. Joker Game Joker Game follows a group of spies affiliated with D-Agency, a fictional Japanese spy unit from World War II. Unlike most of the Japanese army at the time, they aren't staunch nationalists, blind to anything but the success of war. Taking an anthology format, each episode or two-parter revolves around a particular character who either belongs to or comes into contact with an agent of D-Agency. It's a dicey topic depicting Japanese spies during World War II, but is made palatable by the fact that D-Agency's rules forbid killing and the spies are more interested in protecting Japan than attacking other countries. Knights of Sidonia The two seasons of Knights of Sidonia ran in 2014 and 2015 respectively. It's a far future hard science fiction story about the remnants of humanity fleeing into the depths of space in search of a new home after the mysterious alien Gauna destroyed Earth. Centuries later the Gauna catch up with the generation ship Sidonia and a new war begins. Unlike most mecha series, Knights of Sidonia injects a heavy dose of realism, ranging from how pilots can relieve themselves in a sanitary manner while stuck in a mecha for hours on end, to the effect on people's bodies when a vehicle as large as a generation ship has to sudden change course. The series is great for people who like science in their sf, and narrowly misses being in my top 3 of the year. Orange * Orange is instantly relatable for anyone who was a shy and awkward teenager. Teenage Naho receives a letter from herself ten years into the future, telling her to watch for a new student, Kakeru, who will become very important to her. The letter is full of future Naho's regrets and how she would have done things differently if given the chance, but the crux of the matter is that it's easy for adult Naho to say such things, and considerably more difficult for teenage Naho to act on them. I won't spoil the real dilemma of the series, but it's not hard to find with a little searching. Orange does falter around the final third of the series, but its feelings and treatment of isolation and depression are expertly handled and make for a beautiful ending. Psycho-Pass * The other older series I watched this year, Psycho-Pass, originally ran in 2012-2013 (and I have not yet watched the sequel) and after I finished I just could not get it out of my mind. Taking place in a dystopian future, Psycho-Pass follows the members of Division 1 from the Criminal Investigative Department (i.e. the police). The interesting thing is that they are law enforcement in an authoritarian police state, and yet they are essentially good people, who are doing their best to work with an oppressive system that in many ways works against them. The worldbuilding is fantastic and brings up excellent questions that the series both notes and addresses. Things get technical, but I never felt lost, and the series is self-contained without any need for future material, even though it exists. It's dark and a tad on the violent side, but soooooo good. 91 Days I have a weakness for no-doubt romanticized period pieces about the mafia, and 91 Days stands with the best of them. Though made by people an ocean away, it's clearly a love letter to mafia media featuring mafiosos who are fully capable of being caring friends and family while ordering a hit without breaking a sweat. Angelo Lagusa is a bit of a cipher as a protagonist, but even if the audience isn't privy to his inner thoughts, the motivation for his single-minded quest for revenge is understandable. This is a show where how the protagonist does something is more interesting than whether the audience would have done the same. Reactions to the ending might be a bit mixed, but considering where the show is coming from, it's clear that there would never have been a happy ending. ReLIFE I dithered on including this or Ushio and Tora and ReLIFE edged out in that the cast is the more relatable of the two. I wasn't sure how well the manga would transition to anime considering that it's essentially a series of short scenes, but it holds together remarkable well, pulling itself together into a solid episode format. I know people who are or have been in exactly Arata Kaizaki's position, being intelligent people who graduated from a university but can't seem to land a full time job. I'm not sure they would have taken the opportunity to be de-aged ten years and sent back to high school, but the premise is the charm of the series, with Arata coming off as strange or weird to other high schoolers due to his actual age and the actual teenagers behaving more like actual teenagers. Yuri on Ice * It may be too soon to truly rank Yuri on Ice as one of my top 3 of the year, seeing as this just wrapped up in December, but I'm a huge figure skating fan, and combining realistic figure skating with an amazing cast of characters, is just like catnip. You can see how much effort went into recreating the sport in the animation, the details of what it's like to compete, and even cameos by former Olympic skaters. That this is one of the most gay positive portrayals in anime is icing on the cake. It's refreshing to see a show where the characters are comfortably attracted to each other and it's given the same respect as a heterosexual romance rather than being fetishized for the straight female audience. And this concludes my Top 10 anime viewed during 2016. The three series I tagged with an asterisk (*) were my favorites of the year, where I found myself looking forward to every new episode or binge watching in Psycho-Pass's case. Though not an anime I'd also like to give a thumbs up to Voltron: Legendary Defender for capturing what was good about the anime original while still updating it for present day audiences.

I knew as soon as I came up with Jaques's character (a year ago I think) that he was going to become Skya's forever partner. So, here's Skya in the distant future just after giving birth to their son, Ushio II.

So this past Saturday, I went to the Ultra Tokyo Connection (Good Smile Company) pop up shop at Anime Jungle Los Angeles.  There was a lot of stuff not on the menu, so I took lots of photos.  ^_^  (More below the cut.)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
A lot of the stuff on the menu were displayed in big glass cases.  The Cardcaptor Sakura Kinomoto Stars Bless You static scale figure was even on a motorized revolving stand.  But I had already taken so many photos, that I skipped the figures that were already posted on the menu.  ^^;  Sorry!

Even with all this great stuff, I only bought one thing:  A $5 pack of 5 blank Nendoroid faceplates.  ^o^;
Tumblr media
Unfortunately, despite all the great stuff in the store, I already had all from that selection that I wanted.  ^^;  I was tempted by the dioramas and Nendoroid play sets, but as a crafter, I can---and HAVE MADE diorama accessories already.  Even though the collector side of me really wants that OFFICIAL Good Smile Company dioramas!  *o*  The only figures to really tempt me were the Nendoroid Meta Knight and Nendoroid Magical Mirai Miku.  But I had already decided against those when their preorders first showed up.  I’ve never even played a Kirby game before, and I already preordered Nendoroid Ice Kirby---which I REALLY shouldn’t have!  x_x;  And as cute as Magical Mirai Miku is (with her hat, and coat tails, and sparkly box...*.*!) I’m not obsessed with Vocaloid.  Someone who’s not obsessed with Vocaloid should not already have 8 Mikus, 3 pairs of Len&Rin, and 2 Kaitos...yet, I do.  ~_~;  I really should be saving that $50 for all those future Haikyuu, KanColle, and TouRabu Nendoroids, instead of Mirai Miku.  ...Though, she was SUPER cute!  And that sparkly BOX---!  ;U:
