Is your Brutus design based on Tobais Menzies in HBO’s Rome? I’ve been really curious about this for a while because I love how you draw him and it really reminds me of Tobias :)
I don't actually have a concrete brutus design, I change up how I draw him every couple of months RIP but in general: not particularly!
while I find tobias menzies' portrayal of brutus fascinating to rotate around in my mind and very fun to talk about, the design of brutus that lasted the longest on this blog was partially inspired by ian duncan's brutus in julius caesar (2002) :)
#i think after that i pivoted to something modeled after the guy who played him in the french musical and then Generic Guy With#Short Hair and an eyebrow scar. and Ive been meaning to upgrade him to a design without an eyebrow scar because i just#don't really have a good reason for it lmao#i was actually going to model my julius caesar after tobias menzies because he sort of looks like that one bust of caesar#and honestly i still might. i dont have a concrete caesar design either and i should really get working on that hahah ha h a..heughhh#ask tag
