The Shadow in the Photo: An Unpleasant Story of Pursuing Haziness
Photography, at its essence, is a fine art that catches minutes, feelings, and stories inside the squint of a screen. Each photo recounts a story; however, consider the possibility that the story it tells isn't simply bound to the actual picture. Imagine a concealed presence hiding behind the scenes of every image, developing closer with each snap. This is the disrupting excursion of a picture-taker who is brought into the secret of the shadow in the photo.
The Start of an Uncommon Excursion:
Everything began as a standard task for Ethan, a carefully prepared photographic artist known for his capacity to catch the spirit of his subjects. Entrusted with a venture to record the curious appeal of his little old neighborhood, Ethan wandered recognizable roads, snapping pictures of everything from the notable clock pinnacle to the clamoring ranchers' market. From the outset, the pictures appeared to be great, every one a demonstration of his expertise.
Notwithstanding, as he explored his photographs soon thereafter, Ethan saw something curious. Toward the side of one picture, taken close to the old oak tree in the town square, a weak, shadowy figure appeared to wait. Thinking it was a stunt of the light or a smirch on his focal point, he disregarded it and went on with his work.
The shadows develop:
Throughout the next few weeks, the shadows turned out to be more continuous and articulated. Each photo, whether of a peaceful scene or a vivacious road scene, uncovered a similar dull outline, edging nearer in each casing. The figure's structure was unclear, more of a haze than an individual, yet entirely irrefutably present.
Ethan's interest transformed into a fixation. He meticulously cleaned his camera, changed focal points, and changed his methods; however, the shadow endured. Companions and partners, at first doubtful, started to partake in his anxiety as they noticed the developing nearness of the shadowy figure in his portfolio.
The Frightful Escalates:
Not entirely settled on uncovering reality, Ethan dug into the historical backdrop of his old neighborhood, looking for any signs that could make sense of the ghostly presence. His examination drove him to neighborhood legends about a meandering soul attached to a heartbreaking occasion long forgotten by most. As per the stories, a puzzling figure wandered the town, everlastingly looking for something lost to time.
As Ethan's examination developed, the shadow in his photos appeared to respond, becoming more clear and really threatening. It was at this point not simply a foundation obscure, but an unmistakable figure with a chilling presence. Bad dreams started to torment him, loaded up with dreams of the shadow moving ever nearer, its goals obscure yet irrefutably vile.
The Peak: Defying the Dimness:
The peak of Ethan's eeriness came during a late-night photograph meeting at the town's unwanted rail route station, a spot saturated with history and distress. As he set up his camera, a staggering feeling of fear washed over him. The air felt weighty, and an unnatural quiet encompassed the station.
Noticing this, with a trembling hand, Ethan clicked the shutter button for the main picture. The picture depicted the shadow figure, now present in their room and standing just as the figure in the picture, with a human-shaped body but completely merged in darkness. Beating, he strove again, and his heart did renounce its art. This one also appeared to link in some way, its diagram being more specified and sinister.
Their struggles to snap the sexting image to break the spell intensified, and in the last moment before the screen flickers off, Ethan lifts the camera to take the last photograph. This time the shadow did not follow; instead, there was an ominous silence that seemed to reach out to the vast empty station. Perhaps those that haunted his photos had fizzled out, leaving behind a sense of uneasy calm.
The Repercussions: Another Viewpoint
It became etched in Ethan’s memory and creativity that the shadow he met in the photo was made forever. Though the divine presence had spread, the sensation shifted his perspective on photography and the hidden world he was invisible to. They are beginning to reflect a deeper understanding of light and shade, the drama residing in the highlights as well as the discreet tale that happens behind the scenes.
The delusion about the figure of the photograph ends up being one of the whispered secrets of the photophiles, which made the mysterious veil of the dainty cloak acknowledged to the actual international and the arena of the unknown. The transformation of the item represented within the very last collection from fascination to horror consequently illustrates the movement from interest to affect, a testimony to the secrets locked inside the outer edge of each photograph by way of Ethan.
End: To a layman, the science of capturing the light and darkness on camera will usually remain the undying dance of the 2.
The grim story of the shadow in the photo is one of the early indications of the potential of images to peek past what is even visible in the photo. Its feeling takes the curtain off and allows it to move beyond the pores and skin to expose the memories and veiled meanings that are hidden just below. There are constant memories to be unveiled and spirits to be determined in every shadow one may encounter.
While with our cameras and looking for our shots, let us not forget Ethan’s enjoyment and dark aspect. For inside the transfer between mild and darkness, we discover images but the living out of existence itself—the core of chasing the unknown, the hidden, and the invariable shades lurking in the tunnels of our belief.

13 Waiters And Waitresses Reveal Their Craziest Tales From The Floor
Waiters and waitresses have seriously tiring jobs. Theyoften have to be on their feet all day, trying to please table after table of customers.
Often, the customers are very nice and even fun to talk to, making the hours pass by quickly and the good tippers make the day even better.
There are times, though, when it seems like a nightmare shift will never end. Customer after customer sends food back for ridiculous reasons, andsome are literally impossible to please, no matter how hard one tries.
If you’ve ever been a waitress or a waiter, then you’re pretty much guaranteed to have a horror story of your own, if not a couple dozen to boot.
I have major respect for the servers who navigate tricky customers with poise and professionalism. I don’t think I’m cut out for it!
Do you have a crazy or totally unpleasantstory from being a server? Please SHARE with your family and friends on Facebook!

“We had all kinds of smoothies and daiquiris on the menu. One day, a lady ordered a mango daiquiri. I made it and delivered it, [then] she drank about a third of it. Then asked if there was real mango in it. I told her it was a concentrate, but, yes, it has real mango it.
“She panics and tells me ‘I can’t drink this! I’m allergic to mango!’
“Awesome.” crypt13

“It was a busy lunch rush on a hot summer day, so the AC was blasting, but not enough to keep the whole room cool. Add to this the fact that all the servers are running around as fast as they can in order to take care of each table’s every desire.
“So, one lady at my table approached me at the computer while I was putting in their order. She asked me if I could stop sweating.” folkmasterfrog

“I once had a woman order a burger and request that I take the lettuce, tomato and onion that come with the burger and chop it into a side salad for her. It was 99 cents extra to add an ALL YOU CAN EAT SALAD BAR to her order, but she insisted I take the single slice of tomato, the single slice of iceberg lettuce and the single circle of red onion and make her a side salad.
“So I did, and I charged her $1 dollar for the side of ranch dressing.” biggulpshuh_alright

“There’s a live-lobster tank for fresh full lobsters if you want to pay a little extra. Usually the customer assumes you’ll just pick one and cook it up for them, but I had a gentleman ask if he could handpick it from the tank himself. No problem.
“He picks one up, examines it, and proceeds to sing some foreign operatic aria to the damn thing. In front of the whole restaurant. Not a word in English, no idea what he was saying to it, but damn if the poor lobster didn’t near shed a tear.” jmur1308

“We had this omelet on our menu that had this chunky, spicy salsa type stuff in it. It was pretty good. A lady wanted that omelet, but without any of the chunky, salsa stuff. Without the chunky, salsa stuff it was merely an omelet with some cheese in it. This was clearly explained to her, and I told her that she’d save a couple of bucks by just ordering a cheese omelet.
“She SCREAMED at me that NO SHE WANTED THIS OMELET.
“Okay, fine. I put in the order, brought it to her, and she complained quite vocally that it was just a cheese omelet and ‘Couldn’t you put some vegetables or bacon or something in it?!’” angela_bee

“‘Sir, I’m sorry, I can’t do anything but offer to move you inside.’
“‘Well, you’re wearing a sweater. Aren’t you even going to offer it to her?’
“‘No, sir, I’m not going to give your wife MY sweater.’
“So he asked to speak to my manager who had to spend 10 minutes explaining that he was not going to require me to hand over the literal clothes off my back and that we have no control over the weather.” Pommesdor

{→} For a newly investigation leaded promptly by a single clue resumed to a quick doodle imprinted on a piece of paper held, there's zero ideas ambling along in the leader's mind apart from the fact that he scrupulously supplied a circumspect gaze inspecting the areas slumbering beneath a multitude of umbrages drinking the last pulps of the sun exchanging its place with a midnight sky.
Proceeding leisurely to the task given, distributed equally per members while Kano and his partner have their own business ongoing, Kido's eyes flickered from time to time out of boredom, vibrant orbs narrowed to adjust themselves to the difference of light lowering its radiancy progressively as night engulfs last dusts of diaphaneity brightening the towering city.
Despite the normalcy of vicinities strode, he didn't crave for loneliness amidst the imagination extending its potential to expatiate scary anomalous sounds emerging from his paranoic mindset. Far footsteps left behind cobblestone, weight of lanky silhouette leans forth, head somersaulted abaft article of clothes layering his countenance staying cemented, gelid quirk falling upon him.
Although why seeking out this duo? Subsequent to mustering informations in order to have a better comprehension regarding these children, everything seemed to bond them with the independency of the Medusa's World, alternate universe where death meets life, time stumbles over decades of repeting again and again the fate of a cursed day. Looming apprehension desiging the commander continuing his vagrant steps sinking into the silence of dimness since Kano stated that both children were still wandering off through the vastness of Mekakucity, unpleasant sigh made Kido jerk during a split second before hazel peepers ogled a stage seldomly perambulated.
The park.
Advancing close to the entrance of said park, a hand propping itself to boost a little pression pushing in a low squeak the metallic barrier allowing the youth to take a first step advancing inside the playground, flow of the logic perked up towards surroundings as the noise from green converse brought out the quietus breaking the sullenness of a spot typically outburst screams of joy monopolizing the sounds of their movements toying various games serving their thirsts of amusement.
Attention lingering oddly at a empty bench nigh to his reach because letting a couple of steps slipping off the ground don't maintain a consecutive effort Kido deemed assertive to move on, the vague inkling suggesting to toss his last breath into a favorable asset concluding the excursion in a little pause, time dedicated to the possibilities of finding either Hibiya or Hiyori.

家族でいいよ
It was almost inevitable, it was kinda of funny how this had happened- he wasn’t sure if he liked it or not… but either way, it seemed that things were funny in that way as he looked back on his life- it was strange, almost too strange, as he gave a small inhale- thinking about when he was a child… he didn’t have a dad, but his grandpa was almost there as a dad, and his mother was a single mother, that had adopted him when he was 5 years old. The boy gave a small sigh, as he leaned back in his chair, headphones wrapped around his neck, the computer screen that he stared in front of everyday reflected on his pupils. The raven haired boy opened his mouth to resound the words that he had been calling himself for the longest time- even though he knew that it wasn’t his original name, it was his official name ever since his mother had adopted him, even though he still remembered his original name as he closed his eyes, staring blankly at the ceiling as his head cocked up to stare at it blankly.
“Shintaro Tateyama….”
It was almost weird to say when he had used the name ‘Shintaro Kisaragi’ for five years. But in a way, he didn’t know his parents or family, they had put him up for adoption since he was born, the foster care had told him that his parents had given him that name, and in a way maybe that was why he had always remembered that name- it was his connection to his birth family, but in the end he didn’t know them nor knew how they were doing or what was going on in their life… maybe they were already dead… for all he knew and he didn’t like to think about things that made him bitter, but such a topic was always coming up recently.
Ayano Tateyama, the person that took him in her care and raised him and gave him everything that any kid would want- for the most part. She gave him a roof, food, and the emotional support that any kid would need when it came to raising a kid properly. Of course he had some problems with bonding with people- from not having anyone in the foster home, there was nothing that he could do. It was almost disgusting, incredibly disgusting.
The boy looked over at his door- that had been opened slightly as a small figure peeked into his room. If anything he knew who this was, as he knew she was coming for the longest time. It was Hiyori, the person that he had known later in life, mainly because she hadn’t been born yet. But either way he had been there for her most of her life, even though he didn’t see her that much due to her living in the country, but his mom had told him that she was coming over for the summer to take summer classes.
Once harsh eyes turned soft as a small smile was plastered on his face. If anything he had a soft spot to the girl he almost saw as his cousin, even if she was techincally his grandma. It was almost kind of funny to think of her as a grandma considering that he was 18 years old by now and she was only 12. He gave a small sigh- as he spoke up to her, his chair turning to face her instead of his computer.
“Hey Grandma, when did you get here?”
Of course he only called her grandma as a joke, and he almost mocked the stereotype that grandmas were old woman. A smirk appeared on his face as stood up walking over to the smaller girl… huh, so he would have to deal with her for the whole summer- he didn’t think it was that bad, at least it was a bit of company. The boy never really made many friends, and therefore there wasn’t a lot to do besides coop himself up inside of his room on the computer, which his mom didn’t see too great but she never really complained about it either. He assumed she wanted him to go out and make friends but he was just rather introverted, but that didn’t mean he didn’t enjoy company.
Huh, what a strange person he turned out to be.

X Me
if they were bro and sis
It was early in the morning- if anything way too early for any normal person to be up, if anything he should have been still asleep but he just couldn't sleep- if anything he wondered if his sister got any sleep either, it was something that he felt he would wonder forever.... but he would just forget what he was asking in the first place when that time came.
The boy opened a cabinet, grabbing a glass before he turned on the sink; filling it up with water. There were so many things he could think about at 3 am, but in the end it was always the ones that he never wanted to think about- because those were the things that consumed his life. Sometimes he wondered why Takane would have even wanted to take her in, even for a little while, it really didn't make sense to him considering that they were into illegal activities and now they had an innocent girl in their apartment.
He thought about her, it was rather ironic that criminals were taking in a small innocent girl, fully knowing that they were in no condition to take care of a child.. he thought it was silly but she had convinced him to let her stay for a little while- at least to the point where she could find a better home.
Tragic....
Hearing footsteps come closer to him, he turned around- seeing the girl- her black hair coming down below shoulder length as it was one of the rare times where she didn't have pigtails in. He wondered why she would have woken up at this hour, and honestly he didn't care at this point, dead charcoal eyes looking down at much more innocent ones- if anything it was almost disgusting to look at, but he was also envious of her innocence, because there was no way to go back once it was gone.
His voice was hoarse, as he almost choked on his words, one falling on top of the other... lying was something that was suffocating and he hated it, but he knew it was a necessary evil sometimes, and this was one of them- as he gave a broken smile. It was forced and rather half assed, but with his thoughts- he really wasn't sure he could pull off a real smile....
"Hiyori, you're up rather early...
Is everything alright?"
Eyes flickered away from the other, as he wasn't sure what he was suppose to do- in a way he was the younger sibling, he didn't know how to be the big sibling in this situation- it was true that he was always there for his sister, but in situations like this.... he wasn't sure what he was suppose to do. It was almost like he was being put in his sister's place... he wanted to laugh at that thought.
The girl's mouth opened to say that she had a nightmare... he probably should have expected it and honestly he almost wanted to just say back, 'Yea me too' but he knew that he couldn't- it wasn't like he had a choice if he wanted to talk about these things, they were just how they were and that was it. A small exhale, as he set the glass down- walking over to the smaller girl.
"I'm sorry to hear that,
why don't you go back to sleep?"
Tired eyes looked at the raven haired girl as he just pat her head slightly, not sure what to do next- he almost wanted to wake up Takane, telling her that it was her problem and not his, but he wouldn't do that, because in the end he knew that he needed to take some responsibility.
Something to redeem him,
from his sins...
just something small...
His lips pressed against each other as he looked at her, smiling a bit more honestly this time, as he took her small hand- it was soft, as his rough fingers held them gently before speaking up.
"I'll stay with you,
until you fall asleep, okay?"

「休みましょう」 :: unpleasantstory
He didn't often have a free day to spend with his friends--much less specifically Hiyori--but things had calmed down a bit from the busy season at work, and he was able to take the afternoon off. They arranged to meet first for lunch, then for whatever Hiyori wanted to do--he had an idea that she might want to check out the shops in the area, since she didn't come this way too often, but being that he was an easy-going soul, he was happy with whatever would make her happy on this unusual sort of easy day.
Curious golden eyes scanned the area around the park, the same one they had been to before, where they agreed to meet--it was an easy enough place to meet, near enough to the center of everything interesting and well within both of their knowledge. She was probably here already, but where... Soon enough he caught sight of her sitting on the swings; of course, she had mentioned that she liked them.
"Hiyori-chan!" He called as he approached her, gait easy as usual despite the blazing sun. It was rare the people who he used such an honorific with--then again, he had always been the youngest of his acquaintances (or behaved like such, with regards to his siblings) before meeting Hiyori and Hibiya. But that was part of what made her a curious entity in his life, and it wasn't so bad, playing the older brother for a change.

crashing in and b r e a k i n g you in t w o i see that and more again again again
it's tiring, isn't it? you deserved so much more than this.
i swear, i'll get you out of here, Hiyori.
It was too hot to swing.
Touching the chain link scalded his hands, but he sat there still. It seemed that they usually did. Hiyori sat here, so he followed, though he hoped that the cat would leave and free them both, leave as in disappear, not fleeing out into any road. It would inevitably do the latter, taking Hiyori with it, he was sure of that. This world was tormenting, but at least it was also predictable. Even though he was already trying to think of a place, an activity, that he hadn't tried with her yet, some part of him had long since accepted that he wouldn't succeed. Maybe the only way was to throw himself in front of her after all. In that case... he only needed to be alert, wherever they went.
He was honestly tired. Tired of keeping up such a breath-stealing pace for however many years it had been. But he couldn't stop. Not when it would steal Hiyori's breath at any moment. There was no time to let his guard down, right? Doing something lousy, weak like that... in the end, he'd be letting both himself and Hiyori down.
"Hey, Hiyori," he starts, his voice a little hollow. Maybe that was what showed this conversation would be different. Usually, he found himself smiling, trying to delude not only Hiyori, into thinking that he was fine, but also himself. Of course he wasn't fine. He wanted out of this endless nightmare. There were none of those pretend airs today.
The hand that isn't being burnt by the swing finds its place gripping the fabric of his clothes, sticking to him in the heat. Yet another trapping thing. "I know that you didn't want to talk about it anymore... well, I guess I assumed that. It makes sense. I don't really want to think about this either." He talked too much in her presence--even though the situation had become something like this, he'd never get to appear cool in front of her, huh? He swallows. "Well, I was just wondering if..."
Spit it out. "Those nightmares... do you still have them? Hiyori."
