Had a really long discussion with my dad where he kept insisting that sister can't have autism because he does all the same things and he's "fine"

#“she doesn't have autism I do that all the time”#My guy#Unfortunately he has major internalised ableism and can't even entertain the thought#So I was stuck doing damage control so he doesn't invalidate my sister more#Unpaid family mediator for the last 20 years to the rescue!#No i totally have no issues form having to navigate my family problems like a therapist for adults since I was in preschool#Eye twitch#Normally I don't do this anymore and let them argue and be immature but my sis was in tears#And then I also got caught in the crossfire and sis is mad at me and doesn't want to show me any of her interests anymore because I critique#Honey I love you but you have shit taste and if I don't say anything after an hour you will never stop#And then my dad got at me for wanting to make sure he's doing OK after his brothers death so he just yelled at me#That it's sick and abnormal to want to talk about all my feelings#So I went home#That's what I get for trying to make sure everyone is not FALLING APART ON MY WATCH#What do you mean parentified eldest daughter syndrome hahahahaha
