Nah you wanna hear the real weird shit with US college names? There's a lot so bear with me,
So state schools will often have a prefix or some other indication (UC for California, UNC for north carolina, ect) some are standardized like the UCs (then theres the cal state schools which is a diffrent thing, also public :), some are semi standardized like NC with the UNC schools and then there's western, app, eastern, state, ect which are also state schools even though it's called the UNC system because fuck anyone who wants this to make sense, in addition they're all like UNCG, UNCP, UNCC, UNCW, UNCCH, but if someone just says UNC they're referring to 1 speficfc school and you get to figure out which one they're talking about (it's chapel hill), New York also has a split naming model like California, the CUNY and SUNY schools (cunys are in the city of New York and sunys are just in the state of new york) and some are just a free for all like Florida, some of their public colleges are UF, FSU, SPC, FGCU, NWFSC, and more, its just, all over the place,
You wanna guess where Miami university is? Maybe Miami Florida? No, fuck you it's in Ohio,
There are at least 4 diffrent Loyola University's, they're all in diffrent states,
Colleges will and do copy the names of other colleges, my guess is they want to get someone who thought they were applying to the well known one to accidentally apply and go to the wrong school, (Columbia College instead of Columbia University the Ivy League school, theres the more prestigious weslyan univerity in Connecticut and then theres the one with a 25% graduation rate in NC then like, 10 more, theres a fair number of these),
Also there's a college named Longwood University and its in Farmville, that just sounds fake
There's over 4,000 colleges in the US there is so much random naming bullshit going on, you cna just look through college navigator and see exactly what I'm talking about
universities in america are called Michigan University and universities in england are called Our Lady Beverly's Dunwich Moor Academy For Gifted Little Boys

Florida Gators 2020
It comes as no surprise that in most predictions around the college football community have UF as the favorites to go to the SEC Championship this December. With Georgia looking for a new QB to replace Jake Fromm and no real threat besides a typical Kentucky or Tennessee, the Florida Gators seem to have the opportunity of a lifetime. With Kyle Trask and Emory Jones keeping Defenses on their toes, an almost full returning O-Line, and most importantly the weapons to throw to including the best TE in the country Kyle Pitts, the human joystick Kadarious Toney, and the always reliable Grimes next to the up and coming Copeland the offense will be thriving. The worry I see is actually on the defensive side of the ball. The loss of Jabari Zuniga and Jonathan Grenard will slow up the pass rush that really set us apart from LSU and Georgia last season. I am not as worried about the Linebackers and DB’s as Houston pairing with Miller (I’m assuming) and Elam/Wilson will be running the show. Campbell will need to step up into those shoes for his senior year at the nose. His junior stats include 39 total tackles with 4 for a loss and 1 sack. He also was apart of the reason we beat Miami with a forced fumble and the recovery. Next to him we will see most likely Slaton who tallied a decent 29 tackles with 3.5 for a loss and 2 sacks. On the outside, we will see the transfer Brandon Cox from Georgia who missed last season after transferring midway through the year. But he did manage 20 tackles 2 for a loss and 1 sack in only his freshman campaign. I cannot wait to see this young man in action as his Junior year approaches. The man that I predict to be the best on this D-Line is Zach Carter. Although I think he may switch a lot from DT to DE, he still managed 28 tackles with 4.5 for loss and 4.5 sacks. This versatility is what we need on the line. This allows for more stunts on the line and hidden blitz packages.
Do not be surprised when UF waltz through the competition this year with their loaded offense and versatile defense. I can see them easily going undefeated this season with the most obvious struggles against LSU in Week 6 and Georgia in Week 9 after the bye. LSU I think will be a 9-3 team this year. You cannot replace Joe Burrow that fast just like you cannot with Fromm. Also, 14 of their top players were drafted leaving a lot of question marks for them. Yes they still have Chase who will be good if they can get the ball to him and Stingley who is probably the best young CB in college football and a definite top 5 overall but that is 2 and you are still missing 14 essential spots. I think they lose to us, Bama, and either Auburn or an upset from Ole Miss. I think Georgia loses 2 this year. Lost Fromm, both running backs, and Andrew Thompson but still kept an overall decent team. They lose to Alabama Week 3 and then lose to UF Week 9.
I could see UF struggling Week 2 against Kentucky unless things start to get back to normal soon. The lack of practices and camps and the spring game might shake them up with less than 3 months to go until the opener against Eastern WA. Kentucky put us in our place and made us respect them in that game. Franks going down and Trask coming in did turn the tide however. No offense to Franks and I wish him all the best at Arkansas, but he was not the right fit for this team. Trask is the calm and collected under pressure and while I admit he could just have Emory run the ball as he is no Tebow, he does go through progressions beautifully and puts the ball where his receiver has the best chance to get it. I trust he will only get better with the last season upon us. Throwing for the second most yards in the SEC behind Burrow was no small feat also. Having almost 3,000 with a couple games he did not play fully is a great stat line by itself. Throwing 310 yards and 3 TD’s against LSU is even better. I am happy where Mullen has brought us back to and they will be in many peoples prediction for the playoffs.

DCP TIP (Get an annual pass)
No, not for WDW or DLR but for Universal or other theme parks in the area you’d like to go to. If you plan on going there multiple times during your time this is an investment you should consider making. Yes it’s a couple hundred dollars, but you’d end up spending more in the long run if you just bought ticket(s) each time you went. In addition, some passes cover parking fees, not to mention pass holder discounts on food and merchandise. Your 3+ trips will pay for themselves if you decide to do this.
This is entirely up to you, but I’m glad I made this investment. Also, it was a great place to go if I just wanted nothing to do with Disney. Not that I wanted nothing to do with it, but every once in a while I needed a break. I worked there, I played there so often that I’d need a “Disney detox” just some time at a place that was not a Disney Park or company housing.
Truthfully, if you plan on going to Univeral at least 3 times during your time you should look into getting a pass. I paid for my pass outright, no payment plans so it hurt for a bit, but it was worth it. The payment plans will automatically charge you again after the year is up which means, if you don’t cancel it and you’ve moved back home/school out of Florida or California you’re in a pickle, so stay on top of when you need to cancel. I also got the highest level so I wouldn’t have to pay the $20-$30 parking every time, and combined with the price of a ticket I more than made back what I paid for it.
As I said though, if you have no interest in Univeral or really any other theme park in the area, you don’t have to do this. This is a suggestion for those who might consider this. There are other options too. Check for ticket packages, many ICPs I knew bought a 4 pack of tickets because it’s cheaper than buying a ticket every time and because they didn’t have to drive they don’t have to pay for parking. (It is my opinion though that if parking does have to be paid, everyone in the car should contribute. That’s just my opinion though.)

Stephanie Cornwell, 21 (left), and Natalie Herb, 20 (right), enjoy coming to the Union Street Farmers Market together every Wednesday. Cornwell, studying journalism, and Herb, studying graphic design, both consider the market an escape from their school work. Although the Union Street Farmers Market originally intended to attract families as a weekly family-oriented event, it has become a fan-favorite among many students attending the Univerity of Florida. Cornwell and Herb are always sure to stop at one of their favorite vendors, Juicy Girls, to take ginger shots that help boost immunity.
“Shots, shots, shots,” Cornwell and Herb playfully said in unison as they threw back their spicy ginger shots.

Spectacular Sunday Sunset & Dramatic Dusk Display (New York Home Marina) - IMRAN™ Yes, the sunsets I’m blessed to experience at my blessed West-facing home on Tampa Bay, Florida are among the best in the world. But, despite the less direct “on-the-water” angles from my South-facing home of 27-years on the Great South Bay, there can be many spectacular ones to see in New York too. Tonight’s is an example. I captured from the boardwalk while walking Kennedy & K2, after walking them on the beach here. I recall my late beloved father and I taking in these scenes during his 2-months stay with me at this time of year in 1996. My mother never got to visit this home. She and I would often see then after a walk to the Hudson River banks from my off-campus Columbia Univerity apartment in the summer of 1989. My Dad was in the USA too but away attending some higher education civil engineering courses in Salt Lake City, Utah then. © 2022 IMRAN™ #IMRAN #trees #autumn #evening #walking #nature #NewYork #LongIsland #lifestyle #beach #AtlanticOcean #autobiographical #autobiography #memories #dusk #marina #boating #boats #sunset #reflections (at East Patchogue, New York) https://www.instagram.com/p/CjytqDwMZKy/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=

hi im mel, est and i’m so excited to start roleplaying with everyone! come at me with all the plots! and i hope you love my bean as much as i do. :)
if you see astrid fuentes hanging around the gray building, it’s because the 22 year old is from #g011 and has lived there for a few days. apparently she’s known to be polite and optimistic but also careless and aloof, so being known as the dreamer makes sense. lately, she’s been busy as a receptionist/artist.
let’s get started with her parents. Her mom owns a cute little bakery in florida which is pretty successful, and her dad is from old money, needless to say astrid grew up wealthy except she’s not a snob about it.
Astrid grew up with two other siblings, and she’s had all the wars with them growing up. it was great lol.
Her whole family moved to florida the year Astrid started high school and that’s where, besides the teenage angst and hormones --- she discovered how much she loved art, real, finding paint everywhere even after a shower, renaissance appreciation kind of art.
Her parents really didn’t care for it, they were just happy she was happy kinda thing. Astrid’s always been a daddy’s girl, so her dad’s always been protective of her.
Astrid is hella moody, as in one second she’s totally sure of herself, and the next she thinks she’s the worst, kind of like howl in howl’s moving castle when his hair changed and he became super moody and weird lol. watch the movie if you haven’t!!
During a fight or flight, situation, it is likely astrid will run, she’s kind of the worst in that sense, a little selfish without meaning to be.
in high school, she definitely would have been an outcast since being social wouldn’t really be her thing.
Since freshman year, she had big dreams, working at the getty, or just having her own art exhibit with her works. Astrid got into photography too and added tht to her portfolio. She always had big dreams, travelling, taking pictures, sketching, living in hostels, etc. It was a life she wanted.
Astrid wasn’t completely happy after high school, she didnt end up doing what she wanted. Univerity/college wasn’t an option, and she ended up getting in a pretty heated argument with her dad so she moved out.
Months later, she made up with her dad briefly who offered to pay for her little dream.
Astrid did what she wnted, finishing school somewhere else, fulfilling the travelling prt but always feeling that empty void in her life.
she came back to florida, getting a job as a receptionist at a dental office which pays well enough for her to afford living and her artist life.
