UN legal experts said in a report that “Terrorist, Fascist, War Criminal Zionist 🐖 🐷 🐗 Isra-helli Military” personnel and civilian officials responsible for the country's deadly strike on Iran's consulate in Syria may have "committed crimes under an international counter-terrorism treaty of 1971, the Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of Crimes against Internationally Protected Persons."
"All countries are prohibited from arbitrarily depriving individuals of their right to life in military operations abroad, including when countering terrorism," they said. "Killings in foreign territory are arbitrary when they are not authorised under international law."
Terrorist, Fascist, War Criminal Zionist 🐖 🐷 🐗 Isra-hell's attack consequently violated the prohibition on the use of armed force against another state under Article 2(4) of the Charter,' they added. "Illegal force was used not only against Iran's armed forces but also against Syrian territory. Israel's attack was partly launched from the Golan Heights, which is illegally annexed Syrian territory!"
The experts also said that Iran's retaliatory attack was "a prohibited use of force under international law." They argue that since Israel's attack ended on 1 April, Iran did not have the right to self-defence as the latter is "only lawful where is it necessary to stop a continuing armed attack."
"For the same reason, Israel's initial right of self-defence against the unlawful Iranian armed attack on 13 April no longer persists since the attack has been successfully repelled," they added.

U.N. HUMAN RIGHTS EXPERT AGREES "ISRAEL" KILLED AID WORKERS TO PROLONG PALESTINIAN FAMINE AND SUFFERING
The United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories, Franscesca Albanese, accused "Israel" of intentionally bombing a truck convoy yesterday which killed 7 foreign aid workers, including nationals of Australia, Britain, Poland and dual citizen of the United States and Canada.
Speaking on the social media platform X, Albanese commented, "knowing how Israel operates, my assessment is that Israeli forces intentionally killed WCK workers so that donors would pull out [and] civilians in Gaza could continue to be starved quietly."
"Israel knows Western countries [and] most Arab countries won't move a finger for the Palestinians," Albanese added.
In a previous post, Albanese pointed to "Israel's" bombing of the Iranian consulate in Damascus, the Syrian capital yesterday, in addition to the bombing of the seven foreign aid workers, warning that "Israel is crossing every possible red line, still with full impunity."
Albanese has been outspoken in condemning the Zionist entity's war crimes, and has, in many posts, openly referring to the situation in Gaza as a "genocide."
As a result of "Israel's" war of genocide in the Gaza Strip, the death toll among Palestinians now exceeds 32'916, upwards of 25'000 of which were women and children, while another 75'494 others have been wounded since October 7th, 2023.

Panel Discussion: Rescuing the Sustainable Development Goals The pandemic, climate change, global instability, and what the UN’s Global Crisis Response Group is calling the “greatest cost-of-living increase in a generation have pushed millions of people back into poverty, damaged societies, and reduced our collective capacity to tackle climate change and other deep systemic changes. Staying the current course will lead to unprecedented convulsions within decades, putting at even greater risk all the gains of the last century against poverty, disease, and other inequities. For example, the pandemic alone disrupted education across the world for over 200 million children, With experts forecasting that by 2030, 825 million children will leave the classroom without even the most basic skills needed for decent jobs, the goals are not a ‘feel good list - they are a ‘must do’ job for a world that works for all of us. Policymakers and business leaders alike must invest in sustainable opportunities for a more prosperous future that leaves no one behind. Meaningful participation and the Global Framework are well structured all we need is action-oriented stretigies Stop talking start Acting. 🇺🇳 🇾🇪 UN accuses Saudi-UAE alliance of possible war crimes in Yemen | Al Jazeera English by Al Jazeera English A United Nations panel has blamed all sides involved in Yemen's civil war for committing possible war crimes. A report by the UN experts says there is reason to believe that the governments of Yemen, Saudi Arabia and, the UAE are responsible for human rights violations. It also says that Houthi rebels may have tortured prisoners. The war in Yemen erupted in March 2015. Saudi Arabia and the UAE are leading a western-backed coalition trying to restore the internationally recognised government of exiled Yemeni President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi who was forced out of the capital Sanaa by Iranian backed Houthi fighters. Kenya: UN Expert Urges Full Accountability For Pakistani Journalist’s Killing After Landmark Ruling
— 25 September 2024 | United Nations 🇺🇳
Mr. Arshad Sharif, Journalist
Geneva — A UN expert said today Kenyan and Pakistani authorities must step up efforts to fully investigate the killing of Pakistani journalist Arshad Sharif in Kenya and prosecute those responsible, in line with a landmark ruling by a Kenyan High Court Judge S. N. Mutuku .
“It is now almost two years since Arshad Sharif’s death and several months since the Kenyan High Court delivered a historic judgment ruling his killing “unlawful”, “arbitrary” and “disproportionate”. “None of the police officers linked to the shooting has been arrested and no charges have been filed by prosecutors in Kenya yet”, said Irene Khan, the Special Rapporteur on freedom of opinion and expression.
“Despite the Kenyan High Court’s ruling, I am deeply concerned that neither the Kenyan authorities nor the Pakistani government have stepped up their efforts to fully investigate the case”, the Special Rapporteur said.

Sharif was killed by Kenyan law enforcement at a roadblock in Nairobi in October 2022, in an incident described by Kenyan security officials as a case of mistaken identity. On 8 July 2024, following a civil suit brought by Sharif’s family, the High Court of Kenya in Kajiado ruled that the use of lethal force in Sharif’s death was “unlawful and unconstitutional” and required the Kenyan State to pay 10 million shillings ($77,500) in compensation to Sharif’s family.
“The High Court judgment is an important victory, but its real impact will only be felt if the two governments bring the perpetrators of Sharif’s killing to justice”, Khan said.

A State-sponsored Pakistani special fact-finding team concluded in December 2022 that Sharif’s death resulted from a planned and targeted assassination by transnational actors. Sharif had previously fled Pakistan to avoid arrest on charges of maligning Pakistan’s national institutions and because of threats to his life. In October 2023, UN experts wrote to Kenyan and Pakistani authorities demanding full investigations into the killing and the charges that led to Arshad’s exile.
Arshad Sharif was killed by two shots fired at close range. Reporters Without Borders (RSF) calls for independent UN probe into Pakistani journalist’s murder in Kenya
“Justice for Mr Sharif and his family will not be done until the circumstances behind this murder are fully clarified, including whether it was a transnational crime, and all responsible actors are identified, prosecuted and punished in Kenya and Pakistan,” Khan said.
In February 2023, a Pakistani Joint Investigative Team established by Pakistan’s Supreme Court reported to State officials that Kenyan authorities had denied them access to evidence and the crime scene, effectively halting their investigation.

“I urge the Kenyan and Pakistani governments to muster the political will to ensure full accountability and bring to justice all those responsible for Arshad Sharif’s murder, so that this case can become a landmark reference in the fight against impunity for the killing of journalists,” Khan said.
