who is vernon’s friend squad? i didn’t even know luizy posted that wow

his main squad of friends is M.O.L.A, they are a 5-member group consisting of jamie (also known as park jimin, soloist and part of 15&, and asc host), seungyoun (from uniq), nathan (producer, he has worked on a bunch of kpop songs incl. svt’s rocket and ptg’s violet, which he lists in his twt bio), and kino (from pentagon).

EDIT: according to some of their ig stories (and confirmed by nathan’s twt bio) mola now has 6 members, the 6th member being hoho!

anyway they’re friends mostly but friends who also make music together. more detailed mola stuff under the cut, as you will soon see This Is My Passion

the original group didn’t have vernon and kino in it, they only joined in august 2017 when they released the chillin remix, but the five of them have been friends for quite a while! nathan once said on ig live that vn and kino never asked to officially join M.O.L.A, they just all knew they were part of it. idk how vernon met all them actually lol, but kino, jamie, and seungyoun were all in school together with got7′s yugyeom. later i guess they met nathan and then vernon somehow and now we hereanyway some background and interaction stuff

in general over the years, nathan and jamie in particular have used their igs to hype up their friends. jamie deleted all her old ig stuff sadly but i know she hyped up lotto when it was released in 2015, so her and vernon have been close-ish since then

he bought the squad matching phonecases when he was in japan last year! here’s a tweet from kino about it, and a tweet showing all the diff cases. you can see vernon’s phone with the case here too

that time when seungyoun filmed vn, jamie and nathan were also there at the party so they presumably hang out whenever they can! iirc nathan has talked abt having sleepovers before on his ig live :)

in march 2017 seungyoun and vernon went to an escape room together 

in aug 2017 vernon and kino went to an ariana grande concert together, and kino attended diamond edge

vernon gave nathan a special signed teen,age album and made him post a pic of it

vernon attended ptg’s tentastic concert in april 2018 and went home with kino, post here

vernon took these pics of seungyoun and his foot is in this pic lmao

there’s plenty more interaction between jamie + nathan + seungyoun on their igs, and they sometimes mention kino or vernon

in may 2018, hoho was added to mola

yeah that’s a basic rundown… vernon is also friends with other people obviously, there are some people that all of mola are friends with but this is his Main Squad. mola are very cute and i’m glad vernon has close buds now since he didn’t really have friends after dropping out, and they all like the same music and are equally passionate about producing it… i hope they find time in the near future to work on more original songs :)

Yixuan

LiHua loves to call him to to talk about anything really…but she does love to show off her outfits to him because it makes him panic every time. Yixuan tends to stress himself out about how people would view her as a huge influencer in the music industry, but he supports her solo and acting career 100%.

Sungjoo

Sungjoo is a loud person while LiHua tends to be quiet because she was raised in a quiet household. LiHua tended to avoid him but over time they became best friends and now LiHua even starts shouting matches with him to see who could be the loudest.

Wenhan

Wenhan is the reason she got into acting in the first place. They always openly support each other and love to clown each other by reacting scenes from dramas they acted in.

Seungyeon

These two collab together often, people have checked and there hasn't been one album that LiHua has released that didn't have Seungyeon on it. Seungyeon loves to see how many stupid things he can do before LiHua gives him a judgemental glare.

Yibo

Yibo and LiHua are the closest in the group, they cling onto each other constantly and when they are in the same room it is rare to see LiHua away from him. They have starred in dramas together and love to make fun of the other’s character.
