After Arson, What’s Next for Uncle Hugo’s Bookstore in Minneapolis?

Uncle Hugo’s and other Minneapolis bookstores are taking stock and moving forward.

As most local book geeks have heard by now, the bookstore duo of Uncle Edgar’s Mystery Bookstore and Uncle Hugo’s Science Fiction Bookstore, which has been a fixture of Minneapolis for 40 years, burned to the ground in the early hours of May 30, 2020. Thankfully, no one involved with the stores was injured.
